*SIGH* It is time. Let's get this over with. I'm gonna make sure this doesn't carry on for many chapters. Maybe 3 if I can get away with that.

I OWN NOTHING.

''Where is Sayo?'' Sesshomaru asked when he walked into the kitchen and found Sango and Miroku.

''She went to take Miss Sakura some tea,'' Sango answered. ''Oh, by the way, congratulations on the baby, Sesshomaru. This house will be filled with so much joy!''

''Congratulations, man,'' Miroku pulled Sesshomaru in for a hug but it was not returned.

''Thanks, Miroku. I'm giving you both the day off. Go to town or something,'' Sesshomaru ordered them. ''I need to be alone with Rin.'' Sesshomaru left without another word.

''What's gotten in to him?'' Sango questioned.

''I don't know,'' Miroku shrugged. '' But it's never too late for a day off. Come. I'll treat you to a night out, my dear Sango.''

Sango giggled, removed her apron, and followed him out the door. ''If you say so.''

''I'm more and more convinced that Sayo is Sesshomaru's sister,'' Rin said. ''And before I go to him with my suspicions, I want to talk to you to know why she lied to my husband for so many years.''

''Dear, I-'' ''Oh, Father!'' Rin groaned. ''I know priests sometimes lie when the secret of confession or an oath doesn't let them tell the truth.''

''I don't want to talk about this,'' Father responded.

''Why?'' Rin asked. ''If Sayo is Sesshomaru's sister, you have to tell him. It's cruel to remain silent. And not just for him, for her too. It's not fair that she's in the ranch and treated like a maid.''

''I don't know anything, and I don't want you to insist,'' Jaken replied.

''What do you mean you don't know anything?'' Rin questioned. ''You know her, don't you?''

''I-I don't want to talk about this. Ask Sayo, not me,'' Jaken told her.

''She denies it!'' Rin exclaimed.

''Well, so do I!'' Jaken yelled. ''And do me a favor and don't bother Sesshomaru with your suspicions. Please, dear.''

Rin's eyes softened and she nodded.

Sesshomaru busted in Rin's aunt's room.

''What's wrong?'' Sakura questioned.

''Where is your cellphone?'' Sesshomaru asked her.

''In my purse,'' Sakura answered.

''Where is your purse?'' Sesshomaru asked.

Sakura handed him her purse that was sitting on the chair in her room.

Sesshomaru snatched it from her and emptied it onto the floor until he found what he was looking for. ''You knew and you didn't say anything.'' Sesshomaru turned to Sayo, ''And you helped her cover it up.''

''What are you talking about?'' Sakura questioned.

''Shiro Kon and Kohaku Mai. I know they're the same person!'' Sesshomaru threw Sakura's phone down with all his strength causing it to shatter.

''Sesshomaru, I can explain!'' Sakura tried.

''I'm not interested in what you have to say!'' Sesshomaru shouted at her before opening her door and shutting it, locking it from the outside.

''Sesshomaru! Please! What are you going to do? Please, don't hurt Rin!'' Sakura cried desperately from the other side of the door.

''I have something else I wanted to talk to you about. And I hope this time you don't refuse. Did you know my mom and Sesshomaru's uncle were lovers?'' Rin suddenly asked him.

Father Jaken sighed. ''Oh, dear. I've always known.''

''How long? How long were they lovers, Father?'' Rin questioned.

''Many years. Many,'' Jaken answered.

''Since before she got married to my dad?'' Rin asked.

''Yes,'' Jaken answered.

''Why did she marry another man if she was with Sesshomaru's uncle?'' Rin questioned.

''You'll have to ask her that,'' Jaken responded.

''What about Sesshomaru's uncle? Didn't he love her? He didn't do anything to stop her from marrying another man?'' Rin questioned.

''Well, Katsuki couldn't. Your mother didn't tell him until it was already too late,'' Jaken explained.

''How well do you know my mother?'' Rin asked him.

''Too well. Unfortunately,'' Jaken answered. ''I know who Raven is, where she came from, and the terrible sin she committed so she could marry your father. Now, dear, before you ask me anymore questions, you have to think very well on if you really want the answers.''

Rin's eyes filled with tears but she didn't ask him anything else.

Sesshomaru sat in his office chair, holding his gun. His eyes were beginning to hurt from crying when he heard his wife's voice.

