(A/n: Sooooooo, it's been a while. I think the last time I posted a chapter was 4 months ago. This chapter may be a bit rushed in order to finally get something out for you guys.

And speaking of you guys, thank you so much for all your comments over the time I've been gone, hopefully I answered most of your questions in this chapter.

Also, thank you so much for 5.5k views across all of the sites I post on, which is just so amazing!

To be honest, I just forgot about this fanfic until like a week ago because of school and stuff. I'm way out of practice and I've been running into A LOT of writer's block. Hopefully 4 months won't be the norm, but you never know with life and stuff.

I'm going to stop mumbling now, Enjoy :)

Yagi never needed to be the number one hero to fulfill his goal of being the symbol of peace, but that doesn't mean he didn't want it. He's not jealous of Endeavor, it's just he's disappointed in himself for gaining such a powerful quirk and being stuck at number 2.

And the worst part is that it isn't because Endeavor does more hero work or does his work better, it's all because of that stupid shitty prophecy. Honestly, he's lucky to even be number 2.

However, now was not the time to dwell on the faults of society because now is when All Might will finally defeat the number one villain once and for all(get it).

Recently, the police department dedicated solely to tracking AFO's whereabouts, figured out that All For One was camping out in an abandoned warehouse in the far south side of Japan. This seemed like the best time to strike since there were no civilians in the area, and hopefully All For One doesn't see him coming and this fight will end quickly.

Though hope is really the only thing he can back himself up with.

When they arrived at the abandoned warehouse, things instantly started going south.

To start off with, the recon team meant to track the exact position of AFO went offline almost immediately, meaning they were going in blind.

Secondly, a hundred or so enemy soldiers started walking out of the "abandoned warehouse," meaning their numbers advantage was absolutely meaningless.

Lastly and most importantly, All For One was sitting in the center of all of his "minions," like he knew they were coming from miles away.

All Might kept pushing in regardless. If they lost their stealth advantage, so be it, he specializes in brute force anyways.

After a dead-silent standoff between the two sides, chaos broke out all at once. Gunshots were firing in every direction and soldiers from each side were getting picked off one by one.

All Might made a bee-line directly for All For One and started off with a 50% power texas smash.

"Nice to see you too," All For One said while catching All Might's punch.

After a series of blindingly fast clashes, All Might was on the backfoot and was being pushed back ever so slightly by each punch.

'All right then, no more holding back' All Might thought as he threw a 100% Delaware Smash directly into All For One's face.

The two of them continued clashing, but now at a slightly faster pace than before. They both knew that this battle would come down to who had the most stamina, so in order to ensure their victory, they needed to do something drastic. Something so powerful that it could take down the best of the best in one hit. Something lik-

Suddenly, bright lines of light began shooting out of All For One in all directions, and they pierced through anything they came in contact with.

Unlucky for All Might, one of those things happened to be his stomach.

'Gah, there's no way I'm winning this straight out anymore,' All Might thought.

So as All For One began to let his guard down due to his "assured" victory, All Might grabbed his face with one hand and his lungs with the other, and squeezed as hard as he possibly could(which is pretty hard) until both he and All For One fell.

Unbeknownst to anyone, seven people, or more like vestiges, were watching the battle that broke down. And they were the only ones who noticed the fire of One For All inside of All Might to slowly dwindle until it was half its original size.

"We need to act now, if we lose One For All before we come into play, then there is no way we can win," the green vestige said.

"I agree, do we have a candidate yet?" the pink vestige asked.

"Yes, we finally have one, and he's in the perfect position to be intercepted," the red vestige said.

"Izuku Midoriya, you are our only hope," the green vestige said while watching Izuku's fight with the wooden man.

"Plus Ultra"

As soon as those words were spoken, chaos broke out. Lightning, ice, and water could be spotted from every corner of the USJ.

'Damn, these guys don't hold back,' Izuku thought as he ran towards the closest building in his city in order to maximize his home field advantage.

Kaminari was having the time of his life. His quirk, Lightning Perfectionist, was a combination of many lightning quirks to create one perfect quirk worthy enough to get the strongest quirk. As soon as "Mr. Old and Slow" finished his monologue, Kaminari instantly used his lightning transformation and went straight towards the first person he could find.

However, the first person he found seemed to be looking for others as well, because they both started off with one of their special moves.

"LIGHTNING STORM!" Kaminari yelled as he summoned a series of lightning strikes in his enemies general direction.

"WATER SPEARS!" his enemy yelled as he summoned two highly pressurized spears of water that were aimed right at Kaminari's chest.

Kaminari was quick enough to dodge both spears, however, his enemy redirected the spears with his hands until the spear eventually caught him on the side.

'Gah, I can't believe I fell for that,' Kaminari cursed at himself for his misjudgement.

In order to bounce back, Kaminari took advantage of his enemy's overconfidence by manipulating the lightning he created with the lightning storm towards his enemy, and while he managed to dodge 1, no one can consistently dodge lightning chasing them, so 3 connected to his side.

However, unknowingly to Kaminari or his enemy, someone was sneaking up on their fight and decided to make their move when both of them were on the edge of consciousness. And when they finally noticed she was there, it was too late.

The lightning and water that both Kaminari and his (original) enemy fired at the girl seemed to instantly dissipate into nothingness right in front of her, and then as she walked up to their crippled bodies, she suddenly made the lightning and water reappear and strike their opposite holders.

