"Okay guys, listen up! The job as a bouncer of the Moulin Cortex is simple! You are to ensure that there is no unpleasant atmosphere in this club, and protect our dancers from any grubby mitts that tries to grab them inappropriately." The leading Bandicoot said, lecturing the bouncers.
She was a busty, slender, yet muscular Bandicoot, with bright green hair that was neck length, while her eyes, and her tail was also green in color. She also wore a yellow and green minidress/tankini, a pair of baggy pants, and sneakers. And she looked to be a tough female Bandicoot, even though she was also beautiful to Sonic's eyes. Her bust size; was an E-cup.
And she was currently giving out a lecture to Sonic, and a team of bouncers that he was alongside. One of which, he quickly recognized.
Being Knuckles.
There was also, another plant girl, who has pale peach skin, and light blue eyes with one long eyelash on each one. She also has bright green hair with a pair of roses held by yellow hair ties, one on each side of her head. She seemingly sports a green coat with a yellow trim and cuffs, with a red amulet on her chest, and she also wore a white pair of baggy pants, being partially covered by a petal-like skirt with bright green tips, white tights, and green slippers. And she currently Her bust size; was E-Cup.
"Is that Cosmo?! And she's alive in this world?! Boy is Tails going to be pleasantly surprised if he was here too." Sonic thought with a smile.
After all, he saw that Tails really loved her, and was sad when she ended up dying. And that also hurt Sonic on the inside, but he didn't show it to him. He just wanted to remain strong for Tails and keep his cool. Even if Sonic felt that he should've gave Tails a hug, and tell him that he misses her too.
Sure there was a chance for her to come back to life through the seed that he, and Shadow was able to retrieve from the remains of their battle with Dark Oak, but he was sure that it'd probably be quite a while, or may never happen. So, to see her alive in this world, had Sonic feeling glad that she's here, if it's going to make Tails happy. Though it was a little bit odd that she happens to be a bouncer herself, considering her seemingly timid nature last time she was with his friends.
"My name is Ami. With an I at the end. And you're all my fellow guardians for the dancers of this club. Our job, is to protect them, and throw out the scum that tries to ruin this club, inadvertently or not." She spoke.
"So, in other words, throw out the bad people that tries to give this club a bad name. Sounds simple enough." Sonic thought.
"Just be forewarned though, this job could get a little dangerous, since those guys could try to fight back. And they could arm themselves with a weapon if you're not careful. Like with a dagger, brass knuckles, or even a common chair. Anything could go in a fight, so don't hesitate to be pragmatic in combat, if need be, just ensure that it doesn't end in a mess. Or worse, tragedy." Ami continued. "But at the same time, ensure that the common customer gets treated with respect, and don't give them a bad impression of us, and this club."
Sonic wasn't one to listen to lectures much, but he felt that this is too important to ignore, especially the part about the bad guys that could fight back, as he kept focus.
"So just in case there's trouble, be sure to identify the kind that you'll be dealing with first. If it's not too much problem, then ensure that it won't be for the others, with your intervention. If it is though, don't hesitate to call in backup, and we'll be running to your location. Also, ensure that you try to reason with him too. If he continues the fight, punish him, and throw him out. If he gets dangerous, leave it to yourself, and your teammates to punish him too." Ami continued.
Sonic felt a bit relieved that he had teammates when it comes to this job as a bouncer for Moulin Cortex. Even if he felt that since he fought robots, and other bigger stuff, he might not need help. In fact, he might not need a team in his section of guarding. But a part of him was telling him that there could be surprises that he could be facing in his future, and that he shouldn't underestimate the potential dangers that could be coming to this club.
"One more thing. We don't seek only strength for this job, but also some charismatic, and flexible people like you as well. Ones that can either talk the guy down before he hurts himself, or keep him distracted long enough to have him be forced to fight you, and your teammates, or leave in a huff. Which is better than having him hurt someone, accidentally or not. And also, try not to expect any fist fights here, nor should you provoke them. Cause it's counter-productive to your job in this club. Not to mention a surefire way of getting fired and thrown out yourself, if you do the latter." Ami then lectured.
Sonic kept that last part in mind. After all, he may enjoy the thrill of the fight himself, but he doesn't actively try to look for one from any villain if they are a serious threat. That, and he knows a thing or two about how the job as a Bouncer really works.
"Now, without further ado, it's time to open this club up, and split into teams! We're all patrolling, and guarding some of the dancers, with me on my end of the club since the dancers close to me are my friends. You all have the other dancers that you can be closer to, with you guys going there to guard your dancers, but first off…
Sonic was now in the basement tournament room, where he was sparring with the other bouncers of the club. One of which, was with Knuckles, while the Bandicoot known as Ami was sparring with another bouncer that was also a Bandicoot like her. Whom was a young blonde Bandicoot with her hair in a ponytail, and she was wearing baggy pants that was cyan blue, and pink shoes, while she also wielded a staff in her hands. Her bust size; was a D-Cup.
"That's it, Coco. Like that." Ami said, praising Coco's fighting talent as they sparred, much to her delight.
Sonic overheard that name, and felt that the young female Bandicoot that was also doing the job of a Bouncer, was pretty cool herself. If there was going to be anybody that would make a good partner for him during his job session as a Bouncer, it'd be her.
Not to say that his current sparring partner in Knuckles wouldn't do. As he is able to fight well, and he is strong. But knowing his intelligence, especially when it came to being fooled, he is probably going to screw something up, and have him clean up the mess.
As long as he won't be screwing up too much though, then Sonic was fine with Knuckles.
Sonic also noticed another bouncer that was sparring with Cosmo. Whom, was a pink furred cat with a white muzzle, who also had a tuft of white hair on her head. She wore a tank top that was modest, and showed off her muscled arms, and baggy pants. Her bust size; was a DD-cup.
Sonic heard that she was Katt Monroe. And she was also a bouncer that worked in the club before he was hired. At least according to Shahra. And Sonic had to say, he knew better than to get on her bad side, as well as Ami's.
Then Sonic noticed another cat, whom was a lynx cat with tan fur, and dark brown stripes on her fur, and a white muzzle. She looked to be tomboyish, and pretty strong looking, just not as muscular as Ami. She also wore a tank top, and baggy pants. Her bust size; was D-cup.
