Hello. Enjoy^^ Goodbye.

I OWN NOTHING.

Kohaku walked into the stables and walked up to Tinoyo. ''Tell the mayor and Juromaru that I'll do as they say.''

''Good. Good choice, Koha-I'm sorry. Shiro,'' Tinoyo smirked.

''I'm glad you're pleased because you'll have to leave here as well,'' Kohaku reminded him.

''Yes, yes. I know you told Sesshomaru to fire me, but I'll fix that. I'll be this farm's overseer and its future owner,'' Tinoyo chuckled until Kohaku slammed him against the stable walls.

''You are repulsive,'' Kohaku hissed. ''If you know that I'm not Shiro Kon, then you know perfectly well that I am a criminal and that I don't care if I have to kill another person, understood? Now listen up. I won't let you open your mouth and let Sesshomaru find out who I am. I won't let you keep doing bad things here either, because I know that you are responsible for the attempts against Sesshomaru. Yes. I know that you are responsible for the fire at the stables. You almost killed the boss' wife. Did you hear me? I know everything. So don't forget what I am telling you. Don't forget what I'm telling you because you don't know what I am capable of.'' Kohaku threw him to the ground and walked away.

''What are you trying to do now, Tohru?'' Rin questioned her brother. ''You are not fulfilling what we agreed upon.''

''Yes, I am. I'm getting out of here,'' Tohru told her. ''Calm down.'' Tohru walked away just as Sesshomaru walked into the living room.

''Why were you arguing with your brother?'' Sesshomaru asked.

''It's not important,'' Rin said.

''It is to me,'' Sesshomaru responded. ''I don't understand you. The day Tohru arrived, you agreed with me about him not staying here. Then after you talked to him, you suddenly changed your mind. I don't understand why.''

''Because I would pity him if we threw him out,'' Rin shrugged.

''You're lying to me again,'' Sesshomaru looked at her with disappointment. ''You think I don't realize? I'm not stupid, Rin. Why is it so hard for you to be honest with me? If you decided to be honest, to tell me what's going on with you, I swear I would understand you. Why don't you trust me? I'm not an ogre. The only things I can't stand are tricks and lies.''

''My brother is leaving, Sesshomaru. Don't worry about that,'' Rin sighed.

''I want to know what's going on,'' Sesshomaru growled. ''We're supposed to be starting over, remember? It doesn't work if you keep things from me.''

''You're right. You're right. I know you're right so here it goes, Tohru fooled a woman with a fake marriage in Kamakura, to steal her money,'' Rin revealed. ''He came here to hide, because her brother found out about everything. He wants to kill him.''

''That scoundrel did it again,'' Sesshomaru snarled. ''That's why you asked me to let him stay here all this time? To protect him?''

''No, look, I know that he doesn't deserve it, but I think about my dad. Sesshomaru, he's my brother. I'm scared that they'll do something to him,'' Rin whimpered.

''The life of a coward like him is worthless,'' Sesshomaru hissed.

''Did you tell him what Tohru did?'' Sakura asked Rin when they closed her bedroom door.

''Yes, I had no choice, aunt,'' Rin answered. ''I had to tell Sesshomaru what Tohru did to Kya.''

''But why did you do that? Now your husband will hate our family even more,'' Sakura pointed out. ''How embarrassing!''

''I did it because I'm sick of lying,'' Rin responded.

''And Kohaku? Did you talk to him? Did you tell him that he can leave now?'' Sakura questioned.

''Of course I talked to him. In fact, I already said goodbye to him,'' Rin told her.

''When is he leaving?'' Sakura asked.

''He said by this time tomorrow, he wouldn't be here,'' Rin whimpered.

''I hope he keeps his word and he leaves,'' Sakura sighed and put her arm around her niece. ''It's for the best, dear. You'll see that soon you'll forgot that whim, because it's nothing but a tantrum from a stubborn girl.''

''No. You're wrong. I really loved Kohaku,'' Rin said.

''Don't give me that. The other day when we were talking, you told me that you love both of them,'' Sakura reminded her. ''That is having firm feelings?''

''Deep inside, they are like each other,'' Rin smiled. ''They are gentlemen. They are brave and passionate.''

