"That is correct! Not that I would expect any less from my favourite student"
Izuku just smiled politely at his words, but inside he was scowling, all the teachers treated him like royalty because they thought he was going to be someone great and he was their ticket to fame.
After a while, the bell rang and Izuku packed away his stuff and walked out of class. As he was walking out of the school gates, a boy appeared in front of him, Bazi Hanamiya, he was the school bully, who thought he was the top dog. There were some other boys around him, his clique.
"Oi! You nerd! Are you sucking the teachers off! Or are they sucking you?! C'mon tell me your secrets" he laughed, while his clique followed
"Was that the best insult you could think of, you illiterate fuck. Oh sorry do you not understand what that means, I can understand that you were born out of incest, but I didn't know you were so retarded" Izuku replied with a smirk
Hanamiya was a tall boy, and had a somewhat powerful quirk called 'Combo Boost' from which he could increase the damage of his attacks after landing a combo.
"You little bitch ass nerd! You better get ready for this!"
Izuku craned his neck, activated his quirk and looked at him. "Come on then retard"
Hanamiya went for a jab but Midoriya had seen it from miles away, he sidestepped and punched him in the gut. Hanamiya backed up before going for another jab, but this time for the face, again Izuku saw if from miles away, he jumped back to dodge it, ducked in and gave him a left, then a right, then a left again breaking his nose, then another right in the gut, a left in the ribs, and to finish the combo, an uppercut to the chin, lifting the taller boy off the ground and send him sprawling back to his lackeys.
"Don't look down on me Hanamiya, next time I'll kill you" Izuku spat at him, and for extra effect he made Hanamiya hallucinate that his eyes were glowing, giving him a demonic look.
Izuku walked away from the boy, and when he was out of sight chuckled to himself. Of course he wasn't going to kill him, he used one of his best tools, intimidation. He loved scaring those who were just bad people in general.
His phone buzzed, he looked at it and it was a message from his mother, telling him to get some groceries on the way back.
He was passing under a bridge when all of a sudden he heard a rattling sound coming from the sewer drain, out of nowhere the drain cover popped off, and a weird slime came out of it.
"Finally, I think I lost him!" the weird slime said in excitement, he looked towards Izuku and smiled eerily, "Ah kid, this is your lucky day, you get to be my host", the weird slime jumped towards him, but Izuku just jumped back to avoid him.
"Ooh this is good, you've got reaction speed"
Izuku was analysing the villain, it looked like his quirk gave him an amorphous body, it was made out of a dark green mud-like substance, so it was probably immune to physical attacks, and the by the way it talked, it could probably take control over other people, and worst case scenario taking their quirk and killing them. It also was running away from someone, probably a hero, so Izuku just needed to keep it around the area and not get caught by it. Izuku didn't have enough time to cast an illusion because the slime was quite fast, and he needed to be within five metres of someone he was casting an illusion on.
"Don't worry. I'm just hijacking your body. Calm down. It'll only hurt for about 45 seconds... then it'll be all over.", the slime said before jumping on him again.
Izuku again jumped back, but the slime just jumped again, so Izuku rolled out the way. This kept happening for about 2 minutes before Izuku heard another rattling coming from the sewage drain, and he could only hope that this was the hero chasing the slime because Izuku didn't know how long he could keep this up, and if the slime lost interest and went after other civilians, he could cause a lot of damage.
A mammoth of a man jumped out of the sewage drain, he had a giant smile, and two sticks of blonde hair coming out of his head like a rabbit, he was wearing simple green cargo pants, and a white shirt, it was none other than the number 1 hero, the symbol of hope and peace, the bane of villains, and saviour of people, All Might, Izuku's idol and the perfect hero.
"Have no fear, for I am here!"
Izuku was shocked to see All Might himself was chasing the slime villain, he breathed a sigh of relief as the slime went off him and tried to run away. Unfortunately for the slime, it was All Might chasing him, All Might, with a single leap jumped in front of the villain, and yelled:
"Texas smash!"
Even though, All Might was 10 metres away from the villain, the gust of wind generated from his punch was like a mini hurricane as it ripped the slime villain to shreds, Izuku had to find cover behind a car, just to not get blown away by the monstrous punch.
