After flying for about 5 minutes the two dragons landed around a lake where they saw a scavenger running from something in the darkness.
"Come on, run faster if we don't get there, who knows what will happen to us!" A small voice had said from the shadows.
"Hold up I cant run as fast as you gazi so slow down my flippers don't help with all this land you know" cried another voice
"Clay, I think there are other dragons around here." Tsunami had started getting into a defensive posture ready for a fight.
"I hear water gazi, I can soon go as fast as you!" the small voice shouted with joy.
"Ahhh"the scavenger screamed, finally realizing he was under a dragon.
Suddenly out of the shadows popped out a gray creature that kinda looked like a wolf but standing on two legs and with long ears. As well as a lizard with four tiny flippers, an orange fin on top of its head, it also had a white under belly, and green top side with blue stripes.
"Gazimon i dont think a coredramon and megadramon should be here?" the small reptile squeaked in fear.
"Betamon I know the water is right there but I think it's time to turn tail!" Gazimon said with a hint of fear in his voice trying to stay cool.
"Clay, can you hear them?" Tsunami whispered
"Why is the food talking?" Clay questioned
"No think Clay it talks it's intelligent. We could have our first conversation with things outside our cave!" Tsunami had said with the biggest smile on her face. "Hello little guys who and what are you?"
"Gazimon what do we do?" Betamon asked, still a bit scared.
"Look if they are not attacking, maybe they can help us with the whole running from the tyrannomon thing!" Gazimon shouted at Betamon. "Sorry about that coredramon but we have a problem with a rogue tyrannomon trying to kill us hehe."
"Core-dra-mon?" Tsunami questioned. "Who is that I have never heard of a seawing called coredramon?"
"Wait so you are not a digimon?" Betamon questioned.
"What's a digimon?" Clay questioned, trying to not want to eat the digimon.
"We are digimon digital monsters made of code" Both of the digimon say at the same time.
Suddenly from in the forest a large footstep could be heard from the forest and from behind them they could hear wings flapping in the distance. But with the closer danger from the forest.
"He is here, it's tyrannomon!" Betamon cried when he started to see the tyrannosaurid appear from the forest claws ready for and attack
"FIRE BREATH!" Tyrannomon shouted as he came into view.
Clay jumped and grabbed the digimon and took off into the air hoping that he would not be burned by the fire. Once they moved Betamon hopped into the water with Tsunami from Clay's back.
"I guess it's a fight then." Tsunami said, leaping out of the water rushing towards the red giant.
"SLASH CLAW!" Tyrannomon yelled as he swiped his left claw knocking Tsunami out of the sky.
"Tsunami!" Clay shouted as he started his assault .
"Betamon we have to help!" Gazimon said with confidence in his voice.
"Right" Betamon responded. "FIN CUTTER!" she shouted with her fin turning a bright blue and releasing a blue beam from it shooting towards Tyrannomon.
"ELECTRIC STUN BLAST!" Gazimon shouted as a yellow and purple beam came from out of his mouth hitting Tyrannomon in the gut.
"RAGH!" The large dinosaur growled as all four attacks hit him, bringing him down and grabbing Tsunami on the way down.
"Clay help me!" She shouted.
"Tsunami!" He cried as Tyranomon started to reach out for him and squeeze Tsunami trying to suffocate her.
"No run megadramon!" Betamon shouted to Clay.
"I'm not letting this be my fault that someone loses a friend!" Gazimon said, grabbing onto Clay's tail and back running up his spine and jumping off his snout.
"GAZIMON DIGIVOLVE TO…" could be heard from him as he got closer to Tyrannomon. Right then a bright flash of whitelight appeared around Gazimon as he started to grow and change, becoming about as big as clay and Tsunami. He started to change color to a tan and gained a mane as well as a dagger.
"LEOMON!" shouted as he emerged out of the light and took out the dagger swinging it towards Tyrannomon.
"LION SWORD!" he shouted as the blade cut right through Tyrannomon causing his data to explode as he vanished from view.
