Following the invasion, the gang couldn’t get out of New York. They ended up finding refuge, keeping a low profile and hiding in the city. Leo’s just woken up from his 3 month coma and Mikey thinks the last few weeks have been tense as hell, despite that good news. So, they all get some air. And then a liquor store caves in on Leo and Mikey. Go figure.

Even in death there was no peace. And for one brother his mind was trapped with the impossible connection to another from the land beyond.

During a fight, a Kraang transports Leo into another world. There, he meets a familiar man and asks his help. While he's trying to send Leo back, Leo can experience how much a person can change. (cover by me)
