"Hey, wake up!" A voice says as Starflight wakes up to see a group of dragonets kind of like his but with a skywing.
"Who are you?" Starflight asks as he gets up holding his head as his vision slowly unblurs he sees a dark purple dragonet staring at him.
"I'm Fatespeaker, the wings of night in the prophecy! You must be from the diversion group that escaped then. Tell me what the outside world is like?" Fatespeaker asked as the other dragonets looked at Starflight with eyes of jealousy and anger.
"Star, should I make myself known to others?" Hagurumon asked on the digivice's screen.
"Hey, what's that thing on your wrist?" Fate asked as Starflight hid the digivice with his talons.
"Nothing, just something my friends made for me." Starflight said with a hint of anger till a loud thud with familiar faces coming from around a corner.
"See the kid is right there as you asked boss." Wingdramon said as Marrowseer entered the room standing at the same height as the massive Digimon.
"Fine Starflight, come with me we have much to talk about." Morrowseer said as the two dragons walked out of the cave and flew away.
Back with Glory things were going as well as they could for a dragon trapped in a cell alone with a bundle of hyperactive rainwing next to her.
"So you're telling me that the flower can move and change?" Kinkajou said as Glory just kept smiling.
"Yes and that gave me an idea on how to get out of here." Glory said signaling for Kinkajou to hide as she made a distraction making a lot of noise till a guard came into the cell.
"SWEET SCENT!" Floramon said as the guard calmed down and was eventually knocked out.
"Ok let's get out of here Floramon. Kinkajou, you take the keys and get anyone else out." Glory said as she ran out, going invisible to not be detected as she moved by many Nightwing guards. Once she got out of the cave she found another that had something that she could use as a map. This prison was an island that the Nightwing were living on with one massive volcano and many tunnels that led out one of which was the rainforest. "That's ok time to head back." Glory thought as she turned around to go to the cave. Once glory got back to her, and Floramon paralyzed the other guards they went to check Kinkajou's progress on freeing the other rainwings.
"Oh hey, Glory could you help me with this?'' Kinkajou said from the cell with another rainwing.
"Sure, hand me the keys to the cell." Glory said as Kinkajou tossed her the keys.
"Thank you for this girls you could have left us to die but at least you care." the older rainwing said as Glory opened the cell and started with the shackles on the dragon's ankles and wing clamps.
"No need to thank me, it's just what I do." Glory said as she finished up with that dragon's chains. "Stay invisible till I give the clear, then follow me to the exit ok."
"Ok, I have to get back to my family before they know I'm gone." The older rainwing said as he walked out going into the cloak.
Once Glory and Kinkajou finished setting the others free, the Nightwing who had been knocked out by the attack from floramon was waking up till one of the rainwings knocked him back out with a rock.
"Ok let's go, all of you just follow me. I'll have my tail shown so you can follow it now let's go before they get unstuck." Glory said as she flew out of the cave with the others behind her. After flying to the exit cave she noticed something unusual in the sky above them: Morrowseer and Starflight flying above them.
Starflight hearing the flapping wings looked down and saw nothing after that he knew rainwings were here. "Morrowseer, what's the point of the second group?" Starflight asked as a distraction.
"They are your replacement for a good Nightwing leader." Morrorseer said, giving a glance at Starflight. "They are also going to be forced with a Digimon partner for such plans, mostly Dorumon that will go through the Death-X process."
"Death-X?" Starflight asked as Morrowseer rolled his eyes.
"Death-X or DEX is a way that the Dorumon specifics should not evolve but it's caused when a Dorumon dies and still digivolves like an undead. My son had one of these and we found a way to reenact it so now they can be mass-produced." Morrowseer said as he flew down into a cave with a massive opening.
"Son, what son?" Starflight asked as he grew steadily angrier.
"My son or I guess you would call him the prince of the Nightwing, Starshot found his partner on this island and was the first dragon I know of with a Digimon partner, one that we experimented on for years. Till he left the island in a rage and I have not seen him after he left, not even when going to get info on your group." Morrowseer said as they walked into a lab of some sort. "MASTERMIND!" He yelled as a Nightwing smaller than himself popped out from behind a machine that starflight could recognize as a basic computer or steam engine from a book from Dion's place.
"Ah Morrowseer, good to see you, who is that you brought with you?" Mastermind asked to move his helmet off his head.
"This is Starflight, your son," Morrowseer told the scientist.
"Wow look at him! He has gotten so big, maybe one day he will be as big as you, Morrowseer!" Mastermind said hugging his son as Starflight just stood there.
