The Amazing Ghost Musician: What's up bitches? Long time no see!
Me: Today, we are ready for another chapter of Steven Universe: War Of The Beasts.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: We're gonna find out if Steven, Optimus, the Gems and the Maximals can trust Dinobot, or even add him as a member of the team.
Me: And when Megatron and the Predacons catch wind of Dinobot's betrayal, they are furious. But, what is Greg gonna think of this? And who is the mysterious watcher who saw the battle?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: All of those questions are about to be answered in today's chapter or episode, since it's kind of like a TV series. But anyways, as my guy Dee Snider of Twisted Sister says every Saturday night…. GET IN… SIT DOWN… SHUT UP… AND START READING!

Chapter 2: War Of The Beasts - Part 2!
Last time, while pursuing the Predacon ship Darksyde, the Maximal ship, Axalon, commanded by Optimus Primal was under attack not just by the Darksyde, but also by an unknown enemy. The Axalon crashed on Earth in Beach City near the humble abode of Steven Universe and the Gems, Garnett, Pearl and Amethyst. The Darksyde crashed on a volcanic island near the city and so both sides scanned some Beast Forms to protect them from the long-term effects of the Energon Fields on Earth. When Cheetor was testing his speed with Amethyst, she gave him a human disguise and the girls were crushing on him now. But then a Predacon named Waspinator attacked them, prompting a battle between both sides in which Steven and the Gems got involved. After rescuing Cheetor and Amethyst, they were on their way back to Steven's house, but were then stopped by someone who defected from the Predacon ranks, his name was Dinobot. And so, the story continues...
Steven and Optimus stood in front of Dinobot, who was kneeling before them and Steven breaks his silence "I don't get it." said Steven. "Why would you defect from the Predacons? From what I've heard about them, they are ruthless and an oppressive force. So, why did you have a change of heart?"
"If you must know, I've found what Megatron was planning to do with the humans." he relayed. "He plans to enslave the humans and or kill them by draining this planet of its resources, get all the Energon and become the most powerful Predacon in Cybertronian history. Plus, his other goal is to turn planet Earth into a fortress."
The other Gems and Maximals were all in shock about this, so much so that they all collectively gasped.
Optimus was a little furious, but he tried not to let it show. "So Megatron wants to turn the population into his slaves, drain the planet of its resources, get all the Energon and turn the planet into a fortress?"
"It was all part of his plan to conquer the universe." replied Dinobot. "Of course, this is phase one of his plan."
Steven raised his eyebrow. "Phase one? Not sure I WANT to know what Phase Two is."
"If this is phase one of Megatron's plan, who knows what else he's working on." Optimus said.
"Yeah, so is there more as to why you did this?" asked Steven.
"Yes. Megatron has no honor in his ranks. I slipped out before the ones guarding the Darksyde could see me." Dinobot explained how he got away from Megatron. "So, what will you have me do to prove myself loyal to your cause?"
Optimus thought it over, "You are welcome to join us as our strategist, as long as you fight beside us to the very end and do not double cross us." he stuck his hand out and said, "Welcome to the Maximals, Dinobot."
Dinobot shook hands with Optimus and Steven, "I will gladly do my best to never double cross you, there is no honor in that. And as per this agreement I already changed my activation code. Dinobot, MAXIMIZE!" He then began to transform and gave Optimus a data drive that had the layout of Megatron's headquarters.
Steven was amazed by how the armor looked. "So, your beast mode is a velociraptor. Cool, I like dinosaurs. The way they looked has always been so fascinating."
The other Gems and Maximals all looked at this thing and they saw Dinobot smirking at what Steven had said about the Dinosaurs.
"Can we really trust this guy?" Amethyst asked Rattrap.
"Just listen to the boss monkey, he's the one who allowed this to be true." Rattrap replied.
Cheetor nodded, "Well, think about it guys, we need a strategist, since we have been outnumbered recently."
"True." said Amethyst. "But, there's something I don't trust about him."
"Me neither, Amethyst." said Rattrap, agreeing with her.
She looked at him and said, "Well, what do you know? We actually agree on something."
Rattrap looked at her in surprise. "Hey, don't get any ideas, sure we agree on this, but that doesn't mean I gotta like this myself." he huffed.
"Whatever!" Amethyst also huffed.
Cheetor sighed with grief, "Sheesh, and they call me the 'Immature One'." he muttered to himself, not wanting anyone to hear him.
And so, Dinobot converted back to Beast Mode and said, "I'll go with you back to your command center and I'll need a human disguise if I am to follow on foot." he said.
Pearl decided to do it this time, "Well, if Amethyst can do this, so can I." she said, using her power to project Dinobot's holographic self, which oddly enough made him look like a samurai. "Wow, so this also explains your sense of honor, you follow Bushido, the code of the Samurai, so that's an effective disguise."
"Indeed," said Dinobot, admiring the armor he was wearing.
