Chapter Two

'Fuck it's cold' Jamie couldn't help but think. Moving my arm to reach for a blanket and to my surprise my hand meet damp grass and what felt like clumpy sand. Scrunching my face in confusion for a moment before I shot straight up. Sitting up I couldn't help but looking around myself in shock and confusion. This most definitely wasn't in my room. I was in a forest somewhere, in the middle of a clearing to be exact. The clearing itself could have seen better days honestly. It looked like a tornado had come through it. Large ass boulders with cracks and pieces missing shattered throughout the entire clearing. Huge chunks of tree bark and large entire branches were scattered about. Hell what had felt like clumpy sand was Ash and it was everywhere! As if something had spontaneously combusted?

Especially where I sat, I shakily pushed myself up to stand and the first thing I noticed as I got off the ground? The fact that ground was way too fucking close...had I shrunk? Looking at my hands and confusion, I could see that my hands were absolutely covered in ash but that wasn't the damn problem!

My hands were small, tiny as shit and far smaller then I last remembered.

My hands being covering ash triggered my memory. I had been getting ready to do a few cosplay videos and then...Fuck The bookshelf! Pain! Smoke!

What had happened to me!

I turned around to look around myself and noticed white hair following my movements.

...The fuck was my wig still on? After all that shit? I reached up to pull it off but instead of the slight pain, from pulling off lightly glued down lace. I felt the familiar pain of my hair being pulled...

"What the fuck!?"

My hands were shaking slightly in panic, "no no no no no I have to be imagining things! Shit if I ain't going crazy!" I shouted out to myself and panic and fear. In the resounding silence after that shout. I could hear the slight gurgle and fall of water from a river. Thinking quick I went into the direction of the sound.

Water means I can see what the hell was going on with me!

Leaving the small clearing behind I walked for a few moments before coming upon the river I had hear moments before. There was a good sizeboulder sitting at the edge of the river. It didn't look sharp and uncomfortable or have a fuck ton of moss sticking to it. I climbed up to check my reflection in the river and clean the ash from my hands but I couldn't do anything but stare.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?!"

Jamie could see her reflection but it wasn't her reflection. It was her face as she remembered but smaller and rounder. Jamie realized she had indeed shrunk! She looked to be almost a seven to eight year old child. When last Jamie could recollect, she had been a 22 year old woman! And just like she had feared! The wig that Jamie had worn was now truly her hair! Gone was brown curly hair that fell down to her shoulders, oftentimes in an Afro of mess. Instead was white long curly hair that reached to the mid of her back. Gone was Jamie's beautiful hazel eyes that made her look so much like her mother! Instead dark blackish gray eyes stared back at her.

"What the hell?!"Jamie said out loud as she washed the ash from her hands and face. she realized she was still wearing her cosplay of Kaneki's ghoul outfit. The tight black and white backless bodysuit and thigh high stockings were still on. As well as Kaneki's one eyed mask that hung around her neck at the moment.

"Damn it! What the hell is going on!" I said to myself. Stepping away from the river for a moment, I shivered slightly in the cold. Luckily I had put on Kaneki's black jacket before I started my cosplay videos. I thought as I zipped up the jacket. I usually put on the two large jacket when in kaneki's cosplay because it's always kind of cold in my apartment. Plus the bottom of the bodysuit was short as hell, so it definitely didn't help with the whole keeping warm thing. Hold the fuck up the jacket! I remembered putting my phone in my pocket!

Jamie reached into her pocket pulling out her phone. The screen was cracked but it still worked! The only problem? No service whatsoever, turning her phone off to conserve the battery she put it back into her pocket.

"fuck man"I muttered in agitation, as I ran my hand through the now shocking white curls on my head. Looking back into the river I stared at my reflection. It was me but wasn't me at the same time. It was fuckin weird, my eyes didn't hurt at all. My eyes usually start to hurt after a little while wearing contacts. But it was as if I didn't even need my glasses anymore.

Turning away from the unnerving image of Jamie's reflection that was hers but not, she decided to follow the small river downstream. Downstream usually meant there's a lake, when there's was a lake, there's a town and in a Town there was people.

Maybe I could find a clue to how I ended up here because this most definitely was not a Texas forest. It was too mossy and wet for Texas weather.

Texas was mostly very dry, hot and humid and the trees for the matter was the wrong kind.

It wasn't the calm and savory smell of Cedar and Birch, that Jamie grew up with and knew by heart. This was a strong and pungent smell. 'Pine' her mind supplied the name of the trees that were spread out around her. They were huge towering far above Jamie, nearly blocking out the sun from reaching the ground.

The air was heavy with mist and recent rain. Jamie followed the river stepping over fall logs of wood here and there. Being careful not to slip on the mossy rocks and wet mud, Jamie was glad that she had put on her boots. She often used this pair for cosplay videos that she did inside. She also often used them cuz, they gave her a few extra inches of height.

A short while after following the river she was able to make out a road through the trees.

"Finally a sign of civilization" I muttered. I walked through the trees over to the almost gravely old road and start to follow it and slowly I could make out a sign down the road. Speeding up a bit to make it out easier, till I stopped before it with my hands on my hips reading the words out loud. "Forks Washington population: 3,862...huh I swear that sounds familiar" I gave a slight laugh filled of nervousness.

Before my eyes widened in realization and absolute shock "Fuck!" I shouting in fear. Twirling around to look at my surroundings of large towering trees and an old well-used road.

Out of everywhere I could have been I would have tooken being in Tokyo ghoul more than stupid Twilight...

Actually... I took that back Twilight was safer then Tokyo ghoul.

Letting out a slight sign of annoyance I begin walking down the road, past the large wooden sign further down into Forks Washington.

Hoping out of everything that an crazy serial killer or murderous trucker, doesn't kill me first before I could get to the town.
