Seth froze in his tracks. He watched the woman who had just crossed the street. She was walking further ahead, heading in the same direction he was heading in. She hadn't seen him and that was probably for the better.

Despite not having seen her in about a year and only having met her that one time, he knew it was her. He recognized her despite her wearing sunglasses. Those dark sunglasses hid a pair of cruel, ice blue eyes that went well with her black hair. Black as her heart, black as her soul, all blackness inside. She was a cruel woman he wished he could erase from his memories.

"Fuck me," he whispered.

The woman turned the corner further ahead. That woke him up. He had to get a hold of her. She was alone this time around. He could handle her alone. He was still angry what she and her two friends had put him through. He was going to drag her to the nearest police station and make her pay. He sprinted down the street and turned the corner. She was gone. Like she had just vanished in thin air.

"No way," he whispered. "It was her. She was right here. I know it."

He walked down the street and looked in through the shop windows he passed. She had to be there somewhere. All while he thought back to that day a year ago.

Seth froze when he felt the knife against his throat. One moment he had been locking his car, next moment some psychopath was behind him.

"Easy there, tiger," she said.

He was surprised to find a female voice. It was followed by a couple of male voices chuckling.

"Don't kill him, Malvina," one of the men said.
"I won't. Yet. How much money do you have, tiger?" She asked.
"I got money," Seth said. "Lots of them. You can have it all."
"Escort him, boys," she said.

The two chuckling men grabbed him. He finally got to look at the three people. The woman freaked him out the most. Those ice blue eyes were amused. There was a smirk on her face, and the knife was big. The two blonde men with her yanked him around a corner and over to at ATM.

"Let's see what you got, tiger," she said.

He put his credit card in the ATM and she whistled.

"Damn, boys. We're eating lobster tonight," she laughed. "Take out the biggest amount it'll allow you to."
"Can we talk about this?" He asked.

The knife was back against his throat in a second. Clearly they could not talk about it.

"Now!" She barked.

He quickly took out all the money he could and handed it to her. She smirked again, took the money, and finally moved the knife away. He turned his head and looked at her. He was still scared that she might decide to take his life in the process.

"Thank you, tiger," she said. "Have a nice evening."

All three of them laughed as they ran away. He started shaking and crying. At least they hadn't taken his phone so he could call the police and report it.

After having passed three shops, Seth stopped and sighed. Maybe he had been seeing things. It was just weird after all this time to suddenly imagine seeing her. It wasn't like he was still lying sleepless at night. He had gotten over it. At least so he thought until this moment.

He shook his head and chuckled at himself. He had spooked himself. There was no point in him continuing searching the street. She wasn't there. He turned around and froze. She was right there in front of him. She smirked and reached up to remove her sunglasses. Those ice blue eyes freaked him out once again.

"Hi, Seth," she said.
"Malvina," he said lowly.
"You remember my name. I'm flattered," she said.
"How do you know my name?" He asked.

She sighed and her smirk dropped. She actually looked remorseful. Something he didn't think she had in her.

"Can we go somewhere to talk?" She asked.
"I'm not going anywhere with you," he said.
"Somewhere public. You get to decide where. It's just me, Seth. Those blonde bitches aren't in my life anymore," she said.
"Fine," he nodded. "There's a coffee shop close by. It's always crowded."
"Lead the way," she said.
