Sonic, Shahra, Blaze, and the dancers were in the Oasis, as they looked on in worry, at the Scorpion that currently had Amy in its claws, after they got the Ring that they needed.
Sonic was worried that Amy could end up getting killed by the Scorpion, as was the dancers that followed him, and Amy, as they were preparing for their fight against the Scorpion, alongside Sonic.
Who was also prepared to save Amy from the Scorpion, and get the Ring back as well, and he wasn't going to hesitate in doing that, as he knew that hesitating would be a detriment to saving Amy, and his chances to return to Mobius, while returning the others to their worlds too.
Which was why, he was determined to fight alongside the dancers in order to get the Princess back, as he was now running after the Scorpion as it tried to retreat, with the dancers, and Blaze, close behind.
"Help me! All of you must save me!" Amy called out, trying to get herself out of its claws as the ring was still in her dress, having put it in there before her kidnapping.
None of them needed to be told twice as they were now running, then flying alongside Sonic as he ran fast towards the Scorpion's retreating form alongside Blaze. While the Scorpion shot its missiles at them in response.
"That creature has to be summoned forth, by the evil vizier. It seems that he might be like Erazor Djinn in that he has his monsters to summon too." Shahra said.
"If that is the case, then could it be him? No, it can't be. He has to still be trapped in his lamp." Sonic said, feeling disbelief, and nervousness at the thought.
"Either way, we must take it down, and save her. Or she may die." Shahra said.
"Right!" Sonic said, as the Scorpion shot out its missiles at him, and the dancers.
Which, Sonic, and the dancers dodged as they chased the Scorpion, and was able to catch up with it due to Sonic's speed.
Where, after they got close, Sonic used his homing attack on the Scorpion's eyes, remembering that they're its weak spot. "Aim for the eyes! That's how you'll hurt it!" He called out.
The dancers obliged, as Carmelita used her crossbow bolts on it, while Krystal shot some fire blasts out of her staff, while Hertia, and Galaxina summoned some flowers to shoot out some thorns at the eyes. All while Blaze also did her own homing attack on it, while using her sword on its eyes.
Which proceeded to hurt it, like Sonic expected. Before it then attacked back with its stingers and energy bolts. And made grabs at Sonic with its claws, almost like it was trying to take him too.
All of which, Sonic, Blaze, and all of the dancers, were able to dodge, before continuing with their assault, with Sonic continuing his homing attacks on the Scorpion to hurt it, and save Amy.
"Keep hurting it, guys! Especially you, Sonic! You all can do it!" Amy said, rooting for him to save her life.
A gesture that Sonic was delighted to get as he fought against the Scorpion alongside the dancers, as they continued to hit the eyes.
The Scorpion responded with attempting to use its stingers on Sonic, and the dancers, as well as using its missiles on them. And continued to try to grab Sonic as well. But all of the attacks were dodged by Sonic, and Blaze, while the dancers were barely able to dodge them.
The Scorpion didn't give up that easily though, as it kept on running with Princess Amy in its claws, and continuing to fight back against the dancers, Blaze, and Sonic. It even used its free claw to try to either hit Sonic, and co. with it, or grab another one to kidnap alongside the Princess. Which could include Sonic as well.
It was too bad that it couldn't do the latter. But it succeeded in the former, as it hit Liz as she tried to catch up with it. But she was helped back into the fray by Galaxina, and her vines. Much to her relief. "Thanks mate." She said.
"No problem." Galaxina responded, as they continued to battle the Scorpion.
Which continued to swing its claw at them, while keeping Amy secure in the other claw, trying not to let her go. While continuing to run, like it was trying to get away from Sonic and Co. With none of them giving up on their chase.
"Let her go!" Blaze demanded, continuing to attack the Scorpion. But it ignored her as it tried to run, and escape from her, Sonic, and the dancers.
Which was next to impossible for the latter to happen, considering the obvious reason why Sonic is continuing to catch up to it. Alongside Blaze since she kept up with him, alongside the dancers.
So the Scorpion upped its defense with its stingers being used against them too. But they continued to dodge them as they tried to make the Scorpion let go of Amy. Whom was still tightly gripped by the claw as it was running and defending itself with its stingers.
