Chapter 3 Squad test
Kairi walks out of the Julius office following the wizard king down the hall to one of the rooms that are in the castle. The two then arrive at a door the king opens to show Kairi her room. It was simple, having wooden walls, a bed, desk, and window. "Now then this is where you will be staying for the night, tomorrow morning I will have an assistant come get you so that you may go through a test to see which squad is the best choice to have you join" says Julius as Kairi nods and heads in. "Thank you Julius" says Kairi as he gives a smile before closing the door and walking while she heads to the bed and rests.
The next day
Kairi wakes up early to prepare for whatever the test may be, she cleans her bed making it look as it did before "So I guess i'm going to ge-" she was cut off by a knock on the door. The keyblade wilder walks to the door and opens it up seeing a spike blond teen wearing a tunic with a creepy smile "Hi there im Luck" introduced the person with a very happy tone 'why those this feel familiar' Kairi thinks to herself.
Luck smiles with eyes shining for battle "And I'm taking you to the test now" he exclaims having Kairi look confused "What ab-" before she can complain the battle maniac grabs her and zooms to the corridor.
"Wwwooaahh ssllooww ddoowwnn" says Kairi as she is pulled around by luck who is bouncing off the walls to travel faster before hearing her and stopping. "Huh is there a problem?" Ask Luck with the same smile and happy attitude. Kairi looks at the boy curiously before answering. "Sorry you were just going way to fast for me back there" says Kairi. "Well we're almost there so we can just walk" says Luck. Kairi nods her head and begins walking with Luck. "So Luck, what squad are you on?" Ask Kairi. "I'm a member of the Black Bull the best squad in the kingdom or at least the best squad for those in it" says Luck, as Kairi is about to as more she sees a light at the end of the tunnel that Luck was leading her down. "Alright we're here now be ready cause you have to show your skills to the captains of the squads. "Got it" says Kairi summons her keyblade ready for whatever gets thrown at her.
On the Colosseum
"Huh welp looks like little Kairi is gonna give us a show" says Emxbar as she sits on top of the colosseum with a bucket of popcorn watching as Kairi enters the area.
Back with kairi
The keyblade wilder with keyblade in hand walks up to the arena seeing a large stone Coliseum with a balcony up high in the middle. She walks up the stone steps seeing small groups of people in the stands for what she can see, each one having a different color; the ones she can see are red, black, gold and green. She arrives in the middle of the arena waiting for introductions.
All the captains look at her and notice two things right away, she doesn't have a grimoire which isn't that hard to explain but what had them interested was her weapon being an odd shaped blade which seemed to have flowers on it making it resemble a key. William then stands up and addresses her. "Today you stand before the captains of the magic knight squads, before the test you will state your name and magic" says William in a serious voice. Kairi looks at the captains, seeing all of them with their unique looks. William in the middle with his golden robes and mask that covered his face, on his left there is a tall intimidating man with a green robe, next to him was a sleeping women with light purple hair, a pink robe and witch hat, the final man on the left had a purple robe, a pointy nose and a odd hair style. To the right of William was a man with silver hair and robe along with what appears to be a braid in the middle of his face. Further to the right there's a man with a red robe and hair, a boy that didn't look much older than her with a teal robe, a woman with blonde hair and a dark blue robe. Finally at the end of Yami. "Hello my name is Kair and I'm a user of electrical magic" says Kairi as Luck gains a crazy smile from the seats while the captains just look at her.
She feels some dread now but she still stands tall "So what is the test?" Wanting to know if she needs to think of something on her feet, the silver-haired man snaps his fingers as silver liquid suddenly shoot out of the ground, making the girl jump back in surprise. "Well the test is simple" as the silver liquid solidifies into platforms, bridges and other forms "Is to reach the top in 30 minutes, while random members of each squad will appear and try to stop you" explains in a very non caring tone.
Kairi noods feeling this should be a problem before she can start the man in red ask a question "Before we begin" having the others captains look at him for a moment "Can you please explain what is that blade on your hand?" He points to the keyblade that Kairi is holding, she thinks fast "Well it a magic item from my island" she exclaims fast as Yami raises a eyebrow "What does it do?" This time it was the silver-haired man. "Well you see this is ahh
Cut to the top of the colosseum
'Mmmmm this getting frustrating' thinks the disguise nobody to herself as she lazily twist her staff while dodging strikes from the shadow heartless and some new heartless that resemble a book with bat wings 'AGGGG if this keep going they will distribute the match and possibly kill our target' the other personality exclaims inside her "Well let just get done here" whispers Emxbar getting a glimpse of kairi falling of the tower while fighting a boy using wind. Her staff floats in front of her before it and herself split into two, forming two beings. Both girls look the same but the difference are there eyes are different colors, the left one has gold color eyes and the other red eyes. "It time" begins one orbs of multi-color poison surrounds the remaining heartless "to end this" said the other with a cruel smirk forming weapons out of the poison as both lunch at the heartless.
