Chapter One: New Comers
"Druig I want to go out. Seriously I hate being cooped up in this forest." Alexis says as she is in a building with Druig.
"I know you do but it's best if you stay here. Trust me. I'm only-" Druig then gets cut off by Alexis.
"I know. I know. You're just protecting us. I'm not defenseless Druig and you know that." Alexis says.
"I know but being part wolf won't always help you." Druig says.
"Druig someone is here." Alexis says as she looks out a window and sees a group of unfamiliar people before Druig goes outside.
"I've missed all of you. Please. Make yourselves at home." Druig says.
*Timeskip*
"Druig if those people are truly your family like you told me a while back then you need to go help them." Alexis says as she is with Druig in a building.
"I don't need to do anything. They made their choices and I've made mine." Druig says as Alexis looks at him in shock.
"They're your family." Alexis says in disbelief.
"Well family don't threaten each other Alexis. You lost your family when you were a kid. You don't know what that is like." Druig says as Alexis gives an angry look.
"I can't believe you. I may not know what it's like to be threatened by family." Druig says as Alexis then walks away.
"Where are you going?" Druig asks.
"Away from you right now. You might be the boss of this village but you are not the boss of me nor do you know how I feel." Alexis says angrily.
"Alexis!" Druig shouts.
"Leave me alone Druig! Be cold and isolated. That's all you know how to do anyway." Alexis says angrily as she keeps walking.
*Timeskip*
"That man! One of the most infuriating humans I ever come across. Immortal or not he still a pain. Huh?" Alexis asks as she is in the woods before hears screaming from the village and shifts to wolf form before running back toward the village. As Alexis gets to the village she soon sees sprite getting attacked before charging at the beast attacking her and knocks it away.
"Who are you and what are you?" Sprite asks.
"Alexis. I'm a wolf shifter. Larger than normal wolves and three times as strong. I wanna help. You're the family of someone I care about and so I wanna help." Alexis says as she growls lowly at the beast getting up.
"Get out of here! Hurry!" Kingo shouts.
"No way! I'm not leaving." Alexis says sternly.
"Alexis just do as he says! Get to the river! Protect the villagers." Druig shouts sternly before Alexis reluctantly runs off.
*Timeskip*
As Alexis is walking near the river she overhears Druig talking to his family about leaving to help protect the planet and goes over.
"I want to help you." Alexis says as the others look at her.
"No Alexis." Druig says sternly.
"Yes Druig. I can help. I may not be like the rest of you but if I can at least help to fight and protect my home planet then I will. I'm not taking no for an answer." Alexis says sternly.
"Stubborn woman." Druig says annoyedly.
"Well now you know how I feel about you majority of the time." Alexis says as she glares at Druig.
"Okay how did she end up in the village? She clearly isn't all human." Kingo asks.
"Don't ask." Alexis and Druig say in union before looking at each other.
"Is there something going on with you two?" Kingo asks.
"No." Alexis and Druig say in union before looking at each other again.
"We should get going. we're wasting time. We'll find Phastos and go from there." Sersi says.
