After a good nap and before Elizabeth went to school, she went to visit Fox in prison. She sat behind the glass.
"I'm looking to get an early parol." Fox said as they sat talking.
"You been doing good so far. I'm sure they will grant it as long as you don't mess up." Elizabeth said.
"I was hoping you can put a good word in. I know I held a gun to you head, but you forgave me." Fox said.
"Fox. You and I been friends for a long time. I'll put a good word in for sure. I hope your brother didn't tell you to ask me." Elizabeth said.
"He didn't. I promise." Fox said.
"Well I should get going. I got class." Elizabeth said.
"My brother said your seeing someone. Is it one of them?" Fox asked. She wasn't surprised her brother said something.
"It is. You met him." Elizabeth said with a smirk.
"The one that was protective of you. You seem happy." Fox said.
"I am. I take it your still talking and seeing my brother." Elizabeth said. She didn't miss the gleam in Fox's eyes. "Thought so. I'll put the word in and maybe when you get out we can do lunch."
"Sounds like a plan." Fox said. Carina left to head to class for the afternoon. She was drained by the time the class was over and she headed back to the clocktower and slipped up the stairs to the clock tower. Carina sat on the couch with one of the books she was reading as she turned on the tv. She started reading.
"Breaking news. The Pack has escaped from prison." Travis said. Elizabeth looked up fast.
"What?!" Elizabeth said. The news showed like a metal Coyote attacking guards. Elizabeth rubbed her temple. Just what she needed was finding out that the Pack was now out of jail.
"Seems that the only one that didn't escape was their leader, Fox." Travis said. Elizabeth was surprised on that but Fox wanted out of jail and escaping would put her in the most wanted.
"You heard?" Elisa asked, coming up the steps.
"It was just announced on the news." Elizabeth said.
"Fox is still in there. Did your talk with her go well?" Elisa asked.
"It did. I told her to stay out of trouble and she asked me to put a good word in for an early parol." Elizabeth said.
"That is a surprise but you did reconnect. I still wouldn't trust her." Elisa said.
"I know, but she's been doing good. I will. I think her staying while her team left will give her pointers." Elizabeth said. Elisa nodded in agreement. Roars filled the air and the two turn. The Gargoyles came down the steps. They stopped when they saw the girls worried looks.
"What is it, Elisa. Liz?" Goliath asked.
"Bad news, I'm afrad." Elisa said.
"The Pack has escaped from Rikers Island." Elizabeth said.
"What?" Lexington yelled. Brooklyn rubbed his ear.
"Oh, nice wake up call." Brooklyn said.
"We got to track them down now. Before the trail gets cold." Lexington said. Goliath put hands on Elisa's shoulders.
"How did it happen?" Goliath asked.
"Dingo and somebody dressed in black took them out quick and clean." Elisa said. Lexington was dancing in his spot. He hadn't forgiven the Pack for using him.
"What are we waiting for? Let's get moving." Lexington said. He runs up the steps. Brooklyn and Broadway turn towards him. Elizabeth came up to Brooklyn's side.
"Where do we start? Manhattan's a lot bigger castle than the one we're use to protecting." Broadway said. Lexington turns and starts walking backwards up the steps to the door.
"The Packmedia Studios. They'll go back to it like snakes to a nest. And I'll be waiting for them." Lexington said. He jumps on his perch as everyone runs to the door.
"Lexington wait." Goliath called.
"The Studio is the first place we're checking." Elisa said. Brooklyn and Elizabeth ran up to Lexington.
"Ok, Lex. You, Liz, and me. We'll check it out." Brooklyn said, jumping up beside him. Lexington smiled and nodded. Bronx came up to them, low growling and Elizabeth smiled as she stood next to Brooklyn. "You want to come too, Bronx?" Bronx jumped with excitement. Brooklyn wrapped his arm around Elizabeth's waste and Lexington and him grabbed Bronx and took off. Elizabeth kept an a arm around Brooklyn as they flew.
"I get a feeling we are being led into a trap." Elizabeth said. Brooklyn nodded. They flew till they landed on a roof near PackStudios. Brooklyn set Elizabeth and Bronx down. Policecars surround the studio.
"Looks like we're not the only ones who figured they'd be here." Brooklyn said.
"The police can have them after I'm through with them." Lexington. Elizabeth and Brooklyn shared looks.
"Look, Lex. I know how you feel. You trusted them and they used you. Nearly got you and Goliath killed. I feel the same way. Every time somebody mentions Demona." Brooklyn said. Elizabeth put a hand on Brooklyn's shoulder. He smiled at her. "But you can't let it consume you. You need to remember what's really important. Family, protecting our home."
"You have your priorities and I have mine." Lexington said. Elizabeth shook her head.