Her name was Miyu, a tomboyish lynx cat that was also pretty, yet spunky, and looked like a tomboy that nobody should mess with. And she was currently sparring with a female badger, who has orange fur with long thick hair on the back of her head, which she keeps in two locks with auburn strings, and two brown stripes across each of her eyes and bushy round ears that reach the end of her hair. She has a peach muzzle, a small black nose, blue eyes and a medium-long bushy tail. She is also lithe, but still easy on the eyes, with her bust size being DD-Cup. All while she wore midriff-baring tube top and a pair of patchy baggy pants held up by an auburn rope belt.
Sonic knew who the Badger was, being that it was Sticks the badger. Who was a crazy jungle girl, from an Island known as Bygone Island. Yet she was of good help to Sonic when they fought Eggman together. And she was likeably crazy too, even if her conspiracy theories were too crazy to be believable, and got on his nerves. Nevertheless, he was delighted that she was here too.
Meanwhile, a curvy cloaked figure who had bat wings was standing around, looking at the team of bouncers, probably with a smirk underneath. Sonic had an idea who she could be considering the wings she had. But Sonic wondered why she was wearing the cloak to hide herself.
"Sonic! Look out!" Shahra's voice sounded.
Which broke him out of his thoughts, forcing him not to wonder too much. Since he was still in the middle of his spar, as his near screw up with his spar with Knuckles showed him as he barely ducked under his haymaker, while then jumping over his leg sweep.
"Nice save there. But keep your eyes on me now." Knuckles said to him, after praising his save.
"Thanks." Sonic said to both Knuckles, and Shahra. The latter for the warning shout.
"No problem." Both inadvertently said in unison. Before Knuckles and Sonic continued their training spar, making sure that their combat skill isn't going to be rusty when they get deployed for their protection of the dancers.
After all, there is bound to be trouble of any variety, that could happen in the club. As Ami said, bouncers are there to ensure that none of them can get any worse.
Sonic was now in the main room of the club, where he was looking around at his surroundings.
Which looked like something that could be out of Station Square, with him in what looked to be a casino, like in Casinopolis, only with no Slot Machines. And with more highlight towards the strippers, and Belly dancers.
Which, is a place, that Sonic didn't expect to be in. Sure, he imagined himself in being a casino like this, but it was mainly to gamble for money, or rings, or for the fun of it. And not much did he think about looking at the sexy female dancers. But he wasn't complaining.
Especially since he saw the dancers too, and he thought that they were quite pretty, and sexy.
Especially the Blonde Bandicoot, who also had blue eye colors, and a beauty mark on her left cheek, while her hair was styled to her right. She wore a cyan blue belly dancer's outfit with a crop top, adorned with gold coins, and a loincloth that was modestly covering her tush, and her crotch, but showed off the shapes as well as her legs, showing that she's a tall, slender yet curvy Blonde Bandicoot. Her bust size was a DDD-Cup.
There was also a cyan blue haired Bandicoot, with bright pink eye colors, while her hairstyle was in a pair of pigtails. She wore a similar belly dancer's outfit to the previous one, only hers was white colored, and her bottoms were panties that was modest, and was covered by her pink veils on her hips. Her bust size; was a DD-cup.
And there was another female bandicoot, with orange fur, a cream-colored muzzle and blue eyes, whom has blonde, and cyan blue hair, in a style of a left facing Fauxhawk. Who wore another belly dancer outfit, only hers was a pink top that is adorned with coins, that showed her cleavage, while her bottoms were blue thong panties, that was only barely covered by see-through veils, which she also had on her arms. And she was not only belly dancing, she was also dancing on a pole.
Sonic heard that their names were Isabella, Megumi, and Dawn Bandicoot. (Tawna's adventurous twin sister, according to Ami.) All three of whom, were friends of Ami's, and Liz, the latter of whom, isn't part of the Moulin Cortex as a dancer, but is a Royal one for the Pharaoh, and the princess. But she does frequent the Moulin Cortex since she's another friend to them.
Those Bandicoots looked appealing to the eyes to where Sonic admits that he was delighted to be working in the Moulin Cortex, seeing them dance.
Sonic also saw some other dancers that he didn't recognize.
Like the cocker spaniel, with white fur, and long ears that reached her shoulders, and a pooch's tail. She also had blue eye colors, and looked pretty girly. Especially with the red bow on her head, and the lipstick she wore. And especially compared to the Lynx cat that was her bouncer. She wore pink see-through baggy pants that showed her panties that was a rose red color. Her bust size' was a DDD-cup.
Her name was Fay. A friend of one of the bouncers, known as Miyu, whom, was said to be her classmate back in an academy that they dropped out of. And now she is a dancer with the others.
Sonic then saw the other dancers that he then recognized as those he knew, and are his friends.
There was a pair of grown rabbits that was cream colored. With the younger one having cinnamon-brown eyes, a small brown nose, and a white muzzle. She has princeton orange markings around her eyes, on her head and at the ends of her ears. She also has two long eyelashes on each eye, and a short, fluffy tail that stuck out of her belly dancer's outfit. Which was similar to Isabella's only it was an orange color. While she also wore a pair of gold studded earrings on each of her ears. Her bust size; was a DDD-Cup.
The older one was also a cream-furred rabbit with a white muzzle that possess a small brown nose, brown eyes, only she had a tuft of princeton orange hair on her forehead. She has brown eyelids and Princeton orange markings around her eyes and on the ends of her lopped ears. Her outfit was similar to the previous one's only hers was lavender purple colored, and showed off her panties as well, which looked scantily. Her bust size; was an E-Cup.
Those rabbits were Cream, and her mother, Vanilla. While the former was looking older to where she'd look like Vanilla's younger sister. (While Vanilla looked a bit younger to her late teens.) In fact, Sonic felt that the patrons of the club would think so, if Sonic didn't know that she was her daughter. At least, she should be, even in this world.
"Wow. Both of them look nice. It's no wonder they were drawing in the crowd too." Sonic said to himself.
Then he saw another dancer, who was also a rabbit, only she was different from the others since she had light orange-blonde fur with brighter fur around her muzzle. She also has jungle green eyes, and purple eyelids. And she happens to be strong looking herself to where she could almost match Ami's muscles, but she was still quite attractive to the patrons of the club. Her outfit was like the previous rabbits, but hers were a more pinkish violet colored outfit to differentiate herself from the rabbit dancers. Her bust size; was an E-Cup.