''Stop saying those things, or I'll get angry,'' Sakura scoffed.

''Please, aunt, let me talk! I need to talk! I need you to listen to me, because I need to clarify what I have in my heart!'' Rin exclaimed. ''I need to understand. Sesshomaru is my husband and I started loving him, but Kohaku is the first man I ever loved. Don't look at me like that, aunt! The first man I ever fell in love with. With Kohaku, I learned what it is to love. When we said goodbye to each other yesterday, you should have seen his face and the pain he was feeling. He was desperate and he asked me if I had stopped loving him. I didn't dare to answer because I didn't want to make it even sadder. You don't know how much it hurts to think that I'm not going to see him, I'm not going to hear his voice, I'm not going to feel him looking at me. Kohaku loves me so much and I-''

''You what?'' Sakura questioned.

''I-I can't even be faithful to the love he feels for me. Not even with my thinking. I'm in love with Sesshomaru,'' Rin confessed.

''Sesshomaru, nice to see you again,'' Juromaru greeted Sesshomaru as he walked in the house.

''Did you do what I asked?'' Sesshomaru asked.

''It's very possible that you'll have that person in front of you tomorrow,'' Juromaru assured him.

''Sesshomaru!'' Miroku yelled as he and a few other workers forced another man into the house. ''We found this bastard trying to set the cornfield on fire. There were three other men, but they escaped.''

''Who is this man? Does he work for us?'' Sesshomaru questioned.

''He says he doesn't,'' Miroku shrugged.

Sesshomaru looked at Tinoyo. ''Do you know him?''

''No. I don't know him,'' Tinoyo denied.

''Who are you? Talk!'' Sesshomaru ordered and pointed a gun at the stranger's face.

''No, boss! Please don't kill me!'' He begged. ''Tell him not to kill me, Tinoyo!''

''You know Tinoyo?'' Sesshomaru asked him. The man nodded. ''Who ordered you to set the cornfield on fire? Tell me!''

''You tell them, Tinoyo! Help me!'' He pleaded.

''What do you have to do with this?'' Sesshomaru questioned Tinoyo.

''Nothing, Sesshomaru! Don't believe him. I don't even know him,'' Tinoyo argued.

''You're a liar, Tinoyo! You gave the order! He orders us to steal cattle, to rob on the roads, like the time you shot Honda Asano, your own nephew!''

Everyone's eyes widened and they looked at Tinoyo.

''No, no, no. Don't believe him. It's not true. He's a snake, he's a scorpion, he's a pig!'' Tinoyo exclaimed and attacked the man who accused him leading Miroku and the other workers to restrain him.

''You're disgusting!'' Sara slapped her uncle across the face and then began to claw at his chest. ''You're a murderer! You killed my brother! I hate you! I hate you!'' Sesshomaru grabbed her and held her back.

''You're a coward,'' Sesshomaru snarled. ''Not even death is enough punishment for someone like you! Something tells me that you weren't the one in charge. You don't have the balls and you're not smart enough to do it. Someone else must be behind this. Who, Tinoyo? Who do you work for?'' Tinoyo didn't answer. ''Lock them both up. Tie them in the stable, like the animal he is. I'll hand him over to the authorities of Kamakura tomorrow myself. Take him!''

Tinoyo cried ''No!'' over and over as they took him away.

''I'm the authority of Kamakura,'' Juromaru reminded Sesshomaru.

''You're on my land,'' Sesshomaru growled. ''This is my farm and I make the rules here. Do me a favor and stay out of this.''

''You are going against law and order, Mr. Takashi,'' Juromaru argued.

''If you think so, present a complaint before the municipal authorities,'' Sesshomaru told him. ''Goodnight.''

''This isn't over,'' Juromaru growled and left.

When everyone cleared out Rin stayed quiet and just wrapped her arms around Sesshomaru's waist to comfort him.

Early the next morning, Sesshomaru quietly entered Rin's room to find her still asleep. He walked over to carefully wake her.

''Rin,'' Sesshomaru moved the hair from her face.

''Sesshomaru,'' Rin sat up, worry written all over her face.

''I came to tell you I'm leaving,'' Sesshomaru said.

''You're taking Tinoyo and that other guy to Kamakura?'' Rin assumed.

