Two weeks had passed and I have spent most of my time with Lucas except Saturday nights when I spent them with the girls. My life was finally getting better. Julian and I have been avoiding each other. Well I've been trying harder than him. Yes he has kept trying to make me jealous with the countless of girls he is walking around with each day.

I was currently lying on my stomach on Lily's bed. I met their mom the night he and I had that perfect moment outside the cafe. I fell in love with her as she did with me. She was the sweetest ever.

"Brooke, what do you think?" it was Friday night and we were heading to a party, but we were waiting on Lily.

"I like it. I think that's the one" she was wearing a tight black dress with wedged heels.

"Absolutely not" Lucas says walking into the room.

"Lucas you've said that about every outfit" Lily whines making me laugh.

"Well put on something I'll say yes to" Lucas stated like it was that easy.

Lily groaned and entered her walk in closet again "Luke come on give her a break" I turn my head to my almost boyfriend "she's hot just deal with it"

"But she's my sister" he pouted making me laugh.

I sat up and then stood in front of him "look at what I'm wearing, like come on Luke"

He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into him "yeah, but all this is for me" he kissed my shoulder "my sister is off limits to those horny guys in her classes"

"She is a big girl Luke; I think she can make her own choices including what she is wearing for her first cheerleader party"

"Okay I think this is the outfit" Lily walks out of the closet wearing a dark green dress that stopped mid thigh, a pair of black wedged heels and a black bomber jacket. She looked hot. She looked at Lucas "I don't care if you don't like this one. I want this outfit"

"I like it" Lucas approved "and I'm sorry for shutting down all the others. I should understand that you are 16" Lily beamed a smile at him "so are we finally ready to go now?"

"Yes now let's go" Lily grabbed her black bag and followed us out her bedroom and down stairs to the front door.

"Oh Lily you look so beautiful and you too Brooke. Oh and Luke you are so handsome" Karen says coming out of the living room.

"Thank you Ma" Lucas and Lily say at the same time.

"Actually Karen would you be able to take a quick picture of us please" can agreed and took my phone snapping a few pictures of us "thank you"

"It's okay. You guys have a good night" and we were off

"You know this long distant thing with Owen is getting harder" Rachel says dropping down beside me on the hammock outside in the garden.

"Yeah, but you love him so you'll wait it out until we graduate and you'll be together properly"

"Why are you such a good friend to me" she places her head on my shoulder.

I place my head on top of hers "because I love you like a sister and always will"

"Good answer" she smiled "I love you too Brookie" and then her phone rang "oh speak of the devil. Its Owen" she jumped her "I'll come find you in a bit" I nod and she walked off answering the phone.

"Where's the boyfriend then?" I roll my eyes and look up to see Julian standing in front of me.

"I liked it better when you were avoiding me" I state standing to my feet "bye Julian"

"Hey Brooke wait up" I hear him call after me and then I feel his presence again "Where's the boyfriend at aye"

"Who said he was my boyfriend?" I answer back still walking across the garden to the back door.

"Its the word around school" he replies "so where is he?"

"Why does it matter? You need to leave me alone though Julian" I warn finally reaching the back door and stepping inside.

"It was a simple question Brooke"

I turn to face him one more time "I liked it when you were avoiding me. Go back to that yeah" I then turn away from him and head into the crowd.

"There you are" an instant smile formed on my lips when I recognised that voice "are you okay?"

I nod "yeah I'm fine. Better now your here. Where'd you go anyways?"

He went silent for a moment and I caught him looking into the crowd and then his eyes connected with mine "oh I was just chilling with the guys" I nod "Brooke can we go somewhere?"

I kink my eye brow in confusion "you want to leave?" he nodded "but what about Lily?"

"We'll come back" he entwined his fingers with mine "please" I just nod and follow him out side.

We walked for about 20 minutes before he just stopped dead still. I was really confused at this point. Lucas finally turned to me our eyes connecting.

"Brooke I really really like you" he says "and I've loved hanging out with you the past few months. It's been great" I nod knowing all this "I would love you to be my girlfriend" a smile formed on my lips "is that a yes" I nod and jump at him wrapping my arms around his neck.

Lucas and I headed back to the party with our fingers entwined. We walked through the crowd wanting to find Lily to make sure she was okay.

"I don't know why you guys don't make it truly official already. Everyone basically already knows about you guys" Haley staggers towards us with Nathan by her side.

"Actually we already have" I beam a smile at her.

"Oh ohoh you haaaavvveee?" she jumped at me "that's awesome Brooke"

"Okay Hales let's go" Nathan says taking Haley by the hand "see you guys"

Lucas and I carried on through the crowd when we see Lily standing by the kitchen counter talking to a guy that looked like he was in her grade.

"We should go break that up" Lucas says going to walk over, but I stop him.

"Erm... I think not Lucas" he looks to me "they are just talking and anyways what I've heard he is a nice guy" Lily started giggling at what the guy was saying "lets go get a drink" I pull him over to the drinking station "cola?" Lucas nodded "here"

The night was going great and I was drunk. I slipped down into Lucas's lap and wrap my arms around his neck "hey boyfriend"

"Hey Pretty Girl" he kissed my cheek "want to go home?"

"Where's Lily?"

"Still hanging with that boy" he says "I'll go get her and we'll head home okay" I nod. Lucas picked me up and placed me on the sofa as he headed over to his sister.

A little while later I felt myself being picked up by Lucas "okay guys we'll see you later. I'm going to get them home"

Lucas got me home and took me up to my room and laid me on my bed "thank you for a good night Luke" I lean up and place my lips softly to his "nighty night boyfriend"

"Good night pretty girl" he places a kiss to my forehead and then I drift off into a deep sleep as I hear the door to my bedroom close.
