Pokémon: Pallet Town heroes

Hey, I'm back, I have an outline for this arc. The end of this very small arc is this chapter. I'll be moderating three battles. Well, two battles and a warzone. I will, hopefully, divide it into four parts. Sabrina's, Green's, Ash's, and the conclusion. I don't have much to say either way. Let's get to the Chapter!

I don't own anything. Just the "story" Also I'm sorry.

This took way too long. I might just do only 5k words later chapters. I got burnt out and didn't write for a few days.

For the two reviews that I got about Larvitar. Why not Green? Why Ash? Remember This is about all four. I do have a bias with Green and Ash, that's because I find them more interesting, but I still want the other two to have their moments as well. I chose Pikachu for Ash because I like Pikachu. Plus, it isn't just going to be Pikachu.

Also, Green was missing another Pokemon. She's the only one that I didn't have a solid plan of a team for. So, why not Pokemon like Larvitar. And, why would it be better? That's a genuine question. Why would giving Larvitar to Ash be better?

I also did some building on some of the relationships between Green and Larvitar in chapter 3. Same with Ash and Pikachu. I'm not going to ignore that part for something else. So, I'm sorry. I know a Larvitar would be cool for Ash to have, but I think it would be cooler if Green got it instead.

No hate. I'm not grilling you. This is just how I wanted my story to be. Somethings change and somethings don't.

Chapter 4: Step 1.4 to 1.6

Kadabra ducked and vanished from any attacks Houndoom did. He was telepathically communicating with Sabrina. He was told not to exactly harm the 'enemies'. Why didn't she just let them go? They didn't have to fight. They were on the same side, weren't they? What could they possibly get out of this conflict?

Oh right, because Sabrina finds this fun. Right.

"Dark pulse! Rend them!"

"Kadabra, you know what to do."

Yep, Sabrina finds this fun. This was going to hurt.

As Dark Pulse flew towards Kadabra, he stood still as stone. He closed his eyes bracing and readying for the attack. He prepared his next move.

Dark Pulse slammed into him. Dust shot out from the attack and his body. The dust waved behind, off of his body and the ground around him.

Houndoom was about to pounce onto the Psychic Pokemon only to not move. Houndoom yelped as he was hoisted up into the air.

Kadabra had two runic circles in front of his eyes. If you look closely into the Runic circles. Inside the circles, weren't magical, but algorithms. Houndoom tried moving, snarling, or anything that would get him out of this predicament.

"That hurt. Next is your turn." Houndoom tried to growl but was muzzled. Kadabra would have fun with this.

"Kadabra, Psychic." Kadabra was delighted.

Now begun the absolute, tossing and throwing of the Dark-type. He was slammed into trees, rocks, dragged through the dirt.

Kadabra swiped his spoon left to right sparking psychic energy. Psycho Cut.

Houndoom's face met the cut first. That dust cloud that Kadabra got, he sent it back.

Houndoom didn't yelp nor whimper. He growled and snarled at each attacked he took. Soon enough, with enough twisting and getting used to it. He sprung free of Miracle's eye. His chest and neck swelled. Little bits of flames escaped his mouth. With a roar, he let out the flaming ball.

"Houndoom! Fire Blast! The ball escaped his lips before stopping a bit in front of him and expanding. It turned into the kanji for fire and zoomed towards Kadabra. A barrier appeared before him, blocking out the fire.

Jumping into the explosion and towards him was Houndoom. He bit one of Kadabra's hands and brought down his hind leg onto Kadara's neck. Crushing the ground beneath him and letting rocks fly.

Kadabra teleported out of there before his windpipe got crushed any further.

"Hmmm... Future sight." Kadabra looked into the millions of futures and summoned his psychic abilities. Placing them where Sabrina specifically told him to place... Now they play the waiting game.

Sierra, surprisingly, didn't say anything. Instead, she tilted her head and looked at Sabrina. It looked like she was trying to decipher Sabrina. A sadistic woman with a mean streak that developed in many ways. It wouldn't surprise her if Sabrina took pleasure in being the executioner. She had to ask her something.

"Let us go."

"What? Begging for your life?"

"No, there is no reason for this operation to be a complete failure. So why not let us go?"

"You don't think I wouldn't do this for my own enjoyment."

"I know you like being sadistic, but that doesn't take priority over Giovanni."

"..."

"Gotcha. We battled for a little bit, so that's to ease everyone on the other side to give you a pass. They should trust you after this. Giovanni, if what you said was true, wouldn't hold it against you."

"... I guess you're correct. And why this new attitude?"

"What? Me being calm? Tch. I know when to think and decide. That won't stop me from raining pain on those who annoy me." Sierra scoffed at Sabrina. They had been training together since they first joined Team Rocket.

"So you have more cages lying about?"

"Of course, we don't keep the strongest ones near the rest of the specimen."

"So you should have an exit already. Then best you make haste. Lest you attack me with my back turn."

"Always sadistic, always paranoid. Not everyone is out to get you. Well, maybe some people are."

"Just go. Before I crush your mind."

Houndoom growled at that threat. Kadabra got ready to intercept. Sierra simply chuckled and beckoned Houndoom. He came to her side, and they both left the duo to their lonesome. Sierra got confirmation in her earpiece that they were able to extract most of the single caged Pokemon. She was also notified that one was let out of her cage.

Oh well, one loss wasn't going to hurt them.

Sabrina however, was miffed at Sierra's last sentence. You had to be paranoid about this job. Anything could go wrong at any moment. Kadabra looked at her, she looked like she was actually talking to someone else.

Sabrina scoffed at the notion that Sierra put out. She knew that not everyone is out to get her. Of course, she knew. It's just that, you can't trust everyone you meet. There had to be some tension when you meet someone.

Most people would drop you the second they were not on the winning side. Most people had another reason to be with you other than simply like you. Not one person was truly altruistic or simple-minded.

Some kids seemed to be like that, but even Ash had some thoughts. Especially about trusting others, right?

She shook her head, she had to make an appearance and help. Gain their trust.

Green ducked when a Pidgeot swooped to try and pick her up. Blasty bit the bird's right-wing. He held on while trying to spin like a Krookadile. Pidgeot being a lot stronger, simply powered on. He dived again raking Blasty through the dirt. Surprisingly, the blue creature held on. Tough little bastard. The bird felt rocks tumbling on his back.

He threw Blasty off of his wing and turned behind him facing the perpetrator. His eyes only saw rocks being pelted toward him. With no time to help himself, he took it. He flew upwards through the dust that covered his body. He saw a spiky green creature glaring up at him.

