Me: Yo, yo, yo! What up everybody? It's WOLFWATCHER12 and The Amazing Ghost Musician here for yet another chapter of our Steven Universe/Beast Wars: Transformers crossover! Today, this chapter is inspired by one of my favorite episodes of Beast Wars, "The Spark", am I right, dude?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: That's right, broski! Also this episode will be taking place after the Steven Universe Future "Bismuth Casual". I say that since Steven, Connie, Bismuth and Pearl will all be taking part in this episode when a stasis pod crash lands.
Me: Exactly! Black Diamond shoots down a stasis pod and it hurdled toward Earth inside Predacon territory. Rhinox sees it and races over to there. Cheetor spots it too and informs Tigatron about it and he corners Scorponok, neutralizing him and then Tigatron gets neutralized by Blackarachnia.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: And if that's not bad enough, DarkFanger and Spinitor will be along with Blackarachnia, as the three of them are sent to retrieve the stasis pod so that the Maximal Protoform is reprogrammed as a Predacon. Luckily for both Rhinox and Cheetor, they have help from Steven, Connie, Bismuth and Pearl as I've already mentioned.
Me: But there's a much bigger problem, the Stasis Pod has been damaged, the hit from Black Diamond combined with the crash shorted out the circuits and burned out the locking chip.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Now it's a race against time as Rhinox must save the Maximal Protoform before its spark is extinguished. And with the Predacons heading to retrieve the protoform, Cheetor, Steven and the others must stop them in order for Rhinox to save the Maximal.
Me: Too true, and also this is the debut of a female Maximal we all know and love….AIRAZOR!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Ah yes, the best female Maximal flier they could ever ask for. But for now, let's not spoil the rest of the story for our readers, Wolf.
Me: Right! I think we should let them read for themselves, but also, I want to dedicate this chapter to the memory of a man by the name of Kazuki Takahashi, the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Reasonable, I can understand that! But we've already talked about him before. I haven't watched Yu-Gi-Oh in a long time, and I'm not a fan of that series as I used to be before.
Me: Oh, right. So, which actor or famous person should we dedicate this to?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: I can't really think of anyone, also we don't always have to dedicate all our stories or chapters from this one to famous people who've passed on. I know that 2022 has been a very rough year, but we can't just constantly grieve about the people we've lost.
Me: Alright. Anyhow, we should also tell them about an event coming up, namely, your birthday.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Yeah I would normally enjoy my birthday, especially since I'm going to be 28 years old this year. Unfortunately, there's a lot going on with my life that I'm a little depressed about. My best friend John is engaged and I wanna congratulate him, but I haven't seen him since my birthday last year. Also, my dad and I are moving out of our current apartment due to all the crazy things that's going on in the town we're living in.
Me: Damn, that is a lot of trouble. Those crazy people should get what's coming to them!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Yeah! But if that's not bad enough, All Out is the day before my birthday and I would usually be excited for AEW All Out, except this year they really messed things up by having what was supposed to be the main event for All Out actually took place on AEW Dynamite last night. CM Punk lost the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley, that wasn't supposed to take place until All Out, and now this year's All Out is not going to turn out like it was before.
Me: Blast it all! Well, don't despair. What they should do is have the NWA Heavyweight Title be defended at All Out, it would be an interpromotional match.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Yeah! I doubt that's going to happen though. I don't know what the hell is going on with AEW, they've been having bad booking since before Double or Nothing and it's causing their ratings to fall through.
Me: Damnation! But, enough idle chitter-chatter-goss-tatter-jibber-talk, let's get to the nitty gritty!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: No kidding! Now I'm fearing that All Elite Wrestling is going to turn out like WCW did near the end, unless Tony Khan is willing to make some serious changes. But I really don't wanna get anymore upset then I am right now.
Me: Neither do I!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Anyway, it's time for us to start chapter 15 of Steven Universe: War of the Beasts!
Me: Righto, we hope you will enjoy it!

Chapter 15: The Spark Of The Gem!
We find ourselves in the depths of outer space, where we see a Stasis Pod orbiting the Earth and we also see the flagship of the Shadow Diamond Empire monitoring this. Just then, a light flashed as a sound blared.
"Sir, you better have a look at this." said a soldier.
Black Diamond approached, "What is it?" he asked.
The soldier then directed his attention to the screen, "It seems one of the Maximal Stasis Pods is orbiting around the Earth and it's going slowly near one of our satellites." he informed him as Black Diamond saw it.
"We got ourselves a bogey, arm our weapons and fire at it!" Black Diamond ordered.
"Yes sir!" replied the soldier, as he pressed a few buttons and it fired the laser at the Stasis Pod, causing damage to it and it began going out of orbit and was heading for the Earth.

Meanwhile down in Beach City, Steven, Connie, Bismuth and Pearl were all leaving the Starlight Roller Rink after Steven and Connie won the skate competition by fusing into Stevonnie. After they won, they picked the next song for Bismuth and Pearl. Which was just a jingle from a radio commercial.
