After using the Warpstone to arrive in Parum with my group, I proceeded to hold out all 9 of the Dragon Claws and simultaneously speak to all of them in my mind at the same time.
"Greater Drakes across the world, listen to your new queen," I said, me immediately getting snarls from some of them. "I need you to aid me in this hour of need. Amelie has demoted you as worthless! And worse yet, has created a new monster with the sole purpose of replacing you all," I said, giving them images of Vados and his devastating power, which made them angrier at Amelie rather than me. "I have a plan to get you back in the guild's good graces and to stay alive, but it'll require the lot of you to do things you probably don't want to do."
After walking up 40 stairs, the first dragon to speak was Tyrake.
"What do you plan for us to do, scummy Tyrant queen?" he asked with a very gruff voice.
"The things are as follows. Number one, you are to treat me as I am, the queen of ALL Nexomon, and that includes you all. I may be a Tyrant, but only by keeping me alive can the wars of the Tyrants finally end," I said.
"Yeah, right! And why would we believe-" Dracon was about to spew flames before another voice spoke among them.
"No, Dracon. She speaks the truth. I can sense it in her heart," Mystogen said, though she did have a couple growls and reluctance to help out.
"Fine, we'll treat you like that. What's the next thing?" Graloon asked with a grumble.
"Next, you may only hunt a Tyrant if I give you permission to do so. And Halfbreeds are absolutely off the table completely," I explained.
"Why would we ever harm a halfbreed? They're human, so we couldn't," Boscage said in annoyance.
"Because Amelie, your creator, said that, should I be killed by the hands of Vados, that all Halfbreeds, no matter how old or how young, are to be executed," I said as I reached the 80th step, which made all the dragons gasp.
"Amelie declared that?! Are you absolutely sure?! Mystogen! Is it true?" Glamond asked in surprise.
"I... I can sense it... the words are true... I can see it in Amelie's mind that she wants to do that... very well, we shall assist you, no questions asked!" Mystogen said with seriousness in her voice.
"Where do we go to meet up for the battle?" Wyverne, the normal dragon asked. I then gave all of them the image of the desolate wasteland to the east of the Frozen Tundra. "The inhospitable realms to the east of the Frozen Tundra. I'm going to lure Vados over there. Wait for me there but remember to stay out of sight. If he sees you, I doubt things will end good," I said, them all agreeing to me.
"As much as I hate you... I do not want to allow the humans to be killed with your demise. This truce is only temporary. Once Amelie's schemes are thwarted, I'm coming after you," said the creepy female voice of Krainnull.
"Not a good idea, Krainnull. She is the new queen. And she was truthful when she said that her death would cause the wars to stay in motion for years to come! To end this war, we need to do as she says, got it?" Mystogen said... damn... was she the leader of these guys?
"Ugh... your brain makes me angry so much... fine. But if you do anything to harm the human race as the queen, you will be sorry," said the grumbling voice of Volta.
"You don't have to like it; I'm just laying out the cold hard truth. I'll let you know when I've lured Vados within a mile away from the destination," I said after making it the whole way up the stairs, me looking at my team and knowing it was time.
"Okay, let's get to work," I smirked, Eliza and our group then entering the main guild building and the halfbreed of Fane letting loose a whole slew of ghostly Nexomon into the complex, distracting the different tamers for long enough for the rest of my group to go up the stairs to the first area, me seeing that there were some injured cultists. I immediately healed them up and they spoke after.
"Augh... that Xanders beat us up big time..." the one cultist groaned.
"He was expecting all of us. He had a group of Tamers to assist him... the Tamers were defeated easily... but that Guildmaster... he's a beast!" said none other than the red ranger of Fona.
"Regain your composure and stay at this entrance. Halt anymore Tamers from coming this way," I said, them then nodding as I then went up the stairs and saw Xanders was waiting for me and he looked at me with a scowl.
"Sunny," he frowned bluntly.
"Xanders," I said just as bluntly.
"You and I come from the same humble abode, Sunny. Both of us were raised as orphans in that very same orphanage... why, Sunny? How dare you live among my brothers and sisters. How dare you comingle with humans when you're a monster. Why do you think that what you're going to do is going to change the outcome?! Let me give you a simple truth. Nexomon are TOXIC! They can NEVER live with humans! And when I slay you, then I will finally feel at peace for what you've done to our beloved Guild," Xanders said, me frowning at him.
"And I assume you don't know that Amelie plans to kill every single halfbreed the moment I'm dead, right?" I frowned.