Larvitar stomped on the ground causing a small rock pillar to appear by his side.

He slammed the pillar with his tiny arm, flinging rocks at Pidgeot. Pidgeot Deftly dodged the attack before screeching organizing the bird Pokemon.

Multiple Pidgeotto's and Pidgeot's started gathering high up. None would disturb their formation.

"Well, they're going to attack as planned." Well, one person would disturb their plan.

Blasty got up rubbing his face, he growled up at the many birds. Green made sure that every Pokemon would be used to their fullest.

"Blasty, Waterfall." Blasty covered the area around their allies and themselves with water that sprouted from the Earth.

"Larvitar, Digletts, Dugtrios, get ready." Larvitar Stomped again making more rock pillars.

Digletts and Dugtrios came up from their holes and started shoveling rocks to be flung at their adversaries.

Green had the Beedrills and Butterfree's deal with the land Pokemon. She knew the land Pokemon would target the ground and rock types since they would be the most trouble.

She also knew the flying types would target the bug types, so they had to make a nuisance of themselves to divert the attention. Make them seem bigger than they actually are.

Her head perked up as she heard the approaching war cries of the birds. That awful high pitched screaming. Why would anyone want to handle birds?

The V-formation the birds took easily broke through the Waterfall. They met the onslaught of Rock Slides, Rock Tombs, and Ancient Power.

Soon the V-formation that they used was turned against them. They were target practice for the ground and rock types. The leader screeched halting his advance. Letting his comrades take the hit for him.

Green felt euphoric. She takes it back, the screeching of the birds sounded wonderful. Hearing the pained whimpering and screeches blessed her ears.

She soon notices the Pidgeot. With a smug smile, she taunted him with a 'bring it on' gesture.

Pidgeot veins bulged on his head. So, this was how she was going to play? Kicking a Pokemon while they're down?

Both Larvitar and Blasty were on each of her sides, right and left respectively. Both were angry, both were glaring at him.

Pidgeot swooped down and plunged; Blasty and Larvitar jumped to meet him.

Blasty opened his jaw, closing in with a Bite. Larvitar copied him doing it trying to get the other wing.

As Pidgeot got closer, he lit aflame with a blue smoldering fire. Green widen her eyes. Brave Bird. Goddamn Brave Bird. She short-hopped back. She was too late to get far enough.

Crossing her arms, she shielded herself from most of the explosion. Her body was shot down to the ground by the shockwave. Inertia took over as she reverses somersaulted and rolled to a tree. Her body slammed into it.

She was about to scream, but immediately ducked and crawled to her left side as a Nidoqueen slammed her arm where Green's head was. The tree cleanly snapped in half.

Gulping for air, she got up and turned to face the Nidoqueen. She couldn't outrun the Pokemon. All the Pokemon on their side were dealing with most of the hoard. Ths Nidoqueen probably got past them.

She readied her Pokedex with the flash on. She lowered herself and tensed up.

Nidoqueen roared as she lunged towards Green. Bringing back her arm to slam it into the human girl. A sudden bright flash of white blinded her eyes. Her roar wavered as she hesitated and stutter-step. Green got out of the way and ran towards where Blasty landed.

"Blasty! Heeeelp! Ice Punch!" Blasty, who was rubbing his eyes and head, perked up at the distressed call. He turned and ran towards Green and passed her.

Nidoqueen heard fast stomping coming closer. Still blinded by the light she turned to where she heard it and wildly swung.

With no eyesight, being desperate, and swinging wildly, Blast easily ducked under the punch, Coating his right fist with ice. He uppercuts Nidoqueen in her shell made her brain ricochet, her right leg went up. Blasty's feet were still planted onto the ground as he coated his left fist and delivered a straight punch.

Now feeling two icey fists meet her jaw and stomach, her body left the ground and flew back towards the broken tree.

As the ice began to encase her body, she remembered all the fighting, all the attacks she racked up. The stingers, the rocks, the winds. She remembers her king. The one she swore fealty to. Non-stop work. Suppression after suppression of the groups. She wanted to sleep. The king was using them. She didn't want to believe it. It hurt her.

That tyrant was going to swallow them whole.

"*Whew*. Well, that was quick and slow. Your life really does flash before your eyes."

fff-BOOOM "Larvitar! *ff-boom* *wheeeze*" Green turned around to Larvitars cry. Whatever advantage or lead they had was gone. Larvitar and some flying types were getting manhandled by the Pidgeot.

The ground battle was now even. The Pokemon that flew were dealing with the Pidgeot and a few stragglers. They had no time to deal with the Nidorans and Nidorina's. The diglett's and Dugtrios were even with them. The plan that was concocted by Green was dismantled in just a few minutes, or was it a few seconds?

"Well, damn."

Flying types had a natural advantage over ground types. Those with rock moves were stronger than Flying. It was simple, but she thought that would be enough. She had to set this back on track.

"Hold on Larvitar! We'll save you! But, first. Blasty! Waterfall!" Blasty lifted his right foot before stomping the ground, the ground split open and gushing out came water under the Nidoran's and Nidorina's.

Time for some cleaning up.

Pikachu was running. He looked worryingly around trying to find someone or something. He ran faster. This was not the time to panic, too bad he was panicking.

He wasn't running away. He was looking for his brother.

As he was running, he came back to the humans base. It was utter chaos. He winced as Larvitar was getting battered around by Pidgeot, he felt for the guy. The beedrills and Butterfree's were dealing with the other flying types.

The girl, Green, was helping the Digletts. She was doing a good job at it too.

He then turned to base, a lot of the tents were destroyed. But, way in the back, there were some tents spread far. He ran with purpose. His brother must've been in one of those.

He wasn't thinking straight, but he needed a reason to move. A reason to do anything. There was no reason for Baby Kangaskhan to be in those tents. But with no other explanation for where he would be, he went with it. If he didn't know where his brother was, he wouldn't know what to do with himself.

He didn't know where his mother was, and now he didn't know where his brother was. He can't deal with that.

Getting to the first tent, he sneaked in and saw a singular cage, the bars in the front were scrunched up like paper. The bars had a gaping hole. A Pokemon forced that cage opening. Since there was no sign of his bro-

Wait. He recognized that scent. He sniffed the ground and air around the cage. A lot of the scents were mixed. Humans mostly, but he caught the scent of a Pokemon.

It was familiar, it hit close to home. Kangaskhan. His mother. His head perked up at that. H-he had to find her. He had to find her and his brother.