"That was fun guys." Steven said, as they went back to his car.
"It sure was," said Bismuth.
"Thank you for picking that jingle from the commercial for me and Bismuth, Steven. You too, Connie." Pearl said, as she hugged them both.
"No problem." Connie said. "And, I'm curious, what made you decide to want to skate with me?" she asked Steven.
Steven then replied, "Well I haven't had a lot of human friends, till I met you Connie." he stated to her. "Bismuth helped give me the confidence to partner up with you."
Connie looked at Bismuth and said, "Really? Wow." as she and Bismuth did a high five.
"I felt he needed motivation," said Bismuth.
"Well, it was the right call." Pearl said, congratulating her.
Connie and Steven both agreed with that sentiment.
As the four of them made it back to Steven's car, they saw something burning in the sky.
"Hey guys, do you see that?" asked Connie, as she pointed up to it.
They all looked up and saw it, Steven got a good look at it and was stunned, "Well, it's not a meteorite, that's for sure." he said, before letting out a gasp. "Wait a minute, that's a Stasis Pod!"
"A Stasis Pod?!" Pearl asked in shock.
"Lemme see!" said Bismuth, as she looked at it.
It was true, the very Stasis Pod that was blasted by Black Diamond was hurtling towards the geiser area.
Connie wrote down its trajectory. "We'd better get to where it's gonna land!"
"Right! Let's roll out!" Steven said, as they all got into the car, Steven started the engine and they zoomed off.
Meanwhile, at the Predacon Base, Tarantulas was monitoring the scanners. He then noticed a blip-bleep and then a bop and he looked.
"Identify!" Tarantulas said.
|Object is a Maximal Stasis Pod.| said the female computer.
"Calculating landing coordinates." Tarantulas chuckled softly.
To which, the computer replies, |Acknowledged|
"Lord Megatron, I've found something I believe you should see!" said Tarantulas.
Megatron on a floater hovers in to observe this, "You found something, yesssss?" he asked, as he went over to him.
"Indeed, a Maximal Stasis Pod, my lord!" Tarantulas said, allowing him to have a look.
|Location of Maximal Stasis Pod…Erratic| hearing that news left Megatron concerned. |Impossible to compute exact landing coordinates|
"Best estimation?" Megatron asked the computer.
The computer blipped a little bit and it showed the location, |Grid Scavos| said the computer.
"Inside our territory, excellent!" This made Megatron pleased to the brim. "Closest units?"
The computer identified the closest Predacons. |Scorponok, Blackarachnia, DarkFanger and Spinitor| it said.
"I'll assist with the recovery." stated the Tarantula Predacon. "There might be some Maximals or Crystal Gems," Tarantulas pointed out. "My programming skills…"
"You're needed here!" Megatron said, preventing him from finishing the sentence. "But, you do have a valid point, and if there are some Maximals and or Crystal Gems in the area, I'm sure Blackarachnia will do fine, as well as Spinotor, DarkFanger and Scorponok." he added to that statement. "Send them, and put Bluebird, Terrorsaur, Waspinator and Flamenix on alert if the Maximals and Crystal Gems arrive in the drop zone!" he ordered.
"Yes my lord!" Tarantulas said, agreeing to it reluctantly.
Elsewhere, we find ourselves at a geiser area near the volcanic island and above it we see Rhinox observing this valley.
"Mmmmmm…Plenty of Energon, but none of it stable enough to use." he said to himself. "No wonder the Preds don't mind the heat in this area. Might as well…" he stopped and gasped as he looked up to see something burning in the sky and getting ready to hit the ground. "Rhinox, Maximize!" he said, as he transformed into robot mode.
He looked higher into the sky and with his camera lens to zoom in on it. "A Stasis Pod!" he said, as he began attempting to contact the others, "Rhinox to base!" he said, but in the end all he got was static. "Slag! Too much Energon interference." he cursed. "Looks like I'm on my own." Then he jumped down from the perch and began running towards the area.
Rhinox however wasn't the only one who saw the pod. We now see Cheetor perched on a tree branch and he saw this too.
"Hopping Helix, a stasis pod!" he said, feeling alarmed. He then pressed his shoulder and said, "Cheetor to comm scout 1! Come in comm 1!" he called out.
And now we see Tigatron on the ground, prowling through the bushes when he got the call. "Tigatron here!"
"I spotted a Stasis Pod!" Cheetor reported to Tigatron. "It's coming down in Grid Vega!"
Tigratron growled with concern, "Predacon ground."
Over the comms, Cheetor said, "I'm gonna get to it before the Preds do!" as he went on. "Inform base, then head to my position. I may need backup."
"It's done! Watch yourself, little cat!" Tigatron urged in concern for his brother in arms.
"Always do, big cat! Cheetor out!" said Cheetor, as he raced off at top speed, jumping off the branch and running across the field. Little realizing that a hawk was seen on the very tippity-tip top of the tree, it cawed and then flew away.