He peeked out of the car, and saw All Might collecting the pieces of the villain into a soda bottle. All Might saw him and gave him a big smile, and thumbs up.
"Good work my boy! You kept him distracted long enough for me too reach him, he got away from me and I don't the know the sewer passages in this city."
Izuku was dumbstruck, his idol was in front of him.
"Hahahahah! Hello my boy are you alright?"
Izuku shook his head to get himself into focus and activated his second quirk 'super nerd', "OhmygodAllMightI'msuchabigfanIlvoeyouyou'remyidolI'mgoingtobecomeaheroandsaveasmanypeopleasyouohmygooooood!"
"Canyousignmynotebookplease!"
This translated into 'Oh my god All Might I'm such a big fan I love you, you're my idol, I'm going to become a hero and save as many people as you, oh my gooooood!'
"HAHAHAHAHAH! I wish you good luck, and I will sign your notebook, young man" All Might didn't hear everything the boy had said, just something about becoming a hero and saving people, it was always refreshing to hear people say that they wanted to become a hero to save everyone and not just for the fame and money.
Izuku handed his idol his notebook. All Might scrolled through the notebook and was surprised to see the sketches and speculations about heroes, and strategies about how to defeat different types of villains.
"I'm very impressed my boy" he said as he signed with giant, messy writing, which took up two pages on Izuku's notebook.
"Thank you All Might, sir"
"Well, I need to get this villain back to the authorities" All Might said, "Goodbye young man, I hope I see you when you are a hero", as he said this he crouched down, and with a powerful grunt he jumped off the ground, creating a shockwave, which surprisingly did not leave any marks or indents in the concrete.
All Might landed on top of a skyscraper, and let out a deep breath as he left his muscled form. 'That was close' he said, his time limit was over for the day, he had used all 3 hours stopping villains in Mustafu, he was sure people would be curious for the reason he was in Mustafu, but they would sure be in a surprise.
He checked his pockets and was shocked to see that the soda bottle containing the sludge villain had disappeared.
"Damn, it must have been from jumping, it wasn't secured enough!" he frowned and started the climb down from the building.
-In an alley-
A young man of average height, with a slim, muscular build, and a fair skin was walking through the alley with two others behind him. He had short, spiky, sandy blonde hair with choppy bangs that hung over his eyebrows. His eyes were sharp and bright red in colour.
One of the two behind was very fat, and had scarlet wings, that probably wouldn't be able to support his weight, and the other, was a normal, skinny teenager with extremely long fingers, Both were smoking cigarettes, and chatting to one another.
"Oi! Didn't I tell you to not smoke cigarettes near me! I can't have my 100% record destroyed because of you retards" he shouted at them, while kicking a soda bottle, and igniting his hands, making popping sounds.
The two lackey's dropped their cigarettes and looked behind the young man in fear
"K-at-suk-i" the fat one squeaked out
Katsuki smirked, he thought they were scared of him, he didn't like them at all, they just sucked him off because he had a powerful quirk
One of the lackey's pointed his finger and after following their gazes, Katsuki knew they weren't scared of him but something behind him. So before the villain could get a chance to do anything, Katsuki let off multiple powerful explosions to launch himself off the ground and into the sky, he looked down and saw a sludgy, mud like creature that wore a creepy grin.
"An even better meat shield! With such a powerful quirk too! I can beat that forsaken All Might with you brat!" the sludge shouted as he slithered up the wall of the alley to get closer to Katsuki.
Of course Katsuki thought he could take on the villain, his pride would refuse him to get out, or maybe it was the inner hero within him that didn't want to leave his 'friends' to possibly die because of the villain if he could do anything about it. He flew down and kicked up a metal crate that was lying in the alley, he exploded up to it, and by pointing his arms in opposite directions started building momentum by spinning around before gaining a feral look and kicking the metal crate with all his might into the sludge villain.
The crate hit the villain and sent little blobs of sludge away from the main body, which was perfectly fine. Katsuki had definitely broken a toe or two by kicking the solid metal box, he looked around for his 'friends', but was pleasantly surprised to find them already gone from the alley, hopefully they would call a hero, and they would see him beating a villain before he was even at U.A, making his popularity shoot up.
