Chapter 2
Bella's POV
I woke up the next morning in a tangled mess of sheets. I groaned and rubbed my head as I sat up. I was in bed alone again. I sighed, grabbed my overnight bag and went to the bathroom. I showered, changed, and walked out. I poured me a cup of coffee and looked outside and saw Jackson chopping wood. I smirked and grabbed a bottled water and walked outside.
"Damn. I guess my sexy lumberjack fantasy is coming true." I teased him. He laughed and turned around. I handed him the water.
"So you have fantasies too?" He asked smirking.
"Oh yeah. Play your cards right and I'll tell you all about them." I said smiling. He chugged the water and nodded.
"If we're doing that then I want a sexy librarian." He said sliding a arm around me. I leaned up and kissed him.
"I may or may not have an outfit for that." I said pulling away.
"Please god I hope you do." He mumbled. I laughed and looked around.
"Having a bonfire?" I asked him.
"We are. Did miss use to be high class have bonfires?" He said nudging my hip.
"The children of the high class parents did. We'd sneak out to the Dells, drink, listen to music, dance, then Aaron decides to hit on me in front of my brother, those two get into it, Reid uses to make Kyle do something stupid, then the cops come, and we run from the cops." I said smirking.
"You a cop runner?" He asked laughing.
"Even the ever so noble brother of mine, Caleb did too. Even though he tried to get us to pull over those nights." I said laughing again.
"Well there will be no cop running here. It's all legal." He said.
"That's no fun." I said shaking my head. He laughed and handed me the bottle.
"I got to head into town, meet with Hayley. Wanna go?" He said wiping his hands.
"Sure. I'm gonna meet with a realtor about a house I saw yesterday on my way in." I told him. He looked at me.
"The old two story house with the barn in the back?" He asked.
"Yup. I love it. Give me a wrap around porch, a small gazebo off to the side, I'll make it my Allie home." I said smiling.
"Allie home?" He asked confused.
"The Notebook. Noah remodels and rebuilds his and Allies dream home. I can make this house my dream home." I told him. He nodded.
"Who's the Noah to your Allie?" He asked.
"Whoever I want it to be. As long as he's faithful and honest with me." I said. He leaned down and kissed me softly.
"I'll be your Noah, if you'll be my Allie." He said pulling back.
"You 100% sure?" I asked.
"Yeah. Bells you make me happier than Hayley ever has. But we're not doing the Lon stuff. You're mine until we say other wise." He said putting a arm around me.
"Then Jackson Kenner, will you be by Noah?" I asked putting my arms back around his neck.
"Yes Bella Danvers, I will be your Noah to your Allie." He said laughing. I laughed and kissed him again.
"Yes I will. But you won't be helping with construction on the house. You can give input and ideas, but not helping the workers." I said when I pulled away.
"Don't want me to give in to your construction worker fantasy?" He teased.
"Baby you are the main character in my fantasies." I said smirking. He pulled me tighter against him.
"Then let's go live up to the lumberjack fantasy." He said. He released me then bent down and picked me up. He tossed me onto his shoulder and went back to the trailer. After that we went to town. I met with a realtor and she started on the paperwork. The home had been abandoned for awhile so it was up for a good price. I talked with a remodeling company and they could start immediately. I was walking around when I got a tingle up my back.
"Hello, Elijah." I said sighing. I turned around and crossed my arms at him.
"Isabella. You're back in town." He said stepping closer.
"I'm just waiting on Jackson to get done talking with Hayley." I told him.
"What's his business with Hayley?" He asked.
"That's their business. But I'm pretty sure she will tell you when you two see each other." I told him. I went to turn around but he shot in front of me.
"Why can't you tell me?" He asked.
"Because it's their information to share. Now if you'll excuse me." I said walking around him. I grabbed a basket and started grabbing vegetables and fruits.
"You haven't been home in awhile." He said standing behind me.
"That's cause I'm content at the bayou." I told him.
"No ones is content at the bayou. It's filled with bugs, wolves." He scoffed.
"Well I am. The bugs don't bother me, and the wolves are more welcoming than some vampires I know." I snapped at him.
"We were very welcoming." He argued. I scoffed and turned to him.
"You and I got into it after I snapped the neck of the witch that held you and your family in that cemetery. Then you and Niklaus tried to kill Jake and Paul at the party you threw. So no you weren't." I told him.
"We didn't know you then." He said.
"Not very welcoming Elijah." I said walking off. I smiled when I saw Jackson walking up.
"Hey baby." He said kissing me. I melted into him.
"Hey. Everything go well?" I asked.
"No but it will be. Nothing to worry about right now. How did everything go with the realtor?" He said.
"I got the house. The contractors and remodeling people start tomorrow." I told him.
"Jackson. Aren't you suppose to be with Hayley?" Elijah asked walking up. I sighed and turned to him.
"Elijah. I just left her. You should go and console her. It's what you do best." Jackson popped off. I stifled a giggle and bit my lip.
"Id watch my tone." Elijah warned. I stepped between them.
"Go. Elijah. We have things to do." I told him. He glared at us then left. I huffed and turned back to Jackson.
"I'm glad you're not like him." I said.
"Me too. Let's go home." He said grabbing my hand.