But now we see, Scorponok, DarkFanger, Spinotor and Blackarachnia on a rocky cliff and they all got a good look at the Stasis Pod burning up in the atmosphere. "There it is, right ahead!" said DarkFanger.
"Excellent work, DarkFanger." said Blackarachnia. "You're very spot-on."
"Comes with the job description." DarkFanger remarked comically.
Scorponok then added, "We must get that pod back to Lord Megatron."
"Aye!" said Spinotor. "Let's search the area to ambush the Maximals and Crystal Gems, should they appear!"
"Good thinking!" Blackarachnia laughed, as they all split up to cover more ground to set up an ambush.
Steven, Connie and the others were still in the car, speeding over to the spot where the Pod was heading, Steven stepped on the gas and shifted it into 1st gear.
"Gun it, Steven! We better hope those blasted Predacons don't get there before we do!" said Bismuth, as she was concerned about running into the enemy.
"Don't worry, if we do run into them, we'll be ready!" said Steven, as they darted for the area.
"It's coming down!" said Connie, as she saw it getting ready to crash.
*CRASHABANG!* The pod crashed into a ditch with rocks all around it and some were obstructing the hatch. There was something emanating from it.
Pearl spotted it, "I see smoke!"
"Smoke?" asked Steven, and then he saw it. "There's where it is!"
They stopped the car and bolted into the ditch. "Oh man, this looks bad."
They then heard footsteps approaching, prompting them to turn around and stand ready to face what it was and it was revealed to be Rhinox, who had just arrived. "Uh oh." he said, looking at how serious it was, then he saw Steven and the others. "Steven, Pearl, Bismuth, Connie, there you are!"
"Rhinox!" Steven cheered, greeting him. "Didn't expect to see you here."
"The feeling's mutual, Steven." said Rhinox, as they saw the electrical surge around the pod as they were all over it. "I'm glad you guys showed up!
"Oh man, it's surging with Energon build up?" said Pearl.
"That's not good," said Steven.
Just then, the same thing happened to Rhinox and Sentinel replied, |Warning, Energon concentration in the danger zone!| as this happened.
"Divert power from weapons array to field dampeners. Maximum tolerance!" Rhinox said, as he managed to stall the Energon build-up and it stopped on his body. Then, he and Bismuth began lifting the boulder that was on it together and they threw it to the other side of the ditch.
Next, Rhinox began to open the pod up and they all saw what a Protoform Cybertronian looked like, right now it was liquid metal and there was a blue light that looked like it was a fainting heartbeat. This was known as a Spark, the heart and soul of all Transformers.
"So, this is what a Protoform looks like," said Bismuth.
"Indeed," said Rhinox, as he confirmed it.
Pearl then pressed a button on the side console and it opened up a panel that had some controls on it. And she allowed Rhinox to type a few things in and did his best to get it up and running.
"Activate protoform, begin DNA scanning sequence." Rhinox requested.
But the request was denied. |System damage is too extensive. Activation program offline, spark fading.| replied the computer. |Repair required or Protoform will cease to exist in 8.6 cycles.|
The lot of them all gasped in fright at this. "No!" they all said.
Rhinox got out his cutting torch and opened up a sealed panel on it and he got out his tools and found the cause of it, it was a burned out Locking Chip of some kind. "This is bad!" said Steven. "The Locking Chip was burned and now the Protoform needs a repair for their pod so we can bring it online."
"You're right Steven." said Connie, showing concern for the Protoform.
They then began hearing the sound of something approaching them, they all turned around to face what was coming.
And out of nowhere comes Cheetor. "Rhinox? Steven? Pearl? Bismuth? Connie?" he asked, panting as he landed.
"Cheetor, what are you doing here?" Steven sighed in relief.
He jumped down and said, "Well, I saw the Pod heading for Crashville, but I didn't expect to find you guys here."
"We're glad that you did, we need help!" Pearl said to him.
"Yeah, this Protoform is dying," said Bismuth.
Cheetor showed concern, "Dying? What do you mean?"
"This stasis pod has been damaged!" Rhinox explained. "It's disabled the activation sequence and burned out the locking chip. If we don't do something quick, the Protoform's Spark will be extinguished."
Feeling determined to help his comrade, Cheetor agreed to help. "Then, let's get it in gear." he said. "What do we do?"
"I wish I knew." said Rhinox, as he looked on as the barely functional Protoform was surging with energy.
Elsewhere, we see Tigatron on the prowl in the woods, he jumped over a fallen log and then he stopped at the near end of the clearing.
"Predacon!" Tigatron growled and then he said, "Tigatron, Maximize!" as he switched to Robot Mode.
Tigatron quietly moves towards a large tree, as he spots Scorponok coming down the rocks and he is mumbling to himself. "Now…Where's that damn sour spider gone?" he said.
And as he was walking away, Tigatron stepped out from behind a boulder. "Scorponok!" he called out.
The scorpion Predacon turned around in shock, "Huh? What are you doing here, Tigatron?"
"I could ask you the same thing." Tigatron said, as he wanted to know while pointing his gun. "Where are you headed in such a hurry?"
