Red and Lizzie just got back to their apartment from capturing a Blacklister, he closed the door behind him. "Do we still have to be at the Post office around 7:30 tonight?" Red asked as he took off his Oliver Peoples Victory LA sunglasses as well as his tan fedora, he placed them both on the table by his black Lazyboy recliner.

Lizzie placed her house keys on their kitchen island, she turned her body to face her fiancé "We do, babe and I know you'd rather stay here with me tonight. I've already informed Cooper that we would be there tonight, Dembe is our plus one. You know he's like family to me as well and I sure hope you would be fine with him coming with us." She smiled softly at him

Raymond thought about what she just told him for a minute. "If Dembe wants to come with us then he can. I'm not going to stop him; he's a grown man after all. Besides, Cooper and the team know who he is."

Just then there was a knock on their apartment door. "I'll get it babe." She walked to open the door to see who was at the door. "Come in Dembe." She said politely, but to the point Raymond heard her.

He turns around and looks over at Dembe "Liz said that you wanted to come with us?"

"I do Raymond but if you don't want me to go then I won't. Just tell me and I won't be ashamed if you didn't want me there while you decide to announce your engagement to Elizabeth Keen to the entire task force." Dembe said looking over at his friend

Red sighs a little bit. "Make yourself at home while Elizabeth and I get ready." Red responded as he walked towards his and Lizzie's room.

"We'll be out in a few minutes." She informed Dembe before she went into the room she shared with Red.

"That's fine I'm not going anywhere. I want to make sure that you and Raymond get to the party safely." Dembe called out

Lizzie heard what Dembe said as she walked of to go get ready like Red. She shut their bedroom door behind her before she went into their walk-in closet to grab a red dress that went down to her knees with no back. Red already had his suit pants on already.

"We must not keep them waiting now shall we?" He turned around to see if she was dressed yet. Red was tightening his tie.

She listened to Red as she was putting on her red heels on. "I agree." Liz and Red walk out of the room to greet Dembe.

"You guys look nice." He smiled and looked over at Elizabeth "You especially look beautiful, Elizabeth."

"Stop flirting with my fiancé." Red joked around with Dembe knowing that Dembe wouldn't do anything that he wouldn't like. Especially if it was trying to get with his girl, but Dembe is a very loyal guy and Red knew he could trust him.

Dembe raised his hands, adding to the joke between them "Alright, you got me Red." He smiled

"Alright you two knock it off. If we're going to be on time; we're going to have to get going." She said informing both of the men knowing how her fiancé hated being late to 'his appointments.'

Red faced Liz "Yes we shouldn't keep them waiting now. Both of you know how much I hate being late." He said

Liz and Dembe chuckled lightly "I sure do babe." Lizzie said looking at her fiancé lovingly

"I'll go pull the car up front for you two love birds." Dembe announced before he left the the apartment

A few minutes later, Red and Lizzie walked out of their apartment seeing Dembe already in the car waiting for them. Red opened the passengers rear door of his black Mercedes S-Class for Lizzie. Once Lizzie was inside, Red scooted in behind her. The ride to the Post office was quiet as Red sat next to Lizzie.

He was nervous to announce the engagement to the entire FBI task force, he could care less what Ressler or Cooper had to say about him but when it came to Lizzy that was a different story. He knew that both of the men didn't really like Liz and him being romantically involved. He could tell them both to go screw themselves but he wouldn't because all he cared about was Lizzie and she was his.

Once they got to the Black site, Red got out of the car first and held the door for Lizzie so that she can get out. "Are you ready my dear?" Red asked as he helped her out of the car before he shut the door.

Lizzie smiled softly at him "I sure am." She held his hand in hers as she started to lead him to the post office.

Red squeezed her hand softly "Do we have to stay till midnight?" He asked as they got to the door

She looked up at him as she grabbed the handle of the door "We'll see how it goes, how does that sound?" Lizzie pulled the door open with her free hand

"I could live with that but whatever we decide we will have to inform Dembe about an hour before we decide to take off." He said as they entered the room before they reached the elevator that would take them down to Black site.

The elevator ride was quick and short, the couple just stood there both of them were really nervous about announcing their engagement. Once the elevator dinged to let them know that they have reached their floor, Red kissed Lizzie's cheek softly. They walked out of the elevator together, Lizzie hid her ring in Red's hand. They had decided to announce it once everyone was present including Dembe.

Agent Ressler walked towards them "Reddington," He said looking at Red, then he faced Liz. "Keen."

"Ressler, no work tonight. We all need a break from working and besides it's New Years Eve." Liz pointed out as she was hanging off of Red's arm

"I wasn't even planning on talking about work." Donald said looking at them.

Soon after Cooper came over to them as Dembe was walking towards the couple himself "Agent Keen, Reddington." Cooper greeted them.

"Hey Cooper," Liz said smiling

The rest of the team though that something was off because Liz never let go of Reddington's arm. Red noticed that the team was in fact staring at them, he decided right there and then that they should tell them to end all the awkward stares that the team was giving them. Red looked down at Liz and smiled before he looked upon the group of Agents and his bodyguard. "Lizzie and myself have some news." Red announced to the group

The entire team stayed silent as Dembe smiled at the couple. Lizzie removes her hand from his arm. "Red proposed to me on Christmas Day and I said yes." she announced to the team most of them were stunned as she showed off the ring

"Are you talking his name?" Aram asked as he truly accepted the couple

"Yes, you guys are looking at the future Mrs. Reddington." She announced to the group, she could feel Red's radiant smile on her before she laid eyes onto Ressler and Cooper. "Listen you two I know you never cared about my relationship with Raymond. I'm not asking you two to accept our relationship but after the wedding I'm changing my name. I'm not going to repeat myself and I sure as hell will never explain how much I love Raymond to any of you." She finished talking as she left Ressler and Cooper speechless.

"I think it's time for food everyone." Samar said sensing how awkward the space was getting

"I think that is a wonderful idea, by the way I'm starving." Red spoke up trying to help with the tension in the room.

Red led Lizzie where the buffet was so that she could get some food for them, she got Red some food since she knew what he liked and what he didn't. Red went to go grab a bottle of wine for them to share. He saw Lizzie and Dembe already at the table waiting for him.

"Have you and Raymond come up with the date for the wedding?" Dembe asked as Red walked closer towards them. He couldn't wait to take off his fedora and just relax for a few hours with the two people who he loved so much. He also hope to at least have one dance with Lizzie even if they had to wait till they had gotten home for the night.

"No, not yet. Once we settle the date you'll be the first to know Dembe." Lizzie said smiling as she saw her fiancé walking towards them with an expensive bottle of wine for them to share.

The rest of the night went soundly, Ressler and Cooper minded their own business as they didn't cause any trouble with the happy couple. Red and Lizzie spent the night with Lizzie's co workers, even if two of them weren't fond of them being together. The three of them had agreed to leave the Post office around 10:30, they didn't want to take up any more of Dembe's night. Red wanted to be home at their apartment when it was midnight so that he could spend some alone time with Elizabeth.