Amethyst, Cheetor, Pearl, Rhinox, Rattrap and Garnett all looked at each other and had no clue that Dinobot followed Bushido at all, or how he had learned of it. Steven and Optimus went back into the ride and continued to go back to his house.
Meanwhile, as they walked about, the Predacons heard a beeping sound, it was coming from their onboard computer on the Darksyde.
"What is it, computer?" he asked.
"Alert! Alert!" said the computer. "Files have been breached, unit Dinobot responsible."
Megatron growled in anger, "RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!" he roared. "HOW DARE THAT RAPTOR STEAL FROM ME!?"
The computer began to tell him more, "Additional information….Unit Dinobot has joined the Maximals and warned them of your plan, Lord Megatron."
"And now, it seems we have a traitor," said Megatron. "We must hunt him down and destroy him!"
Just then, Scorponok saw something, it was Steven and the others driving about. "Megatron, look!" said Scorponok, "There he is! With the Maximals and those Gems!"
"Hmmmmm….. It seems that they have reached an understanding." said Tarantulus. "So, what is your plan, Megatron?"
He thought it over, and after some careful devising, Megatron said, "Hmm, well, I do not want to destroy the Gems... yet. Nooo! How would it be if they...lost their way to their hideout? Yessss!"
"MEGATRON, TERRORIZE!" he roared and went from Tyrannosaurus to robot again.
"Terrorsaur….TERRORIZE!" Terrorsaur squawked, as he transformed.
"Wazzzzpinator...TERRORIZE! ZZZZZZZZZZZ" Waspinator went from bug to robot in nothing flat.
"Scorponok...TERRORIZE!" Scorponok clapped his claws multiple times and went from scorpion to robot.
"Tarantulus...TERRORIZE!" Tarantulus went from Tarantula to robot as he snickered evilly.
Just then, Cheetor looked behind and Steven stopped the ride, "WHOA! WE GOT TROUBLE! TROUBLE WITH A CAPITOL PRED!" shouted Cheetor.
Steven and the others looked behind them and they saw the Predacons in battle mode. "How did they find us here?" he wondered.
"They must've tracked Dinobot down after he copied Megatron's plan!" said Optimus, denoting that to be true.
Dinobot growled in frustration, "The Darksyde's computer must have scanned me as I was leaving."
"Thanks for the tip," Amethyst groaned in annoyance. "What now?"
"The Maximals robot forms are not fully repaired, so we'll have to fight them off." said Steven, as he brought forth his sword and shield, the other Gems all got their weapons out too. "Dinobot, care to join us?"
Dinobot smiled at Steven, "Yes, Dinobot...MAXIMIZE!" he transformed from raptor to bot again and this time, he got out his spinning blade and rotor shield. His eyes began to glow green and he fired a laser from his eyes, and aimed it at Megatron.
Megatron was angry. "You gems have lasted too long!" he snarled. "FIRE!" He instructed his bunch and they all began to fire their weapons on them.
Dinobot then blocked it with his shield and Steven decided to try a new tactic. "Alright, Pearl, we're gonna have to merge!"
"Got it!" she said.
So Steven and Pearl joined hand in hand, and in a flash of light, there stood a combination of Steven and Pearl which was called Rainbow Quartz, "Alright, now let's see how they deal with Rainbow Quartz 2.0!"
"It seems that you gems can merge, Yesss!" Megatron said, looking on at this. "But it shall not affect me or the battle."
Rainbow Quartz comes face-to-face with both Waspinator and Terrorsaur as she takes off into the air.
"Wazzzzpinator not see Gems combine." he said, feeling stunned by this.
"Well, either way, we're bringing them down." said Terrorsaur, in a sinister manner.
Rainbow Quartz then fired a blast from her umbrella. "Wanna bet?" she demanded. And as Waspinator fired again, she blocked it with her umbrella.
Cheetor and the others were in awe at how they were able to do that, "Wow, you gems can fuse together?"
"Yes, it's part of who we are," said Garnett.
Optimus then spoke to the computer of his ship in his ear, "Computer, what condition are my repairs in?" he asked.
"Accurate summation, your robot form is fully repaired." said the computer in a male voice. "You may go into battle.
"All power to weapons and field dampeners." said Optimus. "Maximum tolerance."
"Acknowledged." said the computer.
There was a beeping sound and it activated the field dampeners for him.
Scorponok and Tarantulus then fired their shots at Rainbow Quartz.
"Let's see how you gems can fuse when my forces intoxicate you!" Megatron moved out of the way for Tarantulus to shoot his spider leg blasters at them.
"I have them, I have them!" said Scorponok, as he clicked his claws twice and fired his rocket at them.
The other Gems decided to get into the battle and Dinobot sliced some of Scorponok's missiles. However, little did they know, someone saw the battle happening, he looked like he was in his mid-40's. He even looked like an older version of Steven, this was Greg Universe, Steven's father.
