A/N: The fluff begins. (Lord I need it)
Disclaimer: I don't own Chuck
Chuck sat on the edge of his bed, thinking about the night before. The kiss in the car, what Sarah had said. He had walked her to her room, and the smile she gave him as she went inside said that she hated leaving him as much as he hated leaving her.
He heard footsteps on the stairs. "You decent down there?" he heard her ask.
"Would it matter?"
"Nope," she chirped, coming down, grinning. "I need a favor." He narrowed his eyes at her, making her grin grow. "I need to go Christmas shopping and was wondering if you'd go with me."
"Is this the Christmas shopping that you're not going to buy me anything?"
"I will buy you something if I damn well please." Chuck laughed at that. "Please, Chuck?" There was no pouting, just an honest to goodness request.
"When have I said no to you?"
"Uh, Friday," Sarah reminded him.
"Oh, that was boss Chuck to employee Sarah," Chuck pointed out. "This is me to my Sarah."
"Nice," she said softly. "So, basically you just told me my boyfriend can't tell me no?"
"Huh, I guess I did just tell my girlfriend that I can't tell her no," Chuck replied. "Well, wonder how that will work out?"
"I wonder indeed," Sarah said, staring back up the stairs. "Chop, chop, I have things to do." Chuck just mocked groaned as Sarah laughed, continuing up the stairs.

"You're going to get us kicked out of the store," Sarah whispered at him, trying to hold back the laughter.
"Tell me this doesn't smell exactly like a cookie," Chuck insisted, again, pushing the candle towards her. She shook her head, giggling, pushing his arm away. "Sarah, I just want to taste it."
"You cannot lick the candle, Chuck!" she admonished.
"Ahem," the store employee clearing her throat got their attention.
"He wasn't going to lick it," Sarah assured the employee.
"Are you sure?" Chuck asked, earning a glare from the employee. "Do you have this in body lotion? Wait, don't tell me, because if you do, I might try and eat someone's leg with it on them."
"Let's go you goof," she said, pulling him out of the store. She saw the employee burst out laughing as they left, and Sarah didn't know when she had had so much fun.

Chuck and Sarah finished their shopping, arriving home that evening and finding the three parents waiting for them. "We need to go back and clear out the storage unit next weekend," Emma told the two. "I hope you two don't mind being alone?"
Sarah snorted as Mary and Stephen chuckled. "I think there is something you three should know," Chuck began. All three adults turned to him. "Sarah and I are dating…exclusively."
"About damn time," Mary muttered.
"Well," Sarah said, taking his hand. "And if we decide to have a sleep over?"
"Oh, hell no, not with my parents in the house, or your mom," Chuck told her. The three parents laughed out loud.
}o{
"How the hell did we end up on light duty?" Sarah asked the next day.
"They apparently picked the best person in the house and the most immature," Chuck told her. She glared at him. "You're the best."
"Chuck, you do not cut yourself down," she told him.
"What are you gonna do if I do?" Chuck asked. Sarah raised an eyebrow.

"Mary, Stephen, you might want to come see the lights!" Sarah called out from the front door. A second later, Mary, Stephen, and Emma all came outside.
"Uh, Sarah?" Mary began.
"Oh, do you like the Chuck Christmas Tree?" Sarah asked. Chuck just stood there, wrapped in Christmas lights. "He kept taking shots at himself and I told him to do it just one more time and see what happens."
"Son, when they say do it just one more time, they don't mean it," Stephen told Chuck.
"Thanks, Dad," Chuck said sarcastically.
"Wonderful job, dear," Mary told Sarah. "Why don't we go make some hot chocolate?" The four went inside.
"Hey, did you forget about me?" Chuck yelled. "Hey!"
The door opened and Sarah strolled out, walked up to Chuck, leaned up her tiptoes and kissed him lightly on the lips. "What have we learned?"
"That you might have a weird tying people up thing fetish?" She frowned and gave him a level look. "That if I'm gonna act like a dumbass you're gonna treat me like a dumbass?"
"That's right," Sarah told him. "I care about you Chuck, and when you say bad things like that about yourself, it hurts me."
"May I point out, YOU HAVE ME TIED UP!"
"Have you learned your lesson?" Sarah asked.
"Probably not, but I'll try and do better?" Chuck offered. She tilted her head, grinning at him. "Sarah, for the love of God, what are the neighbors gonna think."
"I won't be living here long," she said with a shrug. Chuck nodded. "And maybe you shouldn't either," she suggested.
"What are you saying?" Chuck asked.
"I don't know," she replied in a sing-song voice. "If I let you out, will you watch a movie with me?"
"I mean, yeah, but my parents and your mom are in the living room."
"We can use the basement," Sarah reminded him. Chuck grinned.

