Once he agreed to watch the fight, Rico and my group went to the river to the south of the barracks, wondering where Ziegler was at... and then, out of nowhere, the entire area got filled with the red light aesthetic as Ziegler appeared alongside Darine and Titan, all three of which being in their Tyrant forms for a change. The grim reaper looked at Rico, who looked at him in absolute fear.
"You brought the head of Lateria, I see... for obvious reasons, hmm?" Ziegler asked.
"Yes, for obvious reasons," I said as I also noticed that the entire world, though very red in appearance, was actually frozen in time. "Wait... you can freeze time, too?" I asked.
"I was taught by the one that taught Deena about it... and I mastered it. You only learned how to master it earlier in your battle with Petram, as you managed to interact with the others while freezing time," Ziegler said, me being surprised... I didn't even think about that at the time, but he was right! "So, are you going to bring out your inner beast against me and my retainers?... Or would you like another bonus?" he asked, me raising my eyebrows at that.
"Bonus? What do you mean?" I asked him.
"I know some secrets that some of your friends have been hiding... your friends in Videl, Nora, and Ross? They also have Tyrant parents," he said, me looking at him with a frown... but after sensing him... I saw he was truthful!
"I-I... HOW?! How is that the truth?!" I gawked at him.
"The reason as to their origins being secret is because of Nora and Ross's Tyrant parent being killed in the past... and that Videl's was killed when she was only 7... But in Videl's case, she's not a human at all. She's all Tyrant, hiding in the body of a girl... a girl that you know very well," he said, me then being even more gobsmacked. Again, no lies!
"Is he... for real?" Coco asked.
"I don't trust this guy," Atlas said bluntly.
"Who? Who is the one that Videl is using?" I asked.
"Your little sister, Penny," he said, me gasping at that. Again, NO! LIES!
"D-D-Does she know about that?" I asked, Darine speaking afterwards.
"Yes, she knew of Penny being your sister the moment she saw you in person... but she didn't dare say anything. When first meeting, it was because she didn't think you'd believe her... but now? She doesn't want you to hate her for hiding the truth. She can hide inside of any human, as she is a Ghost Nexomon... but when she does so, the person gets sent into the deepness of Videl's Temporal Lobe. She wanted to trade places with Amelie when you cornered her so you could see your sister... but she doesn't want you to hate her," Darine explained, me sighing at her. She was being truthful as well.
"I see... w-well, even so, I know that Videl is only doing so because she's scared. Scared of Vados. Scared of the dragons. Scared of hurting our friendship... so what are you suggesting I do?" I asked the three.
"If you can succeed in defeating all three of us at the same time, with us exerting all of our powers of the Netherworld into this fight, we can call back the soul of Zeusana permanently... but we can only bring the souls of the trio's parents back to life for a breif few minutes. After all, can't have too many souls leaving the Netherworld, or it'd be problematic," Titan explained. And after hearing all of that?
"Very well, then. I am going to try my absolute hardest! For the sake of giving my friends some clarity... for the sake of seeing my sister again... for the sake of seeing Hannah's face when she sees her momma again... I AM GOING TO WIN!" I shouted as I then felt my powers emerge, me then turning into my Nexomon form like it was the easiest thing ever. And Coco smirked widely with stars in his eyes.
"OH, HELL YEAH! I FINALLY GET TO SEE IT! You look so cool and majestic!" Coco shouted in excitement when he saw me, me smirking as I then went on my now-four legs and focused. My powers were in balance, all of the different elements at my disposal, as well as the ability to sense literally everything with just my brain. Using this, I then looked at the trio with a smirk.
"Do your worst," I said, them then proceeding to teleport all around me to try and blast me! But I proceeded to wait until the very last minute... the moment they loosed their attacks, which were extremely powerful water, fire, and ghost attacks, I dashed faster than light out of the way before then hitting the whole lot of them with a Psy Ray attack, them gasping at the power I had and then gettin off the ground.
"Tsk, you are strong. But are you stronger than hell itself?!" Ziegler growled as he then tried to attack me with a Hex attack, me directly teleporting in front of him and smacking him upside the head with a powerful EMP attack, him then reverting to his non-Tyrant form when I did so! I then sensed Darine and Titan closing in on me at lightning speeds, me outrushing them and proceeding to clash with them in the air numerous times. Imagine seeing a DBZ battle in a video game as opposed to the anime and every hit I inflicted on the duo, they lost a good chunk of power. I did this for roughly a minute before they then fell down to the ground and I then landed back on the sand on all four feet, sensing that all three were down to 0 HP.
"Well done," Ziegler said from behind me as I then sighed and calmed myself down... and upon doing so, I reverted to my human form instantly... as well as getting a splitting headache.
"Hehe, first time transformation is a real kick in the crotch, isn't it?" Titan asked, me nodding.
"Y-Yeah... dizzy..." I admitted.
"You'll get used to it in time for the fight with Vados... but now, we must honor our agreement," Ziegler said as he and the other two then proceeded to use their otherworldly powers on the grave of Zeusana... and all the while, my allies looked at me with big and wide eyes.