Back with Kairi
"Come on, come on!" Laughs luck as he has his hands and feet covered by electricity creating armor, as Kairi runs for her life 'nope nope nope!' She thinks to herself while dodging his slashes, metal weapons sent by a guy wearing glasses and a discount Sasu- i mean some guys sending purple ish orbs that are deleting parts of the tower.
"You can't keep running Kairi!" Yells Leopold as he and another knight with a flaming bat lunched fireballs at her causing her to jump around which gives Luck enough time to catch up and make a slash at her but she's able to block it with her keyblade but it sends her and shocks her. Seeing this Luck jumps at her but she's able to barely side step him giving her a cut on the side but also having Luck flying off the side of the tower. "Hahahahaha that's what you get you battle crazy maniac!" Yells the boy with the flaming bat before Kairi zaps him with her keyblade lunching him off the side as well.
While the bat guy is falling down she heard the voice of the vice captain of golden dawn "Don't get cocky brat!" She heard with Leopold jumping away from there spot seeing it get confume by spacial magic "Hey watch it!" The redhead yells in anger knowing that was attempted to kill, before the lunatic (let be honest that true) can retort Kairi jumps, using him as a way to get up and kicks him down propelling her up to higher. Kairi lands close to the top she sprints to reach the top "Finral do it!" Orders a silver hair girl, before the keyblade wielder can react a portal open and she runs through it when she comes back out she sees that "im back here!" Kairi yells in frustration seeing she is in the bottom and seeing 5 minutes in the clock and she is feeling drained. She sees some of the opponents she pass here breathing heavily and sweating but ready for a fight, but she isn't about to give up "Ok let's do this again" she is going to finish this.
She sweating a lot, extremely tired and running low on energy but she starts running at full speed dodging and weaving each attack getting hit a few times "Im" she kicks Luck "not" she begins running up the tower side using Thunder to intercept attacks "gonna" her keyblade began to glow with her clothes slowly turning blue "Spiral flame!/iron knight!/home run!" The members of different squads launch their biggest attacks surrounding her "LOSE!" Kairi screams as her keyblade suddenly explodes into petals surrounding her blocking the attacks surprising everyone. In kairi hands suddenly has a long pale blue pole with design of waves on a end is a star shape crystal on the other end of the staff a large flower bud suddenly forms from the petals of the keyblade, when the bud open being a red and sligh orange flower with a crystal in the form of lighting bolt wrapped around by vines.
Kairi looks at the staff before gaining a smile and begins to run again dodging the portals that appeared in front of her. "Fulgur!"Yells Kairi as she fires a quick lighting bolt at the person making portals who wasn't able to react fast enough and gets zapped unconscious as the lunatic launches multiple erasing orbs as she calls them at her. "Zorre!" Yells Kairi as she turns into a lighting bolt that dodges each shot before appearing in front of him "fulgur ferrum!" She yells as she punches him in the face with a hand covered in lightning. "One minute left!" Yells William. "Uh oh better make this last one count" says Kairi as she gathers all the energy she has left. "Fulgur ultima bestia!" Yells Kairi as she creates and rides a lightning dragon to the top of the tower just as the timer finishes.
Kairi came off the electric dragon and saw it disperse with her staff turning back into a keyblade and Kairi clothes going back to normal. "Congratulations you pass!" Cheers The wizards king like a child with everyone applauding to her she smiles knowing that she can work here 'I need to find Mickey and the others but for now i need to help this world' thought Kairi to herself as the magic knights she knows or are friendly come to her "That was awesome!" Happily yells Asta while hugging Kairi.
Said girl feeling her bones breaking she struggles to speak "Thanks can you please let me go" pleiades the girl. The anti magic user lets her go but still grinning.
The captains and king all come down from their stands and stand in front of Kairi. "Kairi you have proven yourself worthy of joining one of the nine magic knight squads" says Julius as four of the captains walk forward a bit standing in front of the others. "More than magic squad would like you to join so the choice is yours" says Julius. "The squads you may choose from are The Coral Peacocks led by Dorothy Unsworth, The Azure Deer led by Rill Boismortier, The Blue Rose led by Charlotte Roselei and The Crimson Lions led by Fuegoleon Vermillion" says Julius as Kairi looks between the four of them thinking about which she should join. "Hmm I chose the Crimson Lions" says Kairi as all the members of that squad cheer before running up and introducing themselves.
Back on the colosseum
Emxbar had finished with the heartless and was watching as Kairi was meeting all her new squad members. "Hmm the crimson lions huh? Alright then this should be interesting to see" says Emxbar as she teleports away.
Author's note: All of Kairi's attacks are in Latin and have something to do with lightning except for Zorre but I won't tell you what it is.