Sonic knew it had to be Bunnie Rabbot, except she has no robotic limbs. Which was good for her, since she has no chance of accidentally crushing her friends with those limbs. And now she was dancing for the crowd herself, and was winking for them. Sonic remembered having dated her, but he felt that she's too much like a sister to himself, and to Tails, so they amicably broke up without any upset between each other.
Then he noticed another dancer, who was a busty, curvy bat, with white fur, tan skin, and teal eyes. She also has large pointy ears, small fangs, a small black nose on her muzzle, a short pointy tail, and a pair of dark purple wings on her back. Her hair was styled to where it flares out into six points at the back. She wore powder blue eyeshadow and purple lipstick as her makeup, while her belly dancer outfit was quite skimpy. With her top being pink which showed off her cleavage, while her bottoms were low hanging veils that hung off her waist, while making gaps that exposes her hips, and a bit of her bubbly buttcheeks, while she also wore a black loincloth that connected to the veils, and also exposed her tail, and almost her butt, all of which, was adorned with gold coins, thin gold chains that also held up her loincloth, and jewelry, while she also wore gold earrings on her ears. And she wore a black see-through veil over her muzzle. Her bust size; was an F-Cup.
That was no doubt, Rouge the Bat herself. Whom he knew could be the figure that was witnessing their sparring earlier back in the sparring room. Probably to identify how to fight, and defend herself. Either way though, Sonic had to admit, she looked so sexy as a dancer. He kinda wishes that he was her bouncer that is guarding her. Especially as he noticed her looking at him, and winked at him a few times.
Then there was another dancer that had his jaw dropping. She was a female Hedgehog like himself, who was tall, with sea-green fur and a round peach muzzle with a small black nose. Her long quills were a darker blue in color, and trailed down behind her back, resembling spikey hair with two shorter quills for bangs. She wore a belly dancer outfit that was a red strapless crop top, and a pink patterned loincloth sporting small daffodils at the waist, that also exposed a bit of her butt, and showed off her shapely posterior that was close to Rouge's in size. Her bust size; was an EE-Cup.
Sonic quickly knew her as Breezie, a beautiful Hedgehog lady that he used to have a crush on, until he learned about her affiliation to Robotnik. Which lead to their eventual breakup despite her attempt to have him come back to her side, leading to her rivalry with a certain Pink Hedgehog, as well as Sally. Seeing her now though, Sonic did wish that he was her boyfriend again, seeing how sexy she looked, and since he and Sally weren't together. Especially as he saw her looking at him, and winking at him as well.
He had to admit, he found those gestures from both dancers to be sexy. And he hopes that he would be either Rouge, or Breezie's boyfriend someday. Which can happen, since Sally isn't his girlfriend right now.
Then he looked at another dancer, whom is a Mongoose with yellow fur, and long violet hair, who had pairs of silver earrings on both her ears. She wore another belly dancer outfit that is a crop top that is violet in the front with black straps, and her loincloth was green and violet. Along with her curved shoes. She also wore white gloves connected to some arm veil sleeves. Her bust size; was E-Cup.
"Is that Mina Mongoose? I wonder if she sings in this world too?" Sonic asked Shahra.
"She does, Sonic. She's one of Egypt's great Singers after all." Shahra said.
"Ah, sweet! That's nice to know." He said to her in appraisal.
He did like her singing voice after all. And even though she might not be as sexy looking as either Rouge, or Breezie, he did feel that she was beautiful in her own right. So, he might go for her next if he isn't able to find romance with either Rouge, or Breezie. (Even though for the former, he felt that she can have Knuckles too if he gets the latter first.)
Then, he laid his eyes on another dancer, who was a Kitsune with yellowish-amber fur, who had two tails instead of one. She also had with white fur around her muzzle with cheek tufts, front torso with fluffy fur on top of her chest, and the tips of her tails, as well as the tips of her upper back length hair. She also has sky blue eyes, large triangular ears with white canals on top of her head, and a small black nose. She wore the same outfit that Rouge wore, as her hips were exposed, along with a bit of her bubbly buttcheeks, and her twin tails, while she had a see-through veil over her muzzle, and was holding another veil that is blue. Her bust size; was an EE-Cup.
She reminded Sonic of someone that he knew quite well. Or rather a pair of foxes that he knew well. And he saw that she's the dancer that he is assigned to.
"Whoa. She reminds me of Zooey from the same Island that Sticks is on. Not to mention Tails. In fact, I'm curious to see if Tails is gonna be her boyfriend if he isn't pining for Cosmo." Sonic said to himself.
"Tails, you say?" Shahra asked.
"Indeed him. My best friend, who is like a bro to me. And if he was here right now, and he saw her, he'd probably be nose bleeding at the sight of her." Sonic said with amusement, unaware of Shahra's confusion as she looked at him oddly.
"But she is here, Sonic." She spoke.
"Really? I don't see him here, only the dancers and the bouncers, and- wait. What?" He asked, having barely caught the 'she' part of what Shahra said.
"That's Tails right there, Sonic. A recent addition to this club, who works here as the newest dancer. How did you forget that?" Shahra asked confused after pointing to the girl Kitsune.
All while Sonic took another look at the Kitsune dancer, and saw that indeed, she looked like Tails if he was born a girl. And she was dancing on one of the platforms connected to some catwalks, as she not only danced, but also danced on her pole in his sight. All while shaking her butt for the audience, as well as wagged both of her tails for them as they cheered for her, and the other dancers. All while she also occasionally winked at her audience, and Sonic.
Which, was much to his shock when he figured it out.
"So, you mean… what you're saying… is that… TAILS IS A LADY IN THIS WORLD?!" He said in shock.
The music drowned out the yelling since it wasn't loud enough to be heard through it, at least if you're five meters away from the source, but it startled Shahra, among some others, like Knuckles.
"Are you okay Sonic? You seem like you saw something shocking." Knuckles said.
"I'm fine knuckles. Listen though, don't you notice that Tails is a girl?" Sonic asked.
"Of course she's a girl. And a hot one too. Why did you ask that?" Knuckles asked, confused, and weirded out by the question.
