I'm doing pretty good with these three story updates! This one takes a tad longer, since it doesn't follow the canon MCU just yet. But, working hard to make sure it goes how I want it! Enjoy!

WARNING: There will be topics on the subject when gay marriage was illegal and some possible offensive terms! I apologize in advance! I support gay marriage!

The drive was silent, only yelling and honking outside in the city filled their ears. They parked the car and Loki opened the door for her. Once Charlotte entered she was met with distressed people at the front desk. A few people were crying or screaming for the police to do their job. Loki walked in behind her, surprised by the chaos before him.

"What's all this mayhem about?" He asked.

Charlotte shook her head, "I don't know. Nothing good, though." she told.

She approached the desk, asking one of the officers what was going on as Loki lingered by the door. He listened to them talk about reporting family members or friends missing and crying that they need to find them. Loki didn't know if it was normal for this amount of people to disappear in the city at once. No one ever got 'reported' lost in Asgard. Then again, his home wasn't as humongous as Midgard. No other lands and most people stayed within the plains of the planet. Had more of a chance going missing in Vanaheim than Asgard.

Charlotte returned, her expression dark. "We need to talk to Johnson."

The two made their way past the chaos and into the back where Johnson's office was found. When entering the room his desk was piled with files, photos, papers, and on his board had photos of various women from license photos.

"What's going on?" She asked, as he turned from the board to the two.

"There's been a report of women missing in the night. So far, five women have been reported, last night a young woman from New Jersey was abducted in the city." Johnson explained. "These women are all between the ages of seventeen and twenty nine."

"Any connections between the victims?"

"Their gender." Charlotte gave a look. "Other than that, it's believed they might be taken for trafficking. These events only occurred in the evening, the last one was heading returning home."

Charlotte pondered for a moment, "No witnesses, hearing or seeing anything?" she asked.

"It's suggested that they're taken in remote places of the city. You know how many alleys and back buildings they might go through for a shortcut?" Johnson told.

Loki looked up, "Why not block those sections to stop them?" he asked.

"Some of those are only accessible for business or apartment owners." Johnson answered. "If we blocked it off, we'd have to keep police there to traffic them access. It'll be too much."

"Then the owners surely could keep them out." Loki suggested.

Johnson sighed, rubbing a pudgy fingers at his brow. He leaned onto his desk and waved his hand. "Go on, git."

Charlotte and Loki reached for the door, but once Loki left, she shut the door and stepped back to his desk. "Sir, I want to ask something." Johnson folded his fat fingers, nodding for her to continue. "Does this case give us... I mean, taking this case mean anything to-"

"I'm only giving you this case because you're the only officer willing to take it who isn't busy or has already taken their holiday leave." He told her, prepared to answer this question. "Contact me for any information you come across. This is much different from murder. These girls' lives are on the line."

Charlotte nodded, a serious feature held as she left.

"Trafficking?" Loki asked, as they made their way to the front desk.

"Sex trafficking. It's when people take women and sell them for sex. Pretty much a sex slave." Charlotte explained.

Charlotte frowned, flipping through papers and tucking some under her arm. They approached the front desk, placing them onto the surface before they could collapse onto the floor. "Get me a ride." She told the officer at the front.

The female blonde turned, she grimaced. "Oh, Lane. Sorry, no can do."

Her eyes shot up, a frown deep in her features. "Come again?"

The blonde shook her head. "Sargent's orders. He said, 'if you want a car, use the one you got'." The look caused her to shrug. "His words, not mine."

Charlotte groaned and gathered the papers, snatching the few from Loki and putting them into the folder. "Thanks." She spat and marched out, Loki in tow.

"You own a vehicle?" He asked, keeping in pace with her stride down the pavement. "Where do you keep it?"

It wasn't until they stopped at a crossing that she released a sigh to answer. "I keep it in the garage, it's over at Jack's apartment."

"Why there?" Loki asked.

Charlotte gave a chortle. "Did you see a garage door anywhere when Jack toured the apartment with you?"

If Loki knew what a garage door was, he'd answer. He did remember Jack mentioning if need of any vehicle assistance, to contact him.

