The Amazing Ghost Musician: What's going on all of you fanfic maniacs? Are you ready for another exciting adventure of Steven Universe: War of the Beasts?
Me: If so, good, because you've come to the right place! I know we're excited for this chapter. Right broski?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Hell Yeah! You wanna let our readers know what's taking place in this chapter?
Me: Sure. Today, Megatron, Tarantulas and Terrorsaur discover this floating mountain with enough Energon to power an army, Megatron gets caught in the surge and goes power crazy. Also, a Gem named Bluebird Azurite (aka Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby) joins the Predacons to get revenge on Steven. Megatron allows Bluebird Azurite to do so. Steven sees Bluebird and allows him to look around his house, but something tells him that something is off about him, but the other Gems don't believe him. Man, disbelief is such a vile thing!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: It's a good thing that Optimus and the Maximals are around to help out Steven, see if Bluebird Azurite is still evil or not. Am I right?
Me: Yeah man. But also, something else is happening. But I will not say what it is. While we started this, I was listening to 'Rock The Casbah' by The Clash. A classic, wouldn't you say?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: What's come to your mind now?
Me: Oh, not much, however, I think you told me about doing an alternate story at one point. What was it again?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Don't you remember the idea I gave you?
Me: I think it was a Black Lagoon story, revolving around Revy and Rock.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Well after watching the tv series, I've seen much chemistry between the two, even though Revy and Rock are kind of opposite from one-another. Plus in a way, I think they have feelings for each other.
Me: Me too, but they never openly professed it.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: That's because TV shows never really show most of the good stuff that us fans like, they just wanna make the episodes of the shows to get their freakin' paychecks. That's why we keep getting screwed over time and time again.
Me: Yeah, that is so wrong.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Anyway, I don't wanna get angry thinking about corporate networks and businesses screwing all of us over. Let's focus on today's chapter of Steven Universe: War of the Beasts.

Chapter 6: Bluebird & The Power Surge!
We find ourselves with Steven, he was up in the middle of the night. He looked up at the sky, contemplating and he heard footsteps, he looked behind him to see Optimus Primal in his beast form, he had come to join him.
"Steven, what are you doing up?" he asked. "It's after midnight."
Steven turned to Optimus. "Couldn't sleep, Optimus." he said. "I just can't stop thinking about that probe, I still wonder who sent it here, what they want and where they come from." he said, looking up at the sky.
Optimus also thought about it too. "I still wonder about it too," he replied. They both look up and see the night sky to wonder what else is over the horizon. "But, you should get some sleep. I'll keep watch for the remainder of the night."
"Okay." said Steven. "See you in the morning." and with that, Steven went back to bed
Meanwhile, Tarantulas had been at his computer and spotted something almost out of nowhere.
"What in the hell?" asked Tarantulas.
He turned around to see that two colored individuals were walking about, one red and one blue. They were both Gems, these two were Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby.
"Nice going, Ruby. We both tripped over that stalactite." Aquamarine pointed out.
"Oh, like you were looking out any better." Ruby shot back in an angry manner.
Tarantulas spotted this and snickered to himself. "Hmmm, this could bode well for me." he said. He then went into beast mode and decided to do a jump scare to them.
"If you had just not tripped, this wouldn't have happened!" Aquamarine pointed out.
"If you hadn't been such a big oaf, I would have been fine!" Ruby shot back, again.
But then, both of them turned around to see Tarantulas in beast mode and he yelled in fury, making them scream in horror. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" they bolted right for the exit, but Tarantulas shot his web at them, capturing them.
He transformed into robot mode and dragged them into the main hold where Megatron had been looking over a map of the territory they had laid claim to. "Tarantulas, what have you brought here?" he asked, seeing Tarantulas come in.
"Lord Megatron, I've found some intruders sneaking outside of the base." he said, showing them to him. He cut the web open, and they both dropped to the floor.
The two gems were in horror at this, "W-W-W-Who or what are you!?" asked Aquamarine.
Megatron decided to transform. "I am Megatron, leader of the Predacons of the planet Cybertron."
Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby looked at each other in shock, "You're….Transformers? What are you doing here?"
"We came here seeking enough Energon to power the Predacons' entire galactic conquest." said Megatron. "But, the only obstacle we have is the Maximals and their ally, Steven Universe and his accurset team of Gems."
After hearing the name, Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby knew that they wanted revenge on him.
"So, you're Steven's enemies too?" asked Aquamarine.
Tarantulas nodded, "Precisely, how do you know him?"
"We fought him many times before," said Eyeball Ruby.
Aquamarine nodded to that. "He is our sworn enemy." she added. "Maybe we can help you take him down."
This had Megatron and Tarantulas intrigued, so they decided to discuss this alone and whispered. "Hmmmmm, this is quite intriguing. Yessssss." he said.
"Can we really trust them?" asked Tarantulas.
"We could use this to our advantage," said Megatron. "The Maximals still outnumber us 9 to 6. So, with them around, our numbers would be nearly even."
Tarantulas knew this to be true. "Hmm, yes, you're right my lord." he said. "Plus, my first 3 Gem-Predacons are ready to go to work. One is called Flamenix, another is Spinotor and the third one….Darkfanger."
Megatron was impressed, "Excellent, we'll bring them out of the petri dish soon." he then returned his attention to them. "Well, how would you two like to help us to help you get revenge on Steven?"
"We're all ears, Lord Megatron." said Eyeball Ruby, as she and Aquamarine bowed to Megatron, making him smile.
The next day, it was sunrise and here we see a red-eyed hermit nuthatch flying by, this bird itself is hostile by nature. It soars majestically through the sky and then it hears a loud noise, "SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!" Terrorsaur swooped in and accidentally bashed into the bird, making it deviate off course.
Terrorsaur snickered evilly. "Ahhh...It's good to be a Predacon." he said. He flew on by and then he saw something that completely stunned him. He gasped as his eyes grew wide at this, "By the Inferno!" he said. An entire mountain wafting gently over the Earth about a mile up, Terrorsaur lands flies through a crater. This close, he can hear the throb of power surging within the mountain.
Terrorsaur feels it beneath his feet, "Power." he said. "This rock's alive with it." he said, as he kept flapping his wings. He turns around the corner and moves to the edge of the crater and marvels at this. "Energon!" he said, in amusement. "Enough to power an army. Lord Megatron will be pleased to hear about this." he saw the Energon buckle and spark, it cracked like a gun.
Terrorsaur then flew away from the mountain and began to race back to base. Little did he know, Cheetor was out making his rounds, he gasped when he saw Terrorsaur leave. "Jumpin Gyros, I've never seen Terrorsaur fly away from a place with Energon before." he said to himself. "I wonder what this is about." he then races back to the Maximal Base to figure it out.
Back at Beach City, Steven is seen warping into Little Homeworld and shows that he was making a commercial to promote it.
"Hey, all you Gems out there in the universe! Have you been feeling lost and confused in this new era? Then come on down to Little Homeschool! Are you used to destroying things? Then learn to be constructive instead!" he monologues for the commercial. "Are you used to plotting? Then you can tend to this plot of land!" He showed an image of the land outside of the building. "Feeling lost without direction from the Diamonds? Come and find your center." He was now seen surrounded by other Gems who lost their way. Now it shows him walking on the grounds of the school. "Everyone deserves a chance to change, so come on down today!" He ended it with the phone number for Little Homeschool on the screen. "And, cut." said a video of him making it, as he picks up the camera. "Thanks for helping update our commercial, guys."
Larimar cheered with glee. "I'm an actor," he said. Everyone also cheered for him, making him smile.
"I'll get this home and do some editing." Steven said
Peridot then took a whiff of Steven and said, "Steven, you smell good."
This made Steven a little flattered and at the same time, confused. "Uh, what?"
"It's written on your back." said Peridot.
"Huh?" Steven then saw his reflection in the mirror and looked at the back of his jacket. The writing on Steven's back says "Tell Me I Smell Good" on it.
Peridot guffawed at this. "You obviously wrote this yourself." she said, as she burst out laughing, along with everyone else.
"No, I didn't." Steven complained, he took his jacket off and tried to figure it out as he slurped it up.
"Mnh! Bleh! Tomato soup?" he said, spitting it out.
Peridot felt a little confused, "I thought you loved tomato soup!"