"I'm not telling you a damn thing, Maximal." Scorponok said, countering him. "Scorponok…TERRORI–" he was cut off when Tigatron fired his blaster at him, completely freezing the Predacon.
"Sorry, I don't have time to play with you." Tigatron taunted him.
Little did he know, Blackarachnia, DarkFanger and Spinitor were right behind him and converted to Robot mode.
"What a pity!" Blackarachnia said, as she aimed her gun at him.
Tigatron turned around, fired his gun, but Blackarachnia dodged it, only to get him by her cyber venom dart and it caused a dark energy to surge through his body and made him fall.
Blackarachnia giggled at that, "So much for him." she said. "You can't fight my cyber-venom, Maximal."
"That takes care of him," Spinitor added.
"We'll be back for you, cat!" DarkFanger hissed, "After we get your precious pod and the new Predacon within."
The three Predacons walked away as Tigatron went offline for the moment.
Meanwhile, in the ditch where the Stasis Pod crashed, Steven, Rhinox, Cheetor, Pearl, Bismuth and Connie all looked to see if they could repair it.
"Rhinox, you've studied Protoforms before, right?" asked Pearl.
"Yes, I have." replied Rhinox, as he told her.
"Is there any way to repair the inside of it without exposure to the Energon?" asked Bismuth.
Rhinox then said, "There is one way, but it could be dangerous." he told them. "If you soak up too much Energon without a Locking Chip, you fry every system you have."
Cheetor then said, "Our new bud bot there deserves some kind of chance." as he was worried. "You know a lot more about Protoforms better than I do." Cheetor then jumped "Cheetor, Maximize" he transformed into Robot mode and then he sat down on a rock that stood at attention.
Rhinox got out a tool he used to grab the burnt out Locking Chip. "This will only take a nanoclick, but you'll have to go offline."
"I can use the snooze." said Cheetor, as he activated something. "Repair Mode." he said, as he shut down, his eyes turning dark. This made Steven and the others stunned to see that happening.
"This is what happens when Transformers go into Repair Mode?" asked Bismuth.
"Looks that way." said Steven, answering the question.
As the four of them continued to look on at this, inside Cheetor's subconscious, he looked around and saw nothing but dark, lots and lots of dark.
"What's new pussycat?" Rhinox appeared, out of nowhere.
Cheetor looked up at him, "Rhinox, what's going on?" and so Rhinox showed him what was happening and a light shined and Cheetor saw it. "A Spark!"
"Yep, the very thing which makes us what we are." Rhinox said. "Every Cybertronian, Autobot, Decepticon, Maximal and Predacon alike has one." he let it free. "And each is different." It was then that another light zoomed by as Rhinox spread his hands and the spark floated away. "When a Spark goes online, there is great joy." and then light starts to fade and then it explodes. "When one's extinguished, the universe weeps." he lowered his head.
After experiencing that, Cheetor is brought back online, as he reactivated, "Whoa, whoa, that was ultra gear!"
"Tell us later, and go back to Beast Mode." Rhinox instructed.
"Beast mode!" Cheetor said, as he switched back to his beast form.
Steven, Connie, Pearl and Bismuth looked on and saw Rhinox insert the fresh Locking Chip into the pod, and then used an electrical torch to make sure it stays in place.
|Stasis lock restored, Implementing now.| said the computer.
"Phew, thank goodness." Steven said.
"Way to go, Rhinox!" Connie added.
"All I did was buy us some time." Rhinox said to them. "Even with my dampers on max, this place is giving me chip flashes.
"That's a bad thing, right?" asked Bismuth.
"Majorly bad, Bismuth." said Pearl. "What do we do now, Rhinox?"
Rhinox then replied, "Try and get the activation program online, and hope the DNA sequencers can find a living creature in this area."
"Why don't we just take it back to base and use the restoration chamber?" Cheetor asked, out of curiosity.
Rhinox looks at the protoform "There's not enough time, stasis lock will only slow down the Spark's deterioration." he told them, "We have to get this Protoform online and into Beast Mode as soon as we can, or it's finished." this news scared Cheetor.
Just then, Steven got a blip on his phone. He looked at it and saw the Predacon symbol appear on the radar.
"Uh oh!" Steven said in shock.
"What is it, Steven?" Pearl asked.
"I hate to bring more bad news, but we've got a number of Predacons heading towards our location." Steven ereplied.
Pearl looked ahead and saw who it was, "Oh crud, it's Blackarachnia, DarkFanger and Spinitor!" she said.
"Ugh, as if things weren't bad enough!" groaned Connie.
Steven then told him, "We're gonna have to hold them off for you."
"Alright!" said Rhinox. "Good luck, everyone!" He gave them thumbs up.
Just ahead, we see Blackarachnia land on her legs and Spinitor and DarkFanger were doing what they could to catch up to her.
"What a lovely spot for the birth of our new Predacon." Blackarachnia chuckled, as they finally caught up to her.
"Yes, indeed so, Blackarachnia." Spinitor agreed.