The walk felt short as they got back to Old City, approaching their apartment. "I'm gonna get changed out of the uniform" Charlotte told Loki, as she approached the door. "Just let Jack know I need my car."

Loki was handed the folder and continued down toward Jack's apartment. It was as lavish or large as theirs though Loki assumed it could be bigger inside. He had only been at the door, the inside was mostly a dark scrappy living room and a barely lit kitchen in the back. Some stairs indicated more rooms above, just unknown how many.

As he rapped his knuckles on the worn out wooden door, he awaited for the response of the landlord. When a minute passed with no response, Loki knocked again. Was Jack out at this moment? He stepped back, spotting lights on the upper floor, possibly the television. No, he knocked harder a third time.

Sounds of thuds, things falling and crashing were heard inside. A curse, then the sound of locks clicked came from the other side before peeking open. Jack's eyes peered out, he sighed and opened the door.

"Oh, hey, Loki." He greeted, rubbing his chin and shutting the door behind him. He fixed his sweater and pants, looking a bit disheveled.

"Was I interrupting something?" Loki asked, assuming he had a 'friend' over.

"Hm? No! No, no." Jack sniffled and fixed his hair, "I got home late last night from a friend's party. Didn't realize the time- Anyway!" He cleared his throat and leaned back on his door. "Need something?"

Loki adjusted his wool coat collar, not caring to know any details of this party. "Charlotte requested she have her car and that you have possession of it?"

Jack frowned for a moment, then nodded with an 'oh' on his lips. "Man, she wants it now? Hasn't touched that thing in a year. She planning on selling it?"

"The Sergeant has denied us using a police vehicle, so she's chosen to use her own." Loki explained. "Where is your garage?"

Jack walked past Loki, motioning he followed. The two men walked down a wide pavement between Jack's apartment and the building to its left. Also known as a driveway, when a side bolted to the building read 'PRIVATE DRIVEWAY! CARS WILL BE TOWED!'.

"What I lack in a good apartment, I make up in a well sized hidden garage." He joked. Though when no amused reaction came from Loki, he gave a cough and continued leading him to the garage.

The door was very wide and looked to possibly consist of two cars. He went to the keypad on the side and punched in a four digit code. The rumble of the electric motor inside shook the door and it rose up in a trembling manner. Clearly the age of the technology was shown, yet Jack didn't seem to be bothered by it. He entered and switched the lights on revealing an aged relic.

Loki noticed right away this vehicle was different from others driven around the city. It wasn't curved, smooth, nor shiny. Looking very square and matte like, he approached it to see it held no headlights and it was extremely lower. Near towered over the car, Loki peered in curiosity if he could fit into it.

Jack took the keys hanging off the hook by a crooked cupboard. "It's old, I know. Don't find these babies riding around much in the city."

"Does it work?" Loki asked, only to have Jack toss the keys to him that he caught with ease.

"It better."

The two men were greeted by Charlotte. Her hair was still a tad damp, but she looked refreshed finally having washed it. She wore her long coat with a long sleeve black shirt and jeans, her sneakers instead of standard shoes. Charlotte looked more comfortable out of uniform, Loki assumed. She looked better too.

Jack suddenly snapped to attention, then checked his phone. "Sorry, sorry! A bid just came up, gotta check the winner and pack up the prize!" Then Jack scurried off back into his apartment.

"Glad to see it's in good shape." She commented, a smirk curling up as she held her hands out for the keys at Loki.

He complied, dropping them gingerly into her palm. Charlotte walked over to the driver's side, the door opened with a hinge of a squeak and she climbed in. Once the engine revved, it started and roared loudly, jolting Loki from it. She revved it more, grinning wider and wider as if a racer in the starting pits.

"Yes!" She cheered and slammed her door, motioning for Loki. "Get in, we need to get this case under way."

Loki reluctantly got into the passenger side, tossing the folder onto the plastic dark dashboard. The inside looked even older and held a weird scent, one at gas stations. The dashboard in front of Charlotte was not of any normal speedometer with dials or electric screens. Instead, it showed hill-like meters that ranged from green at the bottom to yellow on the hill top to red at the end. They all lit up when she revved again, nodding to Loki who gave her a questioning look.

