"It's started." Sersi says as she runs into the room.
"Oh no..." Phastos says.
"What about the Unimind?" Sersi asks.
"I haven't figured out a way to connect us but I am close. I am very, very close." Phastos says.
"How much longer?" Sersi asks.
"I don't know Sersi! Find the point of Emergence." Phastos says as he goes over to Makkari before she runs out of the room.
"You always knew the end was coming. It must be a relief." Druig says as he looks at Thena.
"That deviant is still tracking us." Thena says.
"I know what it's like to lose someone you love. I can say this. Killing him won't bring you peace." Alexis says as she looks at Thena.
"Killing him might." Thena says.
"I am close to figuring it out." Phastos says as Ikaris walks into the room and blasts Phastos's work.
"Boss what are you doing?" Kingo asks.
"I've let this go on long enough." Ikaris says.
"Don't hurt him! He lied to us. He already knew about the Emergence." Sersi shouts as she runs into the room and runs over to Phastos.
"What?" Alexis asks in shock.
"No he didn't." Kingo says.
"Ajak told me everything when we left Babylon." Ikaris says.
"You were never gonna let us stop the Emergence." Phastos says.
"No. I only wanted to protect you from the Deviants." Ikaris says.
"If Ajak wanted you to take her place why did she choose me? What have you done?" Sersi asks angrily.
"He killed her." Druig says.
"I had to." Ikaris says.
"She loved you." Sersi says sadly as the others express sadness and shock.
"Did she? Did you think it was easy to live with the truth? To know that one day all of this would end. To keep on lying to you. If we gave humanity the choice how many of them would be willing to die? So that billions more could be born." Ikaris says.
"We are not giving them a choice. Is this.. why you are willing to kill? You are so pathetic!" Phastos shouts angrily.
"I am an Eternal Phastos. I exist for Arishem. As do you. This is who you are. I will not change a single thing about who I am." Ikaris says.
"Born or made but I do not exist for Arishem. I exist for my family." Phastos says.
"Then you are making the same mistake Ajak did." Ikaris says as Makkari runs in saying she found Tiamut before Ikaris turns to attack her.
"Makkari run!" Alexis shouts as she shifts to wolf form and tackles Ikaris away from Makkari only for him to turn his eyes to her.
"Alexis!" Druig shouts as Kingo then stops Ikaris from attacking Alexis.
"You do not turn against your family. Gilgamesh died because of you." Kingo says as he points an attack at Ikaris.
"You won't succeed against me and I will kill every one of you if I have to." Ikaris says.
"Wait! I am going with you." Sprite says as she then leaves with Ikaris before Makkari returns and asks why sprite left with Ikaris.
"Because she loves him. Oh you guys didn't pick up on that? He really fooled us. Didn't he? Karun let's go." Kingo says as he and his film person begin to leave.
"Wait. Where are you going?" Phastos asks.
"I can't help you guys. I still think Ikaris is right." Kingo says.
"So that's it? Huh? Just gonna follow him?" Phastos asks.
"I love the people of this planet but if you stop this Emergence you are preventing so many other worlds like this one from being created. I still have faith in Arishem but I refuse to hurt any of you for my beliefs." Kingo says.
"We need you." Sersi says.
"Even with my help we are no match. It's Ikaris. But I hope to see you on the next planet." Kingo says.
"Everything you did for us we are grateful. It is a big honor for us. I will miss all of you guys." Karun says as he leaves with Kingo.
"Look if I am going to get myself killed going up against Ikaris we are gonna need to have a backup plan." Druig says.
"I agree. We can't just go in without thinking this through." Alexis says.
"All of our powers even if they are amplified are not enough to kill a celestial." Phastos says.
"Sersi did turn a Deviant into a tree." Druig says.
"Wait. Sersi did what now?" Alexis asks confusedly.
"I am sorry. What? You don't want to tell me that?" Phastos says as he looks at Sersi while Makkari says it wasn't possible before.
"I don't know how it happened okay? I am pretty sure I couldn't do it again." Sersi says.
"Well now is the time to try. Don't you think?" Phastos asks.
"Phastos that Deviant is dead. Our plan is to put Tiamut to sleep not to kill it. I can't kill a celestial." Sersi says.
"Sersi." Phastos says.
"We can't! We can't." Sersi says.
"It's okay Sersi. I got this." Druig says as Sersi walks off.