Though he also could not see the sludge villain around, he flew down to find the disgusting villain but he still couldn't see him. Suddenly the sludge jumped out of the sewage drain nearby at great speeds, before Katsuki could even figure out what was happening, he was covered in the sludge, and he couldn't breathe. He started struggling but his attempts were all in vain as he couldn't do anything to get the villain off of him.
"Perfect! Let's see how this thing works!" the villain shouted as he started using Katsuki's quirk to explode everything around him, the alley was blown to bits, as the villain started rampaging with the powerful quirk at his disposal.
Izuku was walking towards the mall in a daze, he still couldn't believe he had just met the All Might. A large explosion startled Izuku out of his daze, it was just ahead of him, and people were already surrounding the scene. Izuku was about 200 metres away, and he could see some heroes were already on the case, the pro heroes: Death Arms, Kamui Woods, and Backdraft. He continued walking in the direction and excitedly pulled his notebook out, Kamui Woods was still a recently debuted hero, and not much information was written about him in Izuku's notebook.
He arrived and pushed through the thick crowd, and was shocked to see that the villain causing all the damage was the slime villain that he had just witnessed All Might fight off. 'How did he escape?' Izuku thought to himself, 'unless maybe it was my fault, I distracted All Might and he might've not collected all the slime' Izuku started sweating nervously, 'Maybe it was my fault, even after training for so long, in the end I'm still a burden'
He looked at the person the slime had caught, and was when he looked at the person his mind went into overdrive. 'I swear I've seen him before! Who is he?! Why is he so familiar?!' Izuku then suddenly remembered.
"Hi, my name is Izuku Midoriya" a young Izuku introduced as he faced a young boy with spiky blonde hair and red eyes.
"Tch! Whatever, my name is Katsuki Bakugou" the young katsuki replied in an irritated tone.
"Do you want to play?" young Izuku asked Bakugou.
"No, not really, but you look less dumb than the other kids here, so sure I'll play. You're it" Katsuki replied, as he touched Izuku and started running around the school playground. They both just played and laughed, like boys their age were supposed too. They climbed trees, played hopscotch, sprinted, jumped, and in only a matter of a day, they were already best friends.
It was the first day of preschool for Izuku.
"Hey Izuku, do you want to come over to my house to play games, I just got the new gameboy 3004 for my birthday, and I have Sario kart 21 deluxe as well."
"Ummm, yeah sure, let me ask mom." Izuku replied to his best friend. When they first introduced each other to their mother's they found out that Katsuki's mom and Izuku's mom were also best friends since elementary school. It was the foundation for a great friendship, as both 3-almost 4 year olds visited each other's house whenever they could. And of course the two mother's didn't mind either as they got time to catch up on lost time.
Izuku went over to his mom, and asked her for permission, which he got without hesitation.
"Leave him alone!" Katsuki always being the older brother figure had rushed in to save Izuku, who was getting beaten up by the older kids.
"What you gonna do, Katsuki!" the older boy spat on him.
"This, bitch!" Katsuki had a very bad mouth, it was a wonder where he got that from. He jumped on the older kid and started punching him, another older kid came and kicked Katsuki, but Izuku had also gotten up and he had just jump kicked the other boys head.
"Ruuuuuuun!" Izuku shouted as both he and Katsuki ran away from the delinquents, giggling to themselves.
This was the day before the tragic incident with Izuku's father, and the last day the two best friends/brother's saw each other
This was Katsuki Bakugou, Izuku's best friend and brother, the person who fought for him, and sometimes with him. The heroes around him weren't doing anything to help Bakugou, Backdraft was busy dealing with the fires caused by the villain, and Death Arms and Kamui Woods were useless as they could not damage the villain.
Izuku, without even meaning to jumped over the barriers with a heave, and ran towards the villain, accessing hysterical strength, he channelled the power through his legs, making him run even faster.
The heroes were shouting at him to come back, but all Izuku was processing was the weak spots of the villain. With a final grunt, he ran as fast as he could towards the villain, diving at the last second, he grabbed Bakugou and went right through the slime villain, and came through the other side, halting to a stop by performing multiple somersaults.