"This is the only time I can enjoy getting the RPMs up. Because most of the time driving through this city, it's like going to a funeral." She explained, putting it into drive.

Charlotte carefully drove the car out of the garage, she put it in park and got out to put in a code to shut the door. Once back in, she slowly drove towards the end of the driveway. Loki reached for the folder and opened it to review the papers, when the sudden screeching of tires and the momentum force pushed him back against the worn leather seat made him drop the papers to the floor. The car accelerated and sped into a sharp right turn into the road before slamming the breaks at a red light two blocks later. Loki clutched his chest as the other hand was pressing onto the glove compartment door. Not having the time to set his seat belt, he nearly kissed the dashboard. It didn't help that heavy laughter was emanating from his driver.

"You're face!" Charlotte cackled, slamming her hand on the wheel. "It was like a cat being thrown off a bed!"

"A warning would have sufficed!" Loki barked, glaring at her and leaned down to gather the papers.

"Nah," She shook her head, grinning like a child. "That was funnier."

"Do you wish for it and have us succumb to an accident?" He questioned. "Just the like earlier today?"

Charlotte rolled her eyes, easing on the gas as the light turned green. "Relax, that was a one time deal." Loki tensed at first, but soon eased when traffic lined up to the calm driving. "The accidents that usually happen here are drivers making their own drive thrus into buildings."

"Doesn't give me the confidence you won't do the same." He grumbled, earning a scoff from her.

She waved a free hand at him. As Loki read the report of the missing people, he frowned. "How often do people go missing in the city?"

"Honestly, not that common." Loki looked at her. "It's more likely to happen in rural areas. Robberies, hate crime, and gun shootings are more city territory."

Loki hummed, as the car came parked at the side of the curb. "The latest victim is Jenny Dans, she was last seen this building." He pointed to the one they were parked in front of. "Her girlfriend of four years hadn't seen her return home and reported her missing."

Charlotte leaned over to see through Loki's window at the building. The Striped Spoon was not anything like the bar from the last case. The sign above the building with a zebra wearing a thong and while straddling a spoon suggested enough for them. They could only imagine the colors that lit the street at night, Charlotte preferred not to find out if the zebra was an animated neon to grind the spoon.

Charlotte took a paper from the folder reading more of Jenny. "She's from New Jersey, but works here over the bridge. Lives with her father in Collingswood."

"Has he been informed of her disappearance?" Loki asked.

She handed him the paper and looked at the building once more. "I'm sure the Boss is handling that. He'll inform us from his side for any additional information." She unbuckled her seat and turned the car off. "Inside we go."

Loki closed the folder and tossed it onto the dashboard, following Charlotte inside. The decor of the bar mostly hung on black and white stripes with purples and pinks. Because of the lack of windows, it was dark inside, so everything was lit on those two colors, with zebra striped flooring. Charlotte led the way to the large main room where a woman was at the front desk doing paperwork. She wore normal clothing, a tank top, some facial piercings and her hair was guessed to be blue, though the purple hue made it questionable.

Seeing two guests, she paused and greeted them. Though the expression showed she could care less. "Welcome to the Striped Spoon, are you here to request a special party room or audition?" Her voice was graveled and monotone, proving her facial features correct.

"Audition?" Loki questioned.

Charlotte shook her head, "We're here to ask about someone who went missing recently, they were last seen here." she explained, pulling a photo up for the girl to see. "Her name is Jenny Dans."

The woman looked over the photo and handed it back without a care. "Yeah, she works here a few nights a week. Chipper bitch."

Loki's brows shot up at the comment as Charlotte took the photo. "I assume you don't get along?" He inquired.

The woman scoffed, folding her arms. "You 'assume' right. Jen always got all the attention for her figure and for her hard work. She was plucked to be a show stopper from the beginning. Meanwhile, I've been stuck at the front desk for two years."

"How long has she worked here?" Charlotte asked.

