Just a warning starting from this 'episode' onwards, I will be doing a Who is that Pokémon using the Pokédex entries for fun. If you want to play along you sure can.

POKEMON: UNBOUND: BLACK AND WHITE

BW: 001

The blazing Unova sun shined through the windows of a young girl's room. Already up for the day, she making sure everything was ready.

"Tent, three pairs of clothes, what else?" The girl asked herself to think of what else she might need to get for her upcoming adventure.

"Hilda! Breakfast is ready!" Hilda's mom said as Hilda didn't pay one bit of attention to her.

"Ok, ok I will be there in a minute," Hilda said as she continued making her final preparations for her upcoming quest.

The quest to become the greatest Pokémon Champion, like no one ever was.

"The time is coming, soon the whole world will know the name of Hilda White, the World's greatest Pokémon Champion!" Hilda exclaimed as she grabbed her beloved hat.

"But, first, the future world's greatest Pokémon Champion needs to eat breakfast," Hilda's mom said as she walked into Hilda's room and spooked the living daylights out of her daughter.

"Eeeek," Hilda said in surprise before regaining her composure, "Um ok," she said as she went to eat.

In The Shadow of Zekrom

"Thank you, Mom!" Hilda exclaimed as she finished her breakfast.

"You're welcome, sweetie," Hilda's mother said as the excitement of the day coursed through Hilda's veins. Her mother was able to pick up the not so vague hints about her daughter's ambition.

"Is there something wrong Mom?" Hilda asked as she noticed her mother was about to cry.

"I can't believe my baby girl is about to get her first Pokémon and leave on an adventure," Hilda's mother said as tears of pride started to flow down her face, "There is one last gift I want to give you before you head out on your adventure." Hilda's mother went and grabbed a box to give to her daughter.

"Is that a?" Hilda asked seeing the logo on the box, before getting interrupted by her mother.

"Yes, it is your very own Xtransceiver," Hilda's mother said, "I already programed it with my number."

"Thank you, Mom," Hilda said as she put on the Xtransceiver and went to hug her mother, "Don't worry I will make you proud!"

"You already have," Hilda's mother said before adding, "What time were you going to meet up with your friends, its already 10:00."

"Wait 10:00?" Hilda asked looking on the newly powered-on Xtransceiver. As expected, the time on the Xtransceiver read exactly 10:03. Maybe its time to go find, Bianca and Cheren so they could get their Pokémon before that jerk Trip does.

"Well Mom, I am about to leave," Hilda said as she started to walk out the door to go to the regional's Professor, Professor Juniper's lab.

"Hilda one last thing," Hilda's mother said as Hilda boarded her bike, "Please promise me you will stay safe."

"I will!" Hilda said as she rode to Professor Juniper's lab to meet up with her friends. Though something seemed strange, the forecast didn't mention anything about a thunderstorm today. In fact, it was supposed to a cloudless day today.

From the distance, a girl with long violent hair swung on top of a tree overlooking the entire situation with her trusty Pokémon.

"Axew?" The Pokémon said in curiosity.

"Check it out. Something great is going on, let's go Axew," The girl said as Axew jumped into the girl's long hair. The girl proceeds to jump off from her branch to start traveling towards the sight of the thunderstorm.

At around the same time, Hilda made it in front of Professor Juniper's research lab. Hopping off her bike, she looked up to see a peculiar sight.

A boy was dangling on to a cage holding a weird Pokémon she had never seen before. What made the sight stranger was three people, or was it two people and a Pokémon? Were in the hot air balloon that the weird cage was coming from.

"What's that?" Hilda asked, before she took cover in the Laboratory just as a blue lightning bolt stroke the hot air balloon causing the balloon and the people in it to go to parts unknown, while the Pokémon and human were sent plummeting towards the ground much to the horror of everyone watching.

Something rather strange happened. As the boy and his Pokémon fell towards the ground, a swift force gently letting the boy and the Pokémon onto the ground.

"What was that Pikachu?" The boy said as Hilda overheard their conversation and started sneaking towards their location.

In the skies, a black electrical dragon could be seen ascending as it unleashes one of its strongest moves on the electric mouse.