''Sesshomaru! My life, I'm home!''

Sesshomaru slowly stood up and looked down at the gun in his hand before setting it down and walking into the living room.

Rin smiled at her husband when she saw him before turning her back to him to get the truck keys out of her purse. ''My love, I went to see Father Jaken. I gave him the news and you don't know how happy he was about the baby we're-Sesshomaru? What's wrong?''

''You fucking liar,'' Sesshomaru hissed.

Rin's eyes widened. ''What is it, Sesshomaru?''

''You still have the audacity to ask me? How could you deceive me this way?'' Sesshomaru questioned her. ''You brought your lover to my own house. Kohaku Mai was here, under my roof, he ate at my table. That bastard shook my hand, the hand I offered him in friendship!''

''Let me explain, Sesshomaru,'' Rin tried to reach out to her husband but he forcefully grabbed her by her wrists and pushed her down to her knees on the floor.

''That's where you belong. On the floor. Because you're garbage!'' Sesshomaru shouted before throwing her down to the floor. ''Why? Why did you do it!?''

Rin picked herself up off the floor. ''No, no, I swear-I swear on my life you're wrong.''

''Shut up! Shut up, shut up,'' Sesshomaru commanded. ''You're a tramp. I've never ever met a woman as evil as you. And me? I told you I loved you. I had to beg you-beg you to look at me!'' Sesshomaru suddenly threw a lamp from one of the tables, across the room.

''Please, Sesshomaru!'' Rin yelled out.

''How could I-how could I be so blind? So stupid,'' Sesshomaru snarled.

''Let me explain,'' Rin pleaded. ''Kohaku came here by accident!''

''I told you to shut up!'' Sesshomaru snapped. ''Everything that comes out of your mouth is a lie.''

''No, no, I swear on our child,'' Rin whimpered.

Sesshomaru shook his head furiously. ''No, no, no. Not our child. That bastard's child.''

Rin gasped. ''No.''

''That bastard that you made me believe was mine,'' Sesshomaru sneered.

''No, no! I swear on my dad that is not true, Sesshomaru! Since I married you, no one else has touched me! I've only been yours! I swear on my dad,'' Rin cried.

''I would be a fool to believe you again,'' Sesshomaru hissed. ''While that guy was here, you were distant with me. You ran into my arms as soon as he left to blind me, to deceive me, to make me believe the child you're having is mine! But it's not. I want you to leave right now.''

''Sesshomaru, my love, please-''

''Get out of my life. I don't want to see you ever again,'' Sesshomaru growled. ''I swear that if you stay another minute in front of me, I'll kill you.'' Sesshomaru walked away towards Rin's aunt's room.

Rin chased after him. ''No, Sesshomaru, please don't do this. Please, Sesshomaru, you have to listen to me! You can't blame me without listening to me first!'' Rin reached out and touched his arm.

''Don't you dare touch me! Don't touch me!'' Sesshomaru shouted and then turned to kick open Sakura's door.

''I'm begging you, listen to me, listen!'' Rin pleaded.

''Shut up!'' Sesshomaru told her.

''I won't leave, Sesshomaru, I won't leave until you've listened to me! Please.''

''You, Sayo, pack this woman's bags.'' Sayo didn't move. ''Quickly!'' Sesshomaru roared causing her to run. ''I'll be in my office. I want you gone from this house in half an hour.'' Sesshomaru left Rin alone with her aunt.

''No, no, this can't be happening,'' Rin whimpered.

''Shhhh,'' Sakura took her niece into her arms and held her tightly.

''I want to die, aunt, I swear I do! This can't be happening!'' Rin sobbed.

''Sesshomaru.''

''Inuyasha. What are you doing here?'' Sesshomaru asked when he encountered his younger brother in his living room.

''I talked to Shiro's sister and she told me she hasn't heard from him ever since he came to work here,'' Inuyasha explained.

''You'll have to call her back and tell her, her brother is dead. The police already took his body to the morgue,'' Sesshomaru informed him.

''The police killed him?'' Inuyasha assumed.

Sesshomaru shook his head. ''No. Kohaku Mai killed him to take his name and enter this ranch without me suspecting, to mock me, to sleep around with my wife all he wanted in my own house.''