"I think, like, a year?" She figured, making Charlotte's patience waver. "If she's 'missing' why not check out her lesbo girlfriend's place?"

"Excuse me?" Charlotte narrowed her eyes.

"Oh, you didn't know? Yeah, she's super gay." The girl laughed. "Never shuts up about how they can't get married and sit-"

Charlotte slammed a hand onto the podium. "I don't care what she is, you watch your mouth in front of me or you'll see yourself with a hate crime."

She scoffed, "Whatever." the girl pointed her thumb toward a door to the left. "Go ask my boss, Taylor. He'd know more."

Charlotte marched past her, giving her a glare as Loki silently followed once more. "Is that a crude word?"

"Lesbo? Oh yeah, derogatory word for Lesbians." She stopped at the door and looked to him. "I knew some people in college who were gay or bisexual. I support that, so hearing bigot shit like that infuriates me."

Loki gave a smile. "Well, glad to have your support." He told, her brows rising. "I've played the other team once or twice."

"Hm, awesome." She told, opening the door where the two were greeted with… naked men. Naked, fit, flexing, provocative, and… Naked! "Oh!" She covered her eyes immediately, and turned her back toward the men.

"Ah, it's a changing room." Loki informed, not phased one bit.

Charlotte growled, glaring under her hands. "Bitch did that on purpose."

The men paused, not making a move to cover their genitals, others getting changed into everyday wear. "Uh, can we help you?"

Loki cleared his throat, taking the photo from Charlotte's grasp between her fingers. "Allow me to take this." He turned to the men. "Hello, gentlemen. We're investigating the disappearance of Jenny Dans, do you know her?" He asked, showing the photo.

The six men instantly walked over, crowding the two at the door. Charlotte hid behind Loki, her face into his back too stunned to leave. He stole a grin at her predicament. She couldn't let the bitch see her leave the room as flustered as she was, see how she fooled her. Charlotte kept her ground, letting Loki take over, for once.

"Jenny went missing?" One buff blonde asked, Loki nodded as the men looked over the photo.

"Does Charlie know?" A brunette asked. "Her girlfriend."

"She's the one who made the report." Loki answered. "She was last seen here, never making it back to her girlfriend's apartment."

"Has, uh, she acted weird or off before the day she went missing?" Charlotte asked over Loki's shoulder, eyes still covered.

The men shrugged and shook their heads. "If anything, she's been pretty happy." One blond told

"She was staying with Charlie for a week, to celebrate their four year anniversary. Then go back home Wednesday to her usual travel to and from here." Another with a handlebar mustache added.

"What does Jenny do here?" Loki inquired, earning a small fist into his shoulder blade. "What?"

"Isn't it obvious?" The mustached man asked, Loki raised a brow.

Charlotte raised a hand, "Sorry, he's not from here. Guess they don't have strip clubs in Norway."

They all went "Ahh!" at that, some grinning at the idea of a sweet summer child in their mitts. "It's a real show here! We got men and women, Jenny being the top of all the ladies here."

"So she was the elite?" Loki asked.

A blond mullet man folded his arms, towel tightly around his built waist. "She was quick to rise up, started as a waitress, went in for a dancing audition and was a hit since night one."

"Once again, this 'dancing' is…?" Loki questioned again, earning another hit to his back. He turned to her, "What is it?" he hissed.

"Do you really not know what a strip club is?" She whispered, peeking through her fingers to only see his face. "It's where people watch men and women dance and strip their clothes for money."

"Oh, is that all?" Loki chuckled, Charlotte glared when he brushed the occupation aside. He turned back to the men, "Where are the women so this fine bashful one," he motioned toward Charlotte who hit him a third time. "Can question them?"

"On the other side of the bar, can't miss it. It's the pink door, ours is purple." The blond answered.

"Thank you! Thanks, sirs, er, sorry! I'll go ask the ladies, okay! Loki, I'll be there if you need me!" She rushed out, leaving Loki to question the men.

Across the way, she sped walk toward the pink door, knocking first. The door opened as a beautiful tall redhead woman peeked out. "Oh, hello. Are you new?"

"No! No, Ahem. Sorry, I'm with the police investigating the disappearance of Jenny Dans." She explained.