Steven replied, "Yeah, but... where'd my juice go?" He then ran over to his car and saw toilet paper on it, "Oh, no! The Dondai's been, um... kinda covered in toilet paper?" It was then that Steven heard someone laugh mysteriously. "Hey! Whoever you are, that's "pranking me," you've got a really weird idea of what a prank is." he ranted, as he sighs. "At least I don't have to pick up more toilet paper." he smiled and decided to use it to his advantage.
Meanwhile, one of the Predacons was pacing back and forth. It was Scorponok, he seemed nervous about something. He walked to the left, then to the right and left again. Waspinator saw this and spoke up, "Scorponok makes Wazzzpinator nervous. Muzzzt you pace back and forth?" he asked.
Scorponok looked up and saw him, "I can't help it, Waspinator." he said. "There is something happening, and it's chilling my circuits."
"Perhapzzz Wazzzpinator can be of azzzistanzzz to you." he said.
Scorponok thought it over and he reluctantly agreed. "Sure thing." and with that, they both walked around the area to find the cause of his underserved tension.
Steven then pulls up to his house and the inside of the house plays the song, Haven't You Noticed (I'm a Star) on the stereo. "Hmm?" he said, listening to the song. "Whoa, another welcome party. A new Gem must've arrived."
Steven walked into the living room and saw Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl as they let Steven join in. "Yo, dude, come over here and introduce yourself."
He walked up and saw a short Fusion Gem in the room, this short fusion gem had four legs and two arms while it looked red and blue all at the same time. "Welcome to Earth! My name's-" Steve greeted, before he got cut off.
The short Fusion Gem said, with cockney accent "Well, well, well, if it ain't the old Gem savior himself, Steven Universe!" as they turned around.
Steven gasped in shock as he noticed that "Eyeball" and Aquamarine knew about fusion and they had fused together. "Bluebird Azurite, at your service!" she said. "All right, give us a hug then!" she added, as she hugs Steven.
"Oh! Heh." she shrugged his shoulders, nervously.
Garnet shrugged her shoulders, "Cute." she said.
Bluebird hugged Steven, but then she said, "Mmm. Oh! You like food, yeah?" asking him.
"Yeah?" said Steven.
"Well, sit tight, then," said Bluebird. "I'll be right back!" she then flies away.
"What?!" Steven said in shock.
"Yeah, she just got here and is already exploring Earth cuisine," said Pearl. "Cheetor is out on patrol and Rattrap is playing a game of Cyber-Poker while Rhinox and Optimus are on the lookout for any Predacon activity.
"Oh, makes sense to me." said Steven, as Bluebird flies back into the room with a platter of food for him. "What is this?"
"Just some old Earth things. Clams, peanut butter, and a side of fresh cut grass." said Bluebird, as she begs. "Please enjoy it. I'm begging you. Please!"
Amethyst then said, "Gosh, Steven, don't make her beg."
Steven was very nervous, but he went along with it. "S-Sure! Heh. I'll just, uh... dip this here..." he grabs a blade, dips it in the peanut butter and eats the fresh cut grass. "Mmm."
"Is it good?" asked Bluebird.
"Yeah, it- it's great." he nodded, while he felt a chill go up his spine.
Bluebird laughs, "Brilliant."
However, Steven had a look of disgruntledness on his face. "Can I see you guys in the bathroom?" he asked Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl. They all nodded and followed him. When they got in there, they saw Steven's dad, Greg. Greg was busy brushing his hair and Steven knocked on the door.
"Sorry, Dad. Emergency meeting." said Steven, they all stood in a circle around the bathroom. "Don't panic, but I think Bluebird is a fusion of Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby!"
This made them gasp a little bit, but Amethyst was not surprised. "Well, doi."
"It's pretty obvious," said Garnet, keeping her cool.
Steven was stunned to see that they were all not phased by this. "What?! Well, how come you're all so calm about this?" he demanded. "Did you forget that Aquamarine kidnapped me? How about the fact that Eyeball Ruby tried to stab me and ratted me out while I was on trial? They must've fused because they both hate me!"
Garnet put her hand on his shoulder. "That was them. This is Bluebird."
However, Steven was not convinced. "But she pranked me earlier today!" He defended himself. "She put a sign on my back that said I... smelled good, which in my opinion I do, switched my juice with tomato soup, neatly stack toilet paper... on top of my car?"
Pearl told him. "None of that stuff sounds particularly malicious."
"Besides, don't you like tomato soup?" asked Amethyst.
"Yeah, but isn't it convenient that Bluebird just showed up here at my house?" he asked.
"Steven, you've literally invited all problematic Gems from across the universe to come here and learn a better way of living."
Steven looked a little bummed out when he heard that. "Well, right."
Greg then held his son close to him, "Listen, Schtu-ball, if you don't want this Gem around, that's totally fair."
Steven sighed, "No, you guys are right. Everyone deserves a chance to change."
Garnet then reassured him again. "Don't worry. If she tries anything funny, we'll be there to squash her."
This got a light smile from Steven, "Thanks, Garnet." he said, "I'm gonna go talk to Optimus and see if he can help figure out who is behind all this."
The lot of them all nodded, "Yeah, that would probably be a good idea."
Steven stepped out of the bathroom, and saw Bluebird right in front of the door. "Oh, Bluebird, I'll be right back. There's someone I need to speak with."
"Okay." said Bluebird.
And with that done, Steven went to the Axalon.
Meanwhile, outside the Predacon base, Megatron had gathered Waspinator, Scorponok, Tarantulas and Jasper all together as they monitored Bluebird's progress. While doing something else.
"Yesssss, it seems Ruby and Aquamarine's plan is working, albeit at snail's pace, but it's working nonetheless."
"Indeed so, my lord." said Jasper.
"Wazzzzpinator hopezzzz thizzzz plan workzzzz." said Waspinator, as he was buzzing about.
Megatron then brought in a hovering device, "I also programmed this target box for the Maximals' energy signatures. Now...Watch." he launches the 'Target Box' and one of the automated defense cannons popped out and shot the Target Box, causing it to blow up.
The Predacons and Jasper all chuckled evilly and knew that the test was a success. "Excellent work, Lord Megatron."
"Thank you, Jasper." he said to her. "With a few more of these in place, this whole area will become a death trap for the Maximals, Steven Universe and those Gems of his."
Just then, they heard a screech coming from the sky and they saw that Terrorsaur had returned. "Lord Megatron, Lord Megatron, you won't believe what I just discovered!" he said, feeling frantic. "I found another Energon source! It's inside this floating mountain!"
This had Scorponok stunned, "W-W-What!?" he said.
"Really?" asked Megatron, getting a nod from Terrorsaur.
"Yes, it's enough Energon to power all of us!" replied Terrorsaur.
"Intriguing!" Megatron said, amused by this. "Tarantulas, are the new Gem Predacons ready?"
"Ready and charged for battle," said Tarantulas.
"Excellent!" said Megatron. "Scorponok, take Jasper and Waspinator, head over to the Maximal base and provide the distraction while we head for this floating mountain!"
"Yes, my lord!" said Scorponok, as he, Jasper and Waspinator mobilized.
"Once Bluebird executes the next phase of the plan, we'll be ready. And our new members will be set for the ambush."
Little did they know, Cheetor overheard the whole thing and he was horrified by this. "Ultra bad!" he said, as he bolted away from the Predacon and jumped onto a hoverboard that Cheetor now had, thanks to Steven and Garnet.
Meanwhile at the Axalon, the Maximals all stayed at their posts and Steven walked into the comm-room, "Hey guys."
"Steven, what brings you in here?" asked Rhinox.
And Steven then tells them what had been going on, "Well, it's like this." he said. "A new Gem arrived, Bluebird Azurite, but I have a feeling that it's actually two evil gems I fought before."
This made Rattrap stop playing his game of Cyber-Poker. "What are their names?" asked Rattrap.
"Eyeball Ruby and Aquamarine." Steven told them. "Aquamarine was the one who kidnapped me before. And Eyeball Ruby tried to stab me and ratted me out while on trial." This made Rattrap and Rhinox gasp in shock.
Optimus then spoke up, "You've mentioned that before." he said. "Why is it that they hate you?" he wondered.