"Man, what could that be?" he wondered. "I hope Steven and the girls are okay."
Cheetor did not like the way this was going back and forth and so he could
"We've gotta help them out!" Cheetor said, wanting to get in.
Optimus nodded in agreement. "I'll deal with this!" Optimus said, as he jumped out of the truck and got ready to fight again. "Optimus Primal, MAXIMIZE!" he roared like the gorilla he could turn into and his gorilla parts began to turn into his armor again. "Prime jets, ON!" He then began to launch into the air and armed the missiles on his shoulders and fired them at Waspinator and Terrorsaur. His arm cannon came out again and he aimed it at Scorponok, but then Tarantulus blocked the way.
"I didn't know you could fly, Optimus." said Rainbow Quartz.
"It's only in my robot mode." he said, denoting that to be true.
"Let's go! Cheetor, MAXIMIZE!" Cheetor jumped out of the car and went from Cheetah to robot in a matter of seconds and fired his blaster at Waspinator, "That's payback for what you tried to do, Bug boy!" he ranted.
This made Waspinator angry. "RRAAAAGHHH! WAZZZZPINATOR ZZZZZAP YOU FOR THAT!" Just then, he was shot by Garnett.
"Not if I have anything to do with that." she said.
"Rattrap, MAXIMIZE!" The body of Rattrap began switching to robot mode and he spun his gun around.
"Rhinox, MAXIMIZE!" went from Rhino to robot in a matter of seconds and fired his gun at the Predacons.
Megatron sees that the numbers game is now in favor of The Gems and the Maximals "Ugh, you may have the numbers game in your favor, Optimus Primal...But not for long! No!" said Megatron, as he charged up a blast from his T-Rex head and fired a purple shot at him, only for it to be blocked by Dinobot's vision. "So, confront me yourself this time, traitor?"
"You have no honor, Megatron!" said Dinobot. "I will not fight for ANYONE who has no honor!" he flung his sword at Megatron, and it got him in the left arm.
"You will pay for your tretury Dinobot!" said Megatron as he fired some missiles from the sides of his body, some hit Dinobot, but the others were deflected when Rainbow Quartz used her umbrella to block it.
Dinobot was blown to the near side of the cliff and Optimus landed and was about to bring him up, but he slipped and transformed back to Beast Mode.
"OPTIMUS!" said Cheetor, in a panic.
As he raced over and saw nothing on the edge, Cheetor was starting to feel sad at this. Garnet also ran to him and looked down in a gasp of shock.
Megatron blows Rainbow Quartz right out of the sky, sending her flying down as she splits back into Steven and Pearl.
Just then, Optimus' voice called out to them, "If you're not moving….A little speed would be prime!" said Optimus.
Megatron saw how Steven and Pearl separated. "You Gems really think you have what it takes to defeat the future ruler of this galaxy!?" he dared.
Amethyst was fuming with what Megatron and the other Predacons have done
"So that's how you want it, huh?" Amethyst "Well let's see how you deal with me!"
She ran in Megatron's direction with her blasts going full throttle at him, she hit several points on his armor.
"Amethyst, what in the name of Arcee are you doing?" Rattrap replied as he kept firing.
"What I think is right!" Amethyst said, as she ran in the same direction. "And I won't allow this tyrant TO DESTROY MY HOME!"
"Have you lost your slaggin' mind?" Rattrap shouted in worry.
Amethyst did not listen and she jumped up into the air, slammed her fist on Megatron's face, causing him to get a dent in his head. This made Scorponok gasp in horror, as well as Waspinator and Tarantulus. Terrorsaur fired his missiles and so did Scorponok, but Amethyst deflected them away and punched Terrorsaur's head clean off his body.
That sight made Steven scream. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! SEVERED ROBOT HEAD!" he shouted.
Just then, both Amethyst and Pearl raced back to help Optimus and Dinobot out of their fix. Soon, Steven and Pearl got up and decided to help out too.
"What's with Dinobot?" asked Pearl, seeing some electricity surging all over him. "He's all electrical."
"It's an Energon Surge!" Cheetor explained. "That will happen to us when we're in robot mode too long!"
"It's not contagious, is it?" asked Steven, feeling a little concerned.
"Nope." Rhinox replied.
Steven wiped his forehead, "Phew, well, let's get them out of this mess!" he said. "Dinobot can't transform in this position!" he signaled and they all began to think of a way to do so.
Dinobot, feeling worried about Steven and the others, then said, "Leave me...Let me fall! And save yourselves!" he urged.
As Optimus strained holding onto him, "Now, where's the honor in that?" he asked, trying to make a joke to help him keep calm.
"We're not gonna leave you behind!" said Steven, determined to save them.
Before Optimus and Dinobot could fall, Steven, Garnet and Rhinox all rushed in and grabbed them just in time.
"Let's get out of here!" said Amethyst, getting a nod from all of them, they all got back into the ride, converted to Beast Mode and Steven sped off.