"WHA?!" The three of them said with amazement looking at Leomon's new size and power.
"Wait, what is this?" Clay asked as a device was attached to his wrist.
"It looks like some treasure to me." a loud booming voice started from the sky landing behind them "treasure that belongs to me mudwing, now hand it and the seawing over and there will be no problems."
"Who are you?" Leomon asked with his dagger drawn pointing at the large skywing with a gold chest plate. "Are you friend or foe?"
"That is none of your business prey now hand me the dagger whale you are at it" she demanded from Clay.
"No, I'm not giving you what other people own, we don't even know who you are." Clay tried to argue with the large dragon.
"I am queen Scarlet you fool queen of the skywings!" Scarlet bellowed.
She lunged at Clay's wrist trying to take the device off his wrist when Leomon grabbed hers first
"I don't think that would be a good idea miss queen." He commanded as he twisted her arm to the point where it almost broke.
"ARGH!" Scarlet cried out as she pulled away. "I won't let you get away with this stupid lion i will have your head mounted on my wall!"
"Leomon." He interrupted
"What?" Scarlet questioned him wondering what kind of word that was
"My name is Leomon." He boomed before she turned and flew off.
After scarlet had flown off Leomon had started to glow a bright yellow and turned back into Gazimon.
"Leomon or Gazimon can you tell me what this is?" Clay asked with confusion.
"I think that's a digivice which means you are a tamer so i guess that makes you and me partners now huh buddy." Gazimon said with a smile.
Suddenly around Tsunami's wrist a light appeared as Betamon slowly disappeared into thin air. But clay and gazimon could still see Her in their view. What had happened to Betamon was something they thought could happen but it did.
"What?" Tsunami said looking down at her wrist seeing the blue digivice on her wrist with Betamon's 8-bit figure on the screen. "When did I get this?"
"I guess Betamon picked you to be her tamer." Gazimon said with a grin.
"Yep I can tell that me and you will have a good time together and we are both excellent swimmers. So if you don't mind I'm going to stay with you right here ok." a voice said from somewhere but the two dragonets were looking for the familiar voice.
"Hehe in here guys on her wrist i can still talk when i'm in here." Betamon said with Gazimon rolling his eyes and the two dragonets looking surprised and fearful of what Starflight will think about this.
"That's it, I'm out of here." Gazimon said taping Clay's wrist going into the digivice turning it gray.
"Well let's go Clay, the others are waiting" Tsunami told Clay as she looked for the signal.
After the dragonets had found the signal they flew over to the mountain late at night, opening the door for the other dragonets to escape the cave in the morning.
"You guys, you did it!" Sunny called out to the two dragonets
"Congrats you are alive" Glory said ecstatic
"Give me a sec i need to get these out of here" Starflight had said not seeing the digivices.
Suddenly many skywings come out of the sky along with queen Scarlet. "There are the dragons that were with that monster that attacked me unprovoked!"
"Unprovoked you tried to take our stuff and his dagger!" Clay shouted
"Yeah just because i'm not there or Leomon anymore does not mean you can talk about me like that." Gazimon said from the digivice
"What was that?!" The four other dragons asked.
"Oh you should know that Scarlet is Leomon but he turned into a Gazimon" Clay told Scarlet.
"Then where is he?" Scarlet asked.
"We are not telling you Scarlet" Tsunami proclaimed as Betamon appeared and hid behind Tsunami.
"Well then I guess I'll have to take you all as prisoners then till I find and mount that damned creature!" Scarlet yelled at the dragonets and commanded the guards to get the dragonets and take the creature and strange sandwing to the place.
"Wait, can I at least have my scrolls?" Starflight asked.
"No now let's go you're going to the dungeon" One guard commanded
"But my scrolls I need those!" Starflight screamed like a hatchling when he was carried off.
In the heart of the skywing kingdom the palace was surrounded by guards of scarlet. but in one section of the place, made for Burn, was where a lot of oddities were held including some talking fire and a little talking bee.