"Pikapi!" Pikachu yelled as it alerted his trainer to the oncoming attack, and in a desperate attempt to deflect the oncoming attack, Pikachu fired its most powerful electric attack, Thunderbolt.

"PIKAAAAACHUUUUUU!" Pikachu exclaimed as the two electrical attacks collided with each other.

"What is going on?" Hilda asked in confusion as the boy finally took notice of the surrounds a few seconds too late. The conflicting electrical attacks bounced all over the place. Charring anything that was unfortunately in its path of destruction.

"Get out of the way!" the boy yelled as he and Pikachu were consumed by the blue lighting. This caused Hilda to get flung back towards Professor Juniper's lab, as she watched her bike become totally obliterated by the lighting. She could care less about that bike, as she was hoping for this boy and his Pokémon to be alright.

Alright is something that Ash wouldn't say as he felt himself trapped in an electoral force field.

"Where am I?" Ash wondered to himself as he found himself walking around a plain of blue electricity.

"Pikachu are you there buddy?" Ash said as he tried looking around for his best friend.

"Pikapi!" Pikachu stated as he ran and hopped onto Ash's shoulder.

"There you are. I was worried sick," Ash said as the electrical dragon appeared in front of him.

"Pika?" Pikachu said in curiosity.

"A Pokémon?" Ash asked as the electrical dragon unleashed its full power on the duo. This power flung the duo of Ash and Pikachu backwards as Pikachu became infused with the power of Zekrom. They were both knocked out cold.

Hilda cautiously approached the boy. His black jacket with a yellow stripe having been crisped by the lighting alongside his now darkened white shirt, though oddly his hat with a blue half Pokéball seemed largely unaffected by the lighting. The Pokémon on the other hand seemed a lot more hurt. It was violently shaking around due to the excess electricity that had been forcibly put inside of it.

"Is everything ok?" a young woman with a lab coat poked her head out to see what all the noise was.

"Professor Juniper, I think that boy and that Pokémon need help," Hilda worriedly said as she pointed towards the unconscious Pokémon Trainer and the Pikachu.

"Alright," Professor Juniper said as she went and got the necessary equipment needed to help.

Hilda's thoughts came back to her as soon as she heard eight magic words, "Out of my way, Out of my way." Not paying one bit of attention, Hilda was promptly ran into by quick blonde with a green purse as well as an orange vest, and a white dress. The impact of the force threw Hilda into the nearest body of water, which just so happen to be a little stream.

"Hey Bianca," Hilda said as she emerged from the stream.

"I am so sorry Hilda," Bianca said as she looked at the wet soon-to be trainer.

"It's ok," Hilda sighed.

"Bianca you should really look where your going," a boy with glasses, black hair, a white undershirt with a Y-shaped red stripe running through it, alongside a blue jacket with a white outline. He really gave off scholarly vibes, "Oh hello Hilda."

"Hello Cheren," Hilda said.

"How has everything been today?"

"Weirdest day by far," Hilda said starting to explain everything as the trio walked into the lab. However, they were unaware that they were being stalked by three strangers. After their balloon was damaged by the Pokémon, the strangers set their sights on their next course of action.

"So, this is the Unova Region," the man in black with a distinct 'R' noted.

"I suppose dat is the professor's lab," Meowth added.

"How about we nab a Pokémon from the good professor," the woman in black suggested, "We can start making a hull."

"Right," Meowth and the man stated.

Inside the lab, Ash finally got around to waking up.

"Pikachu?" Ash asked as he started searching around for Pikachu in the small laboratory. He noticed a small speck of yellow that kind of looks like Pikachu's tail. Ash started making a run for it. Though he ended up running into a boy with a dirty blonde hair, as well as a dark hoodie, with a red jacket.

"Hey, watch where you're going!" the boy grumbled as he went along his way.

"Sorry," Ash apologized. Before finally turning around and finding Pikachu.

"Pikapi," Pikachu said as he started sparking blue.

"Pikachu!" Ash said worryingly, "Now we should probably find out where we are and find some help."

"Pika Pika," Pikachu agreed feeling much better then earlier. Ash and Pikachu started navigating the hallways of the research lab.

"So, we are just waiting on one more person before we can get started," Professor Juniper stated. The three moaned because they knew who Professor Juniper was referring to.