"That... was... indescribably awesome..." Coco gawked.
"Vados doesn't stand a chance!" Atlas smirked.
"That was a very intense battle. You are truly a Laterian Warrior," Rico smiled as he then gave me the army salute and I smiled back at him... and then, shortly after, we heard a voice from where Ziegler and his retainers were working.
"Ricky...,?" asked a very calm, serene voice... and when I saw Zeusana, I was surprised at how she looked very humanoid and less Nexomon than the other Tyrants, even to the point of only being 7 feet tall and having a frame more built for beauty, despite her being a Plant type... she looked sort of like a combination of Gardevoir, Lopunny, and Lilligant from Pokemon. The thighs of Lopunny, the dress of Gardevoir, and the plant-like addornments similar to Lilligant, such as the giant flower coming out of her head and her feet being roots.
"Z-Zeu... Zeusana!" Rico shouted as he then rushed her and hugged her tightly.
"How have you been faring, Rico?... And where's Hannah Banana?" she asked.
"She's uh... I couldn't do anything when they found out... the Laterians banished her when they heard the truth... but she is in good care with the queen over here," Rico explained as I saw he was tearing up and Zeusana simply walked over to me and smiled at me.
"Yes, she is, indeed, the new queen of Nexomon. I should know. Even though I was a distant relative to Omnicron, only those of his children could be the true ruler..." she said.
"Um... is that why you look more human?" Atlas asked.
"Yes, it is... one of my relatives from 1000 years ago was Omnicron's cousin. And their children led to me as well as the other humanoid Nexomon such as Floerina, Sirnymfa, Bullogan, and others," she explained.
"I see... so, Ziegler? Can we reunite parents with children, now?" I asked, him nodding as he then had our group warp away, but not before Zeusana kissed her husband on the lips with a parting message.
"I'll see you when the queen saves all of us," is what she said.
We then arrived outside of the cave I told the others to meet up at and proceeded down the ladder. And when down in the hole, I saw that all of the Renegades were in there, alongside the ones that had halfbreed traits to them, including the ones that were in hiding.
"Videl?" I said, her looking at me with a smile.
"What is it?" she asked. It was time to ask her the most important question of all time.
"I want to see my sister again," I said, her then dropping her smile and her mouth, her looking to be having an internal conflict.
"I-I... I..." she stuttered as I then spoke.
"I know of a person that can keep your identity secret, but I want my sister back before then," I said, her gulping and then looking at the others in concern.
"What's uh... going on?" Leo asked.
"I... o-okay, I admit it! I'm a fraud! I'm not a halfbreed of a human and a Grath! I'm a full-blooded Tyrant!" Videl shouted with tears pouring from her eyes. "I was born in Palmaya, being raised by my mother and Byeol from a bottle... and then, at age 6, the dragons absolutely devoured my mother... they killed her and ate her skin, bones, everhything... I hid myself in the body of a girl that I found roaming the outskirts of Palmaya... and the moment I saw you, Sunny, I knew who it was. Your sister... I.. I'm so sorry!" Videl screamed in tears as the others looked at her with a sigh... and then I noted that the three Netherworld Tyrants were using their powers... and then, in front of us, a trio of Tyrant ghosts soon appeared.
"W-Wait... what?" Nora asked when she saw her father, who looked to be the one that Xanders slaid in New Ignitia, as it was quite big. "I... I know you... are... no... I'm a Tyrant?" Nora gulped.
"N-N-Not just you, Nora... I recognize this one, too... I-I know her... my mom..." Ross gulped.
"What's going on here?" Lydia asked. Hannah would've said something, but she had already seen Zeusana and rushed over and hugged her without saying a word in English.
"I missed you so much, momma... h-how are you back?" she asked... and then, we saw Videl's parent... and she looked like a completely black and spectral version of Byeol.
"M-M-Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma..." she gulped before the spectral Byeol simply held her arms out and Videl rushed in and hugged her tightly.
"Daughter... you don't need to worry about me... and you needn't worry about Sunny's disapproval... she just wants her sister back... do you want a new body?" she asked, me smiling at her.
"I do... a new body to hide in... b-but I don't know who I could inhabit... I'll feel guilty no matter who it is..." she said with sadness...
"There is a body nearby... one that has no inhabitant. Just use your instinct... you'll find out shortly," her mom smiled... and I then saw that Videl then gasped at how she looked towards the tombstone ahead of us and then immediately did something surprising. She let out a bright flash of light that made all of us hold our eyes shut... minus me. I saw what happened despite this. Videl literally unformed her body completely into a sort of worm-like form... she then expelled my sister from her body as who she was in the past, only 7 years old and looking to be fully awake. Videl then went into the ground... and then, after a few more seconds of blinding light, she then emerged in her new body... it was just as I expected. She now inhabited the body of the previous game's protagonist... only it looked much more like Videl's appearance, most likely her making a similar skin suit from her worm-like body.