''No, no, no,'' Rin kept crying as she fell on her bed.

''Oh, ma'am-it breaks my heart seeing you cry like this,'' Sayo whimpered.

''Did he hurt you, dear? Did he hit you?'' Sakura asked.

Rin shook her head. ''No, he didn't, but he knows everything. He knows Kohaku was here, that he pretended to be the foreman.''

''Who could have told him?'' Sakura questioned.

''I don't know, I have no idea, but he's furious! He kicked me out,'' Rin cried. ''He said the baby I'm expecting isn't his!''

Sayo's eyes widened. ''What?''

''Did you try to explain?'' Sakura asked her.

''Yes, but he won't listen. He's completely blinded by rage and anger!'' Rin sobbed. ''I don't know what to do. How could he think this of me? That I could cheat on him-how? That my baby isn't his? I don't want to leave here. I don't want to be away from Sesshomaru!''

''I know, dear but what can we do? I'll ask Miroku when he comes back to to help us with our bags,'' Sakura said.

''No! I won't leave! I love him too much! I'm expecting his child,'' Rin whimpered. ''No, I'm going to talk to him.''

''Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru. You're not sure of what you're saying,'' Inuyasha said as they entered his office.

''Of course I'm sure! I was so stupid, I should have seen it sooner,'' Sesshomaru growled.

''Kagome..That's why she told her husband she'd stop seeing me! Kagome knows!'' Inuyasha realized.

Sesshomaru scoffed. ''Of course she knew. Kagome was here and she saw them together and never said a word. She let her friend lie to me! Everyone knew! Rin's aunt and I'm sure Sayo helped her! Everyone was laughing behind my back! Everyone was covering up for my wife's betrayal! But everyone is leaving now!''

''Sesshomaru..I think you need to talk to Rin first, let her explain things. Maybe she's not as guilty as you think,'' Inuyasha suggested.

''You need more evidence than the him being in my house?'' Sesshomaru questioned angrily.

''I don't know, I think that, if Kagome was willing to sacrifice herself so you wouldn't find out, it must be because-''

''Because she's a liar like her!'' Sesshomaru yelled. ''A treacherous liar. Kagome found herself a lover, just like Rin. I bet that's what they talked about when they were together, about how good they felt having two fools for husbands. You know what? You're lucky. Naraku only had you beaten. I'll find Kohaku Mai and, when I have in front of me, I'll kill him with my own hands. I feel so bad, Inuyasha. I wish I could take that gun and-She was my everything. I adored her.''

''Sesshomaru, we have to talk,'' Rin burst through the door.

''I don't want to listen to anymore of your lies,'' Sesshomaru snapped. "We've said everything we need to say.''

''No. You did but I didn't and you can't kick me out without letting me defend myself,'' Rin insisted.

''Watch me,'' Sesshomaru retorted and stood to leave. Rin wrapped her arms around his waist tightly. ''Don't touch me!'' Sesshomaru yelled.

''Sesshomaru! Enough! I'm gonna leave you two alone, to talk,'' Inuyasha said. ''Listen to her, Sesshomaru.'' Inuyasha left the room.

''What do you have to say to me?'' Sesshomaru asked her.

''Before anything else, that I love you, Sesshomaru. I love you like I've never loved anybody. If you really make me leave, I'll be the most miserable wom-''

''Save your words and tell me what it is you want,'' Sesshomaru growled.

''I didn't ask Kohaku to come here. He found out you brought me here and decided to come look for me. On his way, he ran into some bandits who had just killed the foreman you had hired in Kamakura. He decided to take his place,'' Rin explained.

Sesshomaru scoffed. ''What a coincidence. You want me to believe such nonsense? No, Rin, I'll tell you what happened. He ran into the real Shiro Kon on his way here. When he learned who he was, he came up with a plan and killed him. Then, he buried him so no one would find the body. So don't come telling me about bandits now.''

''It's the truth,'' Rin whimpered. ''Just like it's also true that, at first, I wanted to leave you. But, then, I didn't. Because I started loving you. I begged him. I asked him a million times to leave, I begged him, but he didn't want to. He wouldn't. I didn't say anything because I was terrified you two would fight. I didn't want there to be a tragedy.''

''Of course you were scared I'd kill him like a rat,'' Sesshomaru hissed.