"So if you are my dad then why did you let him take me here?" Starflight asked as Hagurumon appeared behind him spinning his gears faster than ever.
"Oh, a Solarmon but dull in color?" Mastermind said, looking at Hagurumon's shape and color.
"I'm not a Solarmon, I'm Hagurumon." Hagurumon said as a Solarmon appeared behind Mastermind.
"Ah sorry but as you can see I have my partner here Solarmon he helps with most of my machine work. Thanks to him we are the leading tribe in technology!" Mastermind said as solarmon just floated there silent.
"Why did you let him take me?" Starflight asked once more as Mastermind walked away talking about the machine he was making till Starflight shot up again with the question. "FATHER WHY WOULD YOU LET THE TALONS TAKE ME FROM MY FAMILY FOR YEARS!?" He shouted and almost as if it was nothing of importance Mastermind just stood there silent.
"I did what was right and now it comes to nip me in the ass whatever I could always clear up loose ends. Plus I was going to find you after the war son, but I guess Morrowseer was right." Mastermind said looking at his hands crying. "I guess our family is a failure and I don't deserve the right of what I have."
"Look, I don't care about our family's past, all I care about is why I was sold off." Starflight said as he looked down.
"So I could keep my partner safe and with me." Mastermind said, tearing up.
"Fine if you want your Digimon then keep him because me and Hagurumon are out." Starflight said as they walked out of the room with Groundramon and Wingdramon blocking the exit.
"Sir the rainwings have escaped!"A Nightwing guard said as Morrowseer and Mastermind rushed out to the prisons.
"That's our queue to leave Hagurumon." Starflight said as they left the castle and the island.
Back with glory, who was gone for long enough that the other dragonets had left the village to search for her, and only just barely got back from a non-stop search and heard the mass of wings flapping in the distance.
"Tell me that's her." Clay said as glory flew into the village.
"Yeah it is me Clay and I brought back a few friends." Glory said as the rainwings had uncovered themselves and resumed life as normal as if nothing ever happened. "Now let's go talk to the queen of the rainwings. We need to have a chat." Glory said, turning a vibrant red.
"What do you think happened to her?" Tsunami asked as Glory stormed to the queen's throne room.
Back with Starflight who had retreated to the cave with the dragonets of destiny or group B as he called them. "Hey if you want to be the savior of this world then go ahead because I dont think I'm set on doing this." Starflight said, shooting his eyes around looking for something.
"Well good now we can get some good combat training against a target we can kill." the Mudwing said as he and the skywing got up looking ready to pounce on Starflight.
"I don't think you will be hurting him anytime soon." Hagurumon said from the digivice.
"Oh yeah? We have killed many Digimon like you so I would like to see you try to take us on metal brain." The Mudwing said as we grabbed Starflight by the wrist.
As Hagurumon digivolve to Guardromon and punched the Mudwing a laugh could be heard from a Sandwing in the back of the cave. "Leave us alone Ogre just because I'm meant to be your partner does not mean I have to be." Gaurdromon said as an attack is called out.
"Fox Tail Inferno!" Was called as bright blue fire appeared then was thrown at them. "Unhand him Guardromon." could be heard from the darkness.
"Kyubimon, why are you defending him for what he is doing?" Gaurdromon asked, pointing his arm in her direction.
"Because he is part of the fatespeaker's team." Kyubimon said as Fatespeaker came up and hugged Starflight.
"Could you please call him off?" Fate asked as Starflight looked at her and flung her off of him.
"Guardromon you have full authority to kill whoever tries to hurt me or you in this room." Starshot said with Guardromon nodding his head and looking back at Ogre in his hand.
"I'm afraid the killing of these is not needed Starflight, but I'll take them off your hands." A familiar voice called out as portals opened around the cave.
"Starshot!" Starflight called out as the dragons peered out of the hole staring down group B.
"I've been looking for new playmates for Dex and these should work soon. You will join us into the madness of combat." Starshot said as he slid back into the hole with the skywing.
"Fox Tail Inferno!" Kyubimon shouted as Starshot disappeared and was replaced by DexDoruGreymon.
"Bloody Cave!" DexDoruGreymon shouted, defecting the attack and threw her into a portal then left towards Fatespeaker who looked up at Starflight.
"Help us." She said as Starflight had a realization, but before he could say anything Starshot spoke up.
"I'll see you soon oh and tell my father that soon his old rival will meet him again." Starshot said as he closed the last portal by clicking something in his hand.
"Gaurdomon lets go we have to get back to the rainforest." Starflight said as Gaurdromon turned back into Hagurumon and hid in the digivice as they made their escape.
