Chapter 4 Dungeon

Inside of a large castle like building there is a auburn haired girl lying down in a bed with a red blanket draped over her. Everything is quiet as the sun light enters the room and shining on her slightly stirring her. Her eyes begin to open. "HEY KAIRI ITS TIME TO WAKE UP!" Yells Leopold who barged into her room causing her to suddenly jolt up and fall off her bed into the floor. She then gets up showing that her auburn hair is all messy and her new pajamas that she had gotten now had some dirt on them. "Ahh good your up hurry we have to go ack" he's suddenly launches out of the room by a bolt of lightning which came from Kairi's keyblade, she then walks to the door with a annoyed look on her face before closing and locking it before getting ready.

Out side of the room

Leopold smakes face first to the wall and slides off of it. He groans in pain as he rubs his face and chest to lower the pain, he could hear a laugh above him he looks up finding his big sister standing above smirking. "Well that could have gone worse" says the older Vermilion with amusement on her voice. The younger red head just role his eyes and stands up "Ya ya" he says with knowing his big sis would tease him to the ends of the earths he still getting tease by his family with his relationship with asta. Before anything Kairi opens the door and stares at the young Vermilion "Leopold don't barge-" she noticed the red head women, "ah who are you?"

The women gains a smile on her face as she probably announces who she is "My name is Mereoleona Vermillion the older sister of Leopold and Fuegoleon and the trainer of the Crimson Lion Kings!" Says Mereoleona as she then uses her magic to make fire paws that grab Kairi and Leopold as she begins to walk down the hall. "Uhh Leopold where is she taking us?" Says Kairi with a bit of fear in her voice. "Haha don't worry big sis is just bringing us on your first mission to a dungeon!" Says Leopold not even seeming fazed by the situation that their in.

The auburn girl looks at him for a moment but accept "Ok, i see that and what exactly is a dungeon?" She ask when Mereoleona answers "Well dungeons are basically magic infused labyrinths that appear at times thanks to the old magic that is weakening to pass of time" She says with a smirk but it fades when seeing "Darling can you explain why i heard that you exploded the kitchen?" Ask the mother of the siblings Athena Vermilion, in a very innocent tone that screams doom. Before Kairi and Leopold reacts they are drop to the floor "Ow/ouch" both said and before they ask what happening Mereoleona jumps out of the window in a hurry.

Athena shakes her head in disappointment before exuding an aura that makes the two kids shiver before she goes through the window and after her daughter. "Ahh is she gonna be ok?" Asked Kairi as she watches the older women casually keep pace with her daughter who is racing through the courtyard. "Yeah she's fine mom's just gonna ruff her up a bit for blowing the kitchen up, come on we should head over to big bro he's the one who'll give us the mission" says Leo as he walks away with his chipper attitude back. *" Oh god what did I get myself into"* thinks Kairi as she follows behind Leo until they arrived a at a office where a man that looks like an older version of Leopold sitting in a desk. "Hey big bro Fuegoleon any more information on the mission?" Ask Leopold as Fuegoleon looks up at his brother and new squad member. "Well you two are going to be working with Asta and Gordon from the black from the black bulls to check out a new dungeon that has just appeared in the common realm" says Fuegoleon as Leo salutes and Kairi copies.

Time skip

"Hah so this is a dungeon" she expected something big and scary looking place but "When you said labyrinth you weren't kidding" says Kairi as she summons her keyblade. Asta walks up ahead "Yep!" He happily said with no problem at all decapitates a dog, plant monster thing.

"Man this place is much less dangerous then the first dungeon I went into" happily says Asta as he decapitates another plant beast. The four then continue on through the dungeon down some stairs. "Do you think that we're gonna see anything interesting here" says Leo in a slightly bored tone as he blasts a plant beast. *"Well I think that this is interesting especially sense I'm with a new friend"* quietly says Gordon as Kairi turns to him quickly. "Oh sorry I forgot that you were there mister ahh?" Says Kairi feeling ashamed she forgot that he was there.

Gordon mutters quietly *"don't worry it always happens"* with Kairi sweat drop. Wild those two talk Asta and Leopold are walking up ahead to make sure there aren't traps. "So Asta what do you think of Kairi?" Asked Leo as he destroyed another plant monster that tried to get the jump on them. Asta thinks a bit while destroying some trap circles. "Hmm she's a nice person and really strong" says Asta with a smile on his face.

Leopold looks at him and smiles "alright then!" Yells Leo as he blast another monster before stopping in front of a door and using his arm to stop Asta from continuing further. Seeing this the others stop as well "Is there anything wrong?" Ask Kairi as she looks into the tunnel trying to seeing anything in the darkness. "It seems that there's something in there emitting a lot of magical energy" whispers Gordon close enough to Kairi for her to hear.

The girl noods as the ground walks to the tunnel. Everything seems normal except it completely black with Leopold even trying to used his magic to bring some light but it not working "Are you guys here?!" Screams Leopold from behind them "Yes anyway near me!" Screams Asta sounding far away from Kairi position, she looks around but even used her magic but no light can be made she Screams "Gordon you there!?!?" And suddenly she screams in fear when suddenly something touches her shoulders sending a wave of electricity to the person "ow" says the voice of Gordon in a pain tone.