''Yes, but I was also worried about you because I already had feelings for you!'' Rin confessed. ''I love you, Sesshomaru! I love you. Please, don't push me away. I'm begging you, Sesshomaru. I swear I was never unfaithful to you, I swear. Ever since I married you, I've only been yours. And my child is yours. I'm begging you to believe me, Sesshomaru. I'm asking. Please, my life, trust me.''

''Are you done?'' Sesshomaru asked her. ''You are the worst woman I've ever met. I can't even call you a prostitute because you're worse than them. Looking at you makes me sick. I want you out of my life, right now! I want you to go to hell with everything and that child of yours that I'll never recognize as mine, never! Did you hear me?''

''I believed you, Sesshomaru. When I found you and Sara and you explained things to me, I trusted you! You promised that, no matter what, you wouldn't doubt me or what I feel for you!'' Rin reminded him.

''Now I understand why you said all of that. You wanted to cover your back in case I ever found out about your betrayal,'' Sesshomaru assumed. ''But, this time, crying won't work. You're so smart that you know just how to play me. But I won't believe your lies. If it's any consolation, I admit it's also my fault for insisting on having you when I knew from the start what I was getting myself into. You turned out to be just as vile as your mother. Did you know her and my uncle were lovers for many years? Raven cheated on your dad just like you cheated on me.''

''I am nothing like her,'' Rin whimpered.

Sesshomaru nodded. ''You're right. You're worse. Raven at least never had the nerve to bring her lover to her house.''

Rin choked on a sob when she tried to laugh. ''You know, yes, I do know what my mother did. And, 'til now, I didn't understand why you hadn't told me anything, but now I see you were waiting for a moment like this, just like this, to hurt me!''

Sesshomaru almost grimaced but stopped himself. ''Can you get out of my house, or will you still crawl and beg for forgiveness, despite knowing you don't deserve it?''

Rin shook her head. ''The one that doesn't deserve to be forgiven is you. Because of the way you have insulted me. But, if that's what you want, Sesshomaru, fine! I'll leave right now. But you won't see me or your child every again in your life!'' Rin yelled at him and stormed out to where everyone was waiting in the living room. ''Sayo. Let's go.''

''Ma'am-then, you're really leaving?'' Sayo asked her.

''Yes. And you're coming with us too,'' Rin told her.

Sayo's eyes widened. ''Me?''

''What? Didn't you say you wanted to look after my child as if you were their aunt?'' Rin reminded her.

''Yes, but what about the boss?'' Sayo questioned.

''The boss? The boss doesn't want to hear from me or the child I'm expecting!'' Rin shouted.

''What if I talked to Father Jaken?'' Sayo suggested.

''What for, what for, what for? My God, I don't want anyone to beg Sesshomaru again. He hurt me so much. He's so unfair! I'll never forgive him for this humiliation, and much less, for rejecting his child!'' Rin exclaimed. ''Let's go.''

''Miroku is loading your wife's suitcases in the truck,'' Inuyasha told his brother.

''It's about time,'' Sesshomaru replied.

''Are you sure about what you're doing?'' Inuyasha asked him.

''Could you forgive Kagome? For cheating on you? For having another man's baby?'' Sesshomaru questioned.

Inuyasha grimaced but stayed silent.

''The truck is ready, dear,'' Sakura stepped into the room Rin formally shared with her husband.

''Oh, aunt,'' Rin cried. ''I feel I'm leaving a piece of my soul here.''

''I understand, sweetie, but it's better if we leave now, before you have another misunderstanding with your husband,'' Sakura sighed.

Rin let out a sad laugh. ''I can still remember all the times I tried so hard to escape from this place, from him. And now...'' Rin sobbed.

''I know, my dear,'' Sakura pulled her niece into her arms for a moment and let her cry.

''Let's go,'' Rin said and grabbed her purse and met Sayo in the living room before walking outside to Miroku who was waiting in the truck to drive them back to town. Rin stopped as she opened the passenger side door to look up and find Sesshomaru looking down at her. ''Goodbye, my life,'' Rin cried before getting in the truck.

''Goodbye, Rin. Goodbye forever,'' Sesshomaru watched her leave.

*SIGH* There it is. Just to give y'all some hope and a taste of what's to come, Sesshomaru is gonna need his sister to pull through this mess^^