Pikachu didn't know whether to be elated and dance or be in more panic.

He quickly left the tent before ducking and lowered his entire body to the dirt.

A lady in white was walking with Houndoom. They were directing the humans in black to the forest, out of the attacks. They were abandoning the Pokemon on their side.

Serves them right.

He slowly crawled away and behind them. He wanted to be out of sight, out of mind. As long as the two didn't see him, Pikachu would be fine. Going into another tent, this time there was no cage. Just a couple of machines. He was about to leave when something caught his eye.

A small machine, something even he could use. It had multiple discs on it. From yellow to red, to blue, to even dark. It was fascinating. Pikachu couldn't read the human language, but it had pictures. They were like tutorials.

As he was looking at one particular move that would be useful, he didn't notice the shadow that was in the opening of the tent.

"*Grrrrrrrrrrrwl*" Hearing a guttural growl he quickly pivoted to face the fire. Houndoom had his head down and was staring at him with piercing eyes. He licked his lips.

Pikachu growled back. He was not having it.

"So, we found a rat. Well, this is a fantastic time to blow off some steam." Pikachu noticed the lady in white. Her eyes were just like Houndoom's. Hungry and like a predator. Pikachu tensed at the sight of her.

There was always a feeling of danger when a human looked at a Pokemon like that.

Before she could issue a command Pikachu used the Double team. The solid clones each took off in a different direction.

"Hmph. Sniff the rat out Houndoom." Houndoom sniffed the air. Looking for his particular scent. He noticed that the clones had the scent too. However, there was something off about them. It was the same difference in fact.

He simply chose the one that was the most different out of the scents.

He turned and ran towards the tent with the destroyed tent. Sierra running in tandem with him.

It seemed that the rat was running back to where he came from.

"Houndoom, Nasty Plot." Howling at the command. Flames flickered and dark energy waved off of him. His pupils got smaller. Saliva was coming out of his mouth.

"Snuff him out, Fire Blast." Building up the heat and flames inside of his chest, to his throat, and letting it out with a roar, the Fire zoomed.

Flying towards the tent with the broken cage. It collided with it and burst into flames before immediately snuffing out. It was snuffed out by the giant shockwave that came after.

Creating a sonic boom that shook the trees and everything around it.

Pikachu, who put the tent in between him and the Houndoom, spinning like a ragdoll to the forest edge. He spun like a top toy for kids. His body rammed into a tree, making a dent.

He bit back a scream. He let it out after meeting the ground.

Pikachu propped up his head. The girl, Green, was too far away to help him. The fighting between the two groups was too far away. He wouldn't be getting any help now.

He slowly got up. It felt like ages before he fully got up. Standing on all fours and staring down his enemy. Houndoom seemed to get more excited after he got up. Playing with his food, huh. He'll make him regret that smile.

Sierra smiled wickedly.

"Pi-KA!" Double Team. 5 clones. 4 clones spread out and flanked them. The real one and a clone were in the front. Houndoom glared at the Pikachu curiously. What was he planning on now?

Suddenly, two Pikachu, one on each flank, jumped and let out a ThunderBolt.
"Houndoom dodge it!" Houndoom ran towards the Pikachus in the front. What confused him, was that the Pikachu's didn't actually hit him, they weren't aiming at him.
They were aiming at the ground beside him.

"Houndoom, Fire Blast to the ground! Lift yourself!" Houndoom didn't second guess the command. He sent out a weak Fire Blast that was less fire, and more air.

That air sent him up and out of the deliberate dust cloud. The fire also destroyed the Swift that was aiming for him. So, that was Pikachu's plan. Too bad for him. He had another pair of eyes with him.

Looking towards the two Pikachu in the front, his eyes widen as they weren't on the ground. They were in the air with him. One Pikachu was on top of the other one.

The one on top lightly jumped from the Pikachu's back and on top of him. Onto his neck, after his horns. His horns made a comfy seat for the Pikachu. The other one latched onto the front of his neck. His tiny arm pushing into his windpipe. They were balancing in the air with their tails.

They somehow jumped to where he was going to be in front of them. They were smarter. Or they were lucky. He yelped as they started spinning together.

The Pikachu's spun like a wheel, planning to make Hounddom's face eat dirt. Sierra was too stunned at this sudden event that she had no time to issue a command.

They spun to their original position. Farther from the human, the better. Like a meteor, they crashed into the ground. Sierra had covered her face from the dust and shockwave.

"Hhhhccck-hack!" She heard Houndoom cough. The dust cleared soon and what she saw would surprise her for a long time.

Houndoom's head was on the ground. his body was pointing up. His tail was in the air towards the moon. The Pikachu that was pushing into his windpipe was now pushing down. His tail was anchored into the ground, leveraging his body to put all weight into crushing Houndoom's windpipe. The one on his back neck anchored his body to the ground as well. He was using his weight and body to hold up Houndoom. Ass in the air.

Houndoom didn't know a Pikachu could do this. He didn't even know Double Team could get this solid. His eyesight was getting hazy. This attack was quite lethal.

Submission.

There was some recoil when Pikachu landed it, but it was worth it. Now for one final push.

Pikachu's cheeks sparked, gathering electricity into them. the clone followed suit. Sierra was having none of it. This day was already bad, now it was worse because of some rat. Houndoom was able to sense his trainer's feelings. He knew he was stronger than this Pokemon. He would give him some respect, but he was about to be sorry for not sticking to running. Her orders were absolute.

"Houndoom, Dark Pulse!" Pikachu quickened his charge. But, with Houndoom's Nasty Plot, he was faster. Just before the two Pikachu's could release it, Houndoom unleashed his. The one on his windpipe and mouth made sure to slam Houndoom's mouth shut. That worked in the devil dog's favor. Causing another explosion, which was more controlled than the last one. The one on his throat vanished after the explosion got him. The Pikachu on his back flew off and towards the forest.

Pikachu regained his balance and landed on the ground without much trouble. He froze as he sensed a glare. It wasn't from Houndoom, but his glare did strengthen it. The lady in white's glare was on another level. It was so animalistic and filled with malice. Making even a muscle twitch felt like making a mistake.

He couldn't do anything. So he did what was left. Grit his teeth and stand his ground.

Houndoom accepted that answer as he tensed.

"Bite."

He lunged towards the yellow mouse. His teeth were coated with dark energy. The energy slid off like saliva. It dripped and hung off of his teeth.

Thunderstruck Pikachu as he charged his ThunderBolt.