Leopold looks around with both his hands lit. "What the hell! Asta, Kairi, Gordon are you ok?!" Yells Leo as he looks around. "Ahh!" Leo turns and runs to where the scream came from only to find both Kairi and Gordon unconscious. He checks their pulses to find them still alive. "What the heck happened?" Questions Leo as he gets up. He then hears a noise and turns around only to get sprayed in the face with some kind of gas. He falls to the ground knocked out. He suddenly opens his eyes and looks around to find himself in front of a mirror, his reflection shows that he's now older and wearing a tuxedo. "What the heck?" Says Leo as he door is suddenly opened and his brother and sister come in. "Come on Leo you can't keep him waiting" says Fuegoleon as he and Mereoleona grab his arms, lift him up and begin to walk outside the room into a fiery hellscape with turrets of fire blasting upwards at random moments. Leo tries to speak but no words come out of his mouth. He struggles in there grip but as usual he's can't budge his siblings grip so he sighs and closes his eyes. They stop walking and suddenly put Leo on his feet as he opens his eyes and sees that he's at a wedding and standing at the alter is a older Asta. Seeing him Leo runs as fast as he can reaching it in seconds. Asta takes his hands and looks straight into his eyes. "Hehehe looks like you finally made it" says Asta in a more mature voice. Marie comes up to the both of them with the rings on a pillow. Asta takes a ring and places it on Leo finger. "To us" says Asta as suddenly he gets engulfed in fire making Leo jump back in shock. He the. Notices everyone else as suddenly combusted and are now staring to surround him. He tries to defend himself by using his magic but it just gets absorbed into them making them bigger and stronger. They continue to close in on him he can see the faces of his friends and family burning away with looks of pain. As they get closer he stops resisting and let's them attack all dog piling on top of him and burning his skin, he shouts in and pain before his throat is burned away. He continues to burn more and more until the floor underneath him breaks away allowing him to fall through and escape the burning. As he's falling he looks up only for his eyes to widen in fear as a flaming version of Asta in his demon mode(the one winged version) flying straight at him with his demon destroyer sword drawn. Leo watches as he gets closer and closer the heat from his body beginning to burn him again. At the last moment Leo closes his eyes before there is a searing pain in his chest that forces his eyes open. He looks down to see the giant sword going straight through him like a knife on a piece of meat burning his insides. He tries to scream but it only brings more pain with his throat burned.

"God dammit now?!" screams the female who is mad and her other personality curses inside her head like crazy "why the fuck is that heartless here?! i thought Eonx killed it!!" she screams not really liking the news she got from her leader "i don't know but we need to kill it before it causes more damage than what we were permitted to do" she jumps between the trees trying to find it luckily it was near the mission of the brat and there target.

Back with the good guys

Kairi wakes up to find herself in a bed, she gets up and walks out of the door in front of her only to walk into a kitchen where Sora is in an apron cutting paopu fruit into pieces. Kairi runs up to him and tries to say something but Sora puts a piece of the fruit in her mouth before she can say anything. "Shhh just let the flavor take over" says Sora as Kairi begins to chew only for her to fall back onto the floor that breaks away having her fall into a tunnel of light with multiple squares showing different events such as her meeting Aqua, Sora fighting Maleficent, Riku giving into the darknesses until she lands on a white carpet. She looks up only to find herself at a wedding with Riku and Sora getting married with Riku in a brides dress kissing Sora in a tux. She tries getting up only to skyrocket into the air, breaking the sky as she flies through multiple worlds until she's grabbed out of the sky, placed on a chair and slapped in the face by everyone she knows who are all lined up waiting for their turn.

Kairi jolted awake as she looked around, seeing the unconscious body of Gordon next to her "Gordon hey guy Gordon!" She yells trying to wake him up but he doesn't respond, and then an idea pops into his head "I hope this works". She breathes in and out before summoning her keyblade and puts it in front of herself and whispers "Esuna" as a warm light spreads through Gordon's body.

Kairi then stands there for a bit waiting to see if anything happens and smiles as she sees Gordon's body jolt before he begins coughing, she then gets on her knees and lifts up his head as he slowly opens his eyes and looks around. "Gordon are you alright?" Ask Kairi as she gets up while helping Gordon. "I'm ok though I had this dream that started good but ended up turning into a nightmare" says Gordon.

Kairi then looks around and sees Leopold on the ground moving in discomfort with a panicked expression on his face. She quickly runs over before she begins shaking him. After doing this for a minute she stops and face palms before summoning her keyblade again and repeating the process she did with Gordon. Leopold stops moving and his face softens before he begins coughing and slowly opens his eyes causing Kairi to smile. "Thank goodness you're alright" says Kairi as she helps up the orange headed male. When suddenly she hears Gordon yell "Asta wake up!!" As suddenly they could hear a loud clang of metal. They look in that direction and see a sleeping asta attacking Gordon.