''Not exactly,'' Sesshomaru sighed. ''During the night, someone shot and killed Tinoyo.''

''Who?'' Rin questioned in surprise.

''I don't know but I want to go to town myself to talk to Captain Midoriya. I'll tell him the whole story, tell him my suspicions about Juromaru Kaga,'' Sesshomaru told her.

''Why don't you talk to Kagome's husband too?'' Rin suggested. ''Being the mayor, he could help you.''

''Maybe. But I'd prefer it if the navy looked into this guy. We're talking about a corrupt cop. And this is..very delicate,'' Sesshomaru pointed out.

Rin nodded before smiling and moving closer to her husband. ''When are you coming back?''

''I'll try to be back this afternoon,'' Sesshomaru caressed her face. ''I don't want you to be alone for too long.''

''Are you scared something will happen?'' Rin asked him.

''No, don't worry. Nothing will happen,'' Sesshomaru answered. ''But I want to ask you to stay in the house at all times. Promise?''

Rin intertwined her hand with his. ''Yes. Okay.''

Sesshomaru leaned in and pressed a sweet kiss to her lips. Rin hugged him close and kissed him again.

''I'm leaving,'' Sesshomaru told her.

''Yes. I'll see you later,'' Rin responded and watch him walk out her door.

It wasn't until late that night that Sesshomaru arrived back home and found Rin asleep on the couch.

''She wanted to wait for you,'' Sayo explained to him when she walked into the living room. ''She said this was the first day you had spent apart since you got together. Do you want me to wake her?''

''No. I'll take care of her. You can go to bed Sayo,'' Sesshomaru told her.

''Sesshomaru,'' Sesshomaru heard Kohaku call for him from behind.

''Shiro,'' Sesshomaru greeted him.

''Juromaru called,'' Kohaku informed.

''What about?'' Sesshomaru asked.

''He said he wants you to meet him tomorrow at noon at Snake's Crossing,'' Kohaku answered.

''Did he say what for?'' Sesshomaru asked.

Kohaku nodded. ''Uh huh. He said it was about Kohaku Mai.''

Sesshomaru's eyes widened. ''I asked him to locate him. I guess he did.''

''But it could be a trap,'' Kohaku pointed out. ''How about I go ahead to make sure nothing happens?''

''Yes. That's a good idea,'' Sesshomaru agreed.

''Well, then. I'll see you tomorrow. Good night,'' Kohaku walked out.

''Good night,'' Sesshomaru replied.

Sesshomaru walked over to Rin and and picked her up to take her to her bed.

The next morning, in Kamakura.

''Will you have breakfast, sir?'' A maid, Eri asked Inuyasha.

''No, Eri. Thanks. I have to go to work already,'' Inuyasha answered.

Someone rang the doorbell right after. Inuyasha looked at Eri to remind her what to do and went into his office so Eri could open the door.

''Good morning,'' Kagome greeted when she was let in. ''Can you please let Inuyasha know that I want to talk to him?''

''He's not here,'' Eri lied for her boss. ''He left about five minutes ago.''

''No, that's a lie. His car is outside,'' Kagome pointed out. ''Please tell him to come see me.''

''I swear he's not here,'' Eri lied again.

''Then can I wait inside for him? I won't leave without seeing him,'' Kagome said.

''I'm not authorized to let you in,'' Eri replied.

''Then I'll wait outside,'' Kagome told her.

''As you wish,'' Eri closed the door as Inuyasha came out of the office.

''Thanks. I'll wait until Kagome leaves before I go to work,'' Inuyasha sighed.

''You should talk to her,'' Eri suggested. ''That poor woman is suffering.''

''You can go. Thanks,'' Inuyasha sighed. Inuyasha grimaced as he could hear Kagome's yelling his name from outside mixing the thunder and rain. He could hear the rain coming down harder and harder but she continued to call for him.

An hour had past and she still kept calling for him, it broke his heart every time she said 'please'. Inuyasha finally opened the door for her.

''What are you doing here? Why did you come to see me?'' Inuyasha questioned.

''I had to see you,'' Kagome sniffled.

''I think I was very clear, Kagome. I was just having fun with you. But that's over,'' Inuyasha growled.

