Anti-Mage 29: The Demon-Slayer Sword is not removed from the story. And about his eyes, He was born with a Gray Irises(the eye color) but when he reached 10, His eye color permanently changed from Gray to White.

THE BLIND SWORDSMAN
CHAPTER 4
In the forest of Hage, during the afternoon
Asta has jumped back with his new katana in hand. He then hold his sword up to block the 3 wind slashes aimed at him.
"Is that all you got?"
Asta said to his training partner. Yuno then came from the tree behind Asta and threw a wind attack at him, But Asta sensed it from behind him. He then generated white energy from his katana and coated the blade with it. He then quickly turned around and hit the wind attack with his katana. The blade of the katana and the wind attack was clashing with each other until Asta swung down, destroying the wind attack. As he did, Yuno secretly threw another attack and it hit and knocked Asta off his feet.
"And that's one point for Yuno." Yuno said with a grin on his face. "I'm up one."
"Where did you learn to count, Yuno? We're even." Asta said as he stands up, using the katana to lift himself up.
"Is that so? Then this will be the tiebreaker." Yuno then started generating wind around him.
Asta then change the white energy into dark energy, with his eye color changing to match the energy. "Bring it." Asta then charges at Yuno and they continued their battle training.
It has been six months seen they have received their grimoires. Yuno would practice his wind magic while Asta would learn more about his grimoire and practice his swordsmanship.
Asta has learned a few new things about his grimoire.
First was his new katana. The handle was from his old katana, but the design was now black and white. One cool thing about this katana was that Asta could shift the sharpness of the blade, making it either very sharp to very dull, which was great for sparring with others.
Another thing was the energy. Asta can generate two different types of energy, White and Black energy. The Black energy has the ability to nullify any magic that touches it. He wasn't sure what the White Energy can do, except that it allowed him to block magic attacks. And from what Yuno told him, his eye color would either stay white or change to black.
A few hours later
The sun was going down for the day. Asta and Yuno was walking out of the forest and to the church. They were out of breath, covered in dust and was a bit tired.
"That was... a good training exercise." Asta told Yuno.
"Yeah... even though you cheated."
"Hey, I didn't... cheat."
"Suure you didn't." Yuno replied with sarcasm.
"If I... wasn't so out of breath... I would punch you right now."
They stopped walking as they have made it to the church. They decided to sit down on the steps for a while.
"Hey Yuno, did you think we're ready for that Magic Knights Exam?"
"I think we are. However, it's hard to say depending on who will be there."
"I believe we can handle it. I mean, you have the four leaf, I doubt any of them will give you problems."
"Says the one with the energy that can negate magic."
"Yes, you're right about that. I still don't know what the second energy do."
"Well, I'm sure you'll find out soon. Anyway, it's getting late, we should head in now." Yuno and Asta then got up and walked into the church. They ate dinner and clean themselves off before heading to bed.
In the next day, Asta and Yuno said their goodbyes to Lily, Father Orsi and the other children before they headed to the Magic Knight Exam. After walking a long distance, they made it to the Magic Knight Exam venue and went inside. They would go to the wizard, have him touch their grimoires, give them a number and they walked inside.
Inside the venue, There was a big crowd, waiting for the test to begin. Asta had to close his eyes so the auras everywhere doesn't start giving him a headache. All of the sudden, birds started to fly in and start pecking at the participants there.
"Ah! What are these birds deal?"
"They're anti-bird. The less mana you have, the more they peck at you."
While the people there was getting peck, they notice that not a single bird flew near Yuno.
"Look, not a single bird flew near him."
"It's him! The one with the four leaf."
"The Four Leaf?"
Asta wasn't focus on Yuno as he was trying not to get peck at. He kept moving away he bumped into someone, someone who scared the birds away. This person's aura felt familar for some reason. Asta turned to the person he bumped into.
"Hey, sorry for bumping into you." Asta apologized to the man and the man turned to face him.
"Do you want to die, runt?"
'Oh Crap! Who did I bump into!' Asta was not ready for that response. He sensed this menacing presence from him. He doesn't know why this person felt familiar, but right now this person was scaring him.