Pikachu wavered, that thunder wasn't enough power. His body was shutting down. So, he stumbled and fell. With no energy, he gave one last weak ThunderBolt.

That did a non-threatening jolt to Houndoom. He was now on Pikachu, plunging his maw into Pikachu.

If he could.

As he brought down his jaw. His face was smashed and his jaw shut. The fist barreled from his snout through. His body scrunched like paper and folded. That punch was like a hammer as his mouth was afoot in the ground.

His body was then ripped from the ground and thrown to his trainer. Sierra looked at Houndoom before looking up. She was sweating from that 3-second exchange.

Pikachu's vision was blurry, but he saw a brown biped with a yellow belly. His brother in the sack, and red eyes that stared at him with warmth.

Kangaskhan looked back to her capturer and her Pokemon. With that show of force, they would be hesitant to fight her. She was proven correct when the lady in white took a red and white ball and returned the Houndoom.

Kangaskhan snorted as the lady threw a smokeball to the ground, obscuring her vision. She didn't care. She gently picked up her son and put him in her sack. She was about to leave into the forest.

She was stopped when her baby was rapidly slapping her belly. She looked at him and h was looking up with his earnest eyes. She thought about it. From what he told about them, three humans were helping them.

He wanted her to help a certain boy. She thought about saying no, but she saw the way her baby looked at her. She couldn't say no to that face.

So, she went deeper into the forest, to help a human boy.

"Niii!" "Great job Blasty!" Blasty punched and tore through the Nidorino. That was the last one. Many of the Diglett's and Dugtrio were tired and injured. They were also tired. Blasty was breathing hard. Hearing him inhale and exhale was exhausting her too.

Green looked up at the sky battle. Larvitar regained his footing and was on the back of a Fearow. Ugh, another bird. Larvitar continued throwing rocks at Pidgeot while Pidgeot weaved through them while butting heads with the Fearow. They were the only three up there. So, that meant the bug types were beaten.

"Blasty we got to get Pidgeot on the ground." "War-Tortle!" "Wait for the right moment, and Bite him!" Blasty ran towards the sky battle with increased vigor.

He started flanking behind and to the side of Pidgeot. He prepared to spring up.

Pidgeot heard the command, but before he could do anything, a rock was pelted at him. He blocked it with one of his wings before sending an Air Slash. Fearow nimbly dodged it before taunting him.

Fearow squawked an Aerial Ace met its neck. The neck chop was devastating as Fearow passed out, Larvitar yelled as he was sent off the back and was falling.

Pidgeot took the opportunity to dive for him, using Brave Bird. He felt a sharp pain on the left-wing. His eyes widen as he saw Blasty holding onto it with his mouth. He squeezed the wing harder.

Pidgeot cried in pain. He was about to shake him off before an ice-coated fist met his jaw and both of the crash-landed. They both were dragged there on the hard ground. His cry ringing through the area. Blasy still had his mouth on Pidgeot's wing.

As Larvitar came crashing to the ground. He braced for the impact. He felt two arms wrap around him. Due to his momentum, the two went to the ground, rolling in the direction he was headed. He heard Green grunt and hold herself so she didn't yelp in pain.

They stopped rolling after a second. They stayed in that position for a while. After that, he looked up to Green's face. His body was being held by Green. She smiled down at him. Reassuring him. He was going to make along with them. Another crash sound occurred. They both turned their heads to the sound.

Blasty was sent flying to a tree before smashing into it. The tree snapped in two. All they heard was the snapping and the wheezing of the blue Pokemon. Blasty was out like a light.

Green mumbled a curse before getting back up. In tow was Larvitar that did the same. They say Pidgeot slowly gets up from the dirt ole he was in. The ice was still covering his lower jaw.

Green looked at Larvitar. "Are you gonna listen to me?"

"Lar-Larvitar!" "That's good to hear! Let's do this!" Green didn't understand what he just said, but he pumped his arm and that was good enough for her.

"Larvitar, Rock Throw!" Larvitar picked up a rock before it glowed. Like a baseball pitcher, he threw it with might. Soaring through the air. It hit Pidgeot on its lower jaw.

He coughed at the dust and pain. He perked his head up as he heard stomping. He began flapping his wings to try and get off the ground, but the bite brought too much pain. He winced and flinched at it. He soon regretted though. He ducked under a Rock throw before it could hit him again.

The stomping stopped before he heard a small but sharp whistling noise. Larvitar burst through the dust cloud, feet first. His feet collided with Pidgeot body sending it back to the ground. All the air left Pidgeot's body as his jaw opened further from the pain.

Pidgeot laid there, hoping Larvitar would think he was down.

Before he felt more pain coming from a stomp.

Then another.

Another.

Another.

The stamping didn't stomp as Pidgoet screamed in pain.

Stomping Tantrum. Ground types moves usually didn't affect flying types, but there were ways to do it.

Green made sure to tell Larvitar to purposely miss the second Rock Throw. Stamping Tantrum was powered if a moved miss, she didn't know if the Pokedex was telling the truth. that felt artificial, but she went with what it gave her.

She was quick with her Pokedex to look at Larvitar's moves. This would benefit in the long run. Pidgeot's howl's of pains echoed through the surrounding area. It shook most Pokemon to the core, especially if they were on his side.

Had she mentioned that she felt euphoric at this? She did. Well, she was going to say it. "This is the BEST."

That was stopped short by Larvitar flying towards her. She fell on her butt as Larvitar passed her. *thunk*. S-she would've been impaled. She looked back at Pidgeot.

Injured, exhausted, angry, malicious. He looked towards Green with an unholy rage. Green felt the eyes on her. This feeling, she knew this feeling. Like a cornered Meowth. Being looked at like a defective puppet.

In her mind, Pidgeot's face contorted and shifted to a mask. She was frozen with no way to escape. No friends to help her. no one. This feeling that no kid should have to experience. She was alone.

Pidgeot blasted towards her. Wreathed in flame and fury. More demon than an animal. a missile-shaped like death itself paid a visit.

"B-b-Blasty!" Blasty did not answer her. She wasn't thinking clearly. She was too caught up in the moment. Her eyes were solely on the Flaming bird.

She covered herself with her arms. The hopelessness in her stopped her from processing that the lady in red was here.

She could feel the flames of the unholy demon. Moved any closer, and she would be nothing more than cinders.

If.

She peaked an eye. She saw the dull Purple energy around Pidgeot and his flames. She scampered out of the way before turning back. She could see Pidgeot struggling to break free. Due to the Brave Bird and the psychic energy, there was no way.