Megatron saw them loading up the ride. "DO NOT LET THEM ESCAPE!" he yelled. The Predacons opened fire at the ride, but they got away again. He roared in frustration and whacked Waspinator and Tarantulus in the heads as Terrosaur picked up his head and put it back on. "AAAAAAAAHHH!" he yelled. "YOU INCOMPETEN IDIOTS! You let them get away!"
Scorponok then called out to him, "Megatron, look up there! The missiles!" he pointed his claw at the mountain on the other side, the missiles hit it and there was a massive explosion.
"ENERGON! YESSSSSS! Raw natural Energon crystal! I knew it was here!" he said, with glee but then he and the other Predacons felt the same kind of Electrical surge that Dinobot felt, they had another Energon Surge. "Quickly, return to Beast Mode," he ordered.
And with that said, they all converted back to their beast forms and went down the alternate route.
Meanwhile, Steven and the others stopped the ride and saw what was on the mountain in the area, they all gasped at the sight of it. "Whoa! What was that!" asked Pearl.
Rhinox took a look, "Those missiles hit the mountain and look at that?" he pointed to the blue thing sticking out of it.
"Raw Energon!" Optimus gasped. "In its natural form it is highly unstable. We're lucky those missiles didn't cause it to explode."
"If you'd call it lucky," said Steven.
Cheetor looked down at what he saw on a different ground area. His eyes widened, "Megatron's on the move!" He zoomed in his telescopic camera. "Bearing 6175."
"He is after the Energon." said Dinobot. "A crystal that size would make him unstoppable."
Amethyst snarked, "Oh, ah, thanks for the hot tip, scale-face."
That made Rattrap giggle a little bit, "Good one."
"Thanks."
Steven then thought it over, "Will he send the fliers?" he asked Dinobot.
Dinobot sighed a little bit, "Negative, the Energon Crystal is too big for the fliers to carry back to their base." he said. "Only Tarantulus has the skill to segment it."
"Then we have to get there first!" Optimus said. "All 9 of us."
"Yeah, all 9 of us...You mean, chopperface is coming with us?" Rattrap complained. "Oi, we're all gonna die."
He then got whacked in the head by Amethyst, "Don't say that!" she said. "Wait for us!" she said, as she saw them leaving them behind.
However, Megatron and the Predacons kept on marching towards the shattered mountain, and as they did so they got a view of the Energon crystal that was sparkling and Megatron gazed into it.
"So much Energon." he said. "With a crystal that size, the Predacon forces will be unstoppable. Yessssss." he added, as Scorponok looked on. "The Maximals and then the universe, will be ours to conquer."
"And what to do about those Gems as they are called?" asked Scorponok.
Megatron then spoke to his loyal minion. "Oh, I can syphon their powers and use it to power our engines so we can get our ship off the ground."
"And the Humans?"
"We'll make them our slaves and turn their planet into our new fortress too!" he chuckled and then laughed evilly.
"Ohhhhh, Wazzpinator likezzzz that idea." said Waspinator.
"You're truly a genius, Megatron!" said Tarantulus.
"Yes, I know." Megatron told them, admiring his brilliance.
Little did they know, the someone who was watching the previous battle was hiding on the cliff and under a camo-trap. They used a set of binoculars to track them, they weren't your average onlooking device, these ones looked military grade.
"Hmm, so, the ones on this side trying to enslave our planet, eh?" they said in a female voice, and soon, the mysterious woman snuck away to what looked like a mobile base she had hidden there, it was built to look like an ordinary motorhome, but equipped with what looked like the latest technology. "I better report this to HQ pronto." she said, taking off the camo-tarp, revealing it to be a young woman with long dark auburn hair and sunglasses dressed in a black, white, blue and silver uniform and there was a symbol on it that was two letters, 'S' and 'W', even though the 'W' looked like the letter 'V' with a slash next to it. She unzipped her uniform a little bit to expose her cleavage, she appeared to have I cup breasts.
After pressing a few buttons, the image of a shadowy figure appeared on the screen and had a pen in his hand. "Ah, hello there, Harper." said the shady man. "What do you have to report?"
The woman was Jen Harper, a soldier who served her country well and is now part of a new task force. "Sir, it appears as though a race of beings called the Predacons have come to Earth." she told her superior.
The mystery man in the image let out a look of concern, "Are they hostile?"
"It seems so." she went on. "The leader of these Predacons, Megatron, as he's called, wants to get enough of something called Energon to make humans his slaves and turn our planet into their fortress." said Jen. She felt concerned and so did her superior on the monitor. "Shall we try and destroy them right now?" she asked
"No, not yet." said the shadowed man. "We know what they're trying to do, but they don't know that we know. So, we can't know anything for sure just yet. Keep on them, but don't let them find you."
"Aye aye." she said. "Also, it seems as though the Gems are fighting against the Predacons and have allied themselves with some group called the Maximals. I don't know who they are, but I intend to find out from the shadows."