"It was because I tricked Eyeball and her sister before," Steven said to them. "Also, she refuses to believe that I'm the son of Rose Quartz and thinks I'm not worthy of being a Gem."
"HOW DARE SHE SAY THAT!?" yelled Rattrap. "She had no right to belittle you like that!"
Optimus holds him back, "Calm down, Rattrap. Better let me handle this." Rattrap agreed silently to that and sat back down. "So, to this very day, they still hate you?" Steven nodded. "Well, I'll figure something out." he looked at the scanner. "Cheetor's coming in at top speed."
"Better open the Hatch," said Rhinox.
"I'll do it." said Steven, pressing a switch to open up the hatch and let Cheetor inside. "Boy, he seems spooked."
"Yes." Optimus agreed. "Cheetor wouldn't be moving that fast if he didn't have something urgent to report."
Cheetor stopped the hoverboard and transformed into robot mode. "Big bot, Steven, you won't believe what I just heard!"
"What is it?" asked Steven.
"Megatron's setting up an ambush." he started off. "He's going to attack our base!"
This news made them all gasp in horror. "You sure?" asked Steven. "And is Jasper with them?"
"Yes!" said Cheetor.
"Well, other than that, I've got my own problem." said Steven.
Cheetor was left confused. "What is it?" he asked.
Steven said, "You remember those two gems I fought before, Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby?" he asked, getting a nod from the Cheetah Maximal. "Well, they know about how to fuse and they've become Bluebird Azurite."
"Bluebird Azurite, eh?" he asked. He then thought, "Well, what did they do?" Steven explained to Cheetor what they did, at first he thought it was childish but he believed it. "Hmmm, sounds a little far-fetched, but I believe you man. Also, from what I overheard, Bluebird is actually part of the Predacons' plan!"
"WHAT!?" Steven shouted.
Optimus, Rhinox and Rattrap were baffled by this. "And what exactly is Megatron's plan?" asked Optimus.
Cheetor then explained the rest. "Megatron plans on setting an ambush for us, he heard from Terrorsaur about some monster Energon source on that floating mountain!" he concluded.
Rhinox was confused, "Floating mountain?"
"I knew it, you got your circuits crossed, spots." said Rattrap, as he did not believe it one bit. "Even on this planet, mountains don't float."
"I wouldn't say that, Rattrap!" Steven said, denoting Cheetor's estimation of this. "I've actually been on one and saw an entire cave of golden crystals." he said.
Cheetor nodded, "Hmm, well, it's true. I saw it." he said. "Terrorsaur bolted out of the area and informed Megatron about it, no doubt he's going to use the power for himself."
Optimus then turned to the Rhino Maximal and said, "Rhinox, intensify perimeter scans and see if you can get through to Dinobot." he ordered. "I want the Predacons spotted, post haste!"
"At once!" said Rhinox.
Optimus then turned back to Cheetor. "Now, Cheetor, where did you see this floating mountain?" he asked.
Cheetor then found the spot on the holographic globe, "Right here!" he pointed at it. "Anything else I can do?"
"I have an idea, you keep an eye on Bluebird and see if she is on the up and up." said Optimus.
Elsewhere, the Predacons were on the move, heading for the floating mountain, Megatron stomped on the ground as he ran quickly and Tarantulas jumped from tree to tree.
"Lord Megatron, we're closing in on the Energon Deposit!" said Terrorsaur. "Though, like the rest of the Energon, it must be unstable."
Megatron replied, "Then we must be delicate with it, by any means necessary!" he stomped a little faster and left a footprint there.
Tarantulas jump down from the tree, "Hmm, this sort of Energon flow has never had that much power." he said to himself. "I better discover it's secret, then we'll see if it can power up more Gem Predacons."
"Indeed so, Tarantulas." said Megatron, hearing him talking to himself. "This will be more than enough energon for our galactic conquest, and an extra for our other soldiers on Cybertron, Yesssssss." he said, with glee.
"Then the universe will be ours….AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" he laughed evilly.
Back in the Axalon, Rhinox showed something on the grid map. "I've got three of them," he said.
"Patch it into the map-grid." ordered Optimus.
Rhinox pressed a few buttons on the console and saw the blips, "Looks like Terrorsaur, Tarantulas, and Megatron all by themselves." but then the map froze up and got static-ish. "Hmmm."
"Hey, what happened?" asked Rattrap.
It was then that Rhinox replied, "Energon interference. They must be near a large concentration of it."
Optimus then pressed another key on the console and it showed the remainder of the Predacons' path towards the Energon deposit. "A mountain of it to be more precise."
"Told ya, Rattrap." said Cheetor, as he thumped Rattrap in the back of the head.
"Alright, you don't have to rub it in, kiddo." said Rattrap.
Steven was a little bewildered about it. "Well, in any event, what's your estimation on this, Rhinox?"
Rhinox then gave his opinion of this. "You know, it is possible." he started off. "If the Energon were unstable and there WAS a large enough concentration, it COULD lift the mountain off the ground."
Optimus nodded, "My thoughts exactly." he said. "Steven, call your friend Lapis and see if she can assist me. And Rattrap, prepare for demolition and meet me at the roof-hatch in 5 minutes!"
"Got it!" said Steven.
Rattrap was a little confused, "To do what?"
Optimus then relayed, "Destroy that mountain before the Predacons try to secure it further." He then turned his head again, "Rhinox, set the defense grid on maximum and contact Dinobot, I have a plan for the Predacon ambush."
"Roger!" said Rhinox.
"It's always something." Rattrap complained.
Steven got out his phone and began calling Lapis. It rang and then at last there was an answer, "Hello?" asked a female voice over the phone.
"Hey Lapis, need your help," said Steven.
"Steven? What's going on?" asked Lapis.
"I haven't got a lot of time to explain, just get over to my place right away and bring the others with you!" he said.
Back at the floating mountain, Terrorsaur landed on the ground and met up with Megatron and Tarantulas. "Well, this is the place," he said.
"Ah yes…" said Megatron. "This would be more than enough energon to make an unstoppable Predacon Army out of everyone in our ranks." he mused.
"We'll also be able to enslave the human race as well and turn their planet into our fortress too." added Terrorsaur. "With this much Energon, they won't stand a chance!"
"Tarantulas, TERRORIZE!" The tarantula Predacon transformed into robot mode and began shorting for a few seconds, but he felt no pain at all.
Just then, the Predacon computer spoke up and said, "Danger! Energon concentration in danger levels. Stasis locks in 5 cycles."
But Tarantulas chuckled, "More than enough time." He got out what looked to be a grapple gun and fired it at the mountain, and it was successful. Tarantulas reverted back to Beast Mode and started climbing up.
"Megatron, TERRORIZE!" he roared and transformed into Robot mode and began lightly shorting out, but felt no pain. "Computer, divert energy to field dampeners, maximum tolerance!" he ordered and the computer set the dampeners he had to maximum tolerance.
"Acknowledged!" The shorting stopped and Megatron got out a zip-shooter and it rocketed him up the mountain while Terrorsaur flew back up to the inside of the mountain.
"Wait for me!" screeched Terrorsaur.
Back at the Axalon, Steven was met by a Crystal Gem who looked humanoid and had blue skin and hair. She was dressed in a backless, halter crop tank top that is blue on top and navy on the bottom resembling half a star. She also wears puffy dark-blue pants, which represent the second half of the star tied up by a bronze-gold ribbon, with matching sandals.
"Lapis!" Steven greeted as he hugged Lapis, making her smile.
"Hi Steven, it's good to see you." she said.
"It's good to see you too." said Steven, as he pointed to his new allies. "Lapis Lazulis, I'd like to introduce you to Optimus Primal, Rhinox, Cheetor, Rattrap and Dinobot, they're the Maximals."
Lapis was amazed to see them, "Whoa, it's nice to meet you all. I'm Lapis Lazulis, there are actually three of me, but the other two I consider my sisters." She introduced herself. "So, where are you guys from?" she asked.
Optimus was the first to speak up. "We came here during a dogfight we had with our enemies, the Predacons. They stole a very sacred relic from our home planet, Cybertron, the Golden Disk." he explained.
Lapis gasped, "You're Transformers?" she wondered, getting nods from all of them. "WOW!"
It was then that Dinobot spoke up, "I used to be with the Predacons, but I changed sides to the Maximals to help them win the Beast Wars." he said.