"Wrong," he said, me actually being shocked. "I'm the one that agreed with her. Edward was spineless and disagreed, so Amelie stripped him of his Guildmaster rank! With your demise, we can FINALLY enact our plans to eradicate ALL Nexomon! And if a few humans have to get kileld off in the process, it's just progress!" Xanders shouted in fury... but my allies? They looked to be absolutely appalled by what he said.
"THAT DOES IT! LET ME AT THAT MONSTER!" Coco shouted as he tried to rush out, but I picked him up with my Psychic powers and held him back.
"Coco, don't. Let me handle it," I said, Xanders snorting at me. "You know, Xanders. There exists a saying I learned from a very old movie. A strong man stands up for himself. A stronger man stands up for others. You may think that you are the strongest... but if you're willing to kill innocent men, women, and children, just because they have a Nexomon as a parent... then you are by far the weakest of the Guildmasters," I said. And Xanders growled at me with fury. But it wasn't because he thought I was messing with him or that he wanted me dead. He was furious because he knew I was right.
"S-SHUT UP! SHUT UP! I will NOT be talked down to by a monster in human's clothing! You can't talk to me like that!" he shouted as I simply frowned at him.
"You're not even thinking about the fact that there could even be newborn babies that might get killed in the process... that makes you just as horrible as China, North Korea, Adolf Hitler, and Sparta," I said, me seeing that he got hurt with every single name of the most villainous of people from my time. Words were truly hurting him. "If this is what is required to be a member of the guild, then I'd say that it's time to ammend your motto. We protect humanity... while killing it," I said, him then simply getting on his knees and pounding the ground so hard that the floor began to crack under him.
"NO! NO NO NO! I am not a monster! YOU! YOU... YOOUUUU!" he shouted as I simply frowned at him.
"If you want to attack me, go ahead. With my death, you kill every single halfbreed across this world. And just by sensing it with my mind, I can see there are over 100,000 of them on the entire planet," I said, him gasping at that.
"W-what?" he asked, still angry, but shocked.
"You really think this is the only continent? I can sense 6 other continents other than this one. We're currently in North America... but there also exists South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and even Antarctica. This place is tame compared to the other areas in the world. If I die, then at least 1/30th of the entire human race are to die as well. And if you think that would be the perfect plan, that just proves that you're as horrible as those people," I said, him then simply getting on his knees and pounding the ground again. He then proceeded to do something that made my group surprised. He started to bawl hysterically. But it wasn't funny. It was cathartic, ironic, and something that needed to happen.
"Let's uh... just keep going then, right?" Atlas said, us then moving past Xanders and up the stairs, where my allies started to speak.
"That was probably the best speech I've ever seen in my life... so methodical and so filled with venom... I'm amazed," Nora said as we then made it to the room that came right before the top of the tower. "We'll hold the line here, then. Don't bite off more than you can chew against Vados, okay?... I don't want to lose you..." Videl said to me, me smirking at her.
"Don't worry, Videl. I'll do my very best," I said as I then walked through the doors and proceeded towards Vados, Coco and Atlas staying close as I then got right in front of the giant mechanized monster.
"Well, well. Sunny Dorothy, you finally appear in front of me," Vados said, me frowning at him.
"Yes, I do. But also not at the same time," I said, him growling at my words.
"And what does that mean, oh queen of monsters?" he asked in anger.
"I mean that I'm not from this world. I come from very far back in time, back before the age of Nexomon began... but because of Amelie adding that time travel device to you, I was brought here to stop that from happening, and placed in the role of the one that was supposed to be in this adventure," I said, him growling at me.
"How deplorable. Your lies are so easily broken to pieces," he growled at me... but then, I heard a voice.
"It's not a lie, Vados," said none other than Dorothy, her appearing right next to me with a big frown on her face. And Vados looked at her and me in confusion.
"What?!... T-Two Queens? What is this trickery?!" Vados asked.
"It is not trickery. I am known as Dorothy. I was the one that was supposed to face off against you... but because of Amelie's last-minute addition, I was turned into a spirit. But that's not the important thing, is it, Sunny?" Dorothy asked as I simply spoke the truth.
"Are you aware that Amelie wishes to kill any and all halfbreeds the moment you kill me?" I asked, Vados staying silent for a good few seconds before growling at me.
"How dare you spout such blasphemy! Amelie would never threaten to kill humans!" he shouted.
"Yet she was willing to try and kill innocent bystanders when I first met you. She was more than willing to turn the residents of Cadium into idiots because she hated Atlanta, before then lying and saying the city sunk underwater. And she was MORE than willing to kill Laterians during the fight against Petram in the desert. Remember that? If I hadn't reacted fast enough, you would've killed humans in the process!" I growled, Vados snarling and then trying to swipe at me with his huge claws, me dodging out of the way with ease.