The shadowed man nodded, "Do what you must, but if your cover is blown, it could jeopardize the whole mission."
"I'm well aware of what could happen, sir!" said Jen. 'And at the same time, I have to find out who was responsible for what happened to my unit and the murder of my father.' she thought, before turning her attention back to her boss. "I'll keep you posted with further updates, the minute they come up, sir." she saluted. "Harper out!"
"Agent Red, singing off!" The man, now called Agent Red, turned off his side of the screen.
After she disconnected from her transmission, she then got a look at a picture of her as a child and the man with her and a woman were her parents, "I'm doing what I can to make you proud Dad, no matter what it takes." she said to herself. "And Mom, where are you? I keep trying to find where you are, but I keep coming up short." she then felt the tears build up inside her. She let them out as she began crying.
As soon as sunset fell over, the moon rose into the sky and the Maximals and Gems went riding on the side of the cliff. Throughout the ride, Steven noticed Amethyst arguing with Optimus and Rattrap.
"That was a reckless thing you did during the second battle, Amethyst." said Optimus, feeling a little disappointed with the way Amethyst acted during the battle.
"I could not just stand by and do nothing while they were shooting at the others!" she shot back at him.
"Hey if you just listen to orders clearly for once, maybe that wouldn't have happened." Rattrap ranted.
"Oh really? And you think you're all that, aren't you?!" she shot back at Rattrap this time. "You couldn't fuse with Steven like we can!"
"At least I don't know how to fuse with another Maximal!" he said. "And I'm glad I don't, because I would not want to be caught dead being fused to chopperface!" he pointed at Dinobot.
Dinobot snarled for a little bit, but paid it no mind and Cheetor tried to ignore it.
"Yes, that would truly be a problem." said Garnett.
Steven did not understand that at all, neither did Pearl.
'Geez, these guys just don't stop.' thought Pearl, as she muttered in her head.
Just then, Garnett put her arm around Pearl and comforted her while Cheetor was about to feel really enraged, and was about to intervene…. Until Rhinox shook his head, signaling him not to do so, and they did so without speaking to each other.
Meanwhile, the Predacons looked on and spoke to each other.
Scorponok spotted the whole argument, "Hmm, it seems there is tension among the Maximals and the Gems.
"Is there now?" Megatron grinned, he then zoomed in on the ones arguing. "Well then, it seems to be an argument between the rodent and the one called Amethyst. Yesss!"
"Uh, who do you think would win that battle?" asked Scorponok.
Waspinator chittered, "Wazzzzpinator bets it's Amethyst."
"I think the rat might have the bigger advantage." Tarantulus said.
"Who cares about who wins?" Terrorsaur did not care for this. "I would love to see those two destroy each other."
"Hmmmm, good point Terrorsaur!" Megatron said, agreeing with the Pterodactyl Predacon. "I can't have them beating us to the Energon. Terrorsaur, you and Waspinator head over there and create a distraction!"
"Right away!" said Terrorsaur. "Waspinator, let's go!"
And with that said, Waspinator and Terrorsaur raced over to the area they were at.
"A little tension capitolled with some destruction, always a good combo. Yesssss." said Megatron, as he thought about it.
While the Predacons were flying their way, the Gems and Maximals were still arguing about Dinobot being placed on the team as their strategist. He may have revealed Megatron's plans for Earth and such, but Rattrap and Amethyst still did not trust him at all.
"He's with us!" said Optimus.
"Hey I'm not saying he shouldn't be on the team" Amethyst shot back again. "I'm just saying he should be careful not to irritate the wrong person."
"Will you quit arguing and listen to Optimus for once, will ya?" Rattrap interrupt.
Amethyst snarled in frustration towards Rattrap. The two of them got in each other's faces and then, all of a sudden there was a loud sound.
*SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHH* It was the sound of tires stopping while on the ground.
Steven stopped the vehicle, turned around and stared at them all in frustration and rage, "Knock it off, all of you!" he yelled. "Arguing about Dinobot being in the group is not gonna help us any! It's only gonna divide us even more! So I don't care what anyone thinks, we need a strategist! And besides, the entire galaxy is in danger, it's our job to save it, that's what heroes do, right!?" he shot back at them, making them all stare in surprise.
Cheetor however was motivated by what he said in a calm way, "Hell yeah, Steven."
Optimus was stunned that Steven was starting to be an upstanding 'How could a boy like him be so wise and not show it to others?' he thought.
"Steven is technically correct." said Garnet, agreeing with what he said. "A team divided among itself cannot stand."
"And if we can't get along, we'll fall at the hands of the enemy." replied Pearl.
Optimus nodded in agreement with them, as did Cheetor, Rhinox, Steven and Garnet.
Rattrap and Amethyst then turned their backs from each other and huffed.
"If he ends up leading us into a trap, I am so blaming you, rodent." Amethyst glared.
"Oh kiss my side plates, Gem!" Rattrap snarled.