"N-no reason. J-Just making sure." Sonic said with a blush, knowing that Knuckles wouldn't know what he's talking about, which would make him feel like a dummy in front of Knuckles. (As if he wasn't enough of one as he currently is.)
And that's saying something, considering Knuckles' tendency to get duped by Eggman into fighting him a few times.
"By the way Sonic, she's looking at you." Knuckles said.
"Wha? Who?" He asked looking around, only to see eyes close to him.
Which belonged to Tails herself. Who was looking at him with a smile through her veil.
"So, you're my first bouncer, eh Sonic? If it isn't too much trouble, once we're done here, can you give me some pointers on some sexier dance moves to try out. There's… someone I'd like to impress." She spoke with a tiny blush.
"Y-you couldn't be referring to me, right?" Sonic asked with a stutter.
"Well, I could." She said, fluttering her eyelids towards him. Making him blush. "But I was mainly referring to her." Tails then spoke with a blush, pointing at someone else who was with the other dancer, being Mina.
Whom Sonic saw was Cosmo.
"It seems that Tails' love for her exists in this world as well. That's Tails alright." Sonic thought.
"Why me though?" He then asked.
"Well, considering that you worked here for a few years, you may have analyzed how the others can dance, have you not?" She responded.
That wasn't a bad answer, since if Sonic remembered his past times working here, he'd probably have seen the other dancers, and saw how their dancing was done when he watches them dance, as he protects them.
"Good point. But I can recommend her to teach you too. She should know enough as well, having danced here long enough." Sonic said, pointing to Rouge.
Tails looked at her for a bit, studying her for a moment at how well she looked, and dances. Before turning back to him with a smile. "That works too! Thanks Sonic!" She said before hugging him.
Much to his embarrassment, since he was hugged into Tails' chest as a result, before she kissed his cheek after moving her veil aside, then ended the hug before resuming her dance. (But not before she winked at him. Making him blush more.)
"Darn it. You're just my brother figure who's been turned into a girl. And you're making it pretty difficult not to see you as more than such." Sonic thought.
All while Shahra was amused at the scene. "I see that you've got yourself an admirer through her then, eh?" Knuckles said with Shahra in agreement.
Sonic blushed once again as he fumed with both anger, and embarrassment. "You do know that this 'admirer' was once a-"
"Sonic!" Ami's voice sounded, as she came up to him.
"Yes Ami?" Sonic asked respectfully, seeing a potential friend in Ami.
"I don't mean to interrupt your Bouncer work, but you've been called to Tawna's office. You might wanna go there now." Ami said.
"Don't worry dude, she's in good hands for now. Go on and see the boss." Knuckles said.
Sonic obeyed as he was now walking to the office room, which was in the top floor. "So, this Tawna, wants me in her office? I wonder what she wants?" Sonic wondered.
"I'm guessing she's interviewing you on your performance. Which so far, is good. So, your possibility of being fired is slim to none." Shahra said.
Sonic did feel relief at what she said. After all, the job as a bouncer was appealing, since he had pretty belly dancers to stare at, and defend. Especially Rouge, and Breezie. Sure, he was weirded out that Tails is female in this world, and is a dancer too, but it wasn't enough to repulse him from doing this job.
For now though, he was now in the elevator that was going up to Tawna's main office room. Where he was now merely wondering what she wanted from him until he got to her floor. Where after the doors opened, after a ding, he got into the room with Shahra, where he ended up looking around with awe on his face.
It was a penthouse room, as well as an office. With a pair of couches that was on the bottom of the descending floor in the center of the room, that was under an Egyptian light fixture that illuminated the entire room in a white light. Just north of the couches was an indoor pool that was currently full of water, but isn't occupied. To the north of it was a wall of glass that showed a lot of Agrabah. To its south-west, was a personal bar that has a variety of juices, like Orange, Apple, Grape, Cherry, and even Wumpa. As well as soda, and even the alcoholic beverages. Then to the south-east of the pool, there were a corner couch that was around a desk that had a computer on it, along with a pair of HD monitors on it.
And around the pool, was stairs that came to a second floor, likely leading to a bathroom, as well as a bedroom, and another office room.
Taking another look at the office desk though, Sonic saw that it had someone sitting there.
That someone was the blonde Bandicoot like on the sign. Her long hair was upper back length, and she had orange fur, a peach muzzle, green eyes and a small, blonde tail. And she was quite curvaceous herself, with a large bust, and big butt, yet she was slender, and tall herself. Her clothing consists of a rose red sleeveless shirt, blue knee length Egyptian dress skirt, and curved shoes. She also wore a dull rose eyeshadow, long eyelashes and red lipstick for her makeup. Her bust size; was an F-Cup.
She was working on the computer, when she saw Sonic. Causing her to smile. "Thank you for coming in, Sonic. Go on, sit." She requested.
Sonic obeyed and sat down.
"As you may know, I'm Tawna. Owner of this club, and occasional dancer myself, especially when I pull big show highlights. As for why I've got you here, well, I just wanted you to know that our club is doing well in the ratings. Not only that, but your reputation as a bouncer is quite great." She spoke.
"Thanks?" Sonic responded.
"At this rate, we could gain the notice of the Pharaoh, and possibly have him invited to our club. And trust me, if we perform well for him, he might make us his recommendation, which would mean more, and more customers, and more gold to roll in." She said with a smile. "I just want to let you know that you are gonna be given a raise at this rate. Along with any dancer that performs well. So, keep it up if you can. And maybe I could also let you into my pants, as well." She then said flirtatiously.
"Well, that's nice." Sonic said, while Shahra was grinning widely at the news. Even though both of them were also blushing at the flirting that she did too. "And thanks for the praise. Is that all you wanted to tell me before I go back to my job?"
"Actually, there was another thing I needed to ask." Tawna said seriously. "You see, you looked like you saw a ghost since you looked shocked as hell. Is there a legit reason why?" She asked.
Guessing that it could've been the cameras that showed her. Sonic decided to let her know why Shahra was startled.
"I know I sound crazy in saying this, but to be honest, I was just surprised that Tails was a girl in this world." Sonic said.
"And that's what startled you? That- Wait. You mean Tails isn't a girl in your world?" Tawna asked.
Sonic nodded. "He was a boy. And a smart one at that. Yet he's a lady here. Why do you ask?"