"STOP BLASPHEMING MASTER AMELIE! You do not deserve to live! DIE!" Vados shouted as he then let out a powerful blast at me and my group, me gasping at how the attack managed to come super fast, but I had JUST enough time to protect Atlas and Coco from the attack... while I took the full brunt of it, me groaning as I was sent all the way back to the door and felt sore all over.
"God... dammit... you are truly powerful..." I growled as I limped onto my leg, Coco gulping and immediately spraying a Max Potion on me, me sighing in relief from the potion as I noted that some of my clothes were ripped apart, revealing my bra underneath. "Great, my clothes are ruined..." I groaned as I then saw my friends file to me with concern.
"A-Are you okay, Sunny?! That looked like it should've killed all three of you!" Ross shouted in anger.
"It didn't even effect Coco or Atlas... I used my powers to protect them first and foremost..." I said with a groan... and then, Amelie appeared in front of us with a face of fury.
"You dare to stand up to Vados and survive his attack?! You are deplorable, monstrous filth!" Amelie shouted at me in anger.
"Says the one that plans to do horrible things to the halfbreeds, despite being a halfbreed herself! You do realize that if I die, then you'd have to die too, right?" I said, Amelie frowning at me. I then used my mind powers... for the entire world. And Amelie then did what I expected her to do.
"Hmph. And where's the proof that I planned to enact a law to kill all the disgusting halfbreeds with Vados's help when their queen had been dealt with by him?" she asked. "You have no such proof... wait... d-did I..." she asked before Vados then looked at Amelie with shock.
"As I expected, you are terrible at keeping secrets... and being a decent human being," I frowned. And then, Vados roared in anger, making Amelie jump in place.
"Master Amelie! Sunny was being TRUTHFUL?! You planned to kill all the halfbreeds?! And use me to do so?!" Vados asked, feeling betrayed by her for obvious reasons.
"N-No, no no no, I-I wasn't planning that! S-She must've been using her psychic powers to make me say that! Did you not see her brain glowing?" Amelie asked, trying to do damage control... but then, we all heard a huge clamor from down in the streets of Parum. I looked down over the edge and saw that the different citizens were shouting obscenities and were grabbing any weapons they could get their hands on before then storming up the steps to the guild.
"You... You did it again? You did it AGAIN?!" she exclaimed in absolute fury at me.
"As I stated to Xanders earlier, the only one that agreed with your statement of killing men, women, children, and elderly. A strong man stands up for himself. A stronger man stands up for others. So, Amelie, savior of humanity, the one who wants to kill over 100,000 humans for having Nexomon parents, which of us is the stronger man? Because I'm sharing your tyrannical plans to the entire world. You'd be lucky if your name doesn't go down in history alongside such greats as Adolf Hitler, Kim Jong Un, and Pepsi Cola," I said, her then holding her hands to her sides and clenching her fists.
"That... THAT TEARS IT!... I WILL KILL YOU!" she shouted as she then did something that made me shocked. She became enveloped in a giant column of green light, her form changing shape to look like a 10-foot tall Nexomon that looked like a mixture of machine and stone. You know Ancient Gear Golem from Yugioh? Look it up, that's what she looked like, just a feminine version of it.
"WHOA! W-What the hell is going on with Amelie?! Why is she a Nexomon suddenly?!" Nora asked in shock.
"Not just a Nexomon. A Tyrant?!" Vados asked in anger, Amelie looking to have been completely overrun with madness.
"KILL... RRRRRWWWWWWWOOOOOOAAAAARRR!" Amelie roared loudly, me then looking at Vados and seeing he looked to be charging an attack.
"VADOS! DON'T!" I shouted, him gasping at me speaking. "Violence only leads to violence! We need to confront her in a different way!" I shouted, him then stopping his charging shot. Was this really happening?! Was he actually LISTENING to me?! He could've disobeyed and killed Amelie the moment he sensed her Tyrant heritage, but he held back when I told him not to.
"YOU WILL PAY! YOU WILL DIE!" Amelie shouted... but even though she shouted like she was going to kill me, she didn't move her body at all. Most likely because of the new heft she had... I then got a message in my mind via Morse Code.
"We're ready to line the shot! Where do we strike?" I simply looked into the minds of the ones on the airship and spoke to them.
"Change of plans, guys! Don't ram the airship at Vados! Bring it in slowly and help me out with Amelie! Got it?!" I said to them in their minds while giving them the knowledge of what had happened, them immediately listening to me as Amelie then looked to struggle to move her foot, her body moving like she were carrying a boulder that weight 10 times as she did. I knew she couldn't last much longer in this new form... and despite all she did, I did not dare want to see her die! I immediately went to her brain and spoke to it.