"Do we have to wait for that jerk," Hilda moaned.

"He was one of the four people due to get a starter today," Professor Juniper stated.

"Yeah, but aren't there only three starters?" Cheren asked hoping that Professor Juniper would not be prepared much like a certain other professor of the Oak variety.

"I was able to get two sets of starter Pokémon," Professor Juniper stated.

"So, what happens to the other two Pokémon who won't get picked?" Bianca asked.

"They will be put back on rotation," Professor Juniper explained as the final person finally made it to the room.

"Are you Trip?" Professor Juniper asked.

"Yes, ma'am that is me," the dirty blond-haired boy responded, "I am sorry for being a little late, I had some trouble getting here today."

"Alright with that being said…" Professor Juniper was trying to explain before getting cut off by a wandering Murkrow haired trainer.

"Um, hello," Ash said as he interrupted the entire starter Pokémon exchange.

"Hello?" Bianca said to be nice. It was at this time Ash saw the three Pokémon on the floor.

"Are those starter Pokémon?" Ash asked.

"Well, yes," Professor Juniper stated.

"That is so awesome!" Ash said all stary eye, "Your starter Pokémon is a very important part of becoming a trainer! I bet one of y'all overslept because of your excitement for today!" Unsurpisingly everyone shook their heads no.

"Ok maybe that's just me," Ash said reading the mood of the room.

"If no one else dares to interrupt me anymore I'll show you the three starter Pokémon of the Unova Region," Professor Juniper as she unleashed the three Pokémon out of their Pokéballs.

"This first Pokémon is Snivy, the Grass Snake Pokémon," Professor Juniper stated as Snivy whipped around in an attempt to impress at least one of these four humans.

"Snivy!"

"This second Pokémon is Oshawott, the Sea Otter Pokémon," Professor Juniper explained as Oshawott did a trick with his scalchop.

"Oshawott!"

"This last Pokémon is Tepig, the Fire Pig Pokémon," Professor Juniper said as Tepig acted all cheery and preppy.

"Tepig!"

"So which one will you pic…" Professor Juniper wasn't able to finish as Trip claimed the first pick, "I pick Snivy."

"What?" Professor Juniper said all surprised.

"Snivy," Snivy said as he strides to his new trainer.

"Oh, I pick Oshawott!" Bianca said as she claimed the next Pokémon, before doing something surprising, "Cheren gets Tepig."

"Oshawott!"

"Tepig!"

"Wait Bianca, you just can't choose my starter!" Cheren protested, before looking at Tepig and the fiery determination in his eyes, "You know what its fine, I wanted Tepig to begin with."

"Tepig," Tepig said all happy inside. Ash did the mathematical calculations in his head, three Pokémon, four trainers.

"Oh," Ash said.

"What is it, umm what is your name?" Professor Juniper said asking Ash.

"Oh, sorry about that I guess I haven't had time to introduce myself. I am Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town in the Kanto Region, and this is my buddy, Pikachu!"

"Pikachu!"

"Oh, that explains a lot, he is from the boonies."

"Yes exactly… wait what do you mean by the boonies?" Ash asked.

"You're just a country bumpkin. Someone certainly not worth my time," Trip said.

"I AIN'T JUST A…" Ash exclaimed as he caught himself just in time.

"Pika!" Pikachu said starting to spark blue electricity.

"Exactly," Trip said having gotten the reaction he wanted.

"Don't mind Trip over here, he has been acting like this for a little while at this point," Hilda explained, "Now I think its just right for us to introduce ourselves, especially since you're in a strange new land. My name is Hilda White."

"I'm Cheren."

"And I am Bianca." All Trip did was grunt.

"Oh, that reminds me," Professor Juniper said, "First off my name is Professor Juniper, and second off here is a little handy tool," Professor Juniper said as she gave out four rectangles. Ash was able to recognize that on sight.

"A Pokédex!" Ash exclaimed.

"Indeed, it allows you to collect data on any Pokémon you encounter," Professor Juniper claimed.

"Really?" Trip said as he used the Pokédex to scan Snivy.

Snivy. The Grass Snake Pokémon. Using Photosynthesis to preform swift movements. Calm and intelligent, Snivy can harness the sun's power using its leaf on its tail.