One of which, grazed Carmelita when it tried to sting Krystal, causing the former to push her out of the way, causing her to take a graze to her back. Thankfully, it was a graze, and the stinger wasn't able to inject any poison into her because of it, so she was fine. But it still angered Amy, as she tried to struggle out of the Scorpion's claws.
Albeit without success, as Sonic, and Co. continued to fight the Scorpion for Amy. Who continued to struggle out of the claws.
All while the Scorpion continued to try to sting the group, swing its free claw at them, and Sonic in its attempt to take them, and shoot its missiles at them too. But it continued to miss them all as they continued to fight against it as it was dashing away, forcing Sonic and Co. to go faster to catch up to the Scorpion.
Meanwhile, not too far away from the chase, another figure was riding on a motorcycle as she was travelling through the desert on her way to Agrabah.
She was a female hedgehog, who happened to be a slender, yet curvy hedgehog, with bright fuchsia fur, pink hair-like quills in a style of straight spikes and full fringes, peach skin on her muzzle, and black eyes. She currently wore a dark red, sleeveless top, and modest baggy pants that trailed to her shins below her knees, and was underneath her cloak that she was wearing her clothes under, like a traveler's outfit. And she wore a necklace that looked to be a Gem that was also a bright fuchsia color.
And she was currently travelling through the desert like she was travelling to Agrabah, as she was looking around at the sights on her way there.
"This place must've been pretty, back then." She said, having a southern belle accent. "Ah do hope this place can get resettled someday." She then said, feeling sympathy for those that used to live in this place.
Nevertheless, she was there not just for the sights. She was there to travel to Agrabah too, so she was continuing to travel to that place on her motorcycle.
At least, until she ended up feeling some rumbling, as well as heard some noises that sounded like a battle was not too far from her. And she started to realize, that the battle was starting to get closer to her location.
Soon, she saw that a battle was indeed getting closer, with a Scorpion that was running her direction, as it was chased by a bunch of figures, much to her surprise, and shock, as she rode her bike away from the direction of where the Scorpion was going, hoping that she isn't going to get caught in the scuffle, or in the Scorpion's claws.
Her bike zoomed fast away from them as the Scorpion was now passing by her, along with the figures, that she guessed were dancers, that followed a blue hedgehog that was fast, and a lilac cat that jumped far, as they kept up with the Scorpion, trying to take it down with the dancers' and the cat knight's help. Much to her surprise as she watched the battle, wondering, and hoping if the Scorpion is going to go down.
Which, is what Sonic intended to do to it, once it lets go of Amy. He just needed an idea on how he can make the Scorpion let go of Amy, while taking it down too.
That was when he had an idea.
He could use his tornado attack on the Scorpion to see if the wind will force it to let go of Amy. And considering that he has a team, and his speed ring, he knew that it could be pulled off.
"Hey Amy, might wanna cover your face!" Sonic said.
Amy obeyed, as she had her cloak that wasn't caught by the claw over her face, wondering what Sonic was going to do, as Sonic was now ready to execute the plan.
So, he used the ring in order to zoom right around the Scorpion, and create a cyclone that started to push the Scorpion upwards by a minute since it was heavy, so its ascent was slow as it was buffeted by sand. All while Amy was confused as to what Sonic was planning in making the cyclone. Once he knew the cyclone was up, he zoomed back to the dancers.
Then, he ended up zooming into the cyclone, where he was now floating over the Scorpion that still had a hold over Amy. Before he was now using his homing attack against the Scorpion, in a barrage, as he hit the Scorpion all over his body, especially on his claw, in hopes that it'll force it to let go of Amy, so he can save her from it, while it tried to fight back against him, trying to snap at him with its claw.
"WAAAHHHHHHHH!" She yelled out, in the cyclone. Hoping that she won't be harmed by the cyclone. All while she kept her face covered so that she won't get sand in her eyes.
The Scorpion was now loosening its grip on Amy due to the pounding it was getting, before Amy was feeling herself starting to slip. Soon, Sonic had his opportunity. As he was now zooming to her, before taking her by her hand to pull her out of the Scorpion's claw in order to save her, and zoom back out, feeling confident that he also defeated the Scorpion.
