Heeeeeyyy guys, so this is it, this is the last chapter for this story, but don't worry too much a sequel could be on the arisen...

I stood outside Karen's cafe and looked in to see everyone sitting around the booth laughing and taking pictures. It was nice and I'm going to miss it. A kiss to my cheek brought me out of my daze
"I saw you standing out here. You not coming in. Everyone's waiting for you" Lucas asked.
"Yeah I was just looking in" he took my hand and we went inside.
"There you are. We've ordered you a breakfast muffin with barbecue sauce and a extra hash brown" Haley says pointing to my muffin on the table "and here is your vanilla latte with soya milk and 2 sugars"
"Thanks Hales" I reply sipping at my drink as I sat down to eat my muffin.
"So are we like carpooling to the airport or going separate?" Rachel asked.
"My Car is on its way to California as we speak so I'm down to carpool" I reply biting into my muffin. Oh damn this is good.
"I think we should carpool. So Brucas and Naley in car one because of suitcases we can't all get into one car and then Jake, me and Rachel in car 2" Peyton nods happy with herself. Owen was meeting Rachel at campus.
"So Thanksgiving you coming to Tree Hill and Christmas or New York with your dad and maybe Monica?" Lucas sat beside me sipping his tea.
"Well I haven't heard from Mom and Dad said he and Monica might move into the house in Tree Hill. She liked the town when they visited and Dad wants to retire early and settle in Tree Hill so he said. So probably Tree Hill" I answer finishing my muffin
"Sounds like they're getting serious" Lucas states. I nod not sure how to take that part.
"Want to meet here at your Mom's cafe for Thanksgiving?" I say changing the subject and hoping Lucas picks up on the fact I don't want to talk about it and I think he does when he just goes with my question.
"We could do a big family thanksgiving at Moms cafe. Have us all and our families or whatever. It would be awesome" Lucas suggested and I loved the idea.
"Good idea Luke" I nod with a smile "yo guys" everyone stopped and turned to me "Luke has this great idea that we should have Thanksgiving here at Karen's cafe so we can all be back together. Families included if they want to join of course"
"That is actually perfect" Rachel agrees "since we are all planning to come back for the holiday's. Sounds like a plan"
Everyone else agreed as well. Thankgiving in Tree Hill should be good.
It was time to head to the airport. Two taxis came and we all bundled inside with our one suitcase each and we were off. I looked out of the window all the way to the airport so sad that this was our last goodbye until we all saw each other again. Haley and Nathan were driving to Duke, but came with us just to say bye.
As we approached the airport my heart hammered against my chest. Lucas's flight was before mine. It was in about 2 hours. I was the last to fly out. We took our suitcases and headed into the airport.
"So this is goodbye for now" Haley says pulling us girls into a hug "we'll see each other soon. Just go have some fun" age says "and dont get in any trouble... Rachel" everyone laughed "I love you girls with all my heart. I'll miss you"
"We'll miss you too Hales"
"Now go before I really ruin my makeup" we waved bye to Haley and Nathan and then headed through security.
We all grabbed drinks and snacks for our flights before heading to the chairs to wait for the voice to announce our flights boarding.
"Doesn't it suck having to dorm the first year instead of staying off campus" Rachel randomly says taking a gulp of her cold bottled water.
"You're only salty because you can't stay with Owen the first year" I reply giving a small laugh.
"It's just not fair" she whined.
"Just be grateful that you get to be with him instead if still doing the long distance thing" I say seeing her head snap towards me and a look of pity in her eyes "what? Why you looking at me like that?"
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to whine now that you and Lucas have to do the long distance thing" she says "I'm sorry"
Oh right I almost forgot about that. Oh how stupid of me. I didn't even catch on when she was whining. Damn it. My mind really isn't in it today.
"Oh right that" I nod looking away from her "don't worry about it"
"Flight BA2467 to Massachusetts is boarding now. Gate 22" the voice says over the speaker.
"Oh that's us" Peyton says standing up and slinging her bag on her shoulder "right girls we aren't going to do the whole hugging thing because we did it already with Haley, but I will give you each a kiss on the cheek because I'm going to miss you so much" Peyton did exactly that and then we watched as her and Jake went towards there gate.
"I really can't believe we won't be spending the next 3 to 4 years together. This is going to be so weird" Rachel says and I nod agreeing.
Being friends since we were in pre school and going through Middle school and then high school together was great and we've made the best memories and now we are going separate ways to college to make more memories and other friends.
"But we'll always be bestfriends Rach and we'll face time all the time"
"Defiantly"
"Flight BA2498 to Los Angeles is departing now" the lady says again over the speaker
"Well that looks like it's my time to head out" Rachel says picking up her bag and slinging it on her shoulder "I'm going to miss you B"
I side hug her "I'll miss you too Red" she gave a smile.
"I'll be seeing you Luke"
"Bye Rach" Luke replied as she turned and headed towards her gate.
And then it was the two of us.
It felt more like years than hours for our flights. Lucas was first. His flight came on the board and then over the mic and my heart pounded against my chest. This was it.
"I can't do this" I cry as he pulls me into him. I bury my head into his chest soaking up his smell. You'd think we were never going to see each other again.
"Pretty girl" we pull apart "I'll call you tonight I promise. We can do this" he wipes the tears from my cheeks "please don't cry baby. I love you"
"I'm gonna miss you Luke" he nods leaning down to place a kiss to my lips "I love you too. Have a safe flight and call me every morning"
"And every night" he finishes kissing me again.
"Flight BA4768 to New York JFK is now boarding" came the voice again.
"I need to go pretty girl. I'll be seeing you shortly" he says one last time before he disappears into the crowd heading for his gate and in that moment my heart has never felt so heavy.
I sat back down in my seat and looked up at the board seeing my flight had come up. I stand to my feet sling my bag on my shoulder and grab the handle of my suitcase. This was it. I was going to college in California. Was I excited. Super. Am I going to miss Tree Hill. Defiantly. And then I head towards my gate to wait to board the plane.
So the moral of my story is that you can get over that ex you think you need. If it's toxic and you get an out, take it and never look back. I took the 10 steps to get over my ex and I found my forever.