Both Cheren and Bianca did the same thing to their Pokémon partners.

"Wow this is so awesome," Bianca said.

"It sure is," Cheren added. Though when Hilda attempted to scan one of her Pokémon with the Pokédex, she realized one tiny little problem. She still had no Pokémon.

"Umm Professor Juniper can I please select my first Pokémon?" Hilda asked.

"Sure," Professor Juniper said as she went and grabbed three more Pokèballs.

Who is that Pokémon?

It loves to eat roasted berries, but sometimes it gets too excited and burns them to a crisp.

As Professor Juniper started to reach for the Pokèballs holding the starter Pokémon, Cheren decided to ask Ash a question.

"How did you get here, Ash?" Cheren asked as Ash's actions (and clothes) made it clear that something happened.

"Well, if I told you, you wouldn't…" Ash said before getting interrupted. The lights turned off as the entire room got covered in smoke.

"What happened?" Hilda asked coughing up her nearly non-existent sleeve.

"Ah a question twerpish indeed!"

"Will answer them as we feel the need!"

"Bringing the blinding white light of justice into the future."

"Thrusting the hammer of justice down onto the black darkness of the universe."

"And craving our names into the rock of eternity."

"The fiery destroyer, Jessie!"

"And with thunderous emotion, I am James!"

"Wisest of the wise, Meowth!"

"Now gather under the name of Team Rocket!"

"Team Rocket?" Bianca asked.

"We told you we will answer the questions as WE feel the need," Jessie explained.

"Now if you excuse us, we're off," James said as they vanished into the smoke, with the sounds of jetpacks occurring.

"Toodles!" Meowth stated as they flew off.

By the time the smoke subsided, it became very clear that one of the Pokèballs went missing.

"I am going after them," Ash exclaimed as he started running off in the direction of the jetpack sound.

"Pikachu!"

"So am I," Trip stated as he rushed into action.

"I am going to help too," Cheren added.

"Can't let you boys have all the fun," Hilda stated as she grabbed a random Pokéball.

"Wait I am going too!" Bianca said as she rushed after the quartet.

Running out of the lab our heroes were pursing the fleeing Team Rocket.

"We have twerps coming from behind," Meowth stated.

"Fire the cubes!" Jessie ordered as James and Meowth fired off the cubes using their rocket launchers.

"Pikachu break them using Volt Tackle!" Ash ordered as Pikachu started to charge the ultimate electric attack… to no avail.

"PIKA!" Pikachu said as he was unable to use the electricity needed to use Volt Tackle.

"Snivy, Leaf Tornado!" Trip ordered as Snivy sent a barrage of leaves towards the TRio but the leaves weren't strong enough to break the electric cubes.

"Tepig, Ember!" Cheren ordered as Tepig sneezed out embers from his nozzle. Once again it wasn't strong enough to break the cubes.

"Alright let's tag team this, guys," Hilda suggest as she threw the Pokéball. This was the last thing she expected today. The random Pokémon was another Snivy.

"Right, Oshawott use Water Gun!" Bianca said as Oshawott did just that.

"Um Snivy, Leaf Tornado?" Hilda ordered to a Snivy that didn't know how to use Leaf Tornado.

"Vy?" Snivy said a bit confused.

Once it was clear that Snivy didn't know Leaf Tornado, Hilda did the next best option.

"Snivy, Tackle!" As Snivy went onto the offense, Cheren ordered Tepig to use another Ember. Pikachu started to blue spark again.

"Alright bud?" Ash asked as Pikachu gave a reassuring 'Pika'. Thinking of a way to get to the oncoming cubes, Ash decided to have Pikachu use his Quick Attack to catch up.

"Pika Chu!" Pikachu said as he burst into incredible speed, ramming headfirst into the cubes destroying them on contact. While the other attacks came flying towards the TRio.

"I think that this is a good time to preform some evasive maneuvers," James concurred.

"Agreed," Jessie said as the TRio turned so they go right into the attacks. The Trio swiftly avoided the three attacks as they headed towards Trip.

"Sorry crooks, but we're going to stop you here and now!" Trip stated as he ordered Snivy to use Vine Whip to beat up the TRio.

"Did you really think you're pathetic Snivy can really beat us?" Jessie exclaimed as they simple dodged the vines.