Even though, the Scorpion still tried to grab Amy, and Sonic, but Sonic was able to pull her into his arms, and run out of the grabbing range, even though the Scorpion grabbed her dress' bottom part. Causing it to rip off when Sonic had her pulled away to safety from the Scorpion, as the cyclone started to fade.
All while the figure that was witnessing the whole battle from the sidelines, was in awe at what she was seeing as she saw a blue figure leaving the cyclone.
Soon, he was on the ground with Amy safely put in his arms, as the cyclone ended up fading, causing the Scorpion to fall to the floor from a high place, defeated as it laid down. Much to the joy of Blaze, and the dancers as they were cheering Sonic for saving their Princess. And for getting the Chaos Ring back from the Scorpion, too.
Whom, was noticing her dress being ruined.
"You've done well, Sonic! You saved the princess before that thing could kidnap her, and take her to whoever sent it!" Blaze said, appraisingly.
"No problem." Sonic said, before focusing on Amy. "Are you okay? Listen, I am so sorry that if I was mean to you. I was just… let's just say that I often had lousy times with a certain number one fan of mine, who chased after me for love, and you know how-" He tried to say.
Only to be shushed by Amy, who's eyes were in shadows, so she didn't show her eyes to him, and her dancers, as they were wondering what she was thinking.
"You don't need to apologize, as you saved me. Which shows me, that you obviously seem to like me too, do you not?" Amy asked softly.
Sonic nodded, wondering why the desert was starting to get a bit chillier around them. While the dancers, and Blaze, were suddenly noticing that Amy's dress was torn from the below her lower back. Which had them all shaking with nervousness at what was going to happen as they noticed how angry Amy was, seeing her arms shaking.
"Then why is it, that my dress is ruined?" Amy then asked, obviously sounding annoyed at him, yet judging by her shaking arms, it was an understatement.
"Your dress?" He asked, now noticing her dress, which was now torn, and showing off her panties.
"Oh no. Sonic, might want to run." Blaze said nervously.
"Huh?" Sonic asked as he was confused at what she said that for, when he also noticed her arms shaking, showing that she was keeping her tone civil, and her stance wasn't showing any aggression, yet her arms shaking was betraying her inner fire that was lit inside her.
And she was now showing her anger to him, with her eyes now glaring at him with fire in her eyes, as she then had her hammer out.
"Both of you ruined my dress! Do you know, HOW EXPENSIVE THE MATERIAL IS!?" She yelled out, as Sonic was now running, with Amy in hot pursuit with her hammer out, trying to smoosh him.
Which was much to his, and Shahra's nervousness, as they were both now running from Amy. Who was slamming her hammer into the ground, trying to smash him, while the dancers were trying in vain to calm her down. All while Shahra also pulling Sonic along to keep him in balance just in case he starts to stumble.
"GET BACK HERE, SONIC!" She demanded, as Sonic continued to run.
"Even in this world, she has that dang hammer! Now you see why I said she's dangerous once that hammer is out?" He asked Shahra.
Who was nodding in understanding, as they both were chased down by Amy, who continued to swing around her hammer against him, as she chased after him. While that was happening, the Scorpion was still alive, and was starting to rise upwards, trying to start a fight again.
Only for Sonic to jump on its back, before Amy then swung her hammer down on the Scorpion. That was when, in her tantrum, she was wailing on the Scorpion with her hammer, as she kept on swinging it down on the Scorpion, basically flattening its front into a pancake as it bled on the sandy floor of the desert, showing that it was definitely dead.
"THIS! IS! FOR! MY! DRESS! AND FOR KIDNAPPING ME!" She yelled out as she wailed on the Scorpion.
By the time she was done, the Scorpion was basically mangled. And Amy was now taking deep breaths to breathe out her remaining angry wrath. Now she was calming down from her tantrum, before she was now putting away her hammer, before looking at her nervous dancers. "Okay. I'm done." She casually said, a little tiredly.
The dancers were relieved that her anger has vanished, while Sonic was nervously looking over from the remains of the Scorpion, hoping that Amy could be calmed down, when she looked at him.