''No,'' Kagome whimpered.

''I don't love you!'' Inuyasha exclaimed. ''Don't you get it? It was all a lie!''

''Then lie to me!'' Kagome shouted.

Inuyasha's eyes widened. ''What?''

''Lie to me again and tell me you care about me!'' Kagome cried making Inuyasha turn away so she wouldn't see him holding back his own tears. ''That you love me. That I'm the best thing that happened to you. Love me. Love me even if it's just a little bit, Inuyasha. A little bit. Even if it's a lie! But I need to feel that someone loves me. That someone wants me. Even if it's a lie. I need to be in your arms again. Love.''

''Forgive me,'' Inuyasha choked out and looked back at her. ''Forgive me, Kagome. Of course I love you. I love you more than my own life!'' Inuyasha pulled her into his arms and placed his lips on hers.

Kagome cried from happiness when they separated. ''I spent the happiest days of my life with you. And when I thought I'd lost you, I felt like dying. The way you treated me was killing me.''

''Forgive me,'' Inuyasha grimaced. ''Please, forgive me. All the days in my life won't be enough to make up for what I did, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, my love.''

''My love?'' Kagome questioned. ''I just need your kisses. To be with you. To feel you love me.''

''I love you, Kagome. I love you like I've never loved anyone before,'' Inuyasha lifted her up into his arms and carried her to his room. To his bed.

''I don't understand why you have to meet that man so far away,'' Rin sighed and helped Sesshomaru put on his rain coat.

''I won't be long and Shiro is going too. Everything will be fine,'' Sesshomaru reassured her.

''Be careful,'' Rin pleaded.

Miroku came into the house before Sesshomaru could leave. ''Sesshomaru, we're starting to rebuild the stables but I need money for the materials.''

''I'm just on my way out,'' Sesshomaru turned to his wife. ''Do you still have that key I gave you?'' Rin nodded. ''Give Miroku the money he needs, please. I'll see you later.''

''Sesshomaru,'' Rin called out. ''Be very careful, please.'' Sesshomaru nodded. Rin watched him leave for a moment before getting the key from her room and going to the office with Miroku.

''How much money do you need, Miroku?'' Rin asked.

''I have it written down. Here you go,'' Miroku handed her a piece of paper.

''Thanks,'' Rin unlocked the drawer but her eyes widened when she found the drawer was empty. ''It can't be!'' Rin ran out of the office and into the kitchen to find Sayo. ''Sayo! Someone stole from my husband's study!''

''But how? When?'' Sayo questioned.

''I don't know!'' Rin exclaimed. ''Before he left, Sesshomaru asked me to give Miroku some money he needed and when I opened the desk drawer just now, it was empty! There are only two keys for that drawer. Sesshomaru has one, and he gave me the other one. Do you think someone stole from my room?''

''Oh, ma'am. I wouldn't put it past Sara,'' Sayo suggested. ''I think it was her.''

''Yes,'' Rin agreed. ''Yes, nothing surprises me when it comes to that woman. And she could've done it just to get me in trouble with Sesshomaru.''

''What will you do? Will you tell him?'' Sayo asked.

''I have to,'' Rin whimpered.

''Oh, ma'am,'' Sayo grimaced.

Kohaku got down from his horse and walked around the wooded area, looking for anyone who wasn't supposed to be there when a gun was suddenly in his face.

''Where's Takashi?'' Juromaru questioned with anger.

''He won't be long. He'll be here soon. We said noon, right?'' Kohaku reminded him.

''What excuse did you give him?'' Juromaru asked.

''I told him you were going to turn in Kohaku Mai,'' Kohaku answered.

''Then you said nothing but the truth,'' Juromaru smirked. ''I think before killing Takashi, I'll tell him who his foreman really is. Don't try anything. I'll have my gun trained on you at all times, got it?''

''Here he comes,'' Kohaku gestured towards the horse in the distance.

''Wait until he gets closer to shoot,'' Juromaru instructed him and waited for Sesshomaru to get closer to them. ''Now. Shoot him!''

Kohaku raised his gun, pointed it at Sesshomaru and pulled the trigger.

TA-DA! Some stuff happened. Reviews people, reviews.