"AAAH! It's you again you bastard!" The slime villain shouted at Izuku.
Izuku payed no heed to the villain, and started running towards it, he had activated his quirk, and everything around him was happening in slow motion, he looked around to find something that could damage the amorphous villain, and in the corner of his area sense he found a water hydrant.
'Hmph, perfect, I should be able to disperse him with it'
He ran over to the hydrant, and calculated the distance between him and the slime villain, it was about 100 metres, he needed it to come closer.
"Come on you slimy bastard! I'm sure not even your mother can love you, you ugly fuck!" Izuku taunted.
"What the fuck did you say to me, you little shit!" the slime villain started going closer to Izuku, without realizing his plan.
As soon as the slime villain reached within 50 metres of Izuku, Izuku did a spin kick to kick the head of the hydrant at the slime villain's eyes, which surprisingly hit its target, blinding it for a few seconds. Izuku reached for the water pump, and started spraying it at the villain, the water was coming out at a great speed, and went right through the villain, dispersing him.
Unfortunately, the water started to run out, and the slime pieces started coming together once again, and in a few seconds the villain was back together.
"HAHAHA! Did you think that was going to work! It's over boy!"
The villain started slithering towards Izuku.
'I'm pathetic! I'm supposed to be the number 1 hero! I'm supposed to bring people hope! I'm supposed to deliver justice and make Japan peaceful! I'm pathetic' an extremely skinny man thought as he looked at the youth, he had saved earlier, fighting for his life. With a deep inhale, smoke started coming out of the skinny man's body, his body started to grow, and in a few moments in place of a skinny man, a behemoth stood.
All Might with a squat, jumped and landed in the blocked zone.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAH! HAVE NO FEAR, FOR I AM HERE!"
"Oh my god, it's All Might"
"Take a picture"
"He's so big"
"We're saved"
"I'm so relieved"
Izuku heard the chatter behind him, and looked up and saw All Might again. He was relieved and sat down, the slime had stopped in his tracks after hearing the laugh, and as now not a threat to Izuku.
"Villain, you have caused too much damage. CAROLINA SMASH!" All Might yelled, with a smile still present on his face.
This time a much stronger gust of wind was made, destroying the villain, and causing a change in the weather, as the clouds coalesced and started a light drizzle. All Might stood with his fist in the air as everyone gushed over the hero, and awed at his power.
The medics came over and checked up on Bakugou, who was knocked out cold, and was going to get taken to the hospital.
They also checked up on Izuku, but he was deemed perfectly fine except from a few cuts and bruises.
Death Arms marched over to the ambulance.
"Kid do you know how dangerous that was!" Death Arms shouted at him
The other heroes also came over to scold Izuku on his dangerous behaviour. After a few minutes of this Izuku snapped.
"Oh sorry! You were just standing there uselessly, and you have the nerve to shout at me, you useless fucks can't even save someone, you just didn't want to get beaten, that would've made your popularity go down right, and you can't stand that, because all you're after is fame and money, you shouldn't even be heroes, you're pathetic, and now you're jealous that some mid-schooler got recognition other than you right?!" Izuku shouted at them, and left them standing there with open mouths. Izuku after not getting a reply to his rant, just walked off.
Unbeknownst to him All Might had been listening to the conversation, and was smiling to himself. 'The kid has heart and passion, and it looked like he recognized what most heroes actually are like, he may be a potential candidate, Izuku Midoriya, I'll remember that, I hope I see you in U.A young man'
-Later that night-
Izuku was in his bedroom, when he came back home after getting the groceries, his mother had fussed over him, as she had seen everything that had happened at the mall, everything had been broadcasted.
But now he was on his laptop, the incident had made him realize that his quirk wasn't versatile enough to fight all the villains, and if he wanted to be the number one hero he needed a way to fight the unpredictable.
He needed to learn how to manufacture gadgets to fight villains.
Alright, how was that? This was 3655 words so...
Please review. Also I don't know if the ages matchup for this story, but Izuku and Bakugou met when they were 3 and were separated when they were 4. So they were each other's first friends, and were basically inseparable.