"AMELIE! CALM YOURSELF DOWN!" I shouted to her conscious mind, me hearing some backlash from her.
"I will not! You need to die!" she shouted at me from within.
"If you don't return to your old self, you're going to die before you even reach me! Your body is going through too much strain right now! I'm begging you, Amelie, revert back to who you were! I will NOT allow anyone to die, even you! I know you want me dead, but if you keep doing this, you're going to collapse and die! And I don't want you to go to hell!" I shouted, her then gasping as I then saw her try to calm down, me speaking again.
"Remember who is important to you. Think about your family! What would they say if they found out their daughter died in fury? And to find out that you died without even meeting your dad! Don't you want to see who your Tyrant parent was?" I asked, her gasping at that as I gave her the knowledge I'd learned from Saria. That she was half Tyrant herself.
"Is that... is that why I've turned into a monster?... Oh god... what have I done?..." she asked as I then felt her power wane drastically, me leaving her mind and seeing that she was kneeling down to one leg, and she then reverted back to her old self... and we saw that she was motionless.
"Amelie... i-is she... is she dead?" Coco asked in fear as I then went over to her and felt her pulse. She still had one and she was still breathing... but she looked like she had tons of strain on her body as touching her arm made her wince in pain... and her leg... and even her head.
"She's still alive, but she's been under tons of strain from that transformation... she needs to get tons of rest," I said as I then noticed the Airship coming over to us slowly and that Vados had landed on the ground and walked over to me.
"Sunny..." he said, me looking at him with a smile. "I hate you, with all of my programming... and I feel I should kill you right where you stand... but you saved Amelie... and you revealed that she was just as monstrous as she said you were... but to spare her instead of kill her, even to the point of telling me to hold my attack... I will never like you or your existence... but it's clear that you're the stronger man," he said, me smiling at him.
"Thanks, Vados... so... what are you going to do?" I asked, him looking at the world and then at me.
"You said that the world was bigger than just this continent... I overheard that conversation with Xanders you had on the way here... I want to see the world... I'm sure there are still evil Tyrants in the world... but if what you say is truth, then not all Tyrants are obviously evil... especially when one of them is one of the nicest miners in the world," he said, that making Videl gasp and hide herself behind me with fear.
"Easy, Videl... small, deep breaths... white, sandy beach of Palmaya..." Lydia said as she proceeded to hug her close, me smiling at that.
"If you happen to find a Tyrant, tell me about it... I can then look into their memories and see if they're evil enough to kill or not. If you truly want to be mankind's savior, then please, at the very least, go through the pain of trusting me and talking to me, as much as it may hurt," I said.
"You're... actually talking to him?... That's... that's amazing..." Leo gawked at me. And just for the heck of it, I then gave a small message to the dragons in the wasteland.
"Great Drakes... change of plans... I managed to pacify both Vados and Amelie... go back to your domains... things went different than I'd planned," I said.
"Mystogen told us everything... as much as we hate it, you are now our new queen," Dracon said, me smiling at that.
"So does that mean Mystogen is the one in charge of your group?" I asked them.
"You could say that... as much as we hate it," Krainnull frowned. I then looked at the others and spoke.
"Well... what do we do with Amelie?" Atlanta asked as she looked at the fallen leader of the guild.
"Eliza," I said, her looking at me with a small smile. "Help me out by teleporting our group onto the airship. We're going to get her to the orphanage for some rest... I don't want her to die without meeting her father and realizing her mistakes," I said.
"Her father?... Who was her father? I know he was a Tyrant based on what form she took in your vision... but do you know him?" Nexus asked.
"Her father was called Tikala... we should have him meet with her the moment she wakes up... just uh... don't keep your eyes off of her, got it?... Maybe give a message to the world about what happened?" Deena asked as I sighed.
"After I showed that image, the people looked to be so furious that they'd rather want her dead... I think it'd just be easier to give her a fake alias, change her appearance, all that," I sighed.
"Was that something from your timeline or something?" Nora asked.
"Yes, it was. It'd be easier for her to get a fresh start then to show her face in public... especially after that announcement," I sighed. I felt partially responsible for how this turned out, but at the same time, was relieved that we didn't have to resort to killing or violence... after Eliza and I got the rest of our group on the airship, we then used our powers to have Amelie levitate before placing her on a fluffy bed in the airship. I made sure she was as comfy as possible, knowing she didn't need to feel any more pain after what she had to go through.