"What?" Trip asked.

"He really is stupid," Meowth stated.

"There he is catch of the day," James said as he went to grab Pikachu.

"Let's send them blasting off again! Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash exclaimed as Pikachu started charging up Thunderbolt. Though much like Volt Tackle before, Pikachu was unable to preform the attack.

"A depowered Pikachu is no Pikachu we want to capture; besides we already have a rare Pokémon," Jessie said as she ordered a tactical retreat.

"No!" Ash said but he was too late to stop them.

All Ash could do was stand and watch as he could do nothing to stop Team Rocket.

"PIKACHU!" Pikachu yelled in pain as blue electricity started to took hold of his body once more.

"I need to get you back to the lab," Ash stated.

It's Tepig

Back at the lab, Ash was patiently waiting for Pikachu to recover.

"So, Ash?" Hilda asked.

"What is it?" Ash responded while looking at the sleeping Pikachu.

"Who are these Team Rocket creeps?"

"They are bad guys who steal other peoples Pokémon, they have been trailing me and Pikachu ever since the beginning of our adventure," Ash chuckled thinking how far he had gone.

"How long has that been?" Hilda asked.

"I have no idea," Ash responded, "It has felt like forever, but every time they always lose. Maybe they were due one victory."

"So, for that long, eh," Hilda stated, "Are you by any chance planning on entering the Unova League?"

"There is a Unova League?!" Ash asked all giddy.

"Uh, yeah, why wouldn't there be?" Hilda asked.

"When you put it that way. I definitely know what I am doing!" Ash said all excitedly before realizing one thing, "Mom must be worried sick!"

Ash quickly ran to Professor Juniper, "Professor Juniper can I borrow your phone real quick?"

"Um sure," the Professor said as she was filing a report about the stolen starter Pokémon. Ash quickly found himself one of the videophones in the laboratory. Hilda, Cheren, and Bianca followed the young Pokémon Trainer wondering why he created all that ruckus. Ash quickly dialed in Professor Oak's number as the professor picked up.

"How can I help you today Prof… ASH?!" Professor Oak said in shock as he fully expected Professor Juniper to answer.

"Wait he knows the Professor Oak!" Cheren made note of.

"Who is Professor Oak?" Bianca asked.

"One of the most important Pokémon Professors there is!" Cheren exclaimed.

Back to the conversation between Ash and Professor Oak.

"What are you doing in Unova?" Professor Oak asked.

"I'll explain, but can you get my mom real quick?" Ash asked.

"Sure, Tracey can you get Delia, Ash is on the phone," Professor Oak said as a teenager with a red headband and green shirt waved to the camera before promptly running out of the lab.

Sometime later Tracey returned with Mrs. Ketchum in tow.

"ASH!" Delia Ketchum said as she saw her son on the video screen back in Pallet Town, "Are you alright, and where is Pikachu?"
"I feel fine, but Pikachu," Ash frowned a little, "He got a little overloaded with electricity by some strange black dragon Pokémon. He is resting right now." Hilda knew what Ash was talking about for she saw the same dragon Pokémon smit Ash and Pikachu on the spot.

"So back to how I am in Unova," Ash said, "Team Rocket kind of took me on an overseas trip. Before we were shot down by the Pokémon. There was something different about Team Rocket," Ash added, "They seemed a little bit more better at doing their job. Somehow, they kidnapped one of the starters, that Professor Juniper was going to hand out."

"Oh my," Professor Oak said.

"But with that being said, I know where I am going on my next adventure," Ash said with a grin, "Here."

"I can't let you go on another journey," Delia Ketchum said out of the blue, shocking Ash, Tracey, and Professor Oak, "Not looking like that young man." Mrs. Ketchum pointed towards the tattered remains of outfit Ash had on.

"Oh yeah, I suppose I need a change of clothes," Ash said brushing his hair smiling. Hilda found that a little charming.

"Don't worry, I have already knitted them," Delia said as she showed Ash the blue, white, and black jacket, as well as the baggy pants, black and red fingerless gloves, matching shoes, as well as the most important part. A new cap that looked like his original hat. Expect in the middle instead of the League Expo logo, there was a full generic blue Pokéball looking shape.

"Wow that looks cool!" Ash noted.

