I stood there looking at the clock, only an hour or so has passed and I sit in my new office thinking to myself about all the weird demeanors people have around this pizzeria. I feel like I should be asking questions however I don't want to appear rude or ignorant to what could be a touchy subject. I don't know much about what has happened regarding this company, when I was little I only cared about the fun I would be having and after my parents died I kind of forgot that this place existed. My mind pondered over the "theories and speculation" the manager glossed over, should I go around asking other people what they know? I do still have a couple hours until my shift begins, it wouldn't hurt to learn more about the company I'm working for.

I hop out of my chair and make my way down towards the employee area where most of the employees are getting ready to close the restaurant for the night. I don't see Zelda anywhere so I guess asking her is out of the question, looks like it's time to make some new friends. I look around and see 4 employees still here, I try to find the most approachable one and found a dark skinned, short, petite girl with orange highlights in her hair putting silverware away. She looks approachable enough, I make my way towards her.

"Hello, my name is Link." I say with a smile. The girl turns to me with a somewhat bothersome face that says "I'm busy can't you see?" so maybe not as approachable as I thought.

"If you need something say it." she replies. Maybe this wasn't such a great idea to talk to this particular individual. I nervously laugh before saying

"I was wondering if you can tell me a bit about this place?"

"Sorry kid but I honestly don't give two shits about this place" she says. Who does she think she is calling me kid? Is she aware what she looks like?

"I'm sorry I'm new here and I don't know much about this place other than what I can remember from when I was a child"

She sighs and without looking up from her work she responds

"The fat guy who hired you owns the father company Fazbear entertainment, alongside Freddy Fazbear's Pizza there's also Fredbear family diner. Each establishment has their own animatronics as well as special animatronics that double as a robot and a suit an employee can wear." for someone who doesn't give to shits she certainly knows a lot about the place.

"How do you turn the animatronic into a suit?" I ask. She turns to me in annoyance.

"I was getting to that. There's this crank used to recoil the parts of the animatronics to the sides of the suits so people can climb inside. They stop using them however due to that incident with the children."

"Incident?" this was the first I was hearing about this.

"Damn you really are new here. Some kids went missing and we're never found. People speculated that someone used one of the suits to lure the kids somewhere to kill them, it didn't help that the old animatronics started to smell... strange so people believe they were stuffed inside the old animatronics which is why they got replaced." she stopped what she was doing for a moment and I could tell something was off.

"One of them was my younger brother, I kind of blame myself since I was the last to see him before he disappeared. If that is him in one of those things I'll make sure whoever did it will pay one way or another." her eyes were filled with anger until one of the other employees calls out

"Yo Midna! Your shift is done you can head out now!"

"Thanks Zant! I'm gonna bounce, here's my number call if you want to ask anymore questions. I'll be up for till 4 am I'm more of a night owl" she hands me a piece of paper, nice two girls' numbers in one day. I'm on a roll right now!

"One more piece of advice before I leave. Try not to die." she says as she walks out the door. That comment made a chill run down my back, what's wrong with this job? Each person I talk to is making me want to quit more and more.

"She's a cutie ain't she?" a voice next to me says. I turn to see Zant, the guy who told Midna her shift was over, standing next to me with a grin.

"Oh. Yeah I guess, she seems older than me though." I awkwardly reply

"Nah, she acts that way but she's only 16. I'd say you're in the clear kid." he chuckled and gave me a playful slap on the back.

"So what are you here for?" he asks

"Um I'm here for the night guard job" I say hopefully not causing another person to freak out.

"Wow kid you're pretty brave it gets crazy at night. The animatronics are said to walk around at night since if they don't their servos will lock up and become unable to operate during the day." oh so that's why people are freaking out, including me now.

"They walk around!? That's terrifying! I'm not so sure I wanna work here now" I say fear clearly visible on my face. Zant, realizing my fear, tries to calm me down but to little avail.

"Don't worry kid, they won't hurt you they just look scary at night. As long as you follow the instructions from the tape guy you'll be fine haha." Suddenly one of the managers came into the room.

"Alright everyone finish up it's time to lock up!" the remaining employees began to finish up and head out the door.

"You can handle this kid. Just keep a cool head, I open so I'll see you in the morning. Later!" Zant grabbed his bag and went out the door and now it's just me. I look at the clock, 11:30 pm, it's almost time for my first night. I grab a drink from the kitchen, they won't notice one drink missing, and make my way back to my office and popped the first training tape in. I was greeted by a voice who appeared to not know how to work a recording tape

"Uh, hello? Hello, hello?" said the tape man. "Uh, hello and welcome to your new summer job at the new and improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza." New and improved huh? if you say so dude.