Pidgeot turned his eyes towards the person. The lady in red had her eyes on him and only him. She was unimpressed. By him, not by anyone else. Such a proud creature, only to be knocked down by a 10-year old. Embarrassing.

*fffffroooooaaaar* He could feel the flames start burning him. He couldn't break free. Was she going to toss him yet?

Pidgeot didn't realize what she was gonna do. Until a few seconds later, he would've thought that she was going to send him to the dirt.

He realized she wasn't going to. Pidgeot began shaking. He began squirming. Rolling. Twisting. Anything.

But for all that he did, he only made it worse. the Flames roared at the energy. It consumes it. Now, it began consuming.

Pidgeot looked back at the smaller girl. His eyes held anger, malice, and death. They now held helplessness, fear, desperation. He was pleading with Green. She was the only one who could stop it.

Green was frozen at the scene. She saw within the eyes of the Pokemon. He was being burned alive. Pidgeot was staring at her. She didn't know what to do. She didn't know if she wanted to do anything. The lady in Red kept ongoing.

Pidgeot screamed.

"Squaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-Pidg-Pidgy-Pidg-Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddddddgggggyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Green didn't move at that scream, didn't feel happy. There was no euphoria or adrenaline. Her eyes got bigger as she continued staring into Pidgeot's eyes. Her iris and pupils shrank.

The fire was close, so close. The body was close. so close.

She saw what the masked man did, those were cruel and vicious. But he had a reason. No matter how flimsy she thought it was. No matter how unjustified it was. No matter means what she despised.

He had a reason for it.

What was the reason for this?

What reason would be given to burn a creature alive?

To have them scream since that was their only choice.

To have them in pain for no other reasoning.

What reason did hurting senselessly a living creature was there?

There was none.

None Green could think of.

There was nothing left. Simply ashes to the wind.

Green stood rooted to the spot she was standing. Looking down. Looking anywhere but there.

The lady in Red walked up to her. Her Kadabra in tow.

"Are you alright?"

"..."

"Green? Green, are you hurt? Let me look."

"..." She held her arms out.

The lady in Red inspected each arm with this precision only a Sociopath would have. Green didn't notice it. She was looking at the ground.

"*whew* Well, you seem to be fine, only a few scrapes. If kids in Pallet are like you, we wouldn't have to worry about Ash."

Green looked to where Blasty was. He was still knocked out. Larvitar was trying to get himself out of the tree. His top fin was in it stubbornly.

Would Ash be fine?

"...Let's go."

"Good. We don't have time to waste. we'll help him."

She didn't look at Sabrina. She didn't know what her face looked like or her body language. She could only go off of her voice. The silk voice was frank and to the point. the voice that she didn't know personally, but felt an older sibling warmth. One teasing and friendly most of the time. One that scolded you out of concern. The tone was playful yet understanding. One that was helpful.

As she listened to it. The more she heard it. The more she understood it. the faster she concluded.

Sabrina wasn't helping them.

"Alright! Don't let up! Attack him with EVERYTHING YOU GOT!" Staravia heeded his command and flew up. Again his wings turned to steel as he zoomed to Nidoking.

Nidoking was about to meet him head-on. Head his was slammed towards the ground as Dodrio's Jump Kick. His brain rattled at such a force.

Dodrio hissed and screeched at Nidoking, making his brain hurt more. His head felt a sharp pain come at him and bring his head up.

Staravia's Steel Wing. Staravia flew up and then used Double Team. Intangible clones, normal, appeared. Up to 14 clones. Staravia and the clones flew erratically. Now Nidoking didn't know where Staravia was among the group.

He swiftly blocked a kick from Dodrio with his purple arm. He socked her with a Poison Jab, hitting her in the body. She stumbled back and a thick purple ooze started coming out of her mouth.

He lowered himself before lunging at Dodrio. His horn glowed a sickly green. Like bug's blood was coated onto his front horn. As he made his leap to plunge it into Dodrio.

Clefairy jumped into his path putting his arms out. Willing energy from his body, he outwardly projected it, blocking Nidoking's path. Protect. Nidoking glared and growled at the pink blob. Clefairy gritted his teeth.

Clefairy heard a swoop from behind him. He looked back and saw that Dodrio jumped up in the air. Fire, ice, and electricity came from each of their mouths. All three heads released it without hesitation onto the tyrant.

The attacks collided with Nidoking, causing a huge explosion and dustcloud. Nidoking's body flew and careened towards trees. The tree's snapped when his body met the bark.

He got back up stumbling and on one knee. He looked up and saw 15 birds flying around him. He grunted and muttered. He charged a Hyper Beam. As Dodrio charged another Tri Attack.

Ash widened his eyes as he saw Nidoking let it out early. Opening his jaw, the Hyper Beam met the ground in front of him. It dug in and let huge rocks and boulders fly into the air and at the Pokemon.

Ash covered his face with his arms as dust and rocks blew towards him. He heard the screeching of Dodrio and some tussling. He quickly ducked as a large object flew towards him. It crashed into the ground digging up some of it. It made a crude dirt path with its body.

He held his breath as he saw the lying brown bird. It was quietly breathing. She craned her three heads suddenly, like a broken doll. Her eyes were red as can be with this malicious contorted sneer. Ash turned away from the sight. He was too frightened by that look.

The loud stomps of Nidoking brought his attention to the matter. The dust rapidly left the area as the tyrant leaped and crashed into the ground in front of him. He wrenched his arm back before plowing it towards Ash. Ash ducked the punch before scrambling out of the way. Nidoking didn't stop there. He followed soon after.

Nidoking roared as he ran after Ash. He wouldn't waste his moves going after a simple human. Each time he got close he lunged and tried to punch Ash into mush.

Ash ducked and weaved through them. Rolling out of the way and to the side. Any movement that separated him and Nidoking was gold. Maybe he should do what Professor Oak said, become an athlete. He yelped as he jumped out of a particularly nasty punch. Nidoking punched down creating a crater. Ash could feel his chest expand when he gulped so much air.

Nidoking lifted his purple arm with a heavy exhale. His malicious glare sent fear into Ash. He gritted his teeth as he glared right back. He got back up. He gave a big inhale and exhales.

Nidoking stomped his way towards the boy. He raised his fist as he got closer. One fell swoop, and it wouldn't even be hard. Humans are fragile, this one might be a bit sturdier than others, but still squishy. He prepared to bring it down upon the trainer. Hearing the panic screeching and the flap of his wings, he let out a malicious sneer at the kid. There was something in his right fist. Didn't matter, it wouldn't affect him.