"Come down here Sonic! Don't worry, I won't hurt you!" She called out to him as her dancers were walking to her side.
As nervous as Sonic is, he took her word for it, as he was getting off the remains of the Scorpion, before he was now standing before Amy. Who, even though she was still showing remnants of her anger, she was now calmer than last time, before she then kissed Sonic again.
"Thank you, nevertheless, for rescuing me from the Scorpion. I knew you would do it." She said, smiling at him.
"N-No problem. I'll take that as a sign that you're calm now?" He asked.
She nodded. "I may look like your typical damsel, but that doesn't mean that I can't take care of myself."
Before Sonic could even think about saying a word, she swiftly shushed him. "Before you start to say, 'But you still got taken by that Scorpion.' let me tell you a little known fact. Being that it caught us by surprise. And surprise attacks that nobody expects, especially from a strong foe, usually ends up making even the toughest, strongest warrior become a damsel in need of saving, once they get captured in his enemy's clutches. Even my knights learned that the hard way, after all."
"That… makes sense. Fair point." Sonic said, remembering having been captured before. "I'm sorry that I was mean to you before this."
"Apology accepted. After all, you're definitely a hero if saving me is any indication. And you're still a handsome hedgehog." She said with a smile, making him blush. "However, that doesn't mean, that you're getting away with this, unpunished." She then said, referring to her ripped dress.
Much to Sonic and Shahra's dismay, and horror. "What?! But-"
"Now don't you worry. I am grateful for your save, which is why I decided to delay the punishment for later, probably tomorrow, or a few days." She interrupted.
Which did bring some relief to Sonic, and Shahra, even though he knew that his punishment is coming, nonetheless. (Even though he hoped she'd forget about it later on.) "That's… a relief. For now. But why?"
"Because unlike the brattier, spoiled rotten, ungrateful Princesses in some stories I read, I still acknowledge your rescue, regardless. And I'd rather show how grateful I am, and reward you first, while saving the punishment for later." Amy said smiling.
Sonic accepted the answer. Despite still dreading what Amy plans to do to him as punishment over a ripped dress of all things. But as long as it doesn't involve death, or a lot of pain, then he'll take whatever she plans on dishing out to him.
All while the dancers were relieved that their Princess was no longer planning to try to execute the handsome blue hedgehog that saved her life, as they each gave their congrats, and praise to Sonic for the save. Which he took with appreciation alongside Shahra.
"Hello there. Aren't you the princess of Agrabah?" A new voice sounded, causing them to turn to see who spoke.
Which was the female fuchsia furred hedgehog that was now dismounting her bike as she was walking to them. Whom, was quite familiar to Sonic as he looked at her in shock.
"Is that… Sis?!" He thought.
"Why yes. Who might you be?" Amy asked.
The female hedgehog smiled at the reply. "My name is Sonia. I'm from a noble family in a city that isn't too far from Agrabah. And I was coming here, knowing that I can go to Agrabah from here." The hedgehog known as Sonia, replied.
Which confirmed Sonic's suspicions. It was indeed his sister that was here in this World too. And he was surprised at that, as he then wondered where his brother could be. If he was here too, that is.
"Well hi. I'm Amy. And these are my dancers. Krystal, Carmelita Montoya Fox, Sally, Minerva Mink, Hertia, Galaxina, and Neyla. Another dancer of mine is piloting my ship by the way. And this is my top guard, and Vizier, Blaze the Cat. And this, is Sonic, an adventurer, and treasure hunter. And this is his genie, Shahra." She introduced them all. "Why are you going to Agrabah, by the way?" She asked.
"Well, I was hoping to become a dancer as well, when I get there. Whether for the Pharaoh, or a club in Agrabah." Sonia replied.
Sonic was surprised at the reply, he didn't think, that his sister would want to be a dancer in this World. All while Amy was pensive at the offer. Before she made a decision.
"We have enough dancers as it is, not to say that we can accept one more. But didn't I also hear that he also has a club?" She then asked, referring to Sonic's club.
Which, he realized that she could be referring to himself. "Uh, yeah." He said, feeling that the Moulin Cortex may not mind another addition. Which he oddly doesn't mind either, since his sister could be safer while in the club with him.