"Nice try, but you'll need more than that to take me down," she said

The last thing Kaminari saw before fading into unconsciousness was the sinister smirk on the girl's face.

"Denki Kaminari and Kano Izumi have both been eliminated, congratulations to the rest of you for making it to the top 5," Mr. Aizawa stated over the intercom of the USJ.

Nori Shuzenji knew from the second she stepped into this building that she didn't belong here. All of the others had quirks suited for combat, while her quirk was support based, so there was really no point in going on the offensive.

So the second Mr. Aizawa declared the beginning of the battle, she ran to a circle of rocks that was surrounded by a moat of lava. That way, the only people who could even get close would be a fire user or someone who could fly, and she could hide until she was forced to move.

While her family was known as the weakest of the candidates, they were still candidates, with the same advantages, so when her parents heard she wanted to be a combat hero, they scoured the country for the best quirk analysts in order to find a way for her to use her quirk offensively. Her quirk, energy conversion, allowed her to sacrifice any non-physical thing that would be considered hers in order to heal an equal mental or physical wound of someone else. The analysts could only come up with one idea, which is a move called 'Invincibility' that needs an extremely large sacrifice in order for her to not be able to take any damage. However, she hasn't been able to keep up this move for more than 10 minutes at a time, so she has to use it strategically.

"Denki Kaminari and Kano Izumi have both been eliminated, congratulations to the rest of you for making it to the top 5," Mr. Aizawa said over the intercom.

Whether it was the surprise of her superior candidates getting eliminated before her, or her lack of battle experience, Nori made the worst mistake that she possibly could've made.

"YES," she practically screamed, before covering her mouth in realization of what she's done.

Anyone who's ever played hide and seek would know that speaking is the easiest way to give away your position to seekers nearby. And unluckily, the worst seeker possible happened to be nearby.

"YES," someone screamed from a circle of rocks.

Shoto, who was currently looking for someone to fight, happened to stumble upon a person hiding within rocks.

This must be his lucky day.

He used his ice to push himself over the moat of lava and right on top of one of the rocks and looked down to see who was there.

"Fancy seeing you around here," Todoroki said as he looked down to see who was hiding.

He was surprised to find that one of the candidates was the one hiding instead of Midoria or Uraraka like he was expecting.

"hi..." she said in a squeaky tone, knowing that she's been caught.

"How's your day been?" she asked, obviously stalling for time.

Shoto didn't say anything, but he created an ice spike in his hand and aimed it right at her.

"Pretty good, but it's better now thanks to you," he said as he threw it at her.

The ice spike was made in such a way where once it is attached to a person's flesh, it covers their entire body with ice until they are knocked out.

So you could imagine his surprise when not only did the ice spike not do anything to her, but it completely dissolved into water.

'Huh, that's weird,' he thought, but he knew in the end it didn't matter.

In order to end the fight quickly, he released his massive ice block that fully encased her, and half of the rock circle in ice.

However, to his surprise, ALL of the ice melted, again.

"Ok that's weird, what are you doing?" Shoto asked coldly.

"Just leveling the playing field," she said in a cold tone also, as she climbed up the rocks on the opposite end of the circle.

Then she jumped over to his side and punched him in the face.

This opening attack was followed by a flurry of attacks on both sides, but was ultimately tipping towards the side of the girl.

'I'm not going out like this,' Shoto thought, recognizing that he's on the backfoot.

Deciding he just needed time, Shoto whipped out the same move he used before in order to somewhat recompose himself, but this time it took twice as long for the ice to melt.

'She must not be able to keep up this form infinitely,' Shoto thought as he threw a haymaker straight into the center of her chest.

After another minute of a straight up brawl, Shoto came up with a plan, he would create as many small ice weapons as he possibly could and throw them at her until her ability couldn't keep up.

And his plan was working, every ice attack melted slower than the last one until one of them finally stuck.

An ice spear, identical to the one that originally started the battle, ended up being the one to finally cover her in ice.

"Ironic huh," she said, seemingly unphased, as the ice fully covered her.

"Nori Shuzenji has been eliminated. Congratulations all of you for making it to the top 4 and the second part of this test. In order for this not to last forever, we have shrunk the barrier to just the water zone, a point equidistant from everyone right now. You have two minutes to reach that location or else you will be eliminated. Everyone will also be given a radar that will show where everyone is in the zone at all times. As always, good luck..."

"And Plus Ultra!" both Mr. Aizawa and Thirteen said simultaneously.

(A/n: A lot to unpack there, huh.

Starting off, ANOTHER CHAPTER GOING TO PART THREE UGHHHHHHHHH! WHEN WILL THIS CURSE END?!

Moving on, we finally have the All Might reveal, and yes, One For All is fading faster in this than in canon. Also, I've made it so a passable quirk with vestiges that doesn't currently have a user can freely roam the planet until they find another user.

I purposely focused on everyone but our two main characters this chapter so you can get a feel of what everyone is like.

Also, to explain what happened with the lightning and water spear, Eri's quirk allows her to change and object to any possible future state, including a state where the lighting and water spear were already heading towards Kaminari and Izumi.

And just to be clear, EVERYONE is op here, it's really just who's more op than the rest.

Hopefully my long break didn't mess up my writing, but if it did, please feel free to leave some constructive criticism anywhere(it would also make my day)

Plus Ultra ;)