He ate those words when dust hit his eyes.

He sorely ate those words when the kid latched himself onto his back.

Those words were shoved down his throat as Ash forced his jaw open with a surprising amount of force. Soon a beam made of electricity, ice, and fire came down into his mouth and stomach. He felt his insides explode and let out a guttural grumble. If it wasn't for the drugs and steroids, his mind would be gone. Ash closed his eyes at that, that was too brutal for him. He had man maneuver himself so he wasn't stabbed by his back spikes.

But he had to do something as well. "Staravia! Steel wing!" He heard the angry flapping, then the dive that cut through the air. the attacks brutally met Nidokings lower jaw down to his chest. Nidoking forcefully coughed at the pain. The pain was piling up and it wasn't stopping.

Dodrio let a devastating kick to his stomach.

Staravia sent out another Steel wing.

Clefairy gave a Heal pulse to his allies.

They did all they could to tear him apart. The attacks, the wounds, they were piling up. Each move that collided with his body ricocheted across his body. It rattled everywhere. It hurt everywhere.

Anytime Nidoking tried, Hyper Beam, Superpower, Mega Horn, or Ice Beam. None worked. He couldn't hit any of them. Hyper Beam couldn't be charged, Mega Horn couldn't hit anyone. Ice Beam was the same as Hyper Beam.

SuperPower, however, could do something. He just needed to do it quickly. He closed his jaw forcefully, Ash yelped as he tried to steady himself on Nidokings body. His face smacked against his horn when Nidoking gave a mighty roar.

Nidoking reared back both fists as they glowed red. His arms tore through the air as he slammed them into each other. The shockwave sent Ash flying through the air. Clefairy struggled to stick to the ground. Dodrio, through sheer determination, stuck to the ground. Staravia used Agility to steady himself in the air and save Ash. Grabbing his jacket with his talons he swiftly used the current to fly safely to a far area away from Nidoking.

As the shockwave ceased and the air stopped tearing through the forest. As Ash looked up a lot of the trees were destroyed and many of the stumps were sharp and dangerous. Staravia was right next to him. Nidoking stood tall, with his breath seeable from his exhale. Like a steampunk machine.

Ash huffed and heaved. This was so exhausting. That power was exhilarating. He could only grin at this force of nature. Being scared would do nothing for him. His mind only processed that he needed to win this fight. Help Pikachu. He didn't think about himself.

Ash got up as Staravia stood up as well. Nidoking turned towards the two, with an imperious stare, growled at their defiance. The other two either lost hope or were too blinded.

"Let's do this right. Won't be too hard now, right Staravia?" "Star- Staravia!"

Staravia gave a mighty flap of his wings. Four after-images appeared and flew with him.

"Steel Wing Staravia!" "Starrr!"

As he and his clones flew through the air. Their wings became steel and began flying erratically. One flew faster. Another span. The third veered off course. the fourth hid behind the first and flew fast. Fifth and final one... Sparked alive. That electricity went to his wings and it solidified, making his wings bigger. Which was cool, just Ash's opinion.

Nidoking knew which one was the real one. Only the real one could actually use multiple moves. But, he didn't know clones usually couldn't affect anything. With that run-in with the Pikachu, he only thought that all clones could do damage when they actually couldn't.

The first and fourth were the first to go. Nidoking threw a broken tree into them. *poof* It would've spared them if they were real. the one that span became a drill that will pierce the heavens. He didn't pierce the heavens. He was slammed into the ground by Nidoking. *poof*. The third seemed to be doing a flank. He ended that be a well placed Ice Beam.

He looked around for the real one. He only saw the boy pointing up. Oh. Ash suddenly shot down his arm like he was throwing a baseball.

*fff-booooom* A sonic boom was picked up by Nidoking. Looking up, he saw the bird. He was spinning. Likely veering off course. He dived, moving faster than before.

As he spins like a drill. The electricity that solidified became a razor edge blender. The electricity wrapped around his spinning body. It covered his entire body, and it narrowed at Staravia's beak and expanded at his tail. Like a mini-tornado, He came down on the tyrant with a great speed.

Nidoking crouched down, bending his knees, before slamming his head upward. A sickly green ooze and aura came out of his front horn. Mega Horn.

Soon, they were going to collide. And soon, they were going to create an explosion that was going to consume them.

Only for a space in front of Nidoking's abdomen to open. From space to this reality.

Three white balls shot out and collided against his chest. He screamed at the unexpected pain. Where did that come from? How did it know he was going to be there?

He screamed louder as Staravia slammed his beak in that exact spot. The light was brilliant as it was painful. It blinded Ash as the attack crashed into. Both bodies went to the ground fast. It brought up rocks that crumbled to dust. The ground was upheaved making a large crater. Dust flew from beneath to everywhere.

Ash had to cover his eyes again. He didn't know what happen to Nidoking, but it was game-changing. It allowed Staravia to get in and win that duel. Ash walked up to where the two Pokemon were. Dodrio and Clefairy soon showed up with him after that attack.

Dodrio was limping while Clefairy had bruises and scuffs on him. Clefairy was looking around. He sensed the attack that disrupted Nidoking.

Future Sight. He didn't know who did it, but he was eternally grateful for them. That won them the battle. Dodrio growled, he shushed her. He couldn't sense Nidokings raging aura. It was a slow and muddy aura.

"Staravia! Are you good? I'm coming down." Ash stepped into the steep crater. He heard a whispered squawk. He blew a sigh of relief after that.

Ash brought his arms out for Staravia. The Pokemon gladly went into his arms. Comfortably in Ash's arms. Ash laughed and giggled at how clingy he was.

"Hehe~ Good job Staravia! That was amazing" "Squawwwkk."

The dust cleared from the crater. Nidokings body was laying with his face up to the sky. His eyes had no pupils. He was out like a light. He was still breathing. Very softly.

Dodrio sneered at his body. All three beaks glowed and you could hear a whirring noise. She approached his comatose body. Each step she took filled with this anxious anger. Dodrio came closer to his body. Some instinct screamed at her to stop. She looked up and around, searching for anyone that wasn't the boy or the three.

Ash looked up as well. Looking around he saw two black outlines that got closer. He squinted to get a closer look at them. He smiled and waved excitedly when he saw Green and Sabrina.

"Heeeeeeeeey! Over Heeereee!"

"Ash look out!"