Before any more tensions could break out, Cheetor growled and spotted something, it was Waspinator and Terrorsaur flying at them, and the two started to open fire.
"Flyers inbound!" said Pearl.
"Heads up! Incoming!" Cheetor warned.
The two flyers began to converge into their robot modes, "Wazzzpinator, TERRORIZE" He buzzed and was in robot mode now.
"Terrorsaur, TERRORIZE!" he squawked as his robot form appeared.
Steven was beginning to feel irritable, "These guys are really working my last good nerve!" he said, jumping out of his vehicle
"I say it's time we take them out for good." said Garnet.
"I'm down with that!" Cheetor agreed with Garnet.
"Defensive Positions!" Optimus said.
All the Maximals began switching to their robot modes and the Gems geared up for another battle. They armed their weapons and fired.
Terrorsaur and Waspinator continued to shoot at them and they were dodging their attacks.
Amethyst then points at Dinobot, "What about him?" she asked.
"He's with us!" said Optimus.
"I'm not buying it just because you say so!" Amethyst snarked.
"Just do what he says for once, will ya?" Rattrap shouted, irritated with Amethyst's attitude.
The two flying Predacons dive in from the sky and the blasts from their guns were hammering away at the Maximals and Gems. However, the Maximals returned fire, their weapons recoiled and the Gems fired a few blasts at the Predacons too, but they dodged them.
Optimus saw that the mountain they were on was a little bit unstable on one part. "Hold your fire! We could cause an avalanche!" he warned.
Rattrap turned to his leader, "Have you crossed your wires!?" he yelled. "They're coming back!"
He was right, and sure enough, Waspinator and Terrorsaur were coming back around for another attack.
Steven then fired at them with his blasts, "Man, I don't know how we can hold them off much longer!" he said.
"I'll handle this!" Optimus said, as his missile launchers went up over his shoulders and his mask shielded his mouth now. Activating his jets, he launched himself into the air and got out one of his swords and slashed the missiles that Waspinator fired his way.
Waspinator and Terrorsaur begin to dive in, but they already begin to spark and short, "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" they yelled in pain.
Optimus fired his two arm missiles and it exploded. *BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM* The two Predacons flyers were taken down by the two missiles, then began to revert back to their Beast modes and head back to where they were before, but they crashed to the ground.
"That should do it!"
Megatron on the other hand was unamused by this. "Scorponok, use your missiles on that side of the mountain!"
"At once, Lord Megatron!" Scoponok said, as he transformed and fired the missiles in question.
He fires the missiles with pinpoint accuracy and they hit the mountain, causing it to shake. "Not good!" said Steven.
"Uh oh!" said Cheetor, as he returned to Beast Mode.
"Cheetor, look out!" Pearl shouted, getting Cheetor out of the way.
"Take cover!" Rattrap called out.
The missiles caused an avalanche, as it all came down onto the Maximals and the Gems. "Noooooo!" Optimus shouted in horror.
Megatron laughed evilly. "Hahahaha, that should keep them busy!" he taunted, as he kept on going the same direction he was going, but then all of a sudden, an obstacle was evident in their sights.
While the avalanche came down on them, Rhinox was slow to respond, but then Dinobot and Garnet raced him out of there, and Amethyst got Rattrap out of that spot of bother.
"Wow, that was a close call!" said Amethyst.
The two of them walked over to Dinobot and congratulated him as well as checked on Rhinox.
"You okay Rhinox?" asked Garnet.
"I'm fine." Rhinox replied. "Thanks to you two." he added to them.
"Good save there, chopper-face!" Rattrap grinned, offering his hand.
"Yes, very good." added Amethyst.
Dinobot normally wouldn't do this, but he did so and shook hands with both of them. "Much appreciated," he said.
Steven, Cheetor and Pearl wiped their foreheads. "Phew, we all got out of there alive," said Steven.
"But what about your ride?" asked Cheetor.
"Oh, don't worry, I can always build another one, like I did that one." Steven replied.
Cheetor gasped, "You built that!?" he asked, getting a nod from Steven. "Whoa, ultra gear!"
Optimus flys over to him and is thankful that none of them were harmed, "Thank the Allspark, you're all okay. And I'm impressed you were able to build that vehicle."
"Thank you, Optimus." said Steven, as he saluted him, and he did the same thing. "And I'm glad Dinobot got Rhinox out of there."
"I help too." said Garnet.
"You sure did, Garnet." replied Dinobot, agreeing with her.
"Yeah that was awesome, Garnett!" Cheetor agreed.
Rhinox nodded and so did Pearl. "Yes, I'm glad those flyers are down for the count."
"They'll be back!" said Cheetor.
Amethyst then looked at the mountain, "We still need to reach the energon before the Preds do." she said.
"Let's just be careful this time, and hopefully there won't be another avalanche." Rattrap replied.