This had Lapis bewildered, "What do you mean you changed sides?" she asked.
"It's a choice," said Dinobot. "It's an intensely personal decision. Who in their right mind would live a life filled with hatred?" he asked himself.
Cheetor decides to add to it. "Also, his knowledge of the Predacon Base and what their plan is came in handy." he said. "Turns out, Megatron plans to enslave the humans and turn Earth into a new fortress for the Predacon armies."
Lapis was in horror when she heard about that, "WHAT!? HOW DARE THEY!?" she yelled. "Sorry, I tend to get infuriated when someone tries to do that."
Steven calmed her down, "There, there. It's alright."
"Yeah I know that feeling." Rattrap said, admitting to it. "Besides, I owe Chopper-Face a favor for savin' Rhinox when we first got here, which I plan to pay."
Lapis smiled sheepishly. "So, what do you need my help with?" she asked.
"Well, there's this Gem named Bluebird Azurite, and I think she is actually Eyeball Ruby and Aquamarine fused together." Steven said, making Lapis stunned. "Plus, she is part of the Predacons' plan, as is Jasper."
"What!? No way!" said Lapis, in shock. "What did she do?"
"Well, she replaced my apple juice with tomato soup, which I like, and wrote on my jacket that said I smelled good and Toilet Papered my car, even though it was neatly stacked." Steven said. "But get this, the leader of the Predacons, Megatron, heard from his soldier, Terrorsaur that there is a source of Energon in this area on this floating mountain, and they set up an ambush. I don't know who could be coming to ambush us…"
"But it won't be good." added Cheetor.
Lapis had a look at the map. "Hmm, that dot is Megatron, the red one must be Terrorsaur and who is this other one?"
"That would be Tarantulas." said Dinobot, denoting it to be true. "Tarantulas has the skill needed to segment Energon since it's too enormous for Terrorsaur or Waspinator to carry and Scorponok would be crushed by it."
Lapis thought it over and then asked, "Alright, I understand your situation….I'll help you in any way I can. Just guide me to this floating mountain and I'll help you fight."
"Thank you, Lapis," said Optimus. He then turned to a different console and lowered a wall of weaponry. "Choose your weaponry."
Lapis nodded and picked a few weapons that could be fused with her Gem Powers, which included those of water-based attacks.
"Let's rock, baby!" said Lapis, doing an impression of Dante from Devil May Cry.
"Rattrap go into Beast Mode and ride with Lapis," he ordered. "Cheetor, you, Rhinox and Dinobot help Steven find more information on Bluebird."
"Right away, Optimus!" said Rhinox.
"You've got it, big bot!" said Cheetor.
"As you wish!" said Dinobot.
Steven and Rattrap nodded, "Beast Mode." and Rattrap returned to his beast form. At first, Lapis was a little scared of a beast form like that since rats in general were rabid by nature, but not mechanical ones. She carried Rattrap in her arms and took to the sky.
"Hey don't worry, I won't drop you Rattrap." said Lapis.
"Thanks." said Rattrap, feeling reassured.
"PRIME JETS ON!" said Optimus, as he launched himself into the air and made sure Lapis kept up with him as they began their approach to the floating mountain.
For Lapis, this was exciting. Helping out a group of Transformers has always been a dream of hers, and now, she was living it. 'Boy, I wish my sisters were here with me right now.' she thought. 'They won't believe this when I tell them.'
However, back at the flagship of the Shadow Empire, Black Diamond is with his wife right now, and the two of them are going about their business.
"Tell me, my darling." said Tanzanite, feeling a little inquisitive. "What could be going on lately during that Maximal/Predacon war down there?"
"Let's have a lookity-loo for ourselves, honey." said Black Diamond.
He pressed the button and it showed what they had been doing lately. "Hmm, seems as though Megatron is heading for this….Floating Mountain?" he asked himself. "How peculiar."
Tanzanite was bewildered by this, "I've never seen anything like this before."
Just then, an image appeared onto another screen. It was a male who looked like Black Diamond and Tanzanite, but he had short hair and his gem was on his right shoulder. "Looks like you have a sight of something that was an odd occurrence."
The couple saw who it was, "Ah, Prince Obsidian."
"Hello mother, father." he greeted them.
"Hello son," said Black Diamond. "I see you've been making a lot of progress with your conquests."
"Yes, I have found some new slaves for you and they are making progress," said the prince.
Black Diamond smiled, "Well done." he congratulated him.
"As you know father, I enjoy causing destruction, I do it for you." said Prince Obsidian. "However, I have been hearing rumors lately."
This had Black Diamond puzzled. "Rumors?" he asked. "What rumors?"
"About the knowledge of Cybertronians, or Transformers on Earth." he replied.
They were bewildered by this, "Word travels fast, wouldn't you say?" asked Tanzanite.
Black Diamond nodded, "Indeed, I would." he said. "I am afraid that those rumors are not rumors at all, my son. They're true." This made Prince Obsidian baffled, "I was the one who shot down both their ships, the Axalon and the Darksyde, but neither of them knew that."
This news was astonishing to Prince Obsidian, "Whoa! Very clever of you, father." he said. "I wonder what will happen next."
"Only time will tell, my son," said Black Diamond. "I'll plan something else for them. Keep doing your thing and best of luck to you."
"Thank you, father." said the prince, as he cut his transmission short.
Back on Earth, Optimus and Lapis kept on flying through the air, Rattrap was being carried by Lapis, who made sure he would not be dropped at all. "Haw...Man, oh, man…" he complained. "If I wanted to fly, I wanted to become a BAT, not a RAT!"
"It was the fastest way, and would you stop wriggling?" asked Lapis.
They kept on flying through the air and Rattrap was still scared stiff. "Dyoh...I really, REALLY hate this!"
Optimus detects the source of the Energon, "Calm down, Rattrap. We're here!"
Rattrap looked at the floating mountain in awe of it, so much so, he whistled. "Guess I uh...owe the pussycat an apology."
"You're telling me, Rattrap." said Lapis. The lot of them all landed in an area where they found an entrance and they looked everywhere.
Just then, Optimus's body began surging out, the computer for the Maximals then said, "Danger! Energon surge, return to Beast Mode or stasis lock is imminent." and with that, Optimus reverted back to his Beast Mode, which made Lapis in awe.
"Wow, I'm surprised that you guys are the descendants of the Autobots," said Lapis. "It impressed me."
"Thank you, Lapis," said Optimus.
The lot of them all walked into the crevice and down the trail, making sure that the Predacons didn't see them. Lapis looked at the walls of this, and was stunned to hear about any Energon nested on Earth. "Wow, these crystals look like they're alive." she said.
Optimus was startled, "Cheetor was right, this mountain is bristling with Energon." he said, as he kept walking. "We'll have to use our robotic forms sparingly."
Rattrap was a little startled by this at first. "Eh, let's just blow this joint and get out of here." he said, but then he gasped and chittered angrily as he saw Terrorsaur, Megatron and Tarantulas.
"Now, to act fast," said Terrorsaur. "A small sample will do."
Megatron transforms into robot mode and then both he and Terrorsaur touch the crystal at the same time.
"Yesssssss! This is a good find!" said Megatron, but then, the crystal there is an energy surge from it. Their robot bodies shake as the power bristles over their entire bodies.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" they yelled in pain, but then it stopped.
The shaking subsided and their bodies began surging with electricity. "The Energon's been absorbed directly into our superstructures." said Terrorsaur. "I've never felt such power!"
"Yesssss! Yessssss! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" Megatron agreed, laughing maniacally.
As they react to Terrorsaur and Megatron's power surge, Optimus, Lapis and Rattrap are horrified by this. "Uh oh. This is bad." said Rattrap.
Back at Steven's House, Steven is just laying in his bed, resting, hoping to get his mind off of Bluebird, but when he wakes up and yawns. He looks at himself in the mirror and sees his face with scribble marks of Bluebird's gemstones. "Huh? Oh, Bluebird, classic prank." The Warp Pad whooshes, tires squealing. "What!? Huh? How'd the van...?" he asked, looking around. "Oh, gotcha. Welp, I guess Bluebird and Dad must be having a ball together."
It was then that Greg was screaming. "AAAH!"
