A/N: I'm trying, I'm trying. I hope everyone is doing well. These two are gonna take a minute, but they'll get there, I promise. I've already written the epilogue so I have proof….Thanks for hanging in here with me folks.

Disclaimer: I don't own Chuck

"Argh!" she bellowed, slamming her fist down on the table. She got some looks, but everyone left her alone, everyone but one very fit cardiologist.

"Sar, you alright?" Devon asked, walking up to her. She was sitting outside thinking about her dad, and the joy the Laserdisc had brought him. For years he had drug that Laserdisc player with him, where ever he went. During the moves he had lost his copy of Big Trouble in Little China. She didn't know how Devon had found the copy, but she was grateful.

"I'm fine," Sarah said, shaking her head. "I just….I feel so damn frustrated. I wish I had a heavy bag, or a sledge hammer and I could just destroy things, you know?"

Devon nodded, as an idea came to him that made him grin. "Are you serious about the sledgehammer?" Sarah looked up at him, confusion on her face.

"So what you're telling me is she's losing her dad and she wants to destroy property?" Carina asked Devon, as the two of them, and Zondra stood, watching Sarah.

"She just needs to blow off steam, you know?" Devon said. "Besides, isn't Chuckster behind on taking out that wall since he had to do that work for the Collective?" Carina shuddered. "Was it that bad?"

"I gave up sex for two days," she muttered.

"That doesn't seem that bad," Devon replied.

"She talks a big game," Zondra began.

"You're lucky I don't swing that way" Carina told Zondra. She spun and faced Devon. "And YOU you're lucky your wife scares the shit out of me, else I'd climb you like a damn tree," Carina told Devon. Zondra was trying not to burst out laughing. "But yeah, Chuckles, is behind on his work, so…" she looked over at Sarah. "Think blondie has any strength in those arms?"

"Holy shit!" Carina muttered to Zondra, watching Sarah go to town on a wall. They had brought Sarah to the house they were working on. Sarah had looked around the house, impressed. She asked a lot of questions, about how the remodeling was going. Did they have any decoration ideas? She was full of ideas and questions, and at one point, Zondra and Carina shared a look, both of them wondering if maybe they had found a partner that could help them. Carina and Zondra were both good at fixing things, destroying things, but remodeling, or redesigning…that wasn't in their purview.

That probably wasn't fair to Chuck, three on one, women to men, but neither of them thought Chuck would complain, especially if she continued with these good ideas and suggestions. When she grabbed the sledgehammer, and swung it like a pro, taking out a huge chunk of wall, both of their eyes lit up.

"She's gonna save us money," Carina said in a low sing-song voice to Zondra. "Chuckles is gonna love that."

"Does Sarah know what Chuck did about getting that Laserdisc?" Carina shook her head. "Huh."

"What, huh?" Carina asked. "Why did you huh like that?"

"It sounds like the plot of one of those weird, dopey-ass, Hallmark movies Ellie likes to watch," Zondra said in a low voice. "Especially a Christmas one."

"Pbbth," Carina replied, and chuckled. "That would require our boy to move forward with his life, and you know that ain't a happenin'. I love the nerd, I do, but you know he ain't got the confidence to approach her, and I sure as shit ain't telling her what he did."

"Oh, hell no," Zondra added. "There is no way I get involved with that. Plus her whole deal with her dad dying." Zondra shook her head. "We don't need that drama." Zondra's phone buzzed. She grabbed it and looked at it. "Oh, our order's ready, wanna ride with me?"

"And leave her here, by herself?" Carina asked.

"We're going to the hardware store, and what is she gonna do, knock down a wall?" Zondra replied. "Besides, she really seems to be on a roll." Zondra was silent for a moment. "Like she's got some real issues to work out."

"Yeah," Carina said softly. "Hey, blondie," She called. Sarah turned to them. "We need to run to the hardware store and pick up our supplies, we'll be back in thirty, max."

"Fine," Sarah said, turning back to the wall, and swinging the sledge.

"Damn, girl got frustrations," Carina muttered as the two walked out of the house.

Sarah continued to work in silence, destroying the wall in front of her. After about ten minutes, she stopped, catching her breath. She was blowing out a breath when she heard it.

"Come on!" she heard a voice say, and then the clanging of metal on metal.

Sarah looked around, found a regular size hammer, and started off, trying to find out where the noise was coming from. She found a door that led to a downstairs basement.

"Oh, this isn't super sketchy or anything," she muttered, slowly starting down the stairs.

"Will you let go!" she heard the male voice and again, a metal on metal sound. She came around the corner and saw a tall man, reaching up above him, doing something to a pipe.

"Don't move," she yelled. His hands went up, the wrench he was using still stuck on the bolt he had been turning. The wrench fell, striking him on the head. She winced.

"OW!" he yelled. Apparently the wrench falling finished unloosing the pipe as it fell as well, also hitting him on the head. The man fell off of the short ladder, and crashed to the ground.

"Oh my God!" Sarah yelled running toward him. "I am so sorry." She saw a bit of blood on his head, looked over and saw a sink and a washcloth. She ran over, to wet the washcloth, but when she turned on the water, nothing came out. She looked to her right, saw a valve and went to turn it.

"No, don't!" Chuck yelled. He didn't say anything else after that. Water was pouring out of the pipe onto his head. Sarah quickly turned the valve. "Knew I should have shut it off at the main," he muttered.

A/N: Oh look, they meet…again. What? Oh, you wanna know what's next?

"Yeah it does," Devon told him. "I'm a heart doctor, my man, and that means I also understand all about the heart."

"I'm pretty sure that's not how it works," Chuck disagreed.

"Agree to disagree," Devon said with a shrug. "That woman needs a friend, that's it, but you are scared of letting anyone get to close. Hell, I'm shocked your as good of friends with Carina and Zondra as you are."

Awesome logic….I mean, it's awesome, right? You know who's awesome, you, for reading. Thank you. Take care of yourself and hopefully I'll see you tomorrow.