"He's right." said Steven. "Here it goes." Steven got to work and found a rock, concentrated his energy and was able to convert it into a new vehicle for them to ride in, it looked like a bus, only it was armed to the teeth.
"Whoa!" Cheetor said in excitement. "Now that the avalanche is over, let's continue on!"
"Alright team, let's move!" ordered Optimus, as the Maximals all went back into their Beast modes and went into the bus, good thing there was enough room for them to enter.
The Maximals and the Gems all rode inside of it. During the ride, Steven kept on driving with Pearl working the navigation. Rhinox was behind Steven with Optimus, going over what was going on. "How are you holding up, Optimus?"
"Just fine, old friend." said Optimus. "My internal repairs were completed the moment we were attacked."
"Good to know," said Steven. "I was thinking, your flight mode could make it to the Energon easily, but the Energon build-up is too much. Have you thought of a way to prevent that from happening in the field?"
"At this point, no." replied Optimus. "But, maybe you can help us figure one out."
Garnet thought it over, 'Hmm, interesting idea. If we could find a way to prevent the build-up of Energon in them, it would be good.' she thought.
"Let's not forget that we outnumber the preds." Rattrap mentioned.
"True." said Optimus. "For now, we have to stay together. The Predacons could attack at any moment." he thought it over and wondered, "And there may be other surprises on this world."
"There are...Down there. Look." said Steven, as he stopped the bus pointed down to the side.
A lot of them all looked out the windows and saw a flat green sward area there. with what is obviously a strange structure of standing stones, that looked a lot like Stonehenge, but in much better shape, in the middle of it. There is no telling how old it is or how it got there. "Very unusual. Any opinions?"
"Looks like a replica of Stonehenge in Europe." said Steve, as he and Rhinox glanced at it.
Dinobot wondered what that was, "A definite comparison." he said.
"Yeah, that's true!" said Rattrap.
"Whatever that is, it isn't natural!" Rhinox said, "We didn't build it, and neither did the Predacons."
"Hmmm, the mind boggles, " Garnett said.
"I wonder how it got there and who left it behind," said Pearl.
"Either way, we gotta find a way to get up the mountain." Cheetor said.
Meanwhile, the Predacons saw what Steven could do with anything that was lying on the ground. Megatron was both angered and impressed, "So that Steven Universe can make vehicles using his Gem power. An impressive ability, Yessss!" he said.
"But now those guys will be out of luck if they try to make it back to their base," said Scorponok.
"Yeah, their path has been blocked." said a weakened Terrorsaur, as he tried to hike up the mountain.
Megatron agreed, "True, and so much Energon..Yessss!" He felt the need for it rise in him. "I can almost taste its power!" he sure was excited about it.
"The Energon fields would destroy us as robots in less than a minute." warned Tarantulus. "We will have to stay in Beast form, and Optimus Primal and the Maximals are coming this way!"
"And those Gems too!" added Scorponok.
"Yes! The Maximals will have to remain in beast form as well." Megatron denoted with a sneer, "And I will handle Optimus myself."
During the ride, Steven and Pearl fused into Rainbow Quartz and managed to use a different means of transporting them up while Optimus did it the old fashioned way, by climbing up to the top. When he got up there, he was amazed by the sight of it. There is an open level area before it, where the rubble of blasted stone has fallen away. The Energon field crackled and snapped through the area as if it were like a lightning storm.
But then, out of nowhere, Megatron jumps up and roars, as Waspinator, Terrorsaur, Scorponok and Tarantulus all came up, the Gems all came up and so did all the Maximals and they all stared down at each other.
"Across the galaxy, it has come to this, Optimus Primal." said Megatron. "Face to face, tooth to claw. Yesss. Have you anything to say about that?"
Optimus had a tough and grim look on his face. "I'd say that's prime." he said, breaking his silence. "Let's do it!" he roared in righteousness as the Maximals and Gems all charged at them and vice versa.
Steven closed in on Waspinator, Cheetor joined Steven Universe. Rattrap and Pearl went after Scorponok, Rhinox charged at Tarantulus with Garnet, Dinobot and Amethyst went at Terrorsaur and lastly Optimus Primal charged at Megatron, and soon enough, they all crashed into each other and began their fight.
During the battle, the various crackles of the Energon could be heard. Steven got out his sword and began slashing at Waspinator and sliced his stinger in two. Cheetor pounced on Waspinator and scratched him with his claws. Optimus wrestled against Megatron and the Predacon leader stomped at him, but Optimus dodged his stomps.
Megatron then began to overwhelm him, struggling against him, Optimus used his gorilla strength to prevent Megatron from biting his head off, "Just admit that you've lost, Primal! The Energon will be mine! And there's nothing you can do about it!"
"THINK AGAIN, MEGATRON!" Steven shouted, as he kicked Megatron in the eye.
Megatron growled "Damn it!"
Amethyst and Dinobot did a double attack on Terrorsaur, which scratched his wings and left them with several markings.