Sonia ended up smiling at him for the mention. "If that's the case, mind if I join?"
"Nope." He simply said.
Which caused her to hug him in gratitude for accepting her. Much to the envy of Amy. But she was sure that it isn't a romantic hug, just one of gratitude, so she let it slide, as she was calling Penelope to their location.
Back in his secret lair, Erazor Djinn and his minions were looking on in shock at what they saw, being the demise of the Scorpion by the hands of both the blue hedgehog, and the Princess. Before Erazor was then angered at the sight.
"Curse them! Double curse them! They all shall pay for killing my Scorpion, and bringing my plan to ruin!" He angrily said.
All while both Dulcy, and Antoine was nervous at their master Erazor's reaction to the scene. They usually saw how angry Erazor gets whenever something like this happens.
"B-But do not worry, monsieur Erazor. At least this thing could lead us to where that blue hedgehog lives. Being that club of course." Antoine said.
"Y-Yeah. That would be the time for us to try to t-take him, and the P-Princess, and the dancers back to the castle, that is when you have him for your plan." Dulcy then said.
Erazor though, wasn't convinced. "Silence! Even if it seems like a good idea, it isn't. If I were to try to kidnap him at his own home in that club that we heard about, along with the dancers, and the Princess, there could be friends of theirs, that would try to fight us to rescue them all! And it could risk leading to rebellion!" He said.
"Well… rebellions could also help make you Pharaoh?" Antoine said.
"Rebellions are messy endeavors! And may leave me with no kingdom to rule due to its destruction!" Erazor said. "That is why, I must ensure that this blue rat, and the Princess is alone, by the time we use that method of kidnapping him, for that lamp! Just so that my takeover of Agrabah, and all of Egypt, will be assured!"
That was a good point, both Antoine, and Dulcy admits, as they remained silent to show their conceding with his point.
"None of them know that I have sent that Scorpion after them. So they won't know who shall send the rest of the top creature minions after them, once they're on the move again, out of Agrabah. Hopefully, the next one will succeed, where this one has failed. Then I will use the blue hedgehog, and get that lamp. And then with it, Egypt will be mine, and eventually, so will the entire world!" He said, before cackling for a moment. Which relieved the minions of his, since they weren't being punished for the Scorpion's failure.
The group was now victoriously flying back to Agrabah, having the new Chaos Ring in their hands, along with a new member of the group in Sonia. Whom was agreeing to join Sonic's club, as its new dancer, by Sonic's request.
And speaking of which, the club was their destination, (After they get to a shop for new material for a new dress for Amy.) as Amy planned on staying there with her dancers, using it as a Hub of sorts for their upcoming adventures with Sonic. Which was much to his slight dismay.
After all, as he feared, it meant that Amy might not leave him alone. And it also meant, that not even the Moulin Cortex could be a safe haven for him, as Amy would be in it too, with nowhere to hide from her, now.
On the other hand, it also meant that he, and Amy would hang out there, and get to know each other more in this World, which would lead to their eventual romance, and that would lead to eventual marriage. And that, would mean that they're going back to Mobius. Also, at least the Royal Dancers would also be there, to make sure that Amy doesn't go crazy in her love for him in this World too.
Which doesn't seem to be the case. So far at least.
He also felt that in retrospect, he shouldn't be surprised about Sonia's presence. If his friends from Mobius was here in this World, then his sister was probably going to be here too. He now wondered where Manic could be now. And he hoped that he could be okay.
But he guessed that he can take care of himself. And he's sure that he'll be alive, by the time they meet again. And he hoped that the same could be said of their mom, once they are able to meet again, at last.
Either way, he was delighted that Sonia was here.
And of course, the new Chaos Ring that they got, was a Ring of Strength. Which is meant to enhance someone's strength by probably 5x their normal strength. Which in his case, could make him as strong as Knuckles, if not a bit more. Or in Amy's case, would make her stronger than at least three men that are as strong as Knuckles.
Which could explain why Amy was able to smoosh the Scorpion under her hammer until it was just paste in the sand.
As the ship was flying, he felt that now seemed like a good time to interact with some of the Royal Dancers that followed Amy out of the castle. He just didn't know who to begin with so far, as he was in the lounge, resting off his combat as he was also drinking some juice.