"I guess I have to ship them," Delia said before spotting the three trainers peeping into the conversation, "Mind if you introduce me to your new friends?"

"Sure," Ash noted as he looked around to see Hilda, Cheren, and Bianca. The trio walked to the video phone, "Hello," the trio stated.

"My name is Cheren nice to meet you all," Cheren said respectfully.

"I am Bianca, it is a pleasure to meet you," Bianca said a bit excited.

"The name is Hilda, Hilda White," Hilda said, "It's an honor to meet you."

"Its nice to meet you all, as well I am Delia, Ash's mom," Mrs. Ketchum said.

"As soon as Pikachu recovered, I am heading out," Ash said, "but where is the nearest town?"

"Accumula," Hilda blurted out.

"Cool," Ash said, "See you later!"

"Bye, sweetie!" Mrs. Ketchum said as the video call ceased. It was at this time that Trip walked up to Ash to see if he was ready to battle.

"I am interested in your strength," Trip said, "I want to battle against you and your Pikachu if you don't mind."

"I am sure up to it, I'll show you what a person from the 'boonies' can do," Ash said imitating Trip.

"Your on!" Trip exclaimed.

"If you're going to battle, then use the battlefield in the back," Professor Juniper stated as she finished filling in the stolen Pokémon report.

"Let's watch guys!" Hilda exclaimed out of the blue.

"Sure, this could be interesting," Cheren said.

"I'll go check on Pikachu, and see if he is ready for it," Ash said before leaving to do just that.

In the back of Professor Juniper's lab two trainers stood against each other in the field of battle. Staring down each other, they were ready to prove to each other something the other one doesn't want to believe.

"The battle between Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town versus Trip the challenger is about to begin!" Cheren announced to the two trainers.

"Wow this is so exciting!" Bianca said as she had Oshawott outside her Pokéball so he could experience the battle, and hopefully experience a trainer battle before they do it themselves.

"Oshawott!" Oshawott exclaimed as he seemed so excited.

"Come on Ash give Trip a slice of humble pie!" Hilda exclaimed hoping that Ash would put Trip in his place.

"Geez not very supportive of your childhood friend, eh," Trip said.

"The rules are simple its is going to be a 1v1 battle, whoever's Pokémon is last standing wins!" Cheren explained, "Let the battle begin!"

"Pikachu, I choose you!" Ash exclaimed as Pikachu jumped out into the battlefield.

"PIKACHU!" Pikachu exclaimed. Despite being exhausted by what Team Rocket did, he was still ready to teach this kid a thing or two, about being a Pokémon trainer.

"Snivy, Go!" Trip yelled as he threw Snivy's Pokéball.

"Snivy," Snivy said cool, calm and collected.

"Now Snivy use Tackle!" Trip said as Snivy started swiftly coming towards Pikachu.

"Pikachu dodge it," Ash ordered as Pikachu dodged the attack.

"Go in for Leaf Tornado. Now!" Trip exclaimed as Snivy quickly shot the Leaf Tornado towards Pikachu. This didn't do much to deter either Ash or Pikachu. Instead, there was a smirk on Ash's face.

"Pikachu use Quick Attack to guide the tornado!" Ash exclaimed as Pikachu started bursting out in speed, to run around the tornado.

"Guide the tornado?" Bianca verbally wondered, as the other three trainers were thinking the same question. Pikachu ran around the edge of the Leaf Tornado, because of the wind created by the Quick Attack. The leaves now followed Pikachu's Quick Attack trail.

"Snivy avoid Pikachu!" Trip ordered as he was caught by surprise on Ash's odd tactic. Unfortunately for Snivy, even with his swiftness it was nearly impossible to avoid the oncoming Pikachu. Pikachu rammed directly into Snivy causing some damage. The leaves that followed tore into Snivy to cause some more damage to the Pokémon. Meanwhile some more blue sparks came out of Pikachu.

"Wow, that tactic sure did a lot of damage to Snivy," Bianca noted. All the while, Hilda was mesmerized by the battling strategies that Ash and Pikachu were pulling off. It was like Ash was actually in the battle with Pikachu working side by side.

"This was fun, limiting ourselves," Ash said, "but I think its time to end this before someone gets hurt."