The red head gasped, turning back to the room. "Girls, it's true! She is missing!"

She opened the door, allowing Charlotte in. About four women were about the room, the redhead, two black girls and an Asian. They were all well built, tiny, tall, and beautiful, dressed in everyday clothing or trying on some revealing dance outfits.

Charlotte was a little less uncomfortable, with no male genitalia flopping about. Still, being around naked people in general was enough to tremble her easement. The girls bombarded her with questions about Jenny, near crowding her at the door like the men had with her and Loki.

"Please, please, sorry! Some room, I'm… I'm a bit claustrophobic." She tried to tell, making them apologize and give her the proper space needed. "T-Thank you."

Charlotte cleared her throat and got her papers out. "According to reports by her girlfriend, she was last seen leaving her shift here last night. Now, there have been reports of women being taken in the past week."

"What happened to those girls?" The tall redhead asked.

"We're still figuring that out. Other officers are questioning the families of the missing girls. We're starting here for Jenny, as it was the last time anyone had seen her." Charlotte got out a small notebook with a pen, ready to take down anything. "How was Charlotte the night she was taken?"

The girls looked to one another, a curvy black girl raised her hand. "Jenny was pretty excited. She was celebrating her four year relationship with Charlie this week."

"Anything out of character about her?"

"Nothing really, just a normal evening. Men and women came in, watched me and Jenny dance along with two of the other men then we finished our shift." She explained.

Charlotte noted that down, nodding. "Has anyone been bothering her, possible stalker or such?"

The second black girl, much meatier, shook her head. "Jenny never has problems with customers. Our boss Tylar makes sure of it." She told, folding her arms.

"I see." Charlotte felt nothing leading it up, maybe Loki had something from the men. Then she remembered. "That girl, at the front desk. She doesn't like Jenny, does she?"

The girls instantly went from concern to animosity. "Ugh, you mean Sadie? We all hate her." The brunette snarled.

The redhead explained, "She only works here because she's Tylar's sister-in-law. It's also why she's up at the front and never dancing." she told her.

Charlotte nodded, tapping the end of her pen on her notebook. "Yeah, she mentioned how Jenny got a spot right away while she's stuck up there."

The brunette stood and rolled her eyes, walking over to the mirror to check if her string lace brassiere was a good fit on her thin figure. "She should be lucky to even be here." She shimmed the cups over her breasts, making Charlotte look down at her notebook. "This is a top contender place, even at the front desk is an important place. Especially for our VIPs."

Charlotte frowned, "VIPs?" she asked.

The red head took a seat, nodding. "People who request a private room. We do a few lap dances, grinding, and a show of our bodies." She purred, crossing her legs at the knees.

Charlotte chewed her lip in thought. "Does Jenny ever get any VIPs?"

"Rarely. Workers in relationships don't favor VIPS, but she'll cover for me a few times." The brunette told, walking over to the mirror to adjust her makeup.

"Did she happen to have any VIPs recently?" Charlotte asked, her pen at the ready.

The brunette paused from applying her lipstick, growing in thought. "...In fact, she did. Two nights ago."

"Can I have the person's information? I should question them." Charlotte told.

The girls looked to one another, "That's up to Tylar. But, he's not here so it's up to-"

"Sadie."

Sadie. Charlotte sighed, of course it wasn't going to be that easy. "Thanks girls, and please inform me if you have any information or questions." She told, handing her card.

The redhead took it, "Please find, Jenny. She's a good girl. Never would get into any trouble." she pleaded.

"I'll do my best." Charlotte told sincerely, leaving the room as Loki waited just outside the door. "How'd it go?"

"Nothing worth pursuing." He told with a shrug. "Only viable information was her struggling with her relationship."

Charlotte frowned, "Really? The girls told me she's been pretty content."

"Not what the gentlemen informed me. Apparently it's illegal for same sex marriage?" He inquired.

She nodded, folding her arms. "Yeah, it's illegal in the state of Pennsevlynia for two men or two women to get married." Charlotte informed. "It's only legal in California, I think. I don't believe that's involved. If they wanted to, Charlie and Jenny could've gone to California, gotten married, and come right back."