Steven heard it coming from outside. "Sounds like they're watching another horror movie. I'm sure everything's just fine." he said to himself, feeling down in the dumps.
Greg screamed again, "Heeeeelp!
Steven was very nervous now. "O-Okay, Steven. Your dad is fine. Bluebird is cool." he went outside to look around where they were. "Dad?" he asked.
"Up here, son!" he said, getting his son's attention. He struggled and strained while he was tied up in a bunch of ropes.
Steven was weirded out by this. "A-Are those screams of fun?!"
Greg shouted "NO!"
It was then that Bluebird was revealed to be holding him by the rope. "An era ago, there were two Gems celebrated for taking down Homeworld's greatest traitor. But then, they were cast out, forgotten, when the traitor duped all of Homeworld into loving him instead. Now, they've come to Earth for their revenge! And forever shall he rue the names -" she unfuses revealing it to be the ones who recently joined with Megatron.
"Aquamarine!
"And Ruby!"
This left Steven unamused. "Well?! It's us!"
This made Eyeball Ruby annoyed, "It's always been us, and you never knew!"
Steven then revealed, "I always knew. Everyone knew." he said, feeling bored.
The two Gems were confused. "What?!"
"If you knew, then why were your Gems bein' so nice to us, huh?!" Ruby asked, in annoyance.
"That's 'cause they're nice! They're nice people!" Steven shot back.
But, Aquamarine was not having it, "Enough of this!" she said, as she grabbed Greg's hair.
Eyeball Ruby pulls a chisel knife out of her gem.
This left Steven horrified. "Whoa! Hey, be careful with my dad!" he warned them. "If this is another one of your pranks, you'd better cut it out!" he threatened.
"That was just us softening you up! Now, the real torture begins!" said Ruby.
Aquamarine added, "We've learned so much about your life, Steven." she stated. "Especially how much you love your precious "My-Dad". But, if you want him back, you'll have to do us a favor or two, such as... destroying your house!"
Eyeball Ruby added, "Yeah!"
"Bubble your friends!
Eyeball Ruby agreed with her. "Yeah!"
Aquamarine demanded, "And burn Little Homeworld to the ground!"
"DO IT!", ordered Eyeball Ruby.
Steven was worried about this. But he finally answered, "No!"
Aquamarine smirked, "Then "My-Dad" gets it!"
This time, Eyeball Ruby was confused, "Gets what?"
Aquamarine corrected her, "Gets hurt. Just do what we saw in that movie."
This made Eyeball Ruby realize that it was true, "Oh, yeah!" said Ruby and she laughed maliciously.
Greg was now frustrated with this, "... Aah! That's enough!" he said, as he kicked them both and swiped Eyeball Ruby's chisel knife away.
"Hey!" said Eyeball Ruby, as she felt the pain from Greg's kick.
Greg then moves his arm and cuts his hair and falls. "NO!" Steven screamed in horror before Steven then started to turn pink, just like in his fight with Jasper.
Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby were shocked to see that happening. "What!?" they said in unison.
Steven catches Greg before the fall. "Dad, are you okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine," said Greg. "Thanks to you, son."
Aquamarine was still grossed out by the fact that she was still holding Greg's hair. "Ugh! Disgusting!" she said, as she threw Greg's hair.
Greg caught his hair and began whimpering. "Oh, my baby!" He then began crying.
Aquamarine then had a fight with Eyeball Ruby. "How could you let that happen?"
"You distracted me!" Ruby shot back.
"I was directing you!" she countered.
Steven looked up to see that the two Gems who terrorized him before were now fighting each other. So, he decided to capitalize on this endeavor. "Dad, go inside." Greg goes inside. Steven turns pink. "I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS!" Steven jumps up and fights "Eyeball" and Aquamarine.
However, it was at that moment that Jasper, Scorponok and Waspinator showed up, along with a trio of new Predacons. "Gotcha!"
"Scorponok, Jasper, Waspinator!" Steven said, in frustration. "I should have known you three would show up!"
Waspinator buzzed about this. "Wazzzzzpinator ready to fight! Yezzzz!"
Steven knew he could not hold up forever, but he had to try, "And who are they with you?"
"Introduce yourselves, boys!" said Jasper.
"Flamenix, TERRORIZE!" One of them was a yellow orange Topaz Gem Predacon, it's Beast Mode was a phoenix and as it moved around, transforming, it got a bow and energy arrows.
"DarkFanger, TERRORIZE!" Another one that was purple and black began transforming and it's appearance was that of a giant snake, or a Python as it were.
"Spinotor, TERRORIZE!" The last one looked like a Spinosaurus and it began converging into robot mode and they fired their blasters, Steven managed to get out of the way.
Lapis, Optimus and Rattrap are still in hiding, looking down toward Terrorsaur and Megatron, while Tarantulas wanders around looking for something.
The three of them ducked down and began thinking of something. "Now what, fearless leader?" Rattrap asked, feeling a little afraid. "Those Preds look like they could eat tironium."
Lapis nodded, "Yeah, that is too much Energon to have." she whispered.
It was then that Optimus relayed his addition to the plan, "Look, their circuits can't hold a charge that massive for long." he started off. "I'll lead them away. You set the charges and I'll come back for you in four cycles.
Lapis nodded, "Okay, that'll work."
But Rattrap was unenthusiastic about it, "And suppose they blast you to itty bitty pieces? It's a long way down."
"Sure is." he said, in a stoic way.
And with that, Optimus rises out of cover and moves away. Rattrap frowns after him, "I hate a wise robot."
Lapis then said, "You'll get over it."
Optimus stood abruptly behind them and called out, "Optimus Primal, Maximize!" He transformed into Robot mode very quickly.
Megatron and Terrorsaur both turned around. Lapis crafter herself some battle armor and got a weapon ready. "Optimus, how nice of you to save us the trouble of hunting you down!" Terrorsaur taunted.
"Yesssss, this ends here and now, Primal!"
Optimus activated his Prime Jets, "Let's do it!" he said, taking off into the sky, prompting Terrorsaur to screech and Megatron used a new device he had Scorponok build to allow him to fly. And soon, their aerial battle began, Lapis chased after Megatron while Optimus dealt with Terrorsaur.
Meanwhile, at Steven's house, he was getting hosed by Aquamarine, Eyeball Ruby, Jasper, Scorponok, Waspinator, Flamenix, DarkFanger and Spinotor.
"We have to fuse if we're going to beat him." Aquamarine denoted. Eyeball Ruby nodded in agreement and with that, they tried to fuse and failed.
Feeling confused, Ruby asked, "What was that?!"
Aquamarine denoted, "You were uncoordinated. Try again!"
Eyeball and Aquamarine constantly tried to fuse but failed each and every time. Jasper was dumbfounded, "Uh, what the hell is going on?" she asked.
Scorponok and Waspinator looked at each other with confusion. "I didn't know that the fusions of Gems wore off."
"Wazzzzzpinator does not think it wore off," said Waspinator.
Spinotor then elucidated, "It didn't wear off, they just are not in synchronization." he said.
Steven smacked his forehead and then wagged his finger. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. You guys fused just because you hate me, didn't you?" he asked.
Eyeball Ruby and Aquamarine both turned to him and said, "Yes!"
Steven then said, "If that's the only reason, then it's no wonder you can't keep it together."
Aquamarine was puzzled. "What are you talking about?"
"There are so many other reasons to fuse, like friendship and responsibility... and love. Imagine how much better it would feel to fuse to support each other instead of tearing someone down. Your life would fill with warmth and friendship and joy, and love and -"
Eyeball Ruby could not stand it. "Wowie, wow! He is so annoying!"
Aquamarine groused in annoyance, "I hate him so much!"
"I know! Me too!" said Eyeball Ruby, they try to fuse again, and it's successful this time.
Steven Are you kidding me?
"Back at last!" said Bluebird, as she summons her sword and laughs evilly. Steven summons his shield and begins blocking her.
"En garde!" Bluebird added.
"Thanks for the warning." Steven jokes. With their swords whooshing, Bluebird fights Steven. And Flamenix tries to burn something and he fires at Steven's back. "ARGH!" he yelled in pain.
"Take that, loser!" Flamenix taunted.
Bluebird then loomed over with her blade, "Not that I needed the assist, but thank you, Flamenix."