Tawna quickly got surprised at the response. "Oh my. So, it is true then. I never thought that I'd see this day coming!" She said amazed, yet delighted.
All while both Shahra, and Sonic was confused. "What day? And what's true?" Sonic asked.
"I was hoping that you would suddenly regain your lost memories, like I had. And once that happens, you could be the one that can undo all this. Let me explain." She then said.
"You see, you, and I, are in this world of Ancient Egypt. Not only that, but I'm sure you can notice some Anachronism all over the place, do you not?" Tawna asked.
Sonic nodded. "I have a feeling that Machines aren't in Ancient Egypt. And come to think of it, I feel that there were no neon lights here either. Just horses, elephants, and people. Not to mention no Pokémon."
"Well, I have an explanation for all this, and why you're here in this world. You see, this world is the result of a combination of ancient Egypt, and the other worlds, my own included. And I feel that your world got caught as well." Tawna explained. "I read about you and your world; in case you're wondering. As for why this happened, do you remember one of the Bandicoot dancers with the short blond, and blue hair?"
"You mean Dawn Bandicoot? Your Twin sister?" Sonic responded. While Shahra was still confused.
Tawna nodded in response. "She is now. But before this happened, she used to be my alternate dimensional self. Who I heard, was adventuring with Coco, one of the bouncers here, and Crash, my Boyfriend, who is so far, known as Sir Bandicoot that isn't appearing in this World." Tawna said deadpan.
Sonic was startled at the mention of her boyfriend, who just isn't around in this world. And she seemed to be dismayed about that. Showing that he might've been quite fond of that fellow. "So, you're saying that he is still in his world?"
"Either that, or he's still out there, having yet to show himself in Egypt. Not that it's gonna do me any good if the latter's the case, since he might not remember me either." Tawna said in dismay. Likely because she might've tried to tell the other Bandicoots who she is, and asked how they got here, but like himself, only got confused looks in return. "But back to the chase, I learned that there was a treasure that alt-me, that's my nickname for her by the way, has found. Which is some sort of glowing Ruby of power somewhere in the desert that she dug up. And that thing, is the cause of all this."
"A Ruby caused this?" Sonic asked, then he had a sudden thought that shocked him. "Hold on, you mean, Dawn found the Phantom Ruby?!"
"Yeah, that could be the name of it." Tawna responded. Confirming it to him. "I'm guessing you know of it?"
"How could I forget? There were times that I had a run-in with the Ruby itself, as well as some that used it." Sonic said, before explaining his past with the Ruby.
Which involved finding it on Angel Island alongside Tails when it first appeared there after making it fall, while it gave off an unusual energy to it. However, Eggman also investigated it, and was able to take it for himself, leading to him gaining a lot of power, forcing Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and their friends to make him let go of it, and try to destroy it.
Then the Phantom King came into the picture because of it, courtesy of the Heavy King from the Hard-boiled heavies that gained a will of their own through the Ruby's influence, but he beat them. Then a mercenary named Infinite got involved next, and initially clobbered him, but Sonic was able to fight back after recovering, and win the second time. After that, they fought Eggman again to win, and seemingly destroyed the Ruby, only for it to again pop up in Sonic's world, get taken by the Hard-boiled heavies again, and then get taken by Eggman again, only for him to lose once again, despite using its full power.
This time, the Ruby ended up going out of control and created a space-time rift that began to suck in everything around it, including Eggman, and Sonic, and his friends, but they were able to become Super, and was able to escape after Eggman got knocked into the rift. After that, they all thought that was it for the Ruby.
Once Sonic was done, Tawna was surprised at the history that Sonic had with the Ruby. "Wow. That's an amazing story. And I'm guessing you thought the Ruby was gone at that point?"
"Uh-huh. But I'm being proven wrong, since we're here." Sonic said deadpan. "And since the Ruby is known for its shocking power to where it can actually augment reality, I'm certain that it may have created this out of some sort of wish that alt-you made. Like maybe she said something off the cuff, and this happened as a result."
"Well, I suppose if I were to have learned about it at the time, I would've been determined to meet alt-me, then tell her to leave it alone, or something bad will happen. But here we are. It's not a bad place I admit, in fact, it looks like a nice place to live, but I admit, I do miss my old home. And my old boyfriend." Tawna said, somberly looking at her pants.
"Well, don't worry. Hopefully we may find the Ruby someday, and maybe it could be obedient enough to undo all this by my wish. How else can this be undone otherwise?"
"Well, here's something that I remember from the storybook, and that animated movie about it. The princess of this kingdom is gonna be married. Then she may become a Queen with the Pharaoh of her choice." Tawna said.
"So, following the story, I may need to marry her to fix this?" Sonic asked intrigued.
"Yes, but there's more than that. You see, word on the street says that the princess is a magical one, as well."
"So, the magical princess is going to be Queen someday? And she happens to be like a wizard, or a genie? How interesting." Sonic said.
"And it's getting more interesting. You see, once she becomes Queen, and once she's married, she ends up becoming a genie. But not just any genie, she becomes a goddess too." Tawna said, smiling. "And once she marries, and becomes such, she can grant her husband a wish. A wish, that is capable of bending reality to their will. And you could be the Pharaoh that she'll grant a wish to."
Sonic quickly got intrigued and delighted at what he was told. It seemed that he has found a seemingly easier way to return to Mobius with his friends. Sure, Agrabah is nice to be in, so far, but he was sure that there is going to be catches to living here. The first, being that the evil Vizier is around, and Sonic must find out who he is, and beat him, before he gets the drop on Sonic, and kills him. There's also the concern of whatever dimensional instability that could come from living in this reality that's made from the Phantom Ruby's power, that involves the book of Aladdin if it took place in Egypt.
Not to mention the fact that Tails is a girl in this dimension.
"So, what you're saying, is that I can undo all this, by marrying the princess? That's great!" Sonic said delighted. While Shahra was still confused. "Is there a catch though?"
"None whatsoever." Tawna said, then a sudden thought occurred. "Actually, let me rephrase that. There is none, if any of us is in your place."
"What? Why?" He asked.
"It's pretty simple, knowing you. But I'll leave it to you to find out, and then decide from there. But I'm sure that you're not going to like who became the Princess in this world." Tawna responded. "Don't worry though, it isn't Elise, or a Female Eggman."