"W-What... just happened?" Logan asked, the first line spoken by the Renegades. I simply walked forward and then picked my sister off the ground. And when she saw me eye-to-eye, she immediately threw her body onto me, knocking me on the ground as the floodgates came out.
"WAAAAH! BIG SIS! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH! UWWWAAAAAHHH!" she cried out loud, me smiling and holding her close... Videl simply sighed afterwards, and I looked at my sister with a smile. Her appearance was just as I remembered it to be. 3 feet tall, 7 years old, missing three front teeth, and having an adorable dual pigtail hairdo. Her skin was the same as mine, Mexican American, only she also had a few freckles on her adorable cheeks. Her outfit was of her unicorn pajamas, but I didn't care about that. I just cared that she was back. I then looked back at Videl and spoke to her.
"Videl... I don't hate you and I don't blame you... if you want to know what you can do to make things right... I want you to apologize to my sister," I said, her sighing and nodding.
"I... I'm sorry, Penny... I truly am..." Videl said with tears in her eyes as well. Penny wiped her eyes and looked at her with a small smile afterwards.
"I... hic... I forgive you... you let me see my sis again... I just... I need a few minutes to cry..." Penny sniffed as she continued to cry into me, which made me finally start to do the same... only I produced happy tears.
Afer roughly 8 more minutes of this, we finally got to brass tacks and got into serious mode.
"Okay... so now that we know that we have even more Tyrants on our side, we'll need to be on our toes. I'm sure that you guys would be on Amelie's hit list if she knew that Nora, Ross, and Videl were all Tyrants... luckily, this cave is hidden from sight from most of the world and with Ziegler's help, he can probablhy obscure your locations from Vados as well... but in order to fight Vados, I'll need to help of all the Tyrants and Dragons... and I need a distraction," I said, that making Atlanta smirk.
"Oh, and what kind of distraction could we use against a giant monster made of machines and code?" she asked with a smartass attitude.
"I believe I know of a solution. You'll need an airship," Lydia said.
"An airship? What would that accomplish?" Jin asked.
"It's actually ingenious! If we get access to an airship, we can ram the monster away from Parum and into an area where no innocents will get caught in the epic showdown of Sunny VS Vados!" Nexus said with his usual over-the-top methods.
"But in order to do that, you'll need to reach Guildmaster rank. Only Guildmasters get access to personal boons like their own airship. But you'll need some help to do so, as I'm sure Amelie won't let you take it if you did it in Parum," Lydia explained. I then immediately used my brain to speak to Saria, seeing she was still in the Frozen Tundra.
"Saria, this is Sunny... I want to ask for a favor," I said.
"Yeah?... What is it?" she asked.
"I want to know if I can take my test to become a Guildmaster. I want to take it at the Frozen Tundra so Amelie doesn't try to kill me in Parum," I said, her speaking after.
"Very well, I can manage that... be here in about five minutes... queen Sunny," she said, me smirking at her as I then stopped the conversations... and just in time to see that Hannah and Zeusana were talking about something important.
"So you want to help defeat Vados?... But how? And why? You'd be fighting alongside the monsters that wanted to kill you!" Hannah said to her.
"I may not be the best in terms of attack power, but I am great at healing others. If you'd allow, Queen Sunny, I'd like to travel with you in a Nexotrap of my own, just in case Vados decides to strike me down," she said.
"Is she serious? What [A Heart-stopping Flatliner]!" Odiborg said, me smiling at how he said a phase from Destruction Derby Arenas.
"Yes, I think I would be... maybe..." Zeusana smirked.
"Only if you allow," I said as I held out the Nexotrap and Zeusana simply touched it and got sent into it immediately... I then had to send Raksuma back to base to make room, but I still had Odiborg and Sirnymfa on the team from the last time I changed out my Nexomon.
"Can I come with you when you go do your test?" Hannah asked.
"Me, Videl, and Penny will also go... I feel I should also get this off my chest, since truths are being revealed all over... my father was also a Tyrant, though he's still alive. His name is Fane," Eliza smiled. "And uh... about Penny being here... Deena, Ziegler and I had to do a practice run to test out the time travel spell... and we decided on Penny... but the first time was kind of awkward and we sent her to roughly 12 years ago... so... sorry..." Eliza said, me looking at her with a small smile.
"Just promise not to do it again and I'll be fine with it," I said, her nodding. "So you're coming with us, then?" Another nod.
"Then you can hide our presence when we go for the test, right?" Coco asked.
"Why do you think I chose witch as a job, kitty cat? Fane's powers give me tons of spiritual power! Not enough to heal the ghost plague, but definitely enough to hide anyone's presence within a 100 meter radius," she smirked.
"We'll handle keeping the rest hidden while you embark on the test, then," Ziegler said.
"Don't be creepy to them," I smiled.
"But of course," he said as I then focused my own powers on the ones going to the Frozen Tundra. Myself, Coco, Atlas, Odiborg, Hannah, Eliza, Videl, and Penny... we had to work our hardest to get to the end of this adventure without any casualties... and I would not allow anything to happen to Penny. I didn't want to lose my last family member.