"The pleasure is mine." Flamenix bowed to Bluebird.
Steven struggled to get up, but he was hurt a little bit, "I may be down, but I'm not out yet!"
"Be that as it may, you...will DIE!" Just as Bluebird began swinging her sword while Steven still had his shield up, someone was lurking in the shadows. However, Amethyst, Pearl and Garnet walked out, feeling confused as to what was up with Greg. "Steven, why is Greg crying in the bathroom?" asked Pearl.
"Tell him he's gotta move his dang va- AAAAAAH!" Amethyst and the others screamed.
"DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!-" Bluebird kept yelling until she was shot by a green laser blast.
"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" shouted a voice and out of nowhere came Dinobot along with Cheetor and Rhinox.
"MAXIMIZE!" Cheetor shouted, as he and Rhinox both transformed.
Rhinox fired his gatling gun and fired it at Scorponok. "Now we know what you were doing! And it seems you brought some new friends, eh Scorponok?"
"That's right, Maximal." Scorponok stated, "Meet the Gem Predacons, Flamenix, Spinotor and DarkFanger!" He presented them to him.
"Nice to beat you, Maximals!" said DarkFanger.
Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Rhinox, Cheetor and Dinobot fought back and forth against the Predacons and Evil Gems.
"Aw man," Cheetor said, feeling baffled. "I was afraid this would happen, Gem Predacons are even worse than the others."
"You said it, Cheetor." said Amethyst.
Jasper, Scorponok, Waspinator, Flamenix, DarkFanger and Spinitor continued to fire their blasters at the Maximals. Rhinox then gets shot by Spinotor. "Take that."
"RHINOX!" shouted Pearl, she charged at Spinotor and kicked him in the midsection. "Take that!"
Spinotor yelled, "BEAST MODE!" he transformed into his Spinosaurus form and began stomping at Pearl, she rolled out of the way and Spinotor turned around and stomped at her again, and he grabbed her with his jaw.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Pearl yelled in pain, but then Cheetor fired his blaster and it caused Spinotor to drop Pearl, and Cheetor brought her to Garnet and she healed her. "Thank you both." Pearl said to her friends.
"You're very welcome." Garnet said.
"Somebody should've teached you new Preds that it's rude to bite people." Cheetor ran at Spinotor.
Spinotor glared at Cheetor with rage and then shouted, "SPINOTOR, TERRORIZE!" he transformed back into his robot mode and got out a sword and then Cheetor got out one that Pearl had made specifically for him.
"So, you wanna duel, then bring it on!" Cheetor dared and so, they clashed their swords and began punching and kicking each other too.
"Kick his butt, Cheetor!" Pearl cheered.
Cheetor did just that, as his sword clashed with the new Gem Predacon and they fought like two Jedi, with the exception of their swords lighting up and making a pulsing sound. Cheetor kicked Spinotor in the head this time, sending him tumbling on the ground.
Steven continued to fight Bluebird and was aided by Dinobot, who got out his spinning Veloci-Rotor blades.
Meanwhile, the aerial battle between Optimus, Lapis, Terrorsaur and Megatron was still going on. Terrorsaur was faster than Optimus is used to, but the Primal One is still more maneuverable. This is what saves him when Terrorsaur unleashes a salvo of missiles. He banks out of their path and Terrorsaur flies over him.
Lapis loops up and uses her sword against him while Optimus extends his left forearm. He lets Loose a missile. It tracks toward Megatron, causing him to collide with a floating rock. Terrorsaur who is just beginning to turn back towards the two of them. They are HIT by the missile and smashed into them, but they recover in mid—air and soar upward again.
"Now you've made me….MAD!" Terrorsaur roared with rage. Optimus is forced to go back to evasive maneuvers, as Terrorsaur pursues, firing his plasma rifle at him while Lapis then fires a dart at Terrorsaur.
Lapis then said, "Optimus, I'll handle Terrorsaur while you take Megatron!"
"Alright!" said Optimus, agreeing to this. "Show him no mercy!"
Lapis nodded and flew after Terrorsaur.
Meanwhile, Rattrap approaches the Energon epicenter. He landed on his feet and grunted a little bit, "Oh man...with all this Energon around I'lL have to work fast." he said. "Rattrap Maximize!" he skittered and transformed into Robot mode.
Just then, the computer chimed in. "Danger...Stasis Lock, imminent." it said.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." he said, not caring about the Stasis Lock. "I'll have to do this quickly." He presses at a stud on his chest to turn off the diagnostic and sets to work with blinding speed. He pulls two box-like objects (demolition charges) off his thighs and sets them on two Energon crystals. He quickly touches a series of control pads on them which activates them. The pads begin to light up in slow color code sequence. Rattrap's circuits are really kicking up now. When the charges are in place he brushes his hands and says, "Beast Mode!" and then he reverted back to his beast form. "Now, if Optimus and Lapis can just get back in time." he walked away as the charges began ticking down to their explosion.
Optimus heads back toward the floating mountain. Terrorsaur is still hot on Lapis' trail. Plasma bursts fill the air around Optimus who is bobbing and weaving for all he's worth against Megatron. The glow of energy around both he and Terrorsaur is fading slowly.
Megatron surges forward, his eyes glowing, "You're mine now, Primal!" he fired beams of heat from his eyes. Optimus is hit and sent spinning wildly down toward the mountain, his jets smoking as Megatron and Terrorsaur follow him down, laughing insanely.
Optimus with the mountain's surface, ricochets across the surface, smashing into rocks and trees until he stops . He tries to rise as his circuits begin sparking, which is not a good sign. "Energon surge, Stasis Lock imminent." said the computer.
Optimus grunted in pain, "Have to transform or I'm finished!" he manages to get to one knee and begin to go from robot to gorilla. Optimus transforms to Beast Mode. But the action has left him very weak. As he tries to get to his feet, Terrorsaur and Megatron both land nearby. Optimus looks up at them.
Rattrap scurries away. We follow as he comes around another huge Energon crystal. Suddenly Tarantulas leaps into shot, on his back, pinning him down. "Surprise" he said sadistically.
Rattrap quickly surges forward, ramming Tarantulas head-first into the Energon crystal, knocking the spider off . "Sorry bug-bot, but I got no time to play with you." he snarled. He races up toward the rim of the crater but Tarantulas quickly rights himself and leaps again.
Landing right in front of Rattrap. Rattrap skids to a stop. Tarantulas snaps his mandibles, "I'm afraid insist." he yelled as he charged at the mouse Maximal. Rattrap snarled again and bared his teeth, ready for his adversary. And then started punching Tarantulas while at the same time he jabbed him with one of his legs.
Back at the mountain's surface, Megatron and Terrorsaur with a smug grin, raise their plasma rifles toward Optimus. "The Beast Wars are over Optimus….You DIE!" yelled Terrorsaur.
Lapis felt a rush of anger surge inside her and charged at them going mach 2 and stabbed them with her sword, damaging them and causing them to short out. "I don't think so, you scum buckets!" she yelled, as the two Predacons suddenly sways and their circuits spiral out of control.
The Predacon computer then chimed in, "Energon drain. Power down, 50%. Stasis Lock imminent."
This had Megatron and Terrorsaur stunned, "The Energon is not perfect!" yelled Megatron.
"No, not now!" yelled Terrorsaur in horror. Realizing this dilemma, Megatron and Terrorsaur begin to go back to their Beast Modes, then turn as Lapis helps Optimus up. "We'll be back for you as soon as I replenish our power!" he said, flying off and Megatron stomped up there with him.
Lapis then decided to help him the rest of the way, "I got you, Optimus." she said to him, making him smile a little bit.
"Thank you, Lapis." he said, struggling to keep himself standing. "We got to, get to Rattrap, not much time." Optimus instructed the blue gem as she lifted him with effort, then started loping up the hill.
Meanwhile on the other side of the mountain, Rattrap and Tarantulas are still in battle. They snap and bite at each other, then break off, each looking for an opening but then Rattrap tossed Tarantulas away from him.
Tarantulas then taunted in a rage, "You can't win, verminite. I am your SUPERIOR!" he yelled.
"Stick it in your command module, eight-eyes!" Rattrap insulted back at her.