There was a knock on the basement door, then they heard it slowly open. "Everyone decent?" he heard his mom yell.
"Jesus Christ, what do you think we're down here doing?!" Chuck yelled back, making Sarah laugh.
"I don't know," Mary replied, coming down the steps. "That's why I called out." Chuck hung his head, as Sarah laughed harder. "That's why I came down here to talk to you."
"For the love of God, Mom, I've had the birds and the bees talk," Chuck told her. "I've…I'm gonna stop before I make everyone uncomfortable."
"I think you misunderstand," Mary told him. "What I'm saying is, you're in an adult relationship and if you two want to be…adulting-"
"Got it!" Chuck cut in. Mary chuckled at that. "Mom, I think it's time for me to move out."
"Okay," Mary said, nodding. "Would you do me a favor and stay through Christmas? Both of you?"
"Absolutely," Sarah told Mary.
"I kinda don't have a choice now, do I?" Chuck asked. Mary patted his leg, chuckling as she started up the stairs. "I guess we need to find you a place to live and me a place to live."
"I guess," Sarah said, snuggling back into Chuck as he started the movie back. "But that's something to think about tomorrow."

He awoke with a start and looked around. The TV had turned itself off and he realized he had fallen asleep. It had been so comfortable, him and Sarah laying there. He was tired so he snuggled more into the warmth beside him.
"Warmer than my bed," he heard her mutter. He thought he should wake her up and get her to her own room. She snuggled closer to her and as he fell asleep he wondered what it would be like to do this every night.

The next morning found him on his side, Sarah pressed against him, his chest to her back. His hand was trapped between hers, and he found himself slowly rubbing the back of her hand. He found himself inhaling her scent, and starting to get lost in her. She quickly spun, and stared at him, eyes wide. She dove into him, kissing him like he was oxygen she needed to survive.
"Sarah," he breathed. "Not like this." She pulled away, a grin on her face.
"I usually do it unclothed," she said, tracing a finger down his chest, watching him shudder. "Okay, I'm not gonna tease, because I know what you mean."
"I'm glad you do, because I'm starting to forget," he admitted. Her hand cupped his cheek as she stared into his eyes. "Sarah?"
"I need to tell you something," she said softly.
"You can tell me anything," Chuck told her. "I really hope that it's not that you're married and have another family some where."
"That would kind of ruin things wouldn't it?"
"I mean, it would make things really difficult if I'm honest," Chuck said with a shrug. She gave him a peck on the lips, and then another, and then another. "Wait, you had to tell me something."
"I know, I'm just working up the courage," Sarah admitted.
"Sarah," Chuck said softly. "You don't have to tell me now, whenever you're ready."
"I love you, Chuck." For the first time since he lost Morgan, since Jill had left, his heart, which he was sure could never be repaired, which would always be cracked, missing a few tiny pieces, never completely whole, felt healed. He shook his head, trying to stop the tears from falling. "That's not a good sign," Sarah murmured.
"No, it's the most beautiful thing ever, and I felt it in my heart, Sarah. I didn't know if I ever could feel that again," Chuck told her. She pressed her lips to his, pulled away slightly, and tipped her head to rest against his.
"I know you, you're gonna feel like you have to say it, and you don't," she told him. "Only when you're 100% ready."
"Sarah-" he began, but her lips captured his again.
"Come on, we've got to go to work," she reminded him. "We gotta get my mom's house ready."
He nodded. She slid out of bed, and started up the stairs. She paused where he could see her, and she leaned against the railing. "So, boss, do I need to report you to HR for you sleeping with me."
Chuck groaned and flopped against the pillow. "Carina is gonna have a field day with this," he groaned. She laughed as she started upstairs.
A/N: I know this chapter is short, but the next is almost 5k words and it's the last chapter. After that is an epilogue. What? Fineeeeee
"What's wrong with them?" Zondra asked softly.
"We boned," Sarah replied, and then took a bite of her eggs. Carina nearly spit out her drink and Zondra nearly choked on her eggs.
*shrugs* See you soon, hug your loved ones.
