This chapter is a sorry for slacking with the updating so much. Love you all so much for being so patient with me though. I will try so hard not to slack so bad again.

"Luucccassss" I squealed as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

"If you drop her we will kick your ass Luke" Rachel warns

"Lucas put her down" Lily rolled her eyes as she and Josh came down the stairs.

"Not until she says that The originals is better than the vampire diaries"

"Wait what... you think Damon is better than Klaus"

"I didn't say that" I say upside down "I said that the vampire diaries was better"

"Basically the same thing" Lily replies "okay Luke you can keep her like that until she changes her mind"

"Lucas Scott you put me down right now" I whined smacking his back not that it did much.

"Not until you say the originals was better"

"Okay fine" I grumble "the originals is better"

Lucas finally put me down and grinned "see now that wasn't so hard was it?"

"Everyone has opinions Luke" I mutter "yours isn't always right"

"I know" he nods "it was just funny to see and hear you whine"

"I hate you" I cross my arms and turn away from him

"No you don't, but its okay to feel that right now" he laughs "anyway what we doing today?"

"Shopping" Rachel cheered.

All the guys grumbled like we knew they would "I am not spending the next 5 to 6 hours walking behind you girls as you shop. Definitely not" Owen stated getting nods from the guys.

"Who said anything about you guys coming with us" Haley laughs "nope it's a girl day and then we can hit the club at the bottom of the road tonight"

"Sounds like my kind of day"

"And what are we suppose to do until then?" Nathan asks.

"I don't know, guy stuff" Haley shrugs her shoulders

"We could shoot hoops at the court" Jake suggested "and then grab something to eat a little later"

"See baby guy stuff" Haley states "now come on girls let's go get ready"

The girls and I went up to get ready. Once we were all ready for the day we headed down to see the guys still sitting in the kitchen.

"So we'll be ready at 8 so also be ready for then okay" I tell the guys and they give a nod "have fun at the court and we'll shop until we drop"

Each girl said bye to their guy "please be nice to Josh Luke" Lily begs her brother.

"I like him Lil, don't worry so much" he kisses the temple of her head relaxing her worries.

"Love you"

"Love you too Lil"

And then we were off to shop.

"So Brooke" I hear Rachel call out to me as I looked through the rack of clothing.

"Hmm?" I answer finding a cute top I liked.

"About Florida" she started grabbing my attention instantly. I look up from the top and look at her.

"What about it?" I ask

"Are you going?" she questioned "it's such a good opportunity"

I knew it was. I would be a fool to turn it down especially when that Charlotte girl was told about me. I was known. That was pretty awesome. I had two problems with moving to Florida though and yes one of them was leaving Lucas and not being able to see him on a regular basis, but the other thing was the fact that I never planned on continuing with cheerleading after high school.

I always though I would try a fashion major and finally in the future own my own clothing company. That has been my dream for so long. Cheerleading to me had always been just a fun activity that I really enjoyed.

I know I had to make a decision really soon and I know I have to think about it, but my mind didn't want too... it was scary being away from everyone on my own, but that's what college is meant to be right?

"So?" Haley taps my shoulder bringing me out of my thinking daze.

"I don't know" was all I managed to say with a shoulder shrug "let's just say I have a lot to think about"

"If it's the long distance that is stopping you Brooke don't let it. I've done it and yes it is hard I won't lie to you, but its also nice missing that person because when you see them again its like the first time you met every time and that's exciting" Rachel says

"And also Lucas will do everything to make the long distance work Brooke. He wouldn't let you go so easily" Lily assures me and I already knew that, but it would be so hard and I don't know in myself if I could do it, but I didn't want to say that.

"I know" I nod "okay so can we stop with this conversation and continue shopping please" I could see they were reluctant to do that, but I think they could see on my face that I didn't want to continue so they just nod and we go back to shopping and trying items on.

Once the girls and I were done shopping we grabbed Starbucks quickly before heading back to the cabin to get ready for the evening of drinking and dancing. I stepped out of the shower and saw Lucas sitting on the bed.

"Hi pretty girl" he smiles as his eyes travel my body "how was shopping with the girls?"

I walk over to the bed "it was fun" I say with a small shrug.

He looked up at me and pulled me into him wrapping his arms around my waist "what happened?"

"Could you really do the whole long distance thing Luke?" I ask that not leaving my mind since the girls brought it up.

"As long as you are willing to do it then yes of course I could" I knew that was going to be his reply.

"I don't know if I can do the long distance thing" I utter pulling out of his embrace "I don't know if I want to"

The room fell silent for a moment to the point I was scared to move in case I made a sound. And then he spoke breaking the silence.

"So you're going to Florida then and you want to break up is that what your telling me?"

I turn around to face him "I don't know and no Lucas I don't want to break up, but I also don't want to do the long distance thing"

"But if you move to Florida that's what we'd have to do Brooke"

I drop my towel and get dressed "not if you come with me"

I studied his eyes to try and read him, but I couldn't. I do the button up on my trousers before starting my light makeup.

"You want me to come with you" I nod "so you've chosen then?"

"Lucas it's a really good opportunity and I've never been scouted before" I tell him "I don't know if I can pass that up"

"But I thought you wanted to concentrate on your fashion in college?"

"I did. I do, but this is a good opportunity"

"Brooke I don't think I can just move to Florida with you. I haven't even applied to any schools over there. All my schools have been applied for"

"We could look and you can apply for one of them too" I assure him "it's not too late"

"Brooke I don't want to move to Florida"

I finish my makeup up and stand to my feet "okay then" was all that I say with a small nod. I know it wasn't fair for me to ask him to come with me, but I slightly hoped he would have been super excited to come with me. I didn't expect this reaction and I know it's not fair to get mad, but my emotion is showing a mad sign "well I don't want to do long distance" I state

"Brooke. Lucas. You guys ready?" Rachel called out for us.

"Yeah, we're coming" I call back.

"So where does that leave us?" Lucas asked staring back at me

I grab my jacket from behind the door "I don't know Luke, but it's not looking good huh?" I then open the door to our room and head down to meet the others.

Tonight is a drinking session for sure.