He was confused before he heard someone standing upright. With that rush of air, he rapidly turned around. He saw Dodrio fly past and crash into a tree. Clefairy got picked up and was thrown callously.

He couldn't do anything but watch. Staravia was still in his arms and injured. Green and Sabrina were still far away. He could hear Green's panicked yell and Sabrina's rapid breathing as she tried and sprinted.

Nidoking brought both arms back as they glowed. SuperPower. He paled as they were aimed at him and Staravia. He quickly back-stepped. His eyes widen as he tripped and was descending.

No. No. No. This wasn't how it ended. He couldn't process what would happen if Nidoking slammed his fist onto both of them. In the back of his mind, the negative thoughts began stirring. From his own to the people of Pallet. To the real to what he made up in his mind. His doubts festering upon him. He doesn't even have a single badge yet.

The disappointment of Professor Oak to his mother. He didn't process that this might be the end for him. He only thought about what people might think.

As he closed his eyes, he hugged Staravia closer.

As the SuperPower got closer to him, he felt the heat throughout his body.

Nidoking felt anger and a rush of adrenaline. He would annihilate these scourges. Even if it meant hurting himself.

He saw a brown blur to his side. Dodrio? She was already injured, she couldn't affect him nor could she direct his attack somewhere else.

Only to feel a meaty fist crash into his face. that fist glowed with the brilliant energy of a star. Mega Punch. The Pokemon punched through Nidoking. The tyrant swerved and twisted from that punch. His body was lifted from the ground and was launched upward.

Ash was in awe at the strength. Green and Sabrina were too.

As Nidoking landed into the ground somewhere far. They could still see his body, but now he was out.

The arm that punched him was tucked back in. The pokemon that punched him was 7'03" Biped Red-eye... parent?

"Squaa-squaa" Ash looked at the pouch and saw baby Kangaskhan and Pikachu. Pikachu was knocked out. He looked up at the large Pokemon and saw a warm smile. She looked reassuring and confident. Kangaskhan was injured, but she powered through.

"Ash! are you alright." He looked back towards Green. He had to process it a bit before giving her a big smile. "Of course! Why would I be!" "Huuuh- You should take this more seriously!" "I am. Trust me." "You know Red says that all the time, yet he doesn't."

Sabrina watched them banter and scold with a 'smile'. Sabrina however berated herself. Future Sight should have beaten Nidoking. How did she miscalculate? She needed to be more cautious.

Right now they needed to heal their Pokemon and the rest. Make a plan to act on it.

As they cleaned the broken trees with the help of the rest of the Pokemon. They were celebrating their victory. Ash was dancing with some Butterfrees and Cleffa's that returned. They gathered fruits, meats, and vegetables to have a feast.

Sabrina was looking at a map of Kanto with a pen in her ear. She was deciding on after Cerulean city. If Green was staying with them, that made them manageable. She could plan if all of them were together. Having a child of the Mask man and the Rainbow hero would further Giovanni's plan. If Green was going to part ways, then she needed to contact someone if that was going to happen. The boy was more important than the girl. She needed to stay with the boy.

Green was sitting under a tree watching Ash, she laughed and jeered when he messed up. Good naturedly of course. Larvitar and the Wartortle were by her side. Both eating. Wartortle happily eating apples and Larvitar silently eating.

Kangaskhan watched on happily. The fight was over. Nidoking was 'exiled' and the Pokemon that back him left with their tail in between their legs. They could relax and have fun for a bit.

Her baby was playing the cheerful human boy. He was laughing quite loud, both of them really. She turned to her left to see her other baby. Pikachu watched on with a strange stare.

She sighed at her boy. He was special. That pink Pokemon that everyone knew. The mischievous pink flying 'Mew'. When Pikachu told her what happened, she knew he was special. Even if he wasn't, he was still her child and that was all she cared about.

Kangaskhan looked between her baby and the boy. He looked young, just like Pikachu. Different. She lightly ushered him forward. He yelped and look at her indignantly.

Kangaskhan scruffed out a noise that was reprimanding-ish and teasing. She ushered him again towards the human boy. Pikachu looked at her, then at him, then at her, then at h-

"Heyyyy! C'mon Pikachu!" "Squawwkk!" "Squaa~" Pikachu looked at the group. They were looking at him. He hesitated before looking back up to his mother. She gave a closed eye smile.

Pikachu looked cheeringly before running towards the group. They were playing tag with Ash mostly the tagger, the Pokemon was quite faster.

The celebration was quieting down as the night got deeper. Soon most of them hit the hay. Sabrina was still up. What Ash thought she was doing, he didn't know.

He laid in his bag as he stared at the sky. He was giddy. He and Staravia won their first battle. Sure they were about to be paste at the end, but they mostly won. He felt like he was just a bit closer to his goal.

Ash thought about the other kids in Pallet. They said he was never going to accomplish anything. He would tell Blue to suck it when he sees him.

He didn't have a complex, he swears.

He thought about his mom and Professor Oak. His mom always believed him, she wanted what was best for him. He didn't know his dad, and he would gladly stay that way. Whoever his dad was, he was glad he was gone.

Professor Oak felt like a grandpa to him. He was one of the few adults that didn't doubt him.

He was brought of his thoughts when he felt a tap on his shoulders. He turned and saw Green within her sleeping bag. She was looking at her Pokedex with an impassive stare. It gave a small light blue glow. Green then turned to him.

"Hey. Are you alright?"

"...? If I'm alright? Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be."

"When I saw you, you were about to be smashed into smush."

"...Wellll, I'm fine now, I was almost hurt."

"That doesn't change the fact that you almost got squashed!"

"..."

"Are you okay? I saw your legs shaking after we got to you, and you were still shaking during the party."

He turned back to the sky. He put his arms behind his head. He was scared, he was afraid, but it was for a different reason. She didn't need to know what the reason was.

"..."

"...Huhhhh. Well, I won't bother you with it if you don't wanna talk about it."

"...wh..."

"...? Hmm? Did you say something." Green turned to him again.

"What's your dream." "My dream?" "Yeah, your dream."

"Wellll..."

"Wellll..?"

"It's a secret~"

"Awww. C'mon."

"Nope~ It's my secret."

"Ok. Keep your secrets."

"I will. Hehehehe."

"...Pfff-"

"HehehehahaHA."

They laid there trying to cover their laughter. Her laugh was infectious. Ash couldn't help it. When one person was having fun, he wanted to have fun. This was a quiet moment that he enjoyed.