Tarantulas grinds his mandibles and surges forward. Rattrap curls his tail around a glob of mud, then suddenly flings the glob over his back toward the spider. The globe smashes into Tarantulas's face, blinding him. His headlong rush continues but Rattrap sidesteps it easily and Tarantulas careens over a ledge. Tarantulas rolls down the mountain in an ungainly ball and lands, dazed, in an ungainly heap against a rock.
This site made Rattrap chitter happily. "That'll teach you to mess with the rat!"
It was then that he heard a screech coming from the sky, Terrorsaur flying high above him, heading for the mountain top. Rattrap frowns. This has him shocked, "Looks like Optimus and Lapis lost this round. And that means, I'm one damned rat!" he said in horror.
Back at Steven's House, Amethyst managed to deliver a flying elbow drop to Jasper and then a Leg drop to him as well. "I've had it with these guys!" she said, dodging Waspinator's blasts and the blade of DarkFanger. "Ladies, shall we?" asked Amethyst.
"Let's!" said Garnet and Pearl at the same time. They all joined hands and began a trinity fusion.
They fuse into Alexandrite, making Rhinox, Cheetor and Dinobot stunned. Heck, even Jasper, Scorponok, Waspinator, Spinotor, Flamenix and DarkFanger were shocked to see this.
Bluebird complained, "Oh, no." Alexandrite slaps Bluebird into the ground while also making short work of the Predacons and Jasper. They are unfuse and revert back to their original selves.
Rhinox said, "I never knew a triple fusion was possible Gems."
"Whoa, ultra wicked!" Cheetor said, in awe.
"Incredible!" said Dinobot.
Steven was feeling concerned for Eyeball Ruby and Aquamarine, even though they hated him. "Are you two okay?"
"Oh, blast it all! We've been defeated." said Aquamarine.
"Yep." said Ruby in agreement.
Before the two could get back to their feet, Dinobot then loomed over them, along with Cheetor, aiming their weapons.
"Don't even move!" Cheetor said with an ounce of anger in his voice.
Dinobot snarled, his eyes glowing green, "You so much as twitch, and it's the scrap heap for you!"
They held their hands in the air in surrender and Scorponok spoke up, "We're no match for them if they can fuse like that!" he said.
DarkFanger agreed, "Machiavelli, page 3 line 6….RETREAT!"
"Wazzzzpinator agreezzzz with DarkFanger!" said Waspinator, as they all converted back into Beast Mode, prompting Jasper to ride on Spinotor.
"Lord Megatron is not gonna like this." said Jasper, as she offered Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby a ride, they took it and hopped on.
"You may have gotten us this time, but we'll be out there." said Aquamarine. "Seeking our revenge against you and your Maximal allies!"
"The Predacons shall rule the galaxy!" shouted Eyeball Ruby, as the lot of them disappeared into the horizon.
Cheetor then helped Dinobot get Rhinox back up, "You gonna be okay, R-Dude?" asked Cheetor.
"I'll be fine, thanks to all of you." he said.
Dinobot admired Rhinox's dignity, as did the others. "Let's get him into the repair chamber."
Cheetor nodded and they walked him back into the Axalon to have him repaired.
Amethyst and the others went over to Steven and showed some concern for him. "I guess, there really are Gems out there that hate you." she said.
"Yep, but I'm not the one they hurt." Streven denoted, pointing over to his father.
Greg sits on the shore, coping with his loss, as Steven knelt down next to him. "I'm really sorry, Dad." he said, feeling down in the dumps. "I never should have given Bluebird a chance."
Greg sighs and hugs his son. "I love how you believe in everyone." he said. "You stuck to your principles, and I'm proud of you." he added in admiration. "I mean, everyone can change, but not everyone wants to."
"Yeah." said Steven, looking depressed.
Greg lets his lost hair flow into the ocean, "Goodbye, old pal. You're finally free." he said, sighing again.
Back at the floating Mountain, Terrorsaur and Megatron return to the spot where they got powered up by the Energon in an effort to do so again. Terrorsaur lands near a large crystal. He looks very weak.
"Must recharge, must…" they both said in unison.
He moves toward a crystal when suddenly, he hears a rapidly building whirrr of power. They whirl and react as they see what is on the crystals. The control pads are going through their sequence at blinding speed now as we hear the charges building to detonation.
Megatron gasped at this, "What are those?"
"Demolition charges!" said Terrorsaur in shock. "They'll tear this mountain to PIECES!" he panicked.
He quickly takes to the sky even as the charges blow and Megatron stomps out of there and roars in frustration. There is a tremendous explosion behind them as the crater erupts.
The whole mountain shakes, rousing Tarantulas from his daze. He quickly scuttles forward and LEAPS into the air. A Web line shoots out behind him, catching onto a rock. Tarantulas zips toward the ground on his web line.
On the other side of the mountain it begins to shake and crack. Rattrap hears a chain reaction building within it. "Well, at least, I'm going out with a bang." he averted his eyes from the light.
Lapis then shows up with Optimus. "The only place we're going is home, Rattrap!"
Rattrap heard and was overjoyed to hear this, "Lapis! Fearless Leader!" he cheered. "I thought you guys were done for!"
"You thought wrong, Rattrap!" said Lapis, in excitement. "But, we might all be if we don't hurry out of here!" She then found a rock and then used her powers to transform it into a hovercraft. They all get inside of it.
"Okay, how do we get this movin?" asked Rattrap.
Optimus told them, "I can't do it in robot form!" he denoted. "The Energon blast would fry my circuits permanently. Just hold on tight." he said.
Lapis then started the engine and then it began going at snail's pace, but then started picking up speed as the final explosion accelerates them at 90 miles per hour as they are catapulted outward as the rest of the mountain explodes in a spectacular display of pyrotechnics which left them in awe.
"Thank goodness we're not dead." said Rattrap.
Lapis nodded as she breathed a sigh of relief and let them be guided to Steven's house. "Agreed." she said. "And when Optimus was down, I zoomed in and stabbed Megatron and Terrorsaur."
Rattrap was in awe at that, "WHOA! You shish-ke-bobed them at the same time!?" he asked in shock. "You do know that was crazy."
However, Optimus did not mind it. "Eh, sometimes crazy works," he said. "And by the way, you did good up there."
Rattrap nodded to that, "You weren't so bad yourself, big ape." he said, "But uh...Don't tell anybody I said so."
The Maximal Leader then turned to Lapis. "And Lapis, you did very well against Terrorsaur and Megatron."
"Thank you, Optimus." she said. "I'd like to do that again sometime."
"I'm sure you will, Lapis," said Optimus.
Back at the Predacon base, Megatron, Terrorsaur and Tarantulas returned and so did Scorponok, Jasper, Waspinator, Aquamarine, Eyeball Ruby, DarkFanger, Spinotor and Flamenix they were all reeling from this awful defeat and not only that, but also Megatron got to know the new Gem Predacons.
"Lord Megatron, we kneel before you." the three Gem Predacons said, as they knelt down before him.
Megatron nodded his head, "Excellent, declare yourselves to me at once!" he ordered.
"I am Flamenix, I swear my loyalty to you and you alone!" said Flamenix, speaking to him.
Next was the Spinosaurus Predacon, "I am Spinotor, I live to obey you, my lord!" he said, humbly.
"And I am DarkFanger, and the next time we encounter thosssssse Maximals, I want to bust them up!" said the Python Predacon, as he hissed.
Megatron smiled, "Well said, all of you. I welcome you to the Predacon forces!"
"We thank you, sire!" said Flamenix, as DarkFanger and Spinotor nodded. "All hail Lord Megatron!"
"ALL HAIL LORD MEGATRON!" The Predacons all said in unison, along with Eyeball Ruby, Aquamarine and Jasper.
Megatron felt honored by all the praise he was getting, but he still felt angry at the defeat he suffered at the hands of the Maximals.
"Something wrong, my lord?" asked Jasper.
He looked at Jasper, "I can't believe that those Maximals and that Blue Gem managed to pull a fast one on all three of us." he said.
This had Jasper dumbfounded. "A Blue Gem!?" she wondered.
"Y-Y-Y-Y-YES!" Terrorsaur said in a panic. "Lapis Lazuli was her name, she's a flyer and handy with water-based attacks!"
"AN AQUAMANCER!" said Eyeball Ruby and Aquamarine in unison.
