The next morning, the girls were in the kitchen sharing holiday themed pancakes with blueberry syrup.

"This is so delicious," Gwen said. "Still can't believe you and Lillie made these".

"We know," Lillie said to the others. "I love that you two were able to stay overnight with us".

"We had a swell time with you guys," Leshawna said.

"I agree," Anne Maria commented. "New York is fun to live in, but reuniting with you girls has been a blast. Maybe we should make this a new tradition".

"Really?" Dawn asked.

"Totally," Leshawna said. "We can make holiday gifts for each other".

Lillie then said, "and you can share your thoughts on what makes Kwanzaa stand out to the two of you".

"And we can play with Lillie," Courtney added.

"And share flashbacks with each other," Zoey said.

"All while enjoying a glorious sleepover," Dakota said.

"I love it," Bridgette said. "I say let's really make it a tradition to remember."

"I'm in," Gwen said.

"Me too," Courtney commented.

The others were in a unanimous agreement.

"Then it's unanimous," Gwen said. "We're doing it!"

"Sweet!" Leshawna said. "Slide me some fingers ladies!"

The girls wiggle their fingers on each other's hands. A little while later, Leshawna and Anne Maria were putting their winter gear back on.

"This visit here turned out to be better than I originally thought it would be," Anne Maria said.

"I agree," Leshawna commented. "We could have been stuck sleeping with Heather".

"Or Jo," Anne Maria added.

The 2 of them shared a giggle. After they were ready, they left the home.

A few feet after leaving, they turned around and got one last look at the place.

"Still can't believe they were able to afford a place like that," Leshawna said.

"I know," Anne Maria said. "I still think it must have cost them a fortune".

That was when Leshawna got a call. She answered it.

We couldn't see who was on the other side, but it was Leshawna's cousin, Leshaniqua.

"Hey cousin," Leshawna said.

"Are you still on for the party?" Leshaniqua asked.

"Yeah," Leshawna said. "We're heading back to finish getting ready. The party's still a go".

"Great," Leshaniqua said.

Leshawna hung the phone up.

"Who was that?" Anne Maria asked.

"My cousin," Leshawna answered.

"Oh yeah!" Anne Maria commented. "The Kwanzaa party; we better get back to your place, so we can finish getting ready".

As they strolled down the street, Leshawna thought of something.

"You know," Leshawna said. "I was thinking that maybe it shouldn't just be our 2 families coming together for the Kwanzaa party".

"I was thinking the same thing," Anne Maria said. "Zoey, Lillie and their families deserve to join us as well".

The 2 of them were in total agreement.

The end.