"Hmm..."

"Hhmmm."

"So, what's your dream?"

"Really? You want me to say my dream."

"I'm curious. What is your dream?"

"You should know it already. I shout it out a lot."

"Yeah I knooow, but what is it actually?"

"It is what it is. I want to be a Pokemon Master."

"Y'know. That doesn't explain a lot. Do you want to subjugate each and every Pokemon?~"

"What! No!... It's nothing like that."

"Ehe."

"A Pokemon Master is something more than a champion, a breeder, or an elite four member."

"But... A Pokemon Master isn't an actual title. Is it a monarch? Like competing in the World Coronation series?"

"Beyond that."

"Beyond that?"

"Yeah, beyond that. It isn't just some title. It's a way of life. Something that you don't earn from other people. To think that people could choose who you are is something I don't like."

"...I get that. Not wanting people to choose who I am, but I don't think when you become a Champion they are forcing anything on you."

"I guess I didn't phrase it right. I don't want people's opinion on me to be the main thing. I don't want to have the weight of those people's eyes on me."

"? Didn't you want to prove the kids in Pallet wrong? Especially Blue?"

"Yeah, I did say that often. I want to do that. I want to show Blue and others. It just isn't my goal. Like I said, my goal is beyond."

"..."

Ash's eyes were sparkling. When he talked about his goal his eyes shined like the stars in the skies. He was smiling like a boy seeing his mother after a long time. He looked so happy.

"..."

"That's a great goal."

"Thanks~"

"..." Green was smiling as well. Staring at the sky. That didn't explain anything, but Ash had a bright goal just like Red, or maybe even brighter.

"By the way. Where did you get that... 'Pokedex'?"

"...Huh? This?"

"Yeah, that."

"I got it from Professor Oak."

"... From Professor Oak?"

"Yeah. Didn't you get one?"

"...No. I didn't"

"You... Didn't?"

"...Yeah."

"I'm sure it wasn't on purpose. I'm sure he will give you one."

"..." Ash stared at the sky.

"Yeah. Of course, I'll talk to Oak at Cerulean."

"We can talk to him together."

"I want to talk to him by myself."

"Oh. That makes sense."

"Yep... Well, good night."

"Good night Ash."

They both turned away from each other. Green rolled away from him to not make it awkward.

Ash turned away from the conversation. Professor Oak gave her a precious device. Did he also give Red and Blue the same devices? Did Professor Oak think he wasn't good enough?

No that couldn't be it. There was a better explanation for this. It couldn't just be that he wasn't good enough. It couldn't be that he wasn't good enough. He tried to force himself asleep.

The thoughts came back. It rose to the surface of his mind. It festered up and made his mind muddy. His thoughts weren't clear. It was stained with doubts. Doubts of the one he considered a grandpa.

Was he good enough?

It was morning. The sun was bright and it was clear. Bright and sunny. Green smiled as she stretched. One step closer. Now she had to get stronger as she awoke Blasty from his deep slumber.

That didn't work as he was still asleep.

She huffed before taking out his Pokeball and returning him. She packed her messenger bag her supplies before putting it over her head and on her left shoulder.

She felt a tap on her right leg. She looked down and saw the green rock type.

"Hey, Larvitar. How's it going." "Lar-Larvitar."

"Huh?" She couldn't understand him. She wasn't like Red or Ash. Especially Ash, his gift was something special.

"Lar-Larvitar!" ...Yeah, she couldn't understand him.

"LAR-LARVITAR!" He was getting fussy now.

"Okay, okay, okay. Enough of that young man!" Larvitar started pouting. Pouting. Green felt a little mean.

"C'moooon. Say it." "Larvitar..." "Say ittt~"

Larvitar faced her. Eye to eye. He took a big gulp of air. He pointed at one of the Pokeballs, "Lar-Lar-Larvitar!"

"...You want a souvenir to remember me?"

"..."

"It was a joke. C'mon, you can join me."

Green eagerly brought out an empty Pokeball and showed it towards Larvitar. Larvitar looked at the Pokeball for a few seconds. There was no way back after this. This was his only chance.

He touched the white button with his tiny hand. It opened with such vigor it might've broken. The red light enveloped him and he became smaller. The Pokeball closed and rattled. It rattled three times before it clicked.

Green looked around for anyone, before doing a little. Doing a little jig, excitedly jumping up and down as her arms followed.

Ash was zipping his own backpack pretty quickly not far from her. He watched her before turning away, not wanting to get caught.

As he brought his backpack onto him, he was about to go see where Sabrina was. He was stopped when he saw a yellow blur. It was Pikachu. Kangaskhan followed after.

"What is it buddy" Ash went down to a knee. Pikachu got up his hind legs with his front paws on Ash. He smiled as Pikachu nuzzled him, before turning away with a huff. He's pretty complicated, Pikachu would like to assume of himself.

Kagaskhan muttered before bopping his head lightly. Pikachu gave an indignant cry. Pikachu turned to Ash.

"Chu! Chu!" Ash's eyes widen. His face brought upon his smile.

"You want to join me!" "Chu!" "C'mon buddy!" Staravia shot out of his Pokeball and squawked happily.

"Alright, here's the Pokeball." Bringing one empty Pokeball and threw it to the sky. Pikachu jumped up and high-fived the Pokeball, opening it. The red light consumed and enveloped him. It rattled three times before clicking.

He picked it up with a happy smile, he sent Pikachu out of his ball. "Well, Pikachu. Welcome to the team!" "PikaPi!"

As he turned away with Pikachu returning into his Pokeball and Staravia flying in a circle above Ash.

He got a top from a large hand. Turning to Kangaskhan curiously, "Is there something you need?" Kangaskhan looked at him calmly. This time, Ash didn't know what Kangaskhan was looking at. It felt like she was staring at his soul.

Kangaskhan saw a pain deep in his eyes. His eyes were a bit red. It could be that he was still tired or he cried a bit. She had her reason to get his attention, now there was another reason.

Kangaskhan pointed at another empty Pokeball. "...! You want to join as well!" "Squawk!" Ash looked excited. To think he would get a third partner this fast!

"You sure!" "Mrrroooooooowww" Kangaskhan let out a bestial roar. It was strong as birds flew up, scared.

"hehehahaHAHAHA! You can join! You can join!" Throwing another Pokeball like a baseball. It tapped on her head lightly and opened. It didn't rattle. It clicked instantly.

Now he was doing a jig.

Kangaskhan wanted to protect her son. Now, she was going to protect their trainer.