He was making a decision to start with Krystal, when he was suddenly joined by Krystal herself, who entered the lounge. "Do you mind if I join you?" She asked.
Sonic shrugged. "Not really. Go ahead." He said, letting her sit with him on the sofa, not far from the jacuzzi. "Speak of the devil." He thought.
"Thanks, Sonic." She said, smiling at him. After some moments of them sitting together, she decided to begin their conversation. "Thank you for saving the Princess by the way. Her father would've been beyond furious if his daughter was killed out there." Krystal said.
"No problem. Besides, I… didn't want to lose her either. I was hoping to make her my friend." Sonic said, trying not to let her know that he wants to romance her, and marry her.
"Really? Are you sure that it's not also out of love that you have saved her?" Krystal asked, knowing what he was thinking about.
"What?! I mean… sure she is easy on the eyes, and that… she's cute… but…" He tried to say.
"Please, do not try to hide it. I am a telepath after all." She spoke humorously.
"What?! You're a… oh man. I wish I saw that coming." Sonic said in dismay at what he was told. "Okay fine. So maybe I have some love for her. It's just that my past with… a certain number one fan of mine left me feeling weary of getting too close with someone like her. She is pretty crazy after all." Sonic said.
"Really? How crazy is she?" Krystal asked.
"Let's just say, there was occasions that she tried to use 'her' hammer on me, like what happened with the Princess over her dress. and let's just say, she actually fought against me, one time, in hopes that I'll be forced to marry her." Sonic said, recalling his journey with Tails, and Knuckles, before their fight against Metal Overlord.
Krystal was surprised at what she was told. And looking through Sonic's memories through his thoughts, she knew who he was referring to. Which was much more surprising. And confusing, since he knows her before, even though they just met now. But she guessed an answer to that.
"Well, I'm sure that the Princess will prove herself as different enough from… that fan of yours, which I hope would lead to your eventual relationship with her, if you're inclined. Besides, she may be a bit short in temper, but trust me, she is a kind Princess that I've ever danced for with her father by her side, once you get to know her." Krystal then said assuredly.
Sonic decided to take her word for it, as he smiled back at her. "Thanks. I'll make sure remember that about her." He said, hoping that this Amy is more likeable, and less crazy in love, than the previous Amy back in Mobius. Not to say that he dislikes Amy in general because of it. "But enough about her, what can you tell me about yourself?" Sonic asked.
Krystal looked pensive for a moment. "Well, as you know, I am a Royal Dancer for the Pharaoh. And that I am said to be quite a desirable lady that many would want to court. Probably including you." She replied with a smile.
Sonic blushed as he admits, she isn't wrong on that last part. But he'd rather not anger her if he did want to.
"But to let you know, I'm not from here. I'm from a different kingdom entirely." She then said.
"Really? And what is the name of it?" Sonic asked.
"Cerinia. That's the name of it. And I remember that I was born there. And I remember that it was a beautiful kingdom that used I used to be part of. But not anymore. Since it is sadly gone, or rather it was conquered, forcing my people to escape to a previously uninhabited Island, and that is all that I know about it." Krystal said somberly.
"Wait, so your kingdom is lost?" Sonic asked shocked.
Krystal nodded. "I know that it's still out there. And that I used to have a home in my kingdom. I just don't remember much of my life there, prior to its disappearance, nor do I know where it is now. All I know is that I escaped its old lands with my mother, prior to its conquering, when I was just a kit, which led to me eventually meeting Carmelita, and her family. While my mother… perished in the desert." She replied.
"Oh geez. Sorry I asked." Sonic said somberly.
"It's alright. You didn't know." She replied. "The cloth that I wear, as well as the Tiara that I'm wearing, and the staff that I wield in combat, was made from that kingdom. I now wear these, and I have my staff, as my keepsakes, to remind me of my mother, and of the kingdom that is now lost. I'm sure it's out there, still. And someday, I'll find it. And maybe return to it, as a new home. Not to say that I have no home in Egypt." Krystal spoke.
"Ah. Anyways, lets change the subject. I'm guessing that you're like sisters, you, and Carmelita?" Sonic asked.
