Hello. This is gonna get worse before it gets better. Goodbye.

NOTE: I feel like these next few chapters are going to jump around a lot but there is just so much stuff to squeeze in and stuff to leave out and so many episodes to go through so there is just nothing I can really do about it and I still hope you enjoy.

I OWN NOTHING.

''That's the last of the bags, ma'am.''

''Thanks, Miroku. You can go,'' Rin told him.

''You want me to send the boss any messages?'' Miroku asked her.

''No. None,'' Rin whimpered.

''Okay. Goodbye,'' Miroku sighed before leaving.

''Rin, sweetheart,'' Jihayo greeted his daughter. ''What are you doing here?''

''We came to stay a few days with you,'' Rin lied. ''Aren't you delighted, daddy?''

''Of course,'' Jihayo assured her. ''Where's your husband?''

''He stayed at the ranch. He had too much work to do,'' Rin shrugged.

''Yes, that man is always working and Rin has to go to see her gynecologist for her pregnancy,'' Sakura reminded her brother.

''Of course. We have to take very good care of my grandchild,'' Jihayo grinned.

''My love. You said you'd be back yesterday. Is everything alright?,'' Kagome stood up from sitting down with Inuyasha's parents.

''You lied to me!'' Inuyasha yelled as he grabbed her shoulders roughly.

''What are you talking about? I don't understand!'' Kagome exclaimed.

''Inuyasha, son, calm down!'' Inutashio ordered his son.

''Rin had her lover, Kohaku Mai at her and Sesshomaru's house. That's what Naraku knew that Sesshomaru couldn't find out, isn't it? You told me-You promised me that he didn't need to know!'' Inuyasha shouted.

''I did and I meant it! I swear I didn't lie to you!'' Kagome insisted.

''You don't think my brother needs to know his wife was having an affair?'' Inuyasha questioned.

''She wasn't! Inuyasha, my love, please, just let me explain,'' Kagome pleaded.

Inuyasha took a deep breath and let go of her. ''Explain then because none of this, makes sense!''

''Miroku, you're in charge now, understand?'' Sesshomaru told Miroku as they walked through the yard.

''Yes, sir,'' Miroku responded.

''Where did you take her when you dropped her into town?'' Sesshomaru asked.

''To her parents,'' Miroku answered.

Sesshomaru shook his head. ''Not my wife. Sara.''

''Oh. She told me to drop her off in the middle of the town square,'' Miroku replied.

''I told you to take her to a hotel!'' Sesshomaru snapped. ''How am I going to find her now?''

''I just did what she wanted,'' Miroku shrugged.

''Give me the keys to the truck,'' Sesshomaru ordered.

''Where are you going?'' Miroku asked him.

''To find Sara.''

''Oh goodness,'' Izayoi breathed out once Kagome finished telling them the story.

''I promise Rin would never be unfaithful to her husband. That's just not who she is,'' Kagome insisted. ''This whole thing is just a huge accident.''

''I believe you but Sesshomaru is convinced that Rin and Kohaku were deceiving him this whole time and that the baby she's carrying isn't his,'' Inuyasha informed them.

''Oh no,'' Inutashio sighed.

''I've got to go see Rin and make sure she's okay,'' Kagome said as she grabbed her purse.

''I'm going with you,'' Izayoi grabbed her purse and followed.

''Everything looks wonderful, Rin.''

Rin sighed in relief.

''Can you tell us if it's a boy or girl yet?'' Rin's aunt asked the doctor.

''Not yet. It's still too early. She's only eight weeks along,'' The doctor informed them. ''But everything looks fine.''

''How could your husband miss this, dear?'' Jihayo questioned. ''Sesshomaru should be here. Look, look, it's my grandchild. My grandchild!'' Jihayo sobbed from happiness.

Rin's eyes watered but she smiled at her father.

Once Rin returned from the hospital she sat at her bedroom windowsill for hours just staring out into the yard with Sayo watching her from the corner. Eventually, Kagome and Izayoi came into her room but what really surprised her was Father Jaken was with them.

''Oh, friend,'' Kagome gasped.

Rin whimpered as Kagome wrapped her arms around her. ''He's so angry at me, Kagome. He said such awful things to me. Sesshomaru is convinced that I cheated on him with Kohaku, but you know that's not true.''

''Of course I know it, Rinny,'' Kagome assured her.

''We all believe you, sweetie,'' Izayoi reassured her.

''I know it too, dear but look, as soon as Miroku told me Sesshomaru had kicked you out of the house, I immediately went to see him and tried to make him calm down and explain everything to him. I took your side, dear, but-but unfortunately, right now, Sesshomaru is just not capable of listening to reason,'' Father Jaken told her.