"I got to tell you, Lex. You're starting to worry me." Elizabeth said. Brooklyn nodded in agreement.
"Look." Lexington said, pointing. The cop cars drove away.
"Guess its a no show." Brooklyn said.
"Weird." Elizabeth said.
"I'm checking it out." Lexington said. He took off.
"Come on, Bronx, Liz. No sense staying up here where its safe." Brooklyn said. Elizabeth climbed onto Brooklyn's back as he picked up Bronx and took off after Lexington. They landed on a roof and broke in. They landed on the floor. Brooklyn set Elizabeth down and they look around. "Nobody home. Happy now?" Brooklyn crossed his arms as Elizabeth looked around. Lexington sighed.
"Maybe your right." Lexington said. Bronx started sniffing.
"What is it, boy." Elizabeth said as Bronx started growling. Elizabeth had a bad feeling. The floor started shaking and knocked the four to the ground. They let out yells as they hit the ground and a light showed through the ground. They sat up as the ground started to move. Brooklyn held an arm out to Elizabeth. The light blinded them and Elizabeth looked away. A ship comes through the floor and lands on the floor.
"Fudge monkey's they were hiding." Elizabeth said. A hatch opens and Wolf appeared in the light.
"Now they know how to make an entrance." Brooklyn said. Wolf comes down and smirks at the four. Brooklyn had to stop Lexington from attacking the Pack. "Wait we need a plan." The rest of the Pack come onto the hatch and Elizabeth gritted her teeth. Lexington hits Brooklyn sending him flying into Elizabeth. Both grunt and hit the ground. Lexington flies at Wolf and knocks him to the ground. Bronx nudged Brooklyn and Elizabeth as they got up. "Oh yeah. Nice plan. Let's go!" Elizabeth, Brooklyn, and Bronx charge at the Pack. Elizabeth kicks Hyena as Jackal threw Bronx off the ship. Jackal runs and kicks Brooklyn as he fights Brooklyn. Hyenna dives out of one of Elizabeth's punches and comes around and wraps her arms around Elizabeth's neck and holds her in place. Bronx and Dingo were fighting. Brooklyn taps Hyenna on the shoulder. Elizabeth smirked as Hyenna looked and Brooklyn punched her off Elizabeth.
"Thank you." Elizabeth said. Elizabeth saw the Coyote come up the roof of the ship as Jackal takles Brooklyn and Lexington faced Wolf. Dingo was able to knock Bronx off. Elizabeth ran at Hyenna and tackled her before she could help her brother with Brooklyn. "We got some unfinished business Hyenna."
"Yes we do." Hyenna kicks Elizabeth off her and Elizabeth lands on her feet. Bronx jumps on Coyote and grabs his arm. Coyote sends him flying and into a wall, knocking him out. Elizabeth and Hyenna were struggling with each other holding hands, trying to stop the other from punching. Elizabeth knees Hyenna hard in the stomach and Brooklyn punches her, sending her flying. Jackal looked mad as he came to his sisters defence.
"That's no way to treat a lady." Jackal said.
"That was no lady." Brooklyn growled. A metal disk hits Brooklyn that Dingo threw at him. Electric goes through him.
"Brooklyn!" Elizabeth cried out as Brooklyn fell to the ground. Jackal ran at her while she was distracted and punches her, knocking her out and she hit the ground, next to Brooklyn. Both knocked out cold. Lexington fooled with Wolf till he motioned for Wolf to come at him. Wolf dives and Lexington moves, sending Wolf into the ground. Lexington smirks.
"You miserable lizard. I'll turn you inside out." Wolf said. He goes in for a punch, Lexington dodges and goes in for a punch. Wolf dodges. Coyote jumped in front of Lexington and brings up a lazer. He sends like a radar at Lexington. Lexington yells as everything starts to spin for him. He falls to the ground next to Brooklyn and Elizabeth.
"Nighty Night." Jackal said with a laugh. "Don't let the bed bugs bite." The Pack smirked as they looked at their vitims.
Elizabeth groaned as she woke up laying on a metal form.
"Your awake. Was starting to worry." Brooklyn said as she sat up.
"Ouch. I got a massive headache. Jackal punches me hard after you were taken down." Elizabeth said. Bronx ran to the wall and started scratching at the wall. Lexington was out cold yet. Elizabeth stood up. Brooklyn started pounding at the floor. Lexington groaned as he woke up and sat up.
"Solid steel and i don't know how many feet thick. No way we're getting out." Brooklyn said. Elizabeth had a feeling that the door above probably was chained shut. The Pack wasn't that stupid.
"We're probably locked in from the outside as well." Elizabeth said. Lexington got up and came up to Brooklyn.
"We almost had 'em." Lexington said, angrily.