"Correctamundo, mon amie." DarkFanger said, without using an 'S' in his words.
"Don't even think about that, Preds!" Steven shouted, as he fired a blast from his palm. "We're not about to let you steal the Pod like you did before!" he declared.
The three Predacons turned around to see Steven, Connie, Pearl, Bismuth and Cheetor standing abruptly on the plateau. Cheetor then looked at Blackarachnia and said, "By the way, how do you dance with all those skinny legs?" he remarked.
"Oh damn it!" Spinitor said, as he feared this.
"Stay away from the pod, if you know what's good for ya!" said Connie, as she warned them.
Blackarachnia wasn't intimidated "You dare to mock me!?" she asked, angrily. "I'll make you pay for that!" she shot her web at them all, but they ducked out of the way.
"Look out!" Bismuth shouted, as they dodged the web and the web itself landed between two rocky pillars, and latched into place.
"You're gonna have to be faster than that to bag us, right?" Cheetor said to his allies, as he taunted the Predacons.
Steven fired another blast from his pal as Bismuth tackled Spinitor football style. "Okay, Spinitor, I'll fight ya!" she dared.
Spinitor transformed into Robot Mode and began engaging Bismuth in hand-to-hand combat while Pearl and Cheetor fought against DarkFanger and Steven and Connie faced off with Blackarachnia.
"Challenge accepted!" Spinitor said, as he locked horns with Bismuth.
Blackarachnia fended off Steven and Connie, but she stood little chance of beating them as Connie tripped her to make her fall on her back.
"You two really think that you can defeat me?" Blackarachnia taunted. "How very droll!"
Steven wasn't going to be intimidated by her, "I disagree with you on that one." he said to the Predacon. "Connie?"
"Right behind ya!" said Connie, as they put their hands together and fused into Stevonnie, shocking Blackarachnia.
"What the slaggin' hell?" Blackarachnia said, in awe.
Stevonnie then said, "You surprised, Blackarachnia?" as she began punching her. "In this form, we can bash you up real good!" she said, as she kicked her, but the Predacon kicked back, only for her to get spun around 10 times and tossed to the side. Causing a stir in her circuits, but she saw how she loomed over. But then, some boulders began falling down and she was buried underneath them.
"Never underestimate the abilities of a fusion, whether it's Crystal Gems or even humans" Stevonnie said, as she wiped her hands.
However, Blackarachnia got back up and shouted, "Nobody does that to me, and gets away with it!" she flipped into the air and began firing her blasters from her spider-legs. She screamed as she did so.
Stevonnie rolled out of the way and then fired back at her. "Dagnabit, she's back up!"
The blasts began hitting the rocks above the ditch where Rhinox was at. "Sounds like Steven and the others have their hands full." said Rhinox, as he felt the blasts from down there and kept working. "But, I can't stop now." he kept typing something into it, but the computer blipped.
|Program not accepted. Spark will terminate in 4.8 cycles| said the onboard computer.
Rhinox groaned and slammed his fists on the console. "Slag!"
Meanwhile, on Black Diamond's ship we see Tanzanite watching this from her and her husband's bedroom and she was enjoying the fight thus far.
"Hmmm, most impressive of Blackarachnia, jumping back into the fray." she said to herself.
Black Diamond rejoined her, "I agree with you, my darling." he said to her, as they watched it happen. "Stevonnie seems to be formidable against Blackarachnia."
Tanzanite then said, "Tell me, do you plan on making her one of your concubines?"
"Most certainly, my love!" stated Black Diamond, as the two of them kissed. "As for Blackarachnia, we could give her a humanoid form to use whenever she wants to." he added.
"That would be something else for her." she said to her husband, as they cuddled. "I approve."
"Thank you, my dear." said Black Diamond, as he and his wife continued to watch the battle.
Back on Earth, Bismuth kept fighting back against Spinitor and she was not letting up. "You can't hold my assault forever, Bismuth!" he said to her, and they materialized their weapons and clashed with them. "Do you wish to yield or have you run through?"
"I shall speak with my sword, sir!" said Bismuth, faking a British accent and moving her sword like a fencer.
"Clever, but that won't be enough to take me!" Spinitor taunted.
"We'll see about that!" said Pearl, as she darted over to Bismuth, and then she zapped Spinitor with her blast.
Cheetor on the other hand was fighting off DarkFanger and dodging his venom based attacks, he then fired his blaster at the Predacon. "You're making this hard on yourself, don'cha think?" Cheetor remarked to him.
"No, I do not!" DarkFanger huffed, as he whipped his tail at Cheetor. "You will pay for your use of inequivalent dialogue!" he shook his fist at him in anger.
Cheetor was appalled by that statement and fired his blaster like a maniac. "YOU PUNK!" he shouted, as he fired at DarkFanger. It was then that Cheetor grabbed DarkFanger by the arm and then headbutted him while he also kick-threw him and DarkFanger countered with whipping his tail weapon at Cheetor, only to get uppercut attacked by the Cheetah Maximal.
"OOOF!" said DarkFanger, as he winced in pain.