Rin scoffed. ''Let him think what he wants, it's all the same to me.''

''No, no, that's not true, dear, I know it's not true. I know you care about him, a lot. And I also know how much it hurts you to be away from him,'' Father Jaken said.

''I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive him for denying his child,'' Rin whimpered.

''No, dear, please, don't be so proud. Don't make the same mistake Sesshomaru made. Besides, you know everything he said, well-he just said it because he's hurting. He feels he's been fooled and betrayed by you and by that man that he once thought of as his friend,'' Father reminded her.

''You know, it's very painful, but I admit that a lot of what's happening is my fault. So I don't have another choice but to accept that I've lost Sesshomaru forever,'' Rin cried.

''No, no, dear, for God's sake, don't give up, especially now that Sara's bad influence can-'' ''Sara? What does Sara have to do with this? Did Sesshomaru go looking for her? Tell me! Did he take her to live with him? Answer me, say something! Is she with him?'' Rin questioned.

''Yes, dear, Sara is back at the ranch,'' Father confessed. ''And that's not what worries me, dear. That girl is capable of poisoning Sesshomaru's soul and turning him against you even more!''

Rin erupted into sobs while Kagome and Izayoi held her.

An hour later, Rin's aunt took her out to shop for the baby to keep her mind off of things.

''Emerald told me before we left that Captain Midoriya came to see Raven,'' Sakura informed Rin. ''She said he looked very angry. What do you think is going on?''

''I'm sure he found out mom lied to him about Kohaku and used him to frame an innocent man to protect her cowardly son,'' Rin scoffed.

''You think he talked to Kohaku?'' Sakura questioned.

''Either him or someone else. It was bound to come out eventually, aunt,'' Rin replied.

''I suppose you're right,'' Sakura looked around at the different shops when she recognized someone. ''Hey, isn't that, that woman Sesshomaru kicked out of the ranch?''

Rin looked over and she and Sara locked eyes.

''Look who it is,'' Sara grinned as she approached Rin. ''Do you like my new dress? Sesshomaru just bought it for me.''

Rin tensed up. ''Yes, Father Jaken told me my husband asked you to come back to the ranch.''

Sara shook her head. ''No, he didn't ask. He begged me to come back to live with him. Now, I'm the lady of the house. I'm his woman.''

Rin's eyes widened. ''You're lying.''

''Of course I'm not. Actually, we even spent the night together,'' Sara smirked. ''I won't rest until Sesshomaru has forgotten you forever. I'll have his baby. Yes, Rin, I'll give him a child that does have his blood.'' Rin slapped her. ''What do you think? I have no reason to put up with your insults or your slaps!'' Sara slapped her and jumped on top of her trying to hit her.

Rin immediately kicked Sara off of her and held her stomach protectively. ''Get off of me, tramp! You're crazy!''

''Sara!'' Sesshomaru came outside and held Sara back.

''Are you okay, my dear? Did that maid hurt you?'' Sakura asked Rin worriedly while she held her.

''No, I'm okay, aunt. I'm okay,'' Rin assured her.

''You should keep your animal in a cage! Rin is pregnant, for God's sake!'' Sakura yelled.

''She started it, Sesshomaru, I swear,'' Sara lied. ''She found out I'm back at the ranch and she started insulting me. She slapped me!''

''Liar! That's not true!'' Sakura exclaimed.

''Stay out of it, old hag!'' Sara growled.

''Servant,'' Sakura hissed. ''You'll let her do this? You'll let her hit your wife? Really, you won't do anything?''

''Enough!'' Rin shouted. ''There's no point. Let's go.''

''Rin!'' Sesshomaru called after her but she walked away making Sesshomaru rush after her.

''I have nothing to talk about with you, it's all very clear,'' Rin snapped. ''You took that woman to the ranch as your woman. You brought her to my room and took her to our bed.''

''Nothing you hadn't already done,'' Sesshomaru snarled.

Rin shook her head and left him standing there. She finally stopped once she got to a bench in the park and threw her purse down. ''To humiliate me! To humiliate me even more, that's why he did it.''

''Sweetheart, that girl is also taking advantage of your fight to seduce him!'' Sakura pointed out.

''He went looking for her! He brought her to his ranch! He brought her to his bed!'' Rin cried. ''And he only did it because he knows how much it hurts me. And of course it does! It's ripping me apart. I swear, aunt, my baby is the only thing making me hold on. I would rather Sesshomaru have killed me a million times that night instead of making me suffer like this! This pain hurts more and more. My baby is the only thing giving me the strength not to crumble. Sesshomaru better never regret everything he's done to me. He better not ask me to forgive him because, now, I'm the one that will never forgive him!''