"Oh, yeah, yeah. They were begging for mercy. How come whenever you and I take Bronx out. We wind up like this?" Brooklyn said, pointing to Bronx.
"Why do I always end up in trouble with any of you." Elizabeth said, with a sigh. Bronx stops scratching and lets out a sad growl.
"Don't worry, Bronx. Goliath will find us." Brooklyn said.
"I don't need Goliath's help. I can take them by myself." Lexington said, eyes glowing white. He runs up to the wall and starts banging on it.
"Lex, you're not off to a great start." Brooklyn said. Elizabeth came up to Brooklyn.
"I don't think he's gonna listen." Elizabeth said. Brooklyn let out a sigh as he put an arm around Elizabeth.
"I think your right there. Hopefully Goliath comes soon." Brooklyn said as Lexington continued his pounding. Suddenly they heard fighting above.
"They are here. Let's go up." Elizabeth said. Brooklyn let Elizabeth climb on his back and they started climbing up the side. They heard a clang and some light through a hole. Lexington jumps through the hole and Brooklyn right behind him. Elizabeth jumped off his back. Hyenna had her back and was about to attack Broadway when Elizabeth tapped her on the shoulder. Hyenna turned and Elizabeth punched her in the face. Lexington and Dingo were fighting. Hyenna got up and faced Elizabeth. An explosion came sending them flying. Elizabeth looked up and eyes widen seeing the deck on fire. A figure jumps to the deck in her sight. She gasped as the Coyote turned and he had her brother's face.
"David. Your responsible for this!" Elizabeth shout, standing up. Xanatos smiles at his sister.
"Good to see you too, little sister." Xanatos said. She grit her teeth. Goliath jumps down and they started fighting. Hyenna lunges at Elizabeth, knocking her to the ground and they started rolling on the ground punching and fighting. Broadway was fighting Dingo with Hudson. Elizabeth put her feet on Hyena's stomach and kicked her off, sending her flying into the wall. Lexington threw Jackal away. Dingo pointed a gun at Lexington and Elizabeth. Broadway grabbed the gun and bent it in half. Broadway sent Dingo flying. Bronx ran as Goliath was fighting Xanatos and tackled Xanatos to the ground. Elizabeth gasped as Bronx grabbed him by the head and ripped the face right off.
"Bronx." Elizabeth called. Coyote sent Bronx flying off him and stood up gripping his face. He turned and everyone gasped. "Oh my gosh." Half Xanatos's face was robot. "He's a robot." Coyote goes running and Lexington takes aim with one of the guns and blows a hole through his chest. He crawls.
"I will have my revenge." Xanatos said. Goliath jumps and kicks the robot, breaking the head from his body. The Gargoyles and Elizabeth turned on the pack. Elizabeth stood with her hands on her hips.
"Whose next?" Lexington asked, holding up the gun as the Gargoyles smirked at the Pack. The Pack turn to look. The ship was on fire. The Pack make a run for it. "NO!" Lexington runs for the railing. The ship rises in the sky. An explosion sent Lexington flying and then another sent Brooklyn flying into a metal pole.
"Brooklyn!" Elizabeth called, running towards him as he fell to the ground and started sliding off the edge. She grabbed his leg and was struggling to pull him up. Lexington saw the struggle. He wanted to shoot the ship down but Elizabeth was being pulled towards the edge. Lexington ran over and grabbed Brooklyn's leg and helped Elizabeth pull him back on the boat. "Thanks Lex." A blast comes and Elizabeth turns to see the robot head of her brother fly off into the air. "They all got away." Brooklyn shakes his head to wake up as more explosions from the boat came. The boat started to rock as the ship filled up. Elizabeth almost fell, but Brooklyn caught her. They were sliding towards the fire. "We need to fly." Elizabeth clutched Brooklyn's arm.
"Your right." Brooklyn said as the ship started sinking. Brooklyn quickly scooped up Elizabeth and flew off with the others. Bronx was stuck on the ship. Goliath swooped around as Bronx howled is distress and picked him up. Elizabeth sighed in relief as she held onto Brooklyn as he flew next to Lexington. "Thanks for saving my bacon before it got fried." Elizabeth smiled.
"Hey, I'm used to it. Besides, it helped me get my priorities straight." Lexington said. Elizabeth smiled as she kissed Brooklyn on the check.
"I'm glad you two aren't fighting." Elizabeth said. Brooklyn smiled as he flew with the others to the clock tower.
As the sun rose, Elizabeth stood by the door as the Gargoyles turned to stone. Her phone beeped and it was her brother letting her know Fox would be released from jail on an early patrol for helping a cop. Elizabeth smiled, happy for her friend. She turned to head back into the room to get some sleep after a long day.