The man looked at Asta and stopped for a second. He then pick Asta up by his head to get a closer look. As Asta was freaking out, The man figured out why this kid looked familiar.
"Hey, I know you." The man said, which really confused Asta. "You're that kid from a long time ago, The one with no sight but great sensing abilities."
Asta was still confused on who was talking to him, but he then sensed two people walked up to them.
"There you are Yami, where did you went?" The first person said, which made Asta wide-eyed as he figured out what he felt familiar.
"Had to take a dump and got lost." Yami answered.
"Wait, those robes. They're the Black Bulls."
"That's Finral Roulacase. He uses rare Spatial Magic, but his flirtatious behavior gets in the way of his duties."
"And that's Gordon Agrippa, his great with incantation, but he's quiet and he's quite scary."
"Then that means... That's Yami Sukehiro, The captain."
Yami then dropped Asta on his butt. "I can wait to see how much you have improve, kid." He then walks off with Finral and Gordon.
"Need some help?" A voice from above Asta said. Asta raised his right hand and the voice helped him up.
"Thanks, my name is Asta."
"My name is Sekke, let us do our best together." Sekke said smiling. 'Perfect, If I stick with him, I'll look better in comparison.'
Asta then thought to himself. 'Just play along Asta.'
He then sensed incredible mana coming from the seats above the crowd. He turned around to the incredible mana sources.
'Who are they?'
"It's the magic knights captains."
"It's Dorothy Unsworth, captain of the Coral Peacock." Dorothy was the captain in a pink, pointed hat and was sleeping. "Wait, is she asleep?!"
"It's Jack the Ripper, captain of the Green Mantis. I heard that his Cutting Magic could cut through an entire mountain." Jack was the captain in a short, green cape, has messy hair and a scar on his left eye.
"That's Gueldre Poizot, captain of the Purple Orca." Gueldre was the captain in purple. Asta waited for the person to say more and the person looked back at him. "Oh, That is all. He's not really interesting."
"It's Charlotte Roselei, captain of the Blue Rose." Charlotte was the captain with the armor and blue cape. "She's so beautiful." Most of the men agreed, but since Asta can't see her beauty, he'll just have to take their word for it.
"It's two of the royal families. Fuegoleon Vermillion, captain of the Crimson Lion, and Nozel Silva, captain of the Silver Eagle." Asta was surprised to hear their names as well.
'They hear too? And their captains? Cool.' Asta thought.
"It's Rill Boismortier, captain of the Aqua Deers. He is the youngest captain, at age 19." Rill was the captain with the aqua-colored hair and a long open coat that matches.
"Wow, 19?! That's impressive." Asta said.
A captain with a helmet that functions as a mask shows up and most people got excited. "It's William Vangeance, captain of the Golden Dawn. One of the best magic knights squad."
'So he's the one closest to becoming the next wizard king.' Both Asta and Yuno thought.
William began to speak. "Welcome everyone to the magic knights entrance exam, please remember that if you don't get accepted into a magic knights squad today, you'll have to leave."
Yami showed up and sat down in his chair with Finral and Gordon standing behind him.
"Could you have not shown up any sooner, Yami? This is a serious matter." Fuegoleon said to Yami.
"You're serious enough for all of us Fuegoleon." Yami replied calmly.
"Yami, this is important. Some of these people could be our future allies." Charlotte said.
"Charlotte's right, this could effect these young people's future. Now then..." William then opened his grimoire.
World Tree Magic: Magic Tree Descent
As he spoke those words, a light shine over the arena and tree roots started coming from the sky. Every was amazed, especially Asta as he have never sense this much mana before. The Roots descent to the people and created some broomsticks for them to grab.
"Your first task is to show us that you can fly on a broom. It's one of the main ways of travel for a magic knight." William instructed them.
Everyone started the first task. While there was a few who was struggling to get off the ground, there was some who was flying with no problem at all.
"It seems we have some promising candidates." William said as they see some people, including Yuno, in the air flying with some style to it.