"Well, ain't that a relief to know." Sonic spoke relieved. After all, Elise is nice and all, and he did have some fun with her, but he too thought that the romance with her, was awkward, and too unusual to be romantic. He's a Hedgehog, and she's a human girl after all. (Albeit one that got kidnapped a lot. Which got on his nerves.) And he would rather not think about what Eggman looks like if he was born a girl. (And less said about how his friends would react to him and Eggman together, the better.) "But no matter who is princess, I'll see to it that I'll swallow my dislike, and let myself marry her if it'll mean that my world will be free again."
"Are you sure Sonic? If you want, I could have someone else do it for you, and have them make your wish in your place-"
"That's not necessary!" He said determined, interrupting Tawna. "After all, whoever this princess is, can't be bad enough to make this wish not so worth it. So, it has to be me to make this wish. Who else will, if it isn't?"
Tawna was surprised at the response that he gave, but she was in approval, feeling that even if that princess was annoying in the past for him, she knew he has a heart of gold for her.
"Very well Sonic, just propose, put the ring on her finger, and let the wedding go all the way to the end, and she'll become the Goddess that can help get us out of this world. Just don't forget, you chose this path. There's no going back after that." Tawna said, smiling at him for his determination to free his world even if she knew that he could be annoyed at who would be princess in this world. But she is sure that he'll find love with her, nonetheless, since he doesn't hate her guts in his world, he just finds her annoying on occasion.
"I understand." Sonic said, feeling that he has made a promise that he must keep. A vow he needs to hold. An oath he cannot break. (Without dying that is.)
"What are you both talking about?!" Shahra asked, having heard the whole thing. And was confused as all heck throughout it all.
"Oh, sorry Shahra, forgot you were there for a second there." Tawna said, startled at her outburst. "Let's just say what we're talking about is too complicated to explain without having hours pass by."
Shahra was dismayed at the response. But she felt that she can get her answers next time.
"By the way Sonic. I see that you have a ring with a yellow gem on it?" Tawna asked.
"Why of course he does." Shahra responded. "It's one of the six chaos rings. We were able to… find it." Shahra said. Refusing to tell Tawna that they stole it from a Merchant.
Which was a motion that Sonic echoed. He too didn't want Tawna to know about their thievery of the ring, and probably punish them for it.
"One of the six chaos rings? Interesting. You know Sonic, there was a rumor of a hidden power that exists in those rings, like that one." Tawna said.
Much to his surprise. "There is?"
She nodded. "Apparently, they can also have the power to recover someone's memories. Don't ask how, it's just something they can do for some reason."
Sonic was intrigued. If it was true, then that must mean he has a way to remind his friends of himself, and their past with him. Which left him wondering if it could include Shahra.
Only one way to find out. "Hey Shahra, can you hold my hand?" He asked.
Shahra wondered why he wanted to hold her by her hand. But she didn't refuse. "Okay." She said as she held her hand out for him to grab.
By the time he grabbed her hand with the hand that wore the ring, at first, nothing happened. Just them holding hands. Much to both of their confusion.
"Well, I don't know about you, but the memory restoration power is seemingly just a lot of hoop-" Sonic began saying, when Shahra suddenly had her eyes widening with a gasp, as she stood in place like a statue.
All while the ring also glowed a bit. Which Sonic knew, was because its magic was now taking effect. And Shahra was already feeling it.
Now he was waiting for the effect to end so that he can talk to her once she refocuses. Which she was able to once the flashbacks ended.
"Do you remember me now, Shahra?" He asked.
When she focused on him, she looked at him with recognition. "Sonic? Y-you're back!" She said, hugging him. "I'm glad to see you again, Sonic."
"Likewise, Shahra. I admit, it's nice to be here with you as my companion again." Sonic said, returning his own hug.
Which she accepted, before she ended up looking at her surroundings. "Where are we though? Did we somehow end up in Egypt?"
"Indeed Shahra." Tawna said. Surprised that the ring actually regained her memories. "Or rather, what Agrabah looks like if it's a story set in Egypt. And I see you now remember Sonic?"
Shahra nodded. "How could I forget our adventures together, as we fought against Erazor Djinn?" She spoke. Before explaining for a moment about her journey with Sonic. Which involved her temporary death, before her revival from Erazor's forced wish after his defeat.
Then a look of worry came across her face once she was done. "S-Speaking of whom, h-has he escaped his lamp?" She asked.
Both of them shrugged. "I don't think either of us met him, so I don't know." Sonic said.
"Indeed Sonic. But I'm sure you can still beat him. Right?" Tawna asked confidently.
Sonic nodded with his traditional grin that had both ladies wanting to smile back. "Dang right. He better watch out if he doesn't want to get his a-"
"Tawna! Is Sonic here?! We have a little situation here!" Ami said on speaker, interrupting Sonic.
"Sonic is on it, just hold on!" Tawna responded seriously. "You know what to do."
"Right!" Sonic said as he sped to one of the elevators alongside Shahra, before having it go down.
Where when he got to the main area of the club, he saw that there was a gang of four drunkards causing a scene, and trying to get into the panties of a nervous Tails, who was being covered on her chest by a blanket.
And seeing one of the drunks holding a top, Sonic understood why.
"I'm tellin ya, we just want to get into her loincloth. We even offered her plenty of money for it." One of the thugs said, trying to get past Knuckles.
"And I'm telling you, she's a dancer here, not a hooker!" Knuckles responded, keeping them away from Tails, who was hoping that none of them will get to her to strip her naked, and force her to pleasure them.
Sonic was not happy about what they intended to do to Tails. So, he didn't hesitate to assist Knuckles against them as he put his speed to use.
He proceeded to, in quick succession, punch the one that was fighting Knuckles in the face, kicked the second one in the stomach, before quickly uppercutting him, then he kicked the third guy in the left cheek to stun him, before kicking his keister, (literally) then he headbutted the fourth one in the nose to knock him down.
Then with the extra burst of speed from the ring he had, he was able to snatch Tails' top from the guy's hand without it tearing in half, before running back to Tails.
"Here ya go." He said, handing her the top.