A couple of days had passed and Rin's family was very worried. Tohru had been arrested for the murder of Kuro Gon. Rin's father and mother went to visit him with a lawyer that morning but Jihayo had suddenly left when Tohru told him that Sesshomaru had kicked Rin out of his house. Everyone thought Jihayo would've come found Rin to talk but he hadn't been back for quite a few hours causing everyone to be concerned.

Rin was sitting in the living room staring off into space when her mother and brother arrived back home.

''What do you want to eat, my baby?'' Raven asked while latched onto her son. ''Anything you want. You deserve nothing but the best.''

Rin rolled her eyes before standing up. ''As planned, you used your influence to get my brother out of trouble.''

''I wouldn't abandon him to fate, would I, princess?'' Raven questioned.

''No, obviously not,'' Rin scoffed. ''I wish Kohaku had a mother like you, because he was innocent, and he went through a terrible nightmare. Thanks to you, that's not fair, is it, Tohru? That you spent so little time in jail, when you destroyed someone's life!''

''Oh, okay, shut up, you bore me,'' Raven sneered. ''Where's your father? I need to talk to him.''

''He hasn't come back yet. You can thank your son for that,'' Rin retorted before falling back down on the sofa.

''Whatever,'' Raven snapped and went to the kitchen.

''We both did wrong, right?'' Tohru sat down next to his sister.

''Yes,'' Rin sighed.

''I'm really sorry for you. Is there anything I can do for you?'' Tohru offered receiving an eye roll from his sister. ''This is how life is. Look, now is a very bad moment, but everything is going to change, that's life's way. Okay? Everything is going to get better. Look, everything evens out. I married Kya, and in return I'm not worried about money anymore. Everything evens out. That's the way it is. Come on, don't be down. There are advantages to being divorced. You're young, you're beautiful. You should have fun.''

''You're shameless,'' Rin hissed.

''No, I'm not shameless, I'm practical,'' Tohru defended himself. ''You have to do the best with what you have. If you get down, if you get angry, you're going to lose.''

''Do you know what? I'd like to be just a little bit like you-not taking life seriously, not worrying about anything, not caring about anyone's feelings, your feelings, or what people may say,'' Rin said.

''Well, we don't have to think of what people may say. And it just matters that you try,'' Tohru shrugged. ''If you're not so serious, why would you spend all day thinking the same thing?''

''Nothing,'' Rin replied.

''So, then?'' Tohru questioned.

''I can't help it, Tohru,'' Rin whimpered.

''Do you want me to help you?'' Tohru asked.

''How?'' Rin questioned.

''Let's go to a party. Let's have fun, let's go to the best party ever,'' Tohru suggested. ''Come on, let's go!''

Rin shook her head. ''No, I've never been interested in that and you know it.''

Tohru sighed. ''Life is going fast, and if we don't have fun, we'll be old, and we'll have wrinkles, and we'll die earlier.'' Rin chuckled lightly. ''That's your choice. You know where to find me.'' Tohru went upstairs to his room leaving Rin alone with her thoughts until Emerald walked into the living room.

''Miss Rin, your husband is here.''

Rin's eyes widened and she shot up off the sofa at the sight of Sesshomaru.

''Good evening,'' Sesshomaru greeted when he took a step towards her.

''Good evening,'' Rin began to play with her hair.

''Is your mother here?'' Sesshomaru suddenly asked.

''Yes,'' Rin answered.

''Call her, please,'' Sesshomaru requested.

''Why?'' Rin questioned. Sesshomaru stayed silent. ''Why?''

''I brought your father,'' Sesshomaru said.

''My dad?'' Rin questioned.

Sesshomaru grimaced. ''Yes, I'm very sorry, he's dead.''

Rin's eyes widened and immediately tears flowed down her cheeks. ''No, no, that's not true. That isn't true. What you're saying is not true. It can't be. You're doing this to hurt me, aren't you?''

''No, no, Rin, my love,'' Sesshomaru reached out to comfort her without thinking.

''You love hurting me, that's why!'' Rin exclaimed. ''Tell me that it's not true.''

''What's going on, Rin?'' Sakura asked as she walked in.

''I'm sorry, Rin,'' Sesshomaru said.

''My dad! My dad! My dad! My dad, my dad, my dad! He's dead!'' Rin screamed and held onto her aunt while she cried.

''No!'' Sakura gasped.

''Why are you screaming?'' Raven and Tohru came out.

''My dad is dead! My dad is dead!'' Rin sobbed. ''No, no, no!''

In the novela we actually see the dad die and it's real sad and I can't go through that again T.T Reviews people, reviews.