Krystal nodded. "Of course. We were raised together, like such, as we came to Egypt. Where we were given education, we had fun, among other stuff. And then we ended up seeing some belly dancers performing, including Carmelita's mother, who performed for the crowd herself. Which inspired both of us to become dancers too."
Sonic was intrigued. "Really? And that was when you became dancers for the Pharaoh? Or were you club dancers before that?"
"The latter. We danced for another club years ago, before we were visited by the Pharaoh, and the Princess, and he thought highly of us as dancers, that he wanted us to join the other Royal Dancers. We couldn't refuse, as we thought of the riches, and prestige of becoming such for him. That, and we've heard that he was kind, and polite to his dancers. Which, was true. Thank Ra." Krystal replied with a smile.
"That, and you all became friends of Amy's." Sonic guessed.
Krystal nodded. Feeling delighted at the memory of befriending the Princess.
"Okay. What do you like, and dislike?" Sonic asked.
"Well, I do like to dance, especially with Carmelita. I also like to explore places, in and out of Agrabah, as it is fun for me to get to see the pretty sights. Even though I also do it to look for clues of where my lost Kingdom is. I also like Carmelita and her family, as they were nice to me, along with her, and for taking me under their wing. And of course, reading some novels, particularly romance." Krystal said, thinking of the romantic books that she read with Carmelita. "As for what I'm not fond of, let's just say I'm not fond of bad people, whether they are jerks, sadists, slavers, and criminals. Since Carmelita taught me about why I should hate the latter folk too."
"Sheesh. So I guess you hate thieves too?" Sonic asked, feeling that he might've done some of it in the past, before regaining his memories.
"It only depends on which thief that I meet. If they are just desperate folks, trying to gain food, then I would make an exception. Even though Carmelita… is a bit of a different story. But regardless, I'm sure she'll understand too." She replied. "And of course, I am not fond of Alcohol. Not to say that I hate it outright?"
"Really? Then let me guess. You hate getting drunk?" Sonic asked.
"I wouldn't say that. Sure the hangovers are murder, but it's not the act of getting drunk that I don't like. It's the antics that are bound to ensue, and the risk that a perverted stranger could take advantage of my inebriation. And the worst part, is that I would remember nothing afterwards. That's what I don't like about getting drunk." Krystal replied.
Sonic quickly understood. Even though he didn't get drunk, he did learn about the effects of getting drunk, while he was hanging out in a human city, prior to his journey that lead to his eventual fight against Perfect Chaos.
"I see that." Sonic spoke. "Nice too see that you haven't been taken forcefully by someone. As I agree with Shahra, on why you're a desirable dancer. As you look great as a dancer, I admit." He then said appraisingly.
Krystal blushed at the compliment as she smiled back at him. "Why thank you, Sonic. I'm glad to have met you."
"And so am I." Amy's voice suddenly said, showing that she is in the room with them as she was now joining them on the couch, smiling flirtatiously at Sonic.
"Wha- how long were you here?" Sonic asked surprised.
"Not too long. Anyways, we're at the shop, so it's time to pick out some new material for a new dress that Penelope will make. Then we're going to the Moulin Cortex. So do be a gentleman, and let us in when we get there." Amy replied.
Sonic didn't refuse that request, as he was now ready to let them into the club. And to introduce them to Tawna once they were done shopping.
*Later, after their shopping*
The group was now in the Moulin Cortex, and in Tawna's office, as the lady herself was looking at them in surprise. Especially in seeing the Princess with them too. The latter of whom, was wearing a velvet dress, that was black and gold, and had the back part of her dress trailing to her knees.
It was the new dress that Princess Amy now wore as a replacement shortly before their entrance to the Club. And Sonic had to say, she did look good in that dress. Something that Krystal quietly noted to Amy after reading his thoughts. Making her feel flattered as she blushed.
"My goodness! I never thought that all of you would end up coming here to my club! And because of him, too!" Tawna said in surprise.
"So, you know of us, do you?" Krystal asked.
Tawna nodded. "You're all the Royal Dancers of the Pharaoh. And you must be the Princess' guard, Blaze. And you must be Princess Amy." She said, feeling that Sonic learned who the latter was, and got dismayed to learn of her title. Yet let her come along with him. And at this rate, he could eventually accept her marriage if he is inclined.