"Take that!" said Cheetor, as he chopped DarkFanger in the side of the neck.
At the time, Stevonnie continued to fight Blackarachnia, using their shield to block her machine gun attack. Next, they used their sword to knock off her blaster and her spider legs, making her grunt in pain. "Ugh. Slaggit!" she cursed in her own way.
Stevonnie then taunted her, "Not so tough without your gun, aren't you?"
Blackarachnia wasn't going to be intimidated, "You haven't seen nothing yet, you ignorant dunderheads!" She then engaged Stevonnie in hand-to-hand combat. As they fought, they landed a few punches here and there, and then Blackarachnia decided to play dirty and used her fighting skills to knock Stevonnie's weapons down and she tripped the fusion Crystal Gem.
It was then that Stevonnie kicked Blackarachnia in the gut and delivered the Canadian Destroyer to her and landed her flat on her head and then she taunted, "Canadian Destroyer, compliments of Petey Williams." she said to her.
The spider Predacon snarled and delivered a low blow to Stevonnie, "Take that, Crystal Gem scum!" she insulted, as she delivered an uppercut to Stevonnie's face. Along with a flying heel kick to the chest, followed by a headbutt to the face, knocking Stevonnie down to their knees. And to finish it off, Blackarachnia knees them right in the face, taking Stevonnie down to their back.
Blackarachnia then rolled over to her gun and reloaded it with the Cyber Venom dart, "Goodbye Crystal Gem!" she said, cackling evilly.
Just as she was about to fire, Stevonnie makes a desperate move and kicks the gun out her hand. They counter with a spinning heel kick to Blackarachnia's face, dazzling the black widow Predacon in a painful way, then They grab the cyber venom dart and hit her with it, causing energy to surge all over her body.
"Damn, that spider can hit!" Stevonnie moaned in pain.
Meanwhile, Bismuth and Pearl kept on fighting against Spinitor, he began firing his lasers at them, while they blocked with their shields as Bismuth also used her fists to block them. Pearl then went for a slashing move and began to slash his tail-weapon and then Bismuth did a MMA throw to Spinitor and they did a double team move on him which knocked him out.
"That'll teach you not to mess with us and get away with it!" said Bismuth.
Pearl added to that, "Yeah, you're down for the count, Spinitor!"
Cheetor was impressed by Bismuth and Pearl's teamwork and they all regrouped together, "Wow, great work guys!" said Cheetor. But then, they turned around to see something heading in the position.
"What's that sound?" Bismuth asked.
"I recognize it anywhere." Pearl replied.
The three of them turned around and saw two familiar Predacons heading over their position in the air. "Oh no, Waspinator and Flamenix!" Cheetor said, in a panic. "And they're heading straight towards Rhinox!" he rolled over to better position, grabbed his gun and then began firing it at the two of them, causing them to doge out of the way.
"Who dares attack Wazzzpinator and Flamenix?" he demanded, in a rage. "Wazzzpinator, TERRORIZZZZZZZE!" he buzzed, as he transformed into robot mode.
"Hey bug-boy, you looking for us?" Bismuth said, as she fired at them.
"Oh shoot, the Maximals and Crystal Gems beat us here!" Flamenix complained.
Cheetor fired his gun again, and Stevonnie then fired a combined blast at them, which they dodged. "Take that, you Preds!" he shouted at them.
"Watch it, punk! Or we'll bash ya up so bad, no one will recognize ya!" Flamenix said, in a fit of anger. "Flamenix… TERRORIZE!" he transformed and began firing back at them.
Pearl said to the others, "Alright guys, we've got their attention! Now we have to lead them away from…" but she was cut off.
Suddenly, they heard a squawking, meaning that Waspinator and Flamenix were not alone. In comes Terrorsaur and Bluebird Azurite.
"Terrorsaur… TERRORIZE!" He transformed, then he and Bluebird began their attack next.
Stevonnie said, "OH GIVE US A BIG FREAKIN' BREAK!"
The four Predacon Flyers had surrounded the Crystal Gems and Maximal, but they would not let up. However, as they kept fighting, Cheetor felt the Energon surge over his person. |Energon surge, locking chip offline. System overload imminent.| said Sentinel, as it warned them.
"Not good!" said Pearl.
"Cheetor, you gotta transform!" Bismuth said, feeling worried about her companion. "We've got you covered!"
"Thanks, Bismuth!" he groaned a little bit. "Time for me to fly, Beast Mode!" he yelled, transforming back into his animal form.
Stevonnie fired a blast from her palm and it hit Bluebird, but she tried to deflect it with her umbrella, but to little bit of avail.
"Cheetor, you're gonna have to make it back to Rhinox." Pearl urged him.
"I figured that much out!" said Cheetor, as he began making a beeline for Rhinox and the Stasis Pod, as Stevonnie, Pearl and Bismuth distracted the four Predacons.
Rhinox heard the battle over the top of the ditch, he opened up part of his shoulder and inserted some kind of wire into it as he was steadfastly focused on saving the Protoform. He typed in a few more things into the console and he began running the sequence.
