It's a quiet afternoon, one of the few ones they have off, Wade staring at a script to a movie he's intrigued by, mouthing the dialogue under his breath when... "AW COME ON!" Heath yells from the next room, startling Wade. Before he can get up to find out what's going on, Heath's storming into the room, his mouth held in a tight line. "I can't believe these idiots, man. Just... just..."

"What is it?" Wade demands, sighing when Heath presses his phone into Wade's hand, a glower on his face. "Heath..."

Heath stares brutally at the phone until he lifts it to read. A list of wrestlers in 2K15 spreads out before him and Wade thinks he knows where this is going before Heath loses patience and jabs at his phone, almost sending it out of Wade's hand. "So many people are in this damn game, but not me! Oh noooo, who'd wanna play as Heath Slater?!"

Wade stares at the screen, snags Heath's wrist and drags him over to sit on his lap. "You knew space was limited this year," he muses, trying to sooth his riled up significant other. "It was nothing personal, they're just figuring the system out." He strokes Heath's side, over to his stomach. "Come on, Heath. You know i'm right."

Heath mumbles something and Wade smirks against his skin, nuzzling closer. "I guess," he gives in with a heavy exhale. "It just... I hate it." He strokes Wade's wrists and leans back, closing his eyes. "I just want an opportunity, man..."

"I know you do. And you'll get one, with time. I know it's rough, but you have to be patient." Wade pats his chest and stares up at him. "It's just how the business works."

"Feels like every time I do get a hint'a somethin', it's gone again before I can really get a good grip on it either way," he sighs, putting the phone down and burying his face in Wade's shoulder.

"I know. I've gone through it, we all have. But you'll get more, I have no doubt." They sit for awhile, absorbing the silence around them, until Wade decides to distract Heath. "Wanna help me practice some lines?" he asks, waving his script around and grinning when Heath glances over and his eyes light up.

"Hell yes I do! What'm I this time?"

"Damsel in distress." Wade laughs at the look on his face and leans over to kiss him. "I'm kidding. Maybe."

Heath huffs. Swats at him. "Well, you'd better save me quick if I am," he huffs, heading out into the living room to have better light and more room.

"Always," Wade sighs, following him.