"Indeed, we are." Amy said, curtsying to her, alongside her dancers. And Vizier. "And I suppose you're wondering why we're all here."
"Why yes. Why are you here? And why are you with Sonic, and Shahra?" Tawna asked. Even though she hazarded a guess that Sonic has let her join in on his journey
"I suppose I'm the reason why." Shahra said. "Amy overheard mine, and Sonic's upcoming journey for the other Chaos Rings, and wanted to join in. Which I was willing to let her, even though Sonic was initially reluctant." Shahra said. Noting Sonic trying to run from her. "He conceded though, and afterwards, we all went to the Oasis, where we were able to find the next Chaos Ring together. Regardless of some… complications."
"Ah. And I'm guessing that your journey is continuing?" Tawna asked.
Shahra nodded.
"And for why we are here, we would like a place to stay. A place that we could use as a Hub for our journey. And this place seems like a good place for such use." Amy said, deciding to negotiate.
"The Moulin Cortex?" Tawna asked confused. And after Amy nodded, she was surprised. Along with Blaze. "But my liege, how long could you probably stay here?"
"For the entire journey that Sonic is on. Afterwards, we're going to see what Sonic plans to do next, once he has the Chaos Rings. Until that time comes though, I would love to stay here with my friends, and make this our little hub for the journey." Amy said.
"But what if the Pharaoh starts to wonder where you are, before he learns that you're here?! And along with your dancers no less!" Tawna asked surprised.
"He won't, so far. I had my servants covering for me before I snuck out of there. It'll be probably a couple days before I must return there to assure him that I'm not in danger." Amy said, trying to calm Tawna, and Blaze down.
Which she succeeded, as Tawna was feeling relieved that Amy was thinking that part through, alongside Blaze. "That's nice. But what if you're inclined to perform here, along with some of your dancers? I reckon that someone from the Palace may come here, and end up blowing the whistle, if he saw you performing for the crowd."
"That… is a good question." Amy replied, having not expected to be asked that question alongside the dancers. So, she was being pensive for a moment.
Then she had an idea. "I know, I can disguise myself! That way, we won't risk someone from my daddy's palace coming here, and seeing me perform!" She said.
Tawna, and Blaze, thought the idea wasn't terrible. But she and Blaze had one more concern. "What about your dancers? They might attract attention too if they decide to dance here."
"Well, just tell the audience that your club is borrowing these ladies for a while, since your other dancers could be on break. And that you'll someday give them back. Everyone will believe that." Amy explained. "And also, you can have only a few, or less dancing on stage, so that the 'borrowing a few from daddy' tale will be believable. And so that they can be used to fill in for your dancers that are on break, or cannot come dance due to some roadblocks like a cold, or being too busy with work, among other stuff."
Tawna, and Blaze, still felt that a little hesitant in letting Amy, and her group use her club as a place to stay. But she felt that there might not be enough harm in saying yes to Amy's proposal, knowing what Amy explained. "Very well. You all can stay here. Just be sure to return to the Pharaoh once Sonic's journey is done."
Amy smiled at what she just heard from Tawna, as she hugged Sonic. Who was ultimately fine with her in the club, regardless of his lingering dismay at her stay in the Club.
"Just one more thing. What name are you choosing for your disguise?" Tawna asked.
Amy was again, pensive at that question. But it didn't take long for her to think up one that may be slightly similar, but different enough for no one to notice.
And done.

And to let you know, this chapter was originally going to include more, with the group in the Moulin Cortex, showing their antics in there, along with Amy's performance under a pseudonym, and Sonic's interaction with another dancer, but I decided to have this chapter end here, and release the rest of the chapter as a filler chapter, that I'm going to quickly release early in June.
And just so you know, that filler chapter is when this fic will show why it has earned the M rating. Even though there aren't lemons there, so don't expect them in the filler chapter. But they'll still happen later on.
Also, Krystal is from a lost Kingdom, which I named after her destroyed Planet in the Star Fox universe. Is she probably going to find her kingdom? We're gonna have to wait and see.
