Heeey guys, yes it's me back with another awesome chapter.

"So Brooke what's step 4?" Peyton asks as I pull into the airport. I park up and get out the car to help them with their bags. It's to never see them again, but I can't do that step because we go to the same school" I answer shutting the boot door.

"Well that's a good point" Haley pipes in "I guess you can avoid him like the plague, its sort of the same thing"

"Good point Hales" Rachel agrees "I mean sure it'll be hard because Julian is Julian and he'll try and make sure he doesn't lose you, but we'll also try and help anyway we can"

"Thank you girls" I bring them all into a group hug "right you two better get going before you miss check in. Have fun and make memories"

"Wait isn't Jake going with you guys?" Haley asks looking around for him.

"He is" Peyton nods as her phone beeped "oh that's him now. He says he is inside"

"Well you girls have fun and I'll be here to pick you up in five days. Text me the details" I hug them again as does Haley and then we watch as they disappear behind the double doors.

"So Hales you want a ride back or?"

"No need there's Nathan" she points to his car in the parking lot "he brought Jake. Thanks though. Okay I'm going to go, but don't forget if you need me call and I'll take a ride with Nate to come back here. He is picking up Jake"

"Okay" I nod "well have a good week and I'll be seeing you"

I get into my car and head home, but before I made it home I stopped off at the grocery store to get all my favourite snacks for a film day. I push the buggy through the store picking up what I wanted or needed. I turn into the snack aisle when a familiar voice stopped me.

"Brooke hi" I look up and see Lily pushing a buggy towards me.

"Hi Lily" I smile at her.

"Lily what about these? We like these ones or maybe..." he stopped talking when he noticed me and a smile formed on his lips "oh hi Brooke I didn't see you there"

"Clearly" Lily mutters rolling her eyes. Lucas nudged her with his elbow making me laugh a little "so Brooke" I turn my attention back to Lily "do you like Disney movies?"

"Of course" I reply "those are only my favourite"

"Really?" I nod "mine also. My friends back home didn't understand my love for them, they think because we are in high school that Disney isn't cool anymore"

"Well they obviously don't know what cool stuff is" Lily smiled.

"Well there is this movie thing going on tonight in town and Lucas is taking me to go see Beauty and the Beast, but it's the live version. Do you want to join us?"

I looked to Lucas and saw he was looking at me waiting for my answer. Lily looked super excited and the girls are away and Haley is with Nathan so what can the harm be in going to see a movie with Lucas and his sister. I would enjoy myself and we are becoming friends.

"Okay sure" I nod and Lily squealed in excitement.

"You don't have to Brooke if you don't want to"

"I want to Lucas. It'll be fun"

"Okay I'll pick you up in my truck at 7" I nod "okay cool see you then Brooke" I nod again and walk around them and down the aisle.

I got home and put away the shopping before plonking down on the sofa and about to watch Netflix when my phone buzzed.

Why are you ignoring me?

Are you off with that guy from the party?

Brooke answer me for god sake.

I miss you. Please. I'm sorry

Okay come on baby you know I love you. Please just, can we talk?

Five messages swarm into my message box from Julian. I haven't seen him or spoken to him since the beach party last week. I've been avoiding all contact with him. I haven't been to a party since either. Sitting here alone looking at his messages makes me want to just say 'fuck it and call him or answer him, but then I think about myself and what I deserve and I really don't think I deserve to be treated like he has treated me the whole summer.

My buzzed again.

Brooke I don't understand why you won't answer me. You used to think of me as your guy. What the hell are you playing at doing this to me?

I'm sorry I didn't mean that last message. Just, please just come talk to me. We can go to our special place and just talk or hang out like old times.

For god sake Brooke this is stupid now. You know its me and you, it's always been me and you. Just meet me please.

I continue to ignore each message. I wasn't giving in. I needed to be strong. For myself and for my future. I select something to watch on Netflix and get comfortable on the sofa.

My phone buzzed again this time it being Rachel.

We've landed and we are now in Owen's car. Sent you a picture. We love you and please stay away from Julian xoxo

I look at the picture of her, Owen, Peyton and Jake. It was super cute. So I reply back.

Glad you guys are safe. The picture is super cute. Stay safe and I love you guys too. Have fun and I'll see you soon xoxo

She sends back a heart emoji and then the bell to my door rang. I get up and answer it. My heart dropping at the person standing on the other side.

"What are you doing here?" I utter my confidence coming back to my body.

"Well I've tried texting and calling and you won't answer me, so I had no choice" Julian says

"To me it sounds like you can't take a hint when someone doesn't want to talk to you" I reply to him "just leave Julian"

"Can we just talk please?"

"There's nothing to say"

"Brooke please" he pleads and I could see the realisation hit him. He was standing in front of me pleading for my time. The time he doesn't deserve "I miss you, I miss us. I want us back Brooke. I want you back"

"So all of a sudden you want me back" I laugh "could you tell me where you get the nerve" I shake my head in disbelief at him "yeah you can say you miss all that we had, but I don't really care how bad you hurt Julian" I look back to him seeing his eyes lock onto mine "because you broke me first" I then step back into my house and shut the door on him as a single tear falls slowly down my cheek.
