Hey guys, I know I know I suck not updating as promised. I've just had so much going on, but I thought I'd update today before I go away for the weekend to Blackpool.

So I've had hate with the last couple of chapters by one particular reader, but that is okay because it doesn't stop me from wanting to continue with this story for all my other LOYAL fans and readers.

I would like to thank all my reviewers and readers. I love you al so very much.

The next morning I woke and showered then headed to school. I parked up and got our grabbing my school bag and swinging it on my shoulder. I spot the girls and Luke by our usual spot at the stairs and then I scan the crowd for Julian. I spot him and headed his way.

"Yo dude Brooke is coming this way" I hear one of his friends tell him.

He turned around and smiled at me "hey Brooke"

I hold out his car keys "your car is over there" I nod to the parking spot "now I need you to understand something Julian. We are not friends and yes I probably gave the wrong impression with all the advice and help I've given you, but it dawned on me last night that I don't want it. I don't want you coming by my house late at night. I don't want you pulling me into classrooms because you don't want to tell your friends what's going on with you okay. So from here on out you are on your own. I'm done with it completely. I'm done with you" I then turn around and head over to the group without letting him reply.

"Hey pretty Girl" Lucas says kissing the side of my temple then taking my hand in his "what was that about?" he nodded towards Julian.

"I actually need to talk to you about it later" I reply "fancy coming to mine tonight?"

He nodded "you need a ride" I nod "okay cool"

The bell rang after that and we all headed into the building.

It was lunch now and I called a cheer practice just to make sure we were ready for the competition that was coming up. The girls listened to my steps and they were amazing. I stood in front and counted again as I joined in so we knew the whole routine and made sure everyone was in time with each other.

"okay girls that was awesome" I praised them "okay let's go one more time" the girls nodded and we did the routine again and I was so happy that we were going to kick the bears asses "okay well done girls. You can go shower and enjoy the rest of Lunch"

"Brooke" I take a swig from my water bottle "Brooke" I see Julian running over to me "I need to talk to you"

I let out a sigh and grab my cheer bag swinging it on my shoulder "I told you not to talk to me anymore Julian" I go to walk pass him.

"I know, but I need one last favour" he says "please"

I stop to face him "no Julian. You are on your own. I told you I'm done"

"My parents are coming to town and they want to meet for dinner" he says "They want you to come too"

I looked back at him not believing he was actually going to ask me to lie to his parents for him.

"No" I shake my head "I'm not going to help you lie to your parents Julian. You have to tell them that we aren't together anymore. You have to tell them everything"

He looked back at me and I could see the plead in his eyes, but I chose to ignore it "if I tell them everything they'll call your parents and then you'll have to deal with it too"

I laughed bitterly. Was he actually trying to blackmail me? I laughed harder and he just looked at me "you are not going to blackmail me into lying about our relationship that you ended might I add. Tell your parents Julian and I'll deal with my parents. Yeah they'll be upset, but I'm not pregnant and I'm not the one that ruined everything that would be you. You made your bed Julian you deserve to lie in it" I then slowly walk backwards before turning around and walking across the gym to the double doors.

"Hey Brooke wait up" I turn around to see Rachel heading towards me.

"Oh hey Rach" I haven't really seen the girls lately. I've just been in my own little bubble "what's up?"

"Oh nothing I just wanted to see if you wanted to hang with the girls and I this weekend. The game after party is at Peyton's house this time, but the girls and I were thinking of just having a girlie evening the Saturday"

"Sure" I nod "we haven't done that in a while"

"Speaking of which what's going on with you and Julian? Things seem to be weird lately"

"Oh that's just me being the stupid idiot I was at the start of the summer" I mentally roll my eyes at myself. Rachel looked at me and I knew what the look was for "it's not like that Rach" I tell her "I wouldn't do that to Lucas"

"Good" she nods "he is a good guy Brooke. Don't ruin it because of Julian"

"I wouldn't" I made clear.

"Brooke" I hear my name being called. I turned around and saw Lucas waving me over a smile instantly formed on my lips.

"I have to go, but I'll see you tomorrow" she nodded and I headed over to Lucas.

We get to my house. Both book bags got hung up by the door along with our jackets. Lucas slipped his shoes off and walked into the living area. I joined him. We decided to just watch Netflix and order food, but before we continued with our evening I had to talk to him about everything that's happened lately.

"Luke"

"Hmm" he replies as he searched for something for us to watch on Netflix.

"We need to talk about Julian and the last couple of days"

"Okay" He puts the remote down and faces me

"I've been really stupid and not a good girlfriend lately and for that I'm sorry. I just... I don't know why I was being nice to Julian after everything he has done, but I've finally come to my senses and I've told him to leave me alone"

"I won't lie and say I didn't feel some sort of way when I saw you and him come out of that classroom, but I trust you. I don't think you'd ever cheat on me, but seeing you both together wasn't a good feeling" he admits and I nod feeling even worse than I did this morning.

"I would never cheat on you Lucas. I wouldn't do that" I make clear "and I'm sorry for being such a bad girlfriend"

"I love you Brooke"

"I love you too Luke so much" he nods leaning in to kiss me softly on the lips.

"Should be order food now and pick a film?"

I nod "I'll pick the movie and you order the food"

And in that moment I knew I found my one and only.