"Pika," Pikachu said in agreement.

"Wait you were going easy on ME?!" Trip exclaimed in shock.

"Not by choice," Ash said, "Pikachu is still tried, but he is pulling through. Now Pikachu use Iron Tail!"

"Pika Chu!" Pikachu said as his tail turned a distinct metal and slammed right into Snivy.

"Snivy!" Snivy yelled not allowing himself to be taken out by a mere impure rodent.

"That's the spirt Snivy, Finish this exhausted foreign with Leaf Tornado!" Trip roared.

"Pi Pikachu," Pikachu said to Ash.

"So, you're ready?"

"Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed.

"Alright Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash yelled as Pikachu readily prepared the electrical attack.

"PIKACHU!" Pikachu said as he fired his strongest Thunderbolt yet. Crisping the leaves, it splattered all around the battlefield as one beam stroke down Snivy.

"Snivy…" Snivy exclaimed as he fainted with swirly eyes. The dust cleared.

"Snivy is unable to battle, therefore the winner is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town!" Cheren exclaimed.

"Great job buddy," Ash said as he ran to hug Pikachu.

"You did good, Snivy take a rest," Trip said calmly, "I suppose we'll battle again, and that's where I will prove I am better than you, boonie."

"I look forward to it," Ash said smirking as Pikachu hopped on his shoulder.

"I didn't mean it as a compliment," Trip said coldly, "Well Snivy we got work to do. We can do this together." Trip walked away clutching Snivy's Pokéball.

The four trainers and their Pokémon, watched as Trip walked away.

"Trip," Cheren said in a quiet tone. Hilda and Bianca looked at Cheren understanding that they just want things to go back to the way it was.

"Wait a minute," Ash said breaking the somber moment.

"Hilda you still need to pick your starter!" Ash stated.

"Oh right!" Hilda said remembering that she still kind of needed to have a starter.

It was finally time for Hilda to pick her starter Pokémon, with the third Pokéball not recovered from the authorities. She only had two choices.

Bianca, Cheren, and Ash were watching to the side as Professor Juniper took out the Pokéball containing Snivy and Oshawott.

"Pick wisely, Hilda this choice will affect your entire journey," Ash said standing to the side of the young trainer as she had to pick between an Oshawott with a colorful character, and the Snivy she used earlier.

"This is easy," Hilda said as Oshawott got hyped, "I choose…"

TO BE CONUTINED…

REVIEW TIME!

A/N: After the end of 'episodes', I will answer the reviews that came from the previous chapter. Much like I do for Will of a Champion

zarc4d - I was hoping the unova trio could be ash, hilda and iris

A/N: Sorry about that bud, I am trying to tell this story somewhat close to the anime. The classic trio of Ash, girl with some sort of dream, and slightly older big brother figure. I was already shaking things up with a rotating base of temporary fourth traveling companions.

Reader - Great start

A/N: Thank you, I had this cool idea in my head, and I realized that in order to start with that. I had to start from Memories Are Made Of Bliss.

Guest - Will Ash be able to battle with Reshiram or Zekrom near the end? Also, hope Ash isn't a pushover with Trip because I feel like Ash won't tolerate Trip's attitude toward those from Kanto.

A/N: Due to first Pokémon game bias, the legendary Pokémon gets to fight near the end will be the dragon of ideals itself. I hope I didn't write Ash as a pushover against Trip too badly or anything.

Rowlets and Oshawotts - im really hoping that this gets updating somewhat consistently there are so few stories that really do Unova rewrites that are consistent I like it what you did with it its unique compared to others

A/N: I am not really one for consistency, ask Will of a Champion which got 7 chapters in one month and one chapter the next. Though if I am going to be honest I have a solution which may be beneficial for all of us, because I am still a school kid in challenging courses. Either way, I don't think anyway else would have started off Unova the way I did, in a way that showed that Team Rocket was no joke anymore. I hope you keep reading!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This year is my senior year in High School, and with that I will have not as much time to write anymore. So I am going to be writing chapters/episodes at my own pace. However the catch is that I will bulk write these chapters/episodes so I can spread their releases around much like what Netflix does for Pokémon Journeys in America.

Affected Stories:

Will of a Champion

Pokémon Unbound: Black and White
