Chapter 5

Bella's POV

I sat there in the middle of the room with my chin on my knees. I kept looking at the windows and doors that I blew out. I held my hands out and they fixed themselves. I stood up, dusted myself off and went venturing around the house. I walked up the stairs and went down to the master bedroom. I could hear the giggling, the squeals, and every intimate moment between Jackson and I. I stood there awhile until I decided to leave. I was walking down when I saw Jacksons truck pull up.

"Great." I mumbled. I walked out onto the porch and crossed my arms as he got out.

"Hey. I've been calling you for hours." He said walking up.

"Phones in the car." I said nodding to it. He looked at it then looked back at me.

"You okay?" He asked. I nodded and leaned against the porch.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. Just a long day is all." I said sighing. He nodded, stepped up on the porch and leaned against the other side.

"Wanna tell me what happened in town today? With Hayley and Elijah? Hayley called me after she said you attacked her." He said shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Hayley wants me to give you up so she can have you and Elijah wants the same thing, to make her happy. I snapped at both of them then I came here to cool off. And I didn't attack her." I said. He rubbed his face and took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry to be putting you in the middle of this." He said.

"Not your fault. It's what I get for falling love with a vampire and a werewolf." I said shrugging.

"Baby it's not your fault either. Hayley is being selfish and Elijah is just wanting to keep her happy." He said sighing. I looked down at my feet.

"Did you pick out the paints for the house?" He asked looking back at it.

"No. I was headed there when Hayley intercepted and made me angry. I'll go tomorrow." I said looking out at yard. He came over and touched my cheek.

"Bells we will be together, in this house, in our own bed, with our two plus kids running around playing in this yard. I'll make sure of that." He told me.

"You sure? Because it's starting to feel like they are winning." I scoffed.

"They're not. Baby I want you, I want happiness, I want the whole nine yards." He said leaning his forehead against mine. I pulled away and took a deep breath.

"Come on. We'll come back for your truck." I said grabbing his hand.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"To get the happy ending we all deserve." I said pulling him to the car. We got in and I flew to the compound. I parked and we walked inside.

"Elijah! Hayley! Come out now!" I yelled.

"Babe." Jackson said.

"No. I'm tired of all of it. This ends today." I snapped. He sighed and shoved his hands in his pockets.

"Elijah! Hayley! Come out now before I start breaking things!" I yelled out. Klaus, Hayley, then Elijah emerged.

"Enough with the shouting, Isabella. What can we do for you?" Elijah said sighing.

"This all barating, annoying the both of us is getting aggravating. So I'm about to settle this right now. Now Hayley you love Jackson do you not?" I said crossing my arms.

"Yeah I do." She said.

"Do you want him to be happy?" I asked.

"Yes. Yeah I do." She said sighing.

"Okay. Do you love Elijah?" I said.

"Yeah." She said.

"Are you happy with him?" I asked. She looked at Elijah.

"Yeah I am." She said nodding.

"Good. Then why is it that you can be happy in a relationship with Elijah, but when Jackson gets to be happy in one you want to destroy that?" I said.

"I. I." She stuttered.

"Why do you get to be happy with the person you love and he cant?" I asked her. Tears welled up in her eyes and she wipe them away before they could fall.

"I don't know. I'm sorry Jackson." She said sniffling.

"I want us to both be happy, Hayley. You want to be happy and in love with Elijah and I want that with Bella. So let us both be happy and sign the papers." He said.

"Will that break the pact?" Klaus asked.

"No. And if you're all nice, I'll try to find a spell for that." I said looking at all of them.

"I'll stop by the lawyers office tomorrow and sign them Jackson." Hayley said. I flashed my eyes and the papers were on the table instantly.

"We'll never know if you get kidnapped again, so why not sign them now?" I said shrugging. She walked to the table and signed the papers. I looked at Elijah and he had a hurt look.

"There. Just need to file them." She said stepping back beside Elijah.

"Thank you, Hales. Bella." Jackson said grabbing my hand. I nodded and looked back at them.

"I hope you two have a wonderful life together." I told them.

"Is that sincere or sarcasm, Isabella?" Elijah asked.

"It was sincere. Let's go home Jackson." I said turning away. We walked out and Jackson spun me around in his arms.

"I love you so much." He said smiling. I laughed and kissed him.

"I love you too." I told him. He picked me up and spun us around in a circle. I squealed. He sat me down and pushed me against the car gently.

"We still have some time before the office closes. Let's go drop it off." He said kissing me again. He pushed me into the passenger seat and ran aorund to the drivers and got in. We dropped it off and headed back to get his truck. We celebrated all night when we got home. I was woken up in the middle of the night with a tingling up my back. I sighed, grabbed a shirt and a jacket and walked outside.

"Elijah, I know you're here. Come out." I said sighing. He came out from the woodline and walked up to me.

"Why are you here?" I asked him.

"I needed to see you." He answered.

"And it couldn't wait until the morning?" I asked.

"I apologize for that. Isabella, you always knew I loved Hayley but you as well." He said looking out at the water.

"You always had a funny way of showing it but yeah. So?" I said shrugging.

"I still love you, Isabella. I was just doing what Hayley wanted for her to be happy. She does loves Jackson." He said looking at me.

"I'm sure she does, Elijah. But she always chose you when it came down to it. As for you loving me, I'm flattered. A part of me will always love you but I love Jackson. I want Jackson." I told him.

"Is there any chance of you changing your mind?" He asked.

"No. You should go. Be with Hayley and live a happy life with her. Have a goodnight, Elijah." I said walking back to the trailer. I walked in and shut the door.

"What did he want?" I heard. I jumped and saw Jackson standing at the counter.

"Hey. What're you doing up?" I asked walking up to him.

"You were gone and I was thirsty. Now back to my question." He said turning to me. I touched his cheek and flashed my eyes. I replayed everything that just happened.

"He still wants to be with you." He said grabbing my hand.

"I guess. But I don't want to be with him. I found the man I want to be with and his name is Jackson Kenner." I told him.

"You sure you want me?" He asked.

"Jackson I will give up everything to be with you. The Allie and Noah home, my family, especially my mother, the Cullens, the LaPush pack, my powers. EVERYTHING! Jackson, I choose you!" I said grabbing his face.

"Just making sure." He said laughing. I released his face and smacked his arm.

"That wasn't nice. Now my love, since we're up." I said biting my lip. He smirked and pulled me against him.

"I was gonna say breakfast, but this works too." I said giggling. He laughed and kissed me deeply.

"We need our baby making practice." He said picking me up. I wrapped my legs around him as he carried me to the bedroom.