Asta however was struggling to do so. He gripped the broom hard and tried to fly but to no avail.
"Hey Asta, try focusing and it will work." Sekke said flying above him.
"I'm trying." Asta replied, still struggling.
Over the course of the exam, people were given different tasks. There was when they have to damage a wall with their magic, Asta managed to do well with this task as he generated black energy from his grimoire and hitting the wall with it. Next was creating something with your mana, he generated some white energy and focused hard to create something. What he created was a simple knife. Then they were tested with growing a seed with their mana, he didn't do well in that one.
"Now we reached to the finally test." William said, getting everyone's attention. "It will be a one-on-one battle." he said, making the crowd look in surprised.
Fuegoleon stood up. "As this countries magic knights, we must be able to fight whatever threatens this kingdom."
"We have medical mages on standby if needed. Please choose a partner and we will begin." William said.
Asta was pretending to look around until he sense Sekke walking up to him.
"Hey, how about you and me fight?" Sekke asked.
"Sure." Asta answered.
Asta and Sekke stood in the middle of the arena, with the crowd stood back. Now the crowd wasn't sure on how to feel about Asta.
Sekke smirked as he placed his hand on Asta's shoulder. "Why are you even trying here?" Sekke said in a insulting tone. He was caught off guard as Asta smacked his hand away from his shoulder.
"It's about time you showed your true colors." Sekke was surprised by what Asta was saying. "I know that you chose me because you wanted to make yourself look good. I figured it out when I saw your aura flow."
"That's quite impressive, but that doesn't matter. You're a commoner with what I heard from the captain, no sight. I don't know nor care about what your goal is, but mine is to join the magic knights to relax. So try to make me look good and then you can go back to your dump." Sekke said as he stood away from Asta.
A mage then stood between them. "Begin!" The mage shouted as he stood back from the battle.
"Haha, lets see you handle this." Sekke then opened his grimoire. A blue sphere surrounded him, after the sphere was fully formed, tiny cannon started appearing around it.
Bronze Magic: Sekke's Magnum Cannonball
'What do you think, magic knights captains. This shield is invincible and even if he can't penetrate it, I can shoot him from this distance.' Sekke thought.
While the magic knights was watching, Fuegoleon and Nozel looked at Asta and they finally see the scar on his face. Fuegoleon quietly got Yami's and Nozel's attention and pointed at Asta.
"Hey, isn't that-"
"Yep, that's the blind kid we met those years ago." Yami answered, knowing what Fuegoleon was going to ask. Fuegoleon and Nozel looked at Yami with a surprised expression.
"That's him?" Fuegoleon said. "He has gotten bigger."
"Do you think he has gotten strong as well?" Nozel asked.
"I don't know, we'll just have to see with this battle." Yami answered Nozel's question as they focused back at the fight.
What they didn't know that someone was eavesdropping on their conversation.
Back at the fight, Asta looked at Sekke in confusion.
'Heh. Look at him, I got him all confused. Winning this is going to be easy.' Sekke thought with a grin on his face.
"... That's all?"
What Asta said left Sekke a bit confused.
"Excuse me?!" Sekke said in a insulted matter. "This is my ultimate defense. I'll show you, Come and attack me and I'll show you why your pathetic attacks with do nothing, Ha Ha!"
"Ok, here I come." Asta said as he opened his grimoire. He then leaned forward and ran at Sekke in a burst of speed.
'He's fast.' Yami, Fuegoleon and Nozel thought.
Asta took out his katana, covered it in the black energy and made it dull so he doesn't hurt Sekke badly. Before Sekke could react, Asta swung the katana hard across the blue sphere and Sekke's face. The blue sphere disappeared and Asta walked back as Sekke stood there for a while before his eyes rolled to the back of his head and fell to the ground, knocked out cold. This caught everyone off guard except for Yuno, who had a smile across his face.
"You thought you had me, but you was sadly mistaken. Now I'm not here to just relax." He said as he rested his katana on his right's shoulder. "I'm here to prove. To prove that this Blind Swordsman can become the Wizard King."
And that was Chapter 4.