"So then, where do we go from here?" Loki asked.

"The women mentioned that certain VIPs get private sessions with the workers." Charlotte told, eyeing Sadie across the room at the front desk. "But we need to get it from Sadie."

Loki followed her gaze, he grinned with a wicked idea. "Allow me." He adjusted the labels of his coat and sauntered over to the bored woman.

Charlotte leaned against the wall, watching as he approached her, greeting her in a kind gentlemanly manner. He mentioned the VIP list, making Sadie look across the way at Charlotte sending a smirk. A smirk that screamed 'oh, need something'. The cocky bitch just rolled her eyes at Loki's request, looking back down to her phone. Said man glanced at Charlotte before leaning over the desk and placing a hand on hers. Charlotte frowned at his advances, was he going to try and seduce the list out of her.

Sadie said something of a scowl, before his other hand cupped her cheek. Charlotte may have seen things, but she swore she saw a hint of something on Loki's hand by her face, a hint of… green? Sadie froze, as if something he said had stunned her and her expression within seconds changed from uncaring to suddenly fearful. What did he say to her?

Loki released his hands from her as she stepped back and brought a booklet up from behind the desk, pleasing Loki and shocking Charlotte. He nodded and bowed his head, returning to Charlotte to hand the book to her with a satisfied grin.

"VIP list accessed." He told, letting her take the book as she held a dumbfounded look. He raised a brow, "Something amiss?"

"...Uh, yeah. Erm, how did you get her to-"

"Simple little leverage." He told.

"Such as?"

Loki chuckled, pocketing his hands. "Such as informing Tylar of her taking money from the safe when he's away." Charlotte's jaw dropped, he made a sweeping motion from her to Sadie. "Feel free to arrest her, if you wish."

Charlotte blinked, fixing her hinged jaw. "How… How could you possibly know that?"

"Ah, the kind men informed me of seeing her commit the offense." He informed, hoping to see an eager arrest on the wench.

Charlotte eyed the woman for a moment, but shook her head and opened the book, flipping the pages for the most recent appointment with Jenny. Loki watched as she scanned each one, then stopped and slammed her finger onto the page.

"Two days ago, Jenny met with a Mr. Faux. More or less a fake name." She muttered.

Loki sighed, "Then how do we-"

"He's coming back here tonight." She told, stopping Loki's complaint. "He's meeting with Emery." Charlotte chewed her lip. "She said Jenny doesn't do VIPs for being in a relationship, takes hers from time to time."

Loki shifted his stance, "So, we stake out?" he asked.

Charlotte shut the book, "Stake out; one of us will be inside watching while the other is back out outside." she explained.

"Should we not both be inside the club?" He inquired.

Charlotte shook her head, hand on her hip. "Might be too obvious if we're both looking around instead of watching the show of dancers."

"Then I shall take the outside." He offered.

She gave him a look. "What? Why?"

He returned a look. "Why should I be here?" He looked around the place with disgust. "To have every particle of a man's sweat come within three feet of contact with me as they gorge on the festivities of a dancing exposed woman?"

Charlotte stared at him impassively. "Are you serious?"

Loki rebuffed her question. "You won't be distracted judging by your flustered demeanor here." She felt her cheeks grow warm at the accusation. "You can inform me when this Mr. Faux arrives, then we can besiege the man."

Charlotte didn't want to admit it, but Loki was right.

Flashes of purples and pink lights burned the retinas while loud music blasted out the ear drums. Charlotte was not a club person, party girl, or even that outgoing. Standing behind a crowd of cheering horny women as a man in an assless chaps dances on a pole was beyond out of her element. Her eyes never neared the man, though it wandered the room and where the VIP doors could be seen near the back.

According to Emery, they go to the front desk and head straight to the room. So far, no one has stepped foot near that back room. Charlotte was beginning to wonder if this Mr. Faux was going to be a no show.

Charlotte moved toward the bathrooms, entering the ladies room and checking if it was empty. When clear, she pulled her cell phone out and called Loki, waiting a few seconds before he answered as she entered one of the stalls.