Pearl and Rattrap also did a double attack too, and it was on Scorponok as Pearl grabbed him by the tail, wanting to avoid the stinger on it and began spinning him 27 times and did not get dizzy, after letting go, Scorponok was tossed in Rattrap's direction with a baseball bat-shaped rock, whacking him into the wall.
Garnet and Rhinox charged at Tarantulus and ran his horn through his underside while Garnet shot her arrow at the tarantula Predacon. "Nice shot, Garnet."
"Thank you." She bowed to Rhinox.
Waspinator tried getting back up, but to no avail.
Megatron was then grabbed by Optimus again and was thrown into a pile of rubble, with his head being stuck inside of it. He tried to get out, but was having trouble. "Surrender now Megatron! You're trapped!"
Megatron was as furious as furious could get, "NO! I SHALL NOT LET YOU DEFEAT ME, MAXIMAL SCUM!" He successfully freed himself from the rubble.
Megatron starts to charge, when Garnet jumps in and trips him up, Amethyst then helped her out, as did Pearl.
Optimus then grabbed Megatron by his tail, spun him around four times and tossed him Steven's way and he hit Megatron as if he was a baseball, sending him flying into the wall and ricocheting to the ground.
As Megatron got back to his feet, he could see his whole team was down for the count, with all the Gems and Maximals still standing.
"This is your last warning Megatron!" shouted Optimus. "This is the end for you!"
"It will never end, Noooo!" Megatron transformed to Robot mode and was surging out electricity. "For if I must die, I will take you with me! DIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!" he shouted.
He fired his giant plasma missile at all of them, however, Dinobot deflected the missile with his tail as he ran by, the missile hit the Energon and caused its effect to increase, the ground started shaking and everyone saw what was happening.
"AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!" Megatron yelled in frustration as he fell to the ground, unable to move.
"IT'S GONNA BLOW!" Rhinox yelled in horror, causing Tarantulus to dart his eyes in fright.
The Gems knew there was no time to lose, "Let's get out of here!" said Steven.
"Time to fade, heroes!" Cheetor said, and they all nodded.
The Maximals and the Gems all ran towards the bus as they descended down the mountain. Megatron's body surges out of control as Scorponok and the others grab him, and make their own way down.
After getting clear of place, the Gems and Maximals drove at breakneck speed until the Energon mountain kept increasing in surges and it spectacularly exploded. *KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!* And just like that, it was gone, the mountain was now a regular mountain of rock, not a single Energon crystal in sight. However, Megatron still felt the blast effect him and it cause him and the Predacons to fall down their side of the mountain.
The Maximals and Gems all got out of the bus and saw what had happened, however, they heard a horn honking *HONK HONK HONK* They all turned around to see someone driving a jeep and the one driving it was a hefty man who looked like Steven a little bit, only older. This was Greg Universe, Steven's dad, a former rock singer who runs a car wash in Beach City.
"What in the hell happened here?" asked Greg.
Steven turned around and began explaining everything to his father, plus he followed Optimus' advice of being honest with him. "Dad, it's like this…" he began.
A few minutes later...
"And that's what happened." he concluded.
Greg thought it over, "Hmm, Maximals and Predacons fighting over Energon on our world. And the Maximals are our allies. Well, alright, I can let them stay at the house, but as long as you be careful helping them on their mission." he approved this.
"Thank you, Dad," said Steven. "Here are the Maximals, Optimus Primal, Rattrap, Cheetor, Rhinox and Dinobot. He used to be a Predacon, but after saving Rhinox and all of us, he's proven himself to be an honorable warrior." he then turned his head to Dinobot. "And, thank you for deflecting Megatron's attack."
"You are very welcome, Steven Universe." said Dinobot. "I owed you and Optimus, as well as everyone else my life. Now, we are merely….Even."
Optimus smiled, "I'll accept that." he said.
"Well, at least Megatron's gone and so is the Energon." said Rattrap, feeling a little relieved. "So it's over. Hehehe. Can we go home now?"
"No Rattrap." said Optimus, being the bearer of bad news. "Our ship is too damaged to fly, so for now, we're stranded here with the Predacons on Earth." he knew that Rattrap was bummed about that. Megatron may be back, and there is still more Energon. If they ever get enough, they could conquer the entire Milky Way Galaxy as well as the entire universe."
Even though he was far away, Megatron could hear this. "And conquer it I shall!" he shouted.
Optimus paid it no mind, "So for now, let the battle be here...On this Earth, Maximals and Gems Vs. Predacons...And let it be called...BEAST WARS! He raised his fist into the air.

Me: Too true, and I wonder what else is in store for them if the Black Diamond Empire is running loose.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Also, we'll be seeing Connie, Bismuth, Lapis, Peridot and even Steven's pet Lion in the series as well. They just won't be doing so for the next few chapters. Also, we'll be seeing some of Steven and the Gems' old enemies appear in this as well, and who knows what could happen.