Tails looked at him in awe at seeing his speed. But was able to refocus, then took back her top from him, before putting it back on after turning around to show him just her back after taking off her blanket. But she didn't have her top on all the way by the time the drunks were up and ready for more, despite the hits they took.
"Drats! It's the dreaded blue blurred Hedgehog of this club! How did we not see ya coming!?" One of the thugs said. "No matter, maybe the title was just making your rep up, and you're just an inexperienced, weakling! Mind if we prove it?!"
Sonic merely smiled back in a challenging stance. Feeling excited to put them in their place, and show them that his rep is not just all bark if they catch his drift. All while Knuckles was also in his own stance, prepared to take them down too.
They all tried to charge Sonic, but he continued to use his speed to continue his fighting back, beginning with using his homing attack to bonk some of them on their heads. While Knuckles was also using his fists against the others as he fought too, with Shahra not far behind as she too brought her own fight to the thugs herself, with her own weapon, being her bo staff.
Cosmo also joined in, as she used her own staff against them too. Thus, ensuring that the fight isn't going to end in the Thug's favor, but rather Sonic's. Especially since she's shown good skill in using it against them.
Pretty soon, they were now unconscious as they were now dragged out of the club. While Sonic was grinning at his, Cosmo's, Shahra's, and Knuckles' handiwork as they were high fiving each other.
"I have to say, you were good with that staff." Sonic said to Cosmo with Knuckles in agreement.
Cosmo made a tiny blush in response. "I learned from the great staff wielders after all." She spoke. "Thank you by the way, for protecting Tails from them."
"No problem." Sonic said. "It's something that a friend like me would do for his little bro- I mean, best friend after all." He said, not wanting to sound like he's nuts.
"Uh, Sonic?" Tails' voice said before the conversation could continue. Causing him to turn to her.
While she still had her top untied as she was now turning to show it to him. "Can you tie my top up please?" She asked.
Sonic was blushing, and trying not to nosebleed at what he was asked to do. Even though he was going to go through with it when Cosmo came to her. "Let me try, Tails." She spoke.
Before she got behind her, and was able to tie her top securely in place. Much to her delight. "There."
"Thank you, C-Cosmo." Tails said with a blush.
Cosmo hugged her in response. "No problem. I told you you're in good hands in this club." She spoke.
"I thought so too. I'm glad that you're right in this case." Tails said.
All while Sonic was looking at them in surprise. It seems that they knew each other, even before this world's Tails became a dancer. It was like they were friends, and roommates, or co-workers before this. And before Sonic even regained his old memories.
"B-By the way Cosmo. I'm gonna get some p-pointers in dancing more sexily. D-do you mind if I dance for you someday on our off days? Just to show what I've learned." Tails asked with a blush.
Cosmo smiled back in response. "That'd be nice Tails. I can't wait to see how you would perform at your best. As well as at your sexiest." She said huskily on the last part, making Tails blush.
Sonic had to admit, he was feeling like Tails got lucky to have Cosmo, even if he is a girl in this dimension.
Once things went back to normal in the room, and when the girls were now back to dancing again with the protection of the bouncers, Sonic was now just minding his own business, and protecting Tails, while also conversating with Shahra on how he got here, as well as on, the Ruby.
"So what you're saying, is that the Ruby sent you, and your friends here? And because of someone else grabbing it?" Shahra asked surprised.
"Yep. That's the gist of it." He responded. "And now I must find it, or marry a princess of this kingdom if I am to gain a wish that could undo all this."
Shahra couldn't resist smiling at him, feeling that he is a lucky hedgehog for having such an opportunity. "Who is the lucky princess you're gonna meet, sometime soon?"
"Beats me, but I hope she could be beautiful. Even though I think it could be her." Sonic said, referring to Sally, when the lights got dim.
"And now, the moment you've all been waiting for, it's time for our highlight of this club!" Another voice sounded, gaining the attention of the crowd. "Give it up for our star, and owner of the Moulin Cortex, Tawna Bandicoot!"
The curtains of the stage that connected to the catwalks ended up parting, showing Tawna herself, only she had a change in outfits. Now she was wearing probably the skimpiest, and naughty of the outfits. With a red skimpy crop top with a swirl design on her top, while it was also lined with gold coins, and a thong that showed her bubbly butt, as well as her tail, as it was only covered by a see-through nightie veil that trailed from her breasts down to her upper knees. She also wore gold bracelets, and earrings as well, among other jewelry That was on her outfit.
And she was dancing, and showing herself off as the highlight of the club as she was also dancing on her pole. Sonic had to admit, there was a reason she was known as the highlight of the club, after all. Even though both Breezie, and Rouge, were a close second in his eyes. (And possibly in a few of the crowd members' eyes as well.)
In fact, Sonic did find her sexy as well, and he hiddenly hoped to hook up with her, but he knew that he has a princess to hook up with, later on. And if what she says is true, that her boyfriend is out there in Egypt, then Sonic felt that it'd be better to just let her go, in case Tawna, and her boyfriend meets again.
For now though, they were just looking at her, as she danced for the crowd, shaking her hips around, and even waving her hands, and arms around in her belly dancing motions, while she even shook her butt for the audience too. Even the girls, and some of the dancers, thought she was pretty. Which included Shahra, Tails, and Cosmo.
It seemed to Sonic, that even the girls like Tails, Cosmo, and even Rouge, was fond of her.
"Hope you both enjoy your stay in our room. Hope that little incident won't plague your upcoming years as this club's up and coming dancer." Tawna said, making her king size bed.
"It's no problem, Tawna. It's just a minor incident that Sonic saved me from. I'm sure it won't happen again while he's here." Tails said from the bathroom that was near Tawna's bedroom as she took her shower.
Speaking of whom though, they were invited with himself, back into Tawna's office room. Where they ended up later learning that all of them were invited to stay the night in her private room with her.
Which shocked Sonic when he was told that he also occasionally lives with her in the club, while occasionally going to his lair that he just left when he woke, to live in it. Sure, his lair is his home, but so is the club that he works in, and he shares a room with Tawna.
He didn't think that when he came to Agrabah, that he would end up sharing a room with someone like Tawna. Let alone her, Cosmo, and Tails. Not that he's complaining he admits, after seeing how good the former looked.
And since her penthouse over her club wasn't bad on the eyes either. And in this world, it was his, and Tawna's.
