AN: Hello ALL! Sorry for not updating lately. I had MAJOR writers block! But here is a short drabble of it and I will try to update more often!
Chapter 3
Bella's POV
I stood there the next day staring at the house as the workers began tearing it to pieces. I was excited about it. The wrap around porch, the large kitchen, the bedrooms, bathrooms, I had every detail all planned out. Aside from Jacksons input. I looked over at him as he came from checking out the barn. He smiled and stood next me.
"Well?" I asked him.
"It's in good condition. Replace a few boards, get the tractor in there running. Maybe if you're okay with it, put the trailer in there." He said putting his arm around me.
"Jackson, if you want to bring it, bring it. I have no objection to it. This is gonna be your place too." I told him.
"Do I get input on the house?" He asked nodding to it.
"Yes. Give me your ideas." I said smiling. He laughed and pulled me to him.
"Baby I know you. You already have all the ideas planned out for each room in the house." He said kissing my head.
"But I can add your ideas." I told him.
"Okay. Let's do a Farmhouse idea." He said looking at the house. I laughed and bit my lip.
"That's the idea I had in mind. I wanted something new and different from the Danvers and Mikaelsons home. Something bright and open. Not dark and creepy like both of those homes." I said shaking my head.
"The Danvers home? Dark and creepy? I thought it was bright and civil?" He teased. I laughed and turned my body towards him.
"Now what gave you that bright idea?" I asked.
"Oh I don't know. Just how cheerful you are." He said laughing.
"I'm only cheerful when I'm with you. That says something." I said scoffing. I turned around and faced the house.
"This is gonna be our forever home Bells. Take it all in." He said kissing my head. I leaned back against him and hummed.
"I cant wait." I said. We stood and watched the workers for a minute until we got hungry. We headed to the camper and I started cooking us a lunch.
"Okay you grew up with cooks and a staff. How is it that you know how to cook?" He asked eating a piece of tomato.
"I played human in Forks. The guys had me spelled to know how to do some human tendancies." I said laughing.
"Should've given you the tendancy to like humans." He scoffed. I looked at him.
"Hey I like some humans. Just not all of them." I argued.
"Like who?" He asked.
"Angela and Emily from Forks, Kate from home, Camille from here, and Matt from Mystic Falls." I told him.
"Wow five." He teased.
"Just be lucky I like the supernatural side more. If I was human I don't think I would be able to handle being a blood bag for vampires and having a wolf for a boyfriend." I said laughing.
"It's easier than you think baby. The wolf part." He said winking. I smiled and continued to cook. We sat down and ate then hung around the property for awhile. Niklaus' Range Rover pulled up while we were enjoying the outside. Hayley stepped out.
"We need to talk Jackson." She said glaring at me.
"Whatever you have to say you can say in front of Bella." He answered.
"No it needs to be in private." She told him.
"Are you faking another pregnancy to get your answers again?" I scoffed.
"I'm not pregnant. I just want to talk with Jackson." She snapped at me. I rolled my eyes and looked at Jackson.
"Talk with her. I'll be at the house." I said kissing his cheek. He nodded. I walked over to my car and got in. I drove out to the house and sat there on the hood of my car watching the workers. This was gonna be my forever home. I never thought I would living somewhere different with someone who actually loved me. I couldn't wait for the house to be finished. I imagined a small fire, me and Jackson sitting there in our chairs with cups of hot chocolate in our hands with a blanket drapped over us. This was gonna be a good thing. For the both of us.