"Uh, I'm here to talk you through some of the things you can expect to see during your first week here and to help you get started down this new and exciting career path." Sorry dude but exciting is not the word I'd use for this job so far.

"Uh, now I want you to forget anything you may have heard about the old location, you know. Uh, some people have a somewhat negative impression of the company." if what I've seen from Midna is true "negative impression" is probably most likely an understatement.

"Uh, that old restaurant was kind of left to rot for quite a while," can you please start a sentence that doesn't begin with Uh.

"...but I want to reassure you, Fazbear Entertainment is committed to family fun and above all, safety. They've spent a small fortune on these new animatronics,"

I finally decided to flip up the camera feed to look at the new animatronics. They have almost the same appearance of the old ones I grew up with except Bonnie's brighter color, Chica's new...features, and Freddy's lighter fur, not to mention their rosey cheeks each one seems to have. I stared at them as I listened to the apparent new features they have.

"...uh, facial recognition, advanced mobility, the even let them walk around during the day. Isn't that neat?" looks like they've learned their lessons from the missing children incident. That's a lot of security measures for simple animatronics to have. The guy clears his throat.

"But most importantly, they're all linked into some kind of criminal database, so the can detect a predator a mile away. Heck we should be paying them to guard you!" sounds like it looks like I'm in good hands.

"Uh, now that being said, no new system's without it's...kinks" Uh oh.

"Uh... you're only the second guard to work at that location. Uh, the first guy finished his week but complained about... conditions" Conditions? Such as?

"Uh, we switched him over to day shift, so hey, lucky you right?"

"Nonono, don't skip over those conditions!" I said out loud even though I knew he couldn't hear me.

"Uh, mainly he expressed concern that certain characters seem to move around at night, and even attempted to get into his office" the tape guy continued

What?! So they do move around at night, and they even try to get into my office?! I'm starting to see why everyone was terrified to take this job.

"Now, from what we know, that should be impossible. Uh, that restaurant should be the safest place on earth." oh totally I think to myself.

"So while our engineers don't really have an explanation for this, the working theory is that... the robots we're never given a proper "night mode". so when it gets quiet, they think their in the wrong room, so then they to find where they people are, and in this case, that's your office." sounds legit I guess?

"So, our temporary solution is this, there's a music box over by the Prize Counter, and it's rigged to be wound up remotely." I flip over the Prize Counter video feed and see that a timer was going down and was near it's conclusion. In a panic I press the remote button on the computer, this guy seriously couldn't tell me sooner? If he thought through his sentences first instead of saying "Uh" all the time maybe he could've gotten to that sooner.

"So every once in a while, switch over to the Prize Counter video feed and wind it up for a few seconds. It doesn't seem to affect all of the animatronics, but it does affect... one of them." One of them?! what about the others?!

"Uh, and as for the rest of them we have an easier solution. You see, there may be a minor glitch in the system." Glitch?

"Something about the robots seeing you as an endoskeleton without his costume on, and wanting to stuff you in a suit" Stuff me in a what?! No human being can fit inside one of those, even a relatively small teen like myself! It would kill them!

"So hey, we've given you a empty Freddy Fazbear head, problem solved!" Is it though?

"You can put it on anytime, and leave it on for as long as you want. Eventually anything that wandered in, will wander back out. Uh, something else worth mentioning is kind of the quirky modern design of the building. you have noticed there are no doors for you to close, heh. But hey, you have a light! And even though your flashlight can run out of power, the building cannot. So, don't worry about the place going dark" This is a lot for someone like me to take in all at once.

"Well, I think that's it. Uh, you should be golden. Uh, check the lights, put on the Freddy head if you need to, uh, keep the music box wound up, piece of cake. Have a good night, and I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"*Inhale* AHHHHHHHHHH!" What even is this job! Am I being used as bait or something? Who in their right mind would allow someone to work at a place like this? The only good thing that came out of that recording is that somehow it's already 2am meaning I'm 4 more hours away from ending this nightmare.

"Alright I understand what I need to do! I need to watch the cameras and make sure they don't get near me- WHERE'S BONNIE?!" I checked the stage cam to see that Bonnie has left his spot while the other two remained stationary with the same expressions.

"Where did he go, where did he go, where did he go, where did he- OH HI!" I found Bonnie in Party Room 3 where he just stood there staring at the camera. This is starting to bring back some terrible memories, I now know what can go wrong.