And they were sharing with the aforementioned Cosmo, and Tails, when Tawna invited both of them to her room to stay the night. If only to make it up to Tails for losing her top to the drunkards that tried to get into her panties.
Which works for Sonic, since he has his opportunity to test the ring out again, on Tails.
Which he took after Tails was now out of the shower, and was now in her nightie, while Cosmo was helping Tawna with making her bed. "Say Tails, mind if I hold your hand a minute?" He asked, holding out his hand with the ring on it.
Tails blushed with a smile at that offer., thinking he was wanting hers for a different reason. "Oh Sonic, you're so romantic. Not that I mind." She said before letting him hold her hand. All while Tawna knew what was happening, as she watched.
At first, nothing happened. But the ring ended up glowing, and Tails stood in place like a statue for a moment as she felt the flashbacks hitting her. Much to Cosmo's concern when she saw her freeze. And soon, she was now refocused as she looked around.
Then she saw Sonic. "Sonic? Is it really you?" She asked.
He nodded. "Nice to meet you too, buddy." He spoke. "How are ya feeling?"
"I'm feeling fine, yet… I feel so weird." Tails said, noticing how high pitched her voice was. "Why do I feel odd?"
Sonic was stifling any laughter that was coming to him. He was already feeling amused at the reaction of Tails' when she finds out that she's a girl now. But at the same time, he sympathized with him, as he felt that he might freak out too if he was a girl instead. Which would've been amusing to his friends, he thinks.
"Don't freak out, but you might wanna look in the mirror for an answer." Sonic said, trying not to smile big enough for Tails to see.
Tails ended up obeying after some hesitation, before he ended up going back into the bathroom to look in the mirror, with Sonic, and Cosmo, following him into there.
Once she looked into the mirror, she was surprised. "Wow. Who's that sexy looking fox? She looks so… wait…" He then said, when she saw that the reflection in the mirror was speaking back to her, and was copying her motions when she was moving around herself to see if it is truly her reflection.
Which, after some more moving, Tails ended up gasping in shock at what he figured out. "Is… is that me? And… I'm… I'm a girl?!"
"Pretty much. I was as shocked as you when I found out." Sonic said.
Tails couldn't respond as he still was gaping a bit at what he was seeing, being himself as a female, before shaking like a leaf, like he was about to freak out. Which was both amusing, yet concerning for Sonic.
"Tails?"
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" *Thump*
Tails proceeded to scream like a girl. (So to speak.) Before fainting from the sight. Thankfully, nobody was deaf after that.
The glass of the mirror, was a different story though.
"Aw come on! Now I need some replacements!" Tawna complained after seeing the cracks in the mirror.
All while Sonic was basically unable to stop himself, as he was rolling on the floor laughing at what has transpired. While Cosmo was cradling Tails, hoping that she was alright.
*Later*
After some removal of the mirror glass, in preparation of replacing, and after some berating from Cosmo, Shahra, and Tawna, towards Sonic, Tails was awake again, and saw that she was still a girl. Much to her dismay.
But she didn't freak out again, as she, and Cosmo, (Who was also given back her memories.) was now being explained the events by Sonic, and Tawna as they were now in bed together.
"S-So what you're saying, is that we're sent here by that Ruby?" Tails asked.
"Yep. And right when we all thought that Ruby was gone, too." Sonic said in dismay. "And now it's out there, along with the chaos rings that I might need to collect as well."
"And you feel that you can undo all this, also by marrying a princess?" Cosmo asked.
Sonic nodded. "How do you feel now, so far?" He then asked Tails.
"I k-kinda admit, there's much worse fates than being a girl. S-So I don't feel awful. Even though I hope that what happens here in Agrabah, stays in Agrabah." Tails said to him, hoping he won't be telling their friends of this fact when they're back in Mobius.
Which, Sonic doesn't plan to. He has his moments, but he isn't mean enough to humiliate Tails like this.
"But why am I a girl, though?" Tails then asked.
Sonic shrugged. "I don't know. The Ruby might've changed you into such, by accident. Like how alt-Tawna might've wished for a chance to save a damsel with me, and you were chosen by accident? But it's just a guess, I don't know."
"Oh well, at least I'm with you, Cosmo." Tails then said happily, hugging Cosmo on the bed, making her blush.
Yet she also smiled back at him. "Likewise, Tails. I'm glad that we're together again."
Tails smiled at that fact, despite the tears in her eyes. "I'm so sorry Cosmo, Dark Oak gave us no choice. I had to."
"And I forgive you. Like you said, he gave you no choice. And neither did I. But with me back, I hope that we won't separate ever again from here on out." Cosmo responded.
"I hope so too." Tails said, before they kissed, and hugged each other. Uncaring of the fact that they're both girls as they let their tears flow.
While Sonic, Shahra, and Tawna, were touched at the sight of them together, and kissing. With Sonic especially feeling delighted to see them together again. He did find them adorable together after all.
Once they were done after a few minutes of hugging, and after the bed was fully made, the gang was now in bed with Tawna, ready to rest off their night in the club.
With each of them now in pajamas courtesy of Tawna's wardrobe. Even though they mainly consisted of nighties, modest bras, and panties for them, and some boxers for Sonic. (Which did provoke some eye candy for them. With even Tails drooling a bit at Sonic's good looks.) Before they were all now in bed.
While Shahra was now in her ring.
"So Sonic, how do you plan on meeting the princess?" Tawna asked.
Sonic had to think about it for a few moments. "She's probably going to get out of the palace, and into the city where I roam. Maybe I can get lucky and meet her there."
"Otherwise?" Tails asked.
"I could try to sneak into her room? I'll try to figure it out tomorrow." He spoke, ending the discussion there. "Good night, guys."
"Good night, Sonic." They responded.
And soon, all of them were now asleep, wondering what the next day would bring them.

And yes, Tails has been given the rule 63 treatment, and is made into a lady in this fic. I thought that it'd be amusing to have him become such. But at least he has Cosmo with him again.
As for who is going to be the princess, well, I think it's obvious who, so I ain't spoiling it here. Just know that indeed, Sonic is going to be in for a surprise.
Also, little trivia. The phantom Ruby being responsible for this, was from a drawing board idea that edowdle told me, was unable to get off the ground for him. I decided to try that idea out for this story.