"Download sequencer program through my central processor." Rhinox ordered the computer for the pod.
|Warning, Process could cause damage to your circuitry.| it warned him.
But, the rhino Maximal knew the risks and went with it anyway. "Just do it!" Rhinox ordered.
The computer screens come alive with cybertronic symbols. Suddenly Rhinox starts to tremble, his circuits spark uncontrollably and it sends him flying into the rocky wall, and he lands on his feet only to fall face front onto the ground.
The computer said, |Circuit Damage! Field Dampeners down! Energon Surge, Stasis Lock, Imminent!| as it informed Rhinox of his condition.
"Beast… Mode…" Rhinox said in a weakened state, as he reverted back to Beast Mode and then he began to rest.
Just then, the computer of the pod began to blip and then the computer said, |DNA Sequencers online.| as it activated an antenna and the spark was pulsing slowly until the Protoform began turning into liquid metal. |Scanning for compatible life forms!| it added, as the red light on the antenna blinked.
Meanwhile, Stevonnie, Pearl and Bismuth kept on fighting back against the Predacon flyers and it was a back and forth battle, and Stevonnie fired at Flamenix.
Bluebird noticed Cheetor running away from the battle, Terrorsaur then signaled for them to try a different tactic.
"Let's split up and zap them!" whispered Terrorsaur.
"The sooner we take them down, the sooner that stasis pod will be ours." Bluebird replied.
"Right!" said Flamenix, as he and Waspinator agreed.
Stevonnie, Pearl and Bismuth noticed that they were breaking off from their formation and Waspinator began chasing Cheetor while they held off Flamenix and Bluebird.
"We can't let them reach Rhinox and the Pod!" said Stevonnie, as they panicked.
They fired their blasts at the Predacons, which were blocked or dodged by them and they fired back at them.
It didn't stop them though, and Cheetor did some quick thinking, as he dodged Waspinators blasts, "Can't…Keep this…Up!" he panted, as he ran.
Bismuth and Pearl decide to blast Waspinator and Flamenix, causing them both to collide and get hit by some sort of Energon geiser, shooting them up farther into the air and causing them to crash down hard.
"HAHA! GOTCHA! That oughta put some 'SHOCK' to your systems!" Bismuth jokes at the fallen Predacons' expense.
"Good one, nice smack talk." Pearl said, as she high-fived Bismuth.
Terrorsaur then shot a remark of his own, "How about less talk, and one BIG smack!?" He fired his weapon at the two of them.
*KABLATTO!*
They were sent flying across the ground and they were K. , making Stevonnie gasp in horror. "Pearl, Bismuth!" they shouted, feeling the anger rising in them. They charged at Terrorsaur and he used his shoulder cannons to blast them into the ditch and defuse back into Steven and Connie.
"Hahahaha, so much for 'Maximal Presence' and 'Sight of Crystal Gems'." Terrorsaur taunted, as he cackled. "Now the Pod will be MINE!" he added.
Bluebird chases after Cheetor and then he pounces the Fusion Crystal Gem, grabs her umbrella with his teeth, tosses it away and then stands on his two hind legs and tossed her away. "Sorry Bluebird Azurite, but that was payback for what you did to Steven's Dad!" he ranted.
*BANG*
Cheetor got hit by Terrorsaur, due to him hearing that and was sent into a rocky pillar, and left unconscious.
"That's covered." Terrorsaur said to himself as he walked off.
Back in the ditch, Steven and Connie both wake up and find that they had crashed near the Stasis Pod and an unconscious Rhinox. Connie was out cold, but Steven managed to get back to his feet and was lumping from the damage he took.
The computer of the Pod said, |No compatible life forms in range.| as it warned them. |Spark will terminate in 2.3 cycles!|
"No!" Steven said, feeling numb with horror.
Rhinox slowly woke up after being unconscious for a little bit, "Steven, is that you?"
The boy turned to him. "Yeah, it's me, Rhinox." he said, but then saw Terrorsaur landing near them.
Terrorsaur walked over to them, pulled out his pistol and observed, "Well well, Rhinox, Steven Universe, a friend of his AND a Stasis Pod." he said. "This is definitely MY lucky day." he chuckled, as he pointed his gun. "And your last!"
Steven got back to his feet slowly. "I wouldn't bet on THAT tidbit, Terrorsaur!" he said.
He looked up to see that Steven had now made something new with the use of his remaining power, he made an armor suit that went perfectly with his sword and shield.
"You just won't quit. Will ya?" Terrorsaur demanded.
Steven attempts to stand ready, but Terrorsaur shoots his gun, while Steven blocks it a little bit, while falling to his one good knee.
"Hahahahahaha, the pod is MINE!" Terrorsaur laughed. "Once I have your new comrade reprogrammed into a Predacon, I will end you once and for all, Steven Universe."
However, a sound was heard "SCREEEEEEEEEE!" They all looked up to see a falcon flying by, searching for prey. "SCREEEEEEEEEE!" it screeched again.