"Has he arrived?" He asked.

"No, not a soul has walked toward that room." She told, leaning back against the stall door. then stood, questioning its sanitation. "It's only been two hours since opening, we might be waiting a while."

A hum could be heard. "Having a description of this man would be helpful." He told.

"We're lucky enough to get the damn book from Sadie, unless you want to sleep with her for it?" Charlotte teased.

An abhorred groan came through. "I have better tastes than that."

"Besides, it's their policy to not give descriptions of their VIPs." Charlotte told, Loki huffed into the phone. "Any word from the other victim's family?" She asked.

"Ah, yes. I did receive a text. When the two women were abducted, they were also last seen here at the same club." He informed. "That information would've been helpful hours ago."

Charlotte frowned, her eyes narrowing at the gray tile floor. "Three victims all from the same club, be it workers or customers." She muttered in thought. "Keep an eye out for anyone suspicious, at this point it really could be anyone."

"Understood."

Charlotte hung up, and sighed, rubbing the side of her face. It was going to be a long night. She then heard the bathroom door open and the clicking of heels enter. Charlotte checked her watch when she heard them gossiping at the sink, fixing makeup and hair.

"I'm telling you, becoming VIPs will get us a good room with a guy." One said, eager and drunk.

"Right, I'm not paying sixty bucks just to have some gay guy grind my lap when I want to grind him deeper." She scowled.

Charlotte inwardly groaned, turning to open the latch and leave. She didn't need to hear this garbage.

"I would've gone for Emery, that cute brunette, but she's not here." That made Charlotte pause her exit.

The other girl scoffed, "She was just on stage an hour ago." she told.

"Yeah, but when I asked about her on the VIP list, it said she was already meeting someone tonight." She told.

The other hummed uncaringly. "Well, there's always that tall red head." Her friend offered.

Charlotte got her phone back out, sending a heated text to Loki.

Emery's gone to the VIP room.

Charlotte rushed out of the stall and bathroom, spooking the girls. She was met with hot air and loud music once more, her eyes shooting towards the VIP. Not waiting for Loki, she went down the hall where the door leading to the special room was held. 'VIP' do NOT disturb' was read on the door. Charlotte tried to press her ear to the door to find a hint of anyone in there, but the music was too loud to even hear her own heart beat. She tested the door knob, finding it unlocked and pushed to open it.

Expecting one or two people in the room, she found the room empty. In fact, it was untouched. The lights were lit but nothing gave a sign that someone was here before. The chairs were clean velvet and the pole was freshly polished. Not even a single footprint in the carpet could be found.

Loki joined her, having jogged into the building and through the crowd. "Where..?"

"Somethings not right." She turned to Loki, "I heard some girls in the bathroom say Emery went with her VIP guest. That's what they were told by…" Charlotte scowled. "Sadie."

Pushing past Loki, Charlotte left the hall and marched toward the front desk where some guests were asking about the VIP prices. She slammed her hand onto the desk, Sadie was unphased looking up.

"Where's Emery?"

"...In the VIP room." She answered, as if it was obvious.

Loki settled up beside Charlotte. "No one is in there, where did she go?"

Sadie rolled her eyes, "Might be outside having a smoke." she suggested.

Charlotte whipped to Loki. "I'll check the front, take the back."

The two separated as Loki charged through the backdoor greeted by cold air of the dimly lit alley. One end was a gain link fence, the other led around toward the front. Holding his hand up, Loki let a glow of green light illuminate the alley way, not a person in sight. His eyes scanned the filthy cement, trying to find any sign of someone here. What he did find was a single bright red platform shoe. He knelt down and inspected it, the strap was broken and some scuffed could be found on the side.

The god sighed, extinguishing the light as Charlotte arrived at the door. She saw the shoe and held the same fallen expression when she met Loki's gaze.

"Emery's been taken."

Sorry for a short chapter, still noting down this story. Rarely do I go off the cuff unless it's in betweens like /Auburn Sky/Fix It or small fillers like Lone Stars. Really hope you guys are enjoying it so far!