Jasper had a shocked look on her face.
"Wazzzpinator think she not azzz awful azzzz when Amethyzzzt, Garnet and Pearl fuzzzed into one big and I mean BIIIIIIIIIIIIIG GEM!" Waspinator said.
Megatron and Terrorsaur were a little baffled at first, but then, DarkFanger showed them what he meant and they saw Alexandrite, this made Him gasp in shock. "So that is the infamous Alexandrite, eh?" asked Terrorsaur. "I've read about it."
Scorponok nodded, "Yes, she truly is a Giantess among all the Gems!" he said, feeling frightened.
Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby felt horrified. "Yes, and not only that, but she is much stronger than both of us put together!"
"Hmmmm..." Megatron began to think it over. "Well, if they fused, then we shall find a way to make our new Gem Predacons do the same thing."
This left Tarantulas stunned, "A Gem Predacon Combiner!?" he asked in a shocked way. "That is a brilliant idea, my Lord. I'm glad you thought of it." he bowed.
Megatron mused. "Thank you. Find another two gems to select Beast Modes for the new Gem Predacons!" he ordered.
Tarantulas nodded, "As you wish, my lord!" and so he walked off and got to work on this project.
Later that night, at the Axalon, Optimus, Rattrap and Lapis went into the main hold and were greeted by Steven, Dinobot, Cheetor, Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl.
Steven smiled, "Optimus, Rattrap, Lapis, you made it back!" he said, running up to hug Lapis, which made her smile.
"You won't believe what happened!" they both said in unison.
Lapis said, "You go first."
"Nah, you can go first." Steven said back to her.
"No, mine can wait."
"Okay." Steven said, as he began to relay what happened. "Turned out, I was right about Bluebird Azurite being Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby, they threatened to kill my dad, but dad pulled and Uno Reverse and cut his own hair to escape their grasp, then as I was fighting Aquamarine and Eyeball Ruby, Scorponok and Waspinator arrived along with a trio of new nasties."
Rattrap wondered, "Who are they?"
"They said they're names were Flamenix, Spinotor and DarkFanger." Steven then showed them what their beast modes were. "A phoenix, a spinosaurus and a python."
Optimus was stunned by this, "These must be some of those Gem Predacons that Cheetor found in that Data Disk!" he said in shock.
"Oh man, oh man, if there's one thing I hate more than that spider, Tarantulas, it's snakes!" said Rattrap, as he skittered.
Pearl nodded in agreement, "I don't like them very well either."
It was then that Lapis spoke up, "So, what happened next?" she asked.
"Amethyst, Pearl and Garnet fused into what Steven called Alexandrite, a triple Gem Fusion and they squashed Bluebird like a bug!" said Cheetor. "You should've seen it! It was Ultra Gear!"
Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl all nodded at each other with flattering at what Cheetor said about them. "Aw, Cheetor." Pearl blushed at this, while Amethyst stood there with a smile.
Steven then said, "But other than that, it would seem as though Eyeball Ruby and Aquamarine have joined Megatron and want to help him take over Earth and conquer the galaxy.
Rattrap gasped at this. "So that was their plan...Those damn devils!"
"Affirmative!" Dinobot agreed.
Optimus was stunned and shocked, "Well, that's just Prime!" he said, "the Floating Mountain is destroyed, they won't be supercharged. Though I was barely able to hold Megatron down as he and Terrorsaur got the drop on me." he said.
"That was when I jumped in and ran Megatron and Terrorsaur through with my blade," said Lapis, adding to that.
Garnet smiled a little bit, "Impressive of you, Lapis."
Rattrap noticed "By the way, where's Rhinox at?"
Pearl explained, "He took a very bad hit, so we had to get him into the C.R. Chamber." she said. "He took a hit for Steven to make sure he didn't get zapped by DarkFanger."
Rattrap looked at the C.R. Chamber opened to show that Rhinox was fully repaired and he was glad that Rhinox was alright. "I'm glad you saved Steven," said Rattrap. "You are a true hero in my book, big guy."
"Thank you, Rattrap." said Rhinox, as he stepped out of the Chamber and then relayed something. "Optimus, I have an idea."
Optimus was puzzled by this, "What is it?"
"Since Tarantulas made these Gem Predacons, I think we should use his own tactics against him."
This had Rattrap a little baffled, "Wait a minute….You mean?"
The Rhino Maximal nodded, "Yes. We make Gem Maximals to aid us against them. I do have a few ideas for what Beast Form they will have, but I will need Garnet's help to do so." he said.
Garnet nodded, "I will be happy to oblige, Rhinox."
Steven smiled lightly and felt pumped about that, "Yeah! That's a wonderful idea!"
"Indeed!" said Dinobot.
Cheetor also nodded, as did Amethyst and Pearl. "Then it's settled, we shall make some Gem Maximals and show Megatron not to underestimate us. We must succeed!"
"YEAH!" everyone said in unison.

Me: Well, there you have it folks. We have three...count em' THREE new Gem Predacons in this story, Flamenix, DarkFanger and Spinotor!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: This is not only a big advantage for Megatron and the Predacons, but it's gonna be more trouble for Steven, The Gems and the Maximals. Fortunately thanks to Steven, the Maximals are gonna have more allies and not just from those in stasis pods, but also some of Steven's other gem friends will be around to help as well.
Me: Exactly, my friend.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: You wanna tell them what's going to happen in the next chapter?
Me: Sure, Rhinox detects a Stasis Pod heading for Siberia in an unpopulated area, Optimus gets ready to take off, but is ambushed by the Predacons he is taken down, along with Amethyst and Garnet, leaving it to Steven to call out Lapis, Peridot and Bismuth to join him, Pearl, Cheetor, Rhinox and Rattrap as they race to the Stasis Pod. But we also have the arrival of another Maximal, who is a favorite of mine and I hope he's one of yours too. It's...drum roll please! *Drum Roll* TIGATRON!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: So make sure you tune in for chapter 7, it's gonna be off the hook with Tigatron joining Steven, the gems and the Maximals in their battle against the Predacons.
Me: But also, I have to finish up a few stories of mine that are long overdue.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: I just hope that it'll make Thanksgiving worth the while for me, because I'm furious with what's happened last week in the world of wrestling.
Me: What happened?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Well dude, I've read that my favorite wrestler John Morrison was released from WWE last Thursday, after he just returned to the company two years ago, and now he's already gone from WWE again… This seriously feels like 2011 all over again for me… WTF?
Me: Damnable! The treachery of it all! But, I hear that WWE may finally close it's doors and that Triple H may start his own company.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: That wouldn't surprise me, the way the WWE is heading and with Vince McMahon is very poor health. Believe it or not, Vince is actually very close to having a heart attack and that could kill him.
Me: WHOA! Unbelievable.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Yeah! Many people thought that Vince McMahon was always in good shape, well that's all BS and the WWE had been covering it up the past few years. Vince's time on this earth will soon be over, and I know it's wrong for me to say this in a way, but the sooner Vince McMahon is gone, the better off the WWE is gonna be.
Me: Wow, and I thought Hulk Hogan was the only one with health problems. Or even when I found out AEW announcer Jim Ross had cancer.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Well it was read that Jim Ross is undergoing back surgery, hopefully JR will make a full recovery. I would hate to see him die off so soon, since Jim Ross is probably the greatest commentator in all of wrestling. Plus, JR has been eating more fruits and vegetables to stay healthy. The more he continues to stay in good health, the better off JR will be.
Me: Phew, thank goodness. Also, Tony Kahn want's the released WWE members to join AEW. I would love that too, and it seems Sting and Darby Allin have a new rivalry with Billy Gunn.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Yeah I already know that, and I was pissed off with what that dick Billy and his sons did to Sting and Darby Allin. They really need to get help from Paul Wight, because I believe that he's not done with his former friend.
Me: Well, hopefully, Sting and Darby will have backup from Paul. Though, I was also hoping it would be Glacier, Mark Henry or somebody else.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: All we can do is hope, my friend!
Me: Anyway, other than that, any ideas for what the sequel to Midnight in the Yokai World should be?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Not really! Right now I just wanna focus on the current story that we're doing, we don't wanna have too much on our backs when we've got the holidays just around the corner, and I really need to get my shopping done soon.
Me: Ah yes. Me too.