The Protoform's Spark began to glow and beat a little faster, as the computer of the pod began crunching numbers and the scanner activated and showed a golden energy wall that formed around the scanning mechanism. It then scanned the falcon and the Spark began pulsing even more.
Terrorsaur was shocked and frightened by this. "WHAT? NO!" he shouted in horror.
Steven gasped at this and saw a light coming from the pod, "YES! IT WORKED!" he shouts, as the flight from the pod shoots itself skyward with a female screech breaking the sound barrier.
Rhinox is overjoyed as he slowly gets back to his feet. "Still feeling lucky, Terrorsaur?" He taunted the Predacon.
The Falcon grabs Terrorsaur by the shoulders and smashes him into a pillar, as he gets back to his feet. He shook his head to stave off the pain and then he was now enraged.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" he roared with anger as he gave chase to the falcon that grabbed him. His shoulder cannons activated again and he blasted at the bird, but it dodged his attacks.
The Predacon flew a little harder to catch up to the falcon, but apparently, the falcon was much faster than he could ever hope to be. He kept firing at it, but he then hit a rock formation, causing it to crumble and it hit the falcon, "Hehehehehehehe." he chuckled.
But that didn't stop the falcon, as it only lost a few feathers and then as Terrorsaur fired his weapons again, but this time the falcon began doing a dive bomb move and got out of the way of his blasts, but Terrorsaur could not see it.
But then, the falcon came back and said "Airazor…MAXIMIZE!" as it transformed into a female Maximal with black, dark brown and golden armor while her eyes were green. The new Maximal, now called Airazor, charged at Terrorsaur with full speed and began firing darts at him, a few hit him, but only a little bit.
They then grappled with each other and began spinning in the air during their brawl, Steven watched on in astonishment to find out that the new Maximal was a lady. "Wow, look at her go! Knock Terrorsaur's block off!" he cheered.
And Airazor did just that, but after their scuffle they began drifting towards the ground and they broke away from each other. Terrorsaur opened fire on her and she dodged his every attack. She then fired an arrow at him, and it impacted on his chestplate. *BANG!* it went as Terrorsaur turned around, she hit him from behind too.
She then did a rapid fire attack, and it caused Terrorsaur to get obliterated to pieces and left for scrap. After that, Airazor landed near Rhinox and Steven and they were quite in awe at the sight of her.
"You're Rhinox, and you're Steven Universe." she said, recognizing them.
Steven was bewildered, "How did you know?"
"I'm not sure, but I feel I owe you both my life." Airazor said to them.
Rhinox smiled, and so did Steven. "Let's say we're even." said Rhinox, as she smiled at them.
At the Maximal Base, the others all recuperated and Rhinox and Steven gave them all the rundown of the events that day.
"You were a little late this time, Optimus." Rhinox said, as he was now repaired. "We thought we were done for."
"Yeah but fortunately, Airazor took care of business." Steven said, as he added. "Looks like the Predacons are going to be salvaging Terrorsaur for days."
Optimus saw the newcomer in the area. "Welcome to the Maximals, Airazor." he greeted.
"My pleasure, though I'm not sure what to make of this." Airazor said, feeling awestruck.
"I understand that it's a lot to take in, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it here." Garnet said to her.
Amethyst then remarked, "And if you're smart, you'll make tracks!" getting a glare from Rattrap.
"Yeah pay no attention to Amethyst," Rattrap scoffed, "She has no control of herself whatsoever, she's a wild child that doesn't take orders from no one."
"Says the rodent who was born with a major glitch." Amethyst countered.
"Slag off!" Rattrap replied, ignoring Amethyst's remark.
Then, Pearl put her hand on Airazor. "Don't let Rattrap and Amethyst worry you, Airazor." She reassured her.
"Yeah those two have been at one-another since we've got here." Cheetor added.
"You'll get used to everything, including them. Maybe." Optimus said to her. "Now, how about a tour of the base?"
"Lead the way, Optimus." Airazor said, as she followed him around the Axalon.
Steven smiled at this, "It's nice that we have a new Maximal. Don't you agree, Cheetor?" he asked.
Cheetor replied, "You betcha." as they looked on.
Rhinox then quoted what he said to Cheetor. "When a Spark goes online, there is great joy."

The Amazing Ghost Musician: Indeed, I wonder what other adventures The Maximals and the Crystal Gems will get into now that they've got another flier to the team. Especially with what Airazor did to Terrorsaur, I never get tired of seeing that awesome battle scene.
Me: Me neither. Oh, and I wonder what Black Diamond's reaction will be to seeing Airazor arrive and how he tends to deal with this revelation.

The Amazing Ghost Musician: And during the next chapter, it seems that Tigatron finds the flying island to be a land of peace. Which it's really not!
Me: Exactly, it's a weapon in disguise and Megatron hatches a plan to use this to his advantage to end the Beast Wars in one fell swoop. But, his plan might just backfire due to some shady activity from one of his own minions, who is it? It's up to you to find out, readers.
