He was there. Feeling her electrifying chakra. Something is burning inside both of them. Fire is about to start. They could feel it. She stood at the entrance for a moment, calming herself down. It has been very long months since she was here, since she saw him last. Her heart was about to burst out of her ribcage. She moved slowly inside under the trees. Until she came into sight.
He was unmoving, just watching with predatory eyes. Gleaming with ecstasy. Sharingan active and tomoe spinning. After what he knew about her, he couldn't stop himself from feeling the euphoria at her sight. She stopped a few feet away. Her heart was pounding, blushing, biting her lower lip and her eyes focused on him.
"Your chickens missed you," he said in the deepest sexy voice.
She smirked, face down, looked up a little under her bangs in a mischievous glance "and their rooster?"
He was so fast. Her back hit softly the pillar behind her. His body trapped hers. Feet away from the ground. One knee between her legs.
He bends on her neck. His breath was sending shivers down her spine. "He missed you..so much" and he devoured her sensitive spot under her ear. She gasped. He went down kissing her neck and licking her throat. She in disbelief wrapped her arms around his neck. Is this one of her dreams or reality? His hand touched her waist and curves.
"aah.. I missed him too... so, so much," She said, lifting her leg around his waist. She couldn't take it, she wanted more. She could feel his excitement at her core. He kneaded her bosom and licked her collarbone.
She was moaning with pleasure; it was too much to handle. It burned between her thighs and she couldn't take it. She grinded against his hardened clothed shaft. He was elevated, she was inviting him to do more, to give her more, to pleasure her womanhood. He cursed and shifted his hip to touch her centre better. What is she doing? How could she be disloyal to Naruto? With his best friend? How could she betray his trust? The tears rolled from her eyes. She was disgusted with herself. She was so embarrassed by her behaviour.
"Sasuke-Kun... Please...stop...stop." She pleaded softly. He lifted his head to look into her eyes. Her face was wet with tears rolling from her eyes. He was so confused. He put her slowly down.
He felt embarrassed about his behaviour too. He grits his teeth with anger at himself. " I'm... I'm so...so sorry" he was stuttering, Sasuke never stuttered. He looked down in shame, turned and walked away.
She stood there for a moment; head bent down. Tears rolling non-stop. She was frozen. She didn't know what to do or where to go.
She can't go home and face Naruto. She can't admit what she did. She can't lie to him either. She never lied to Naruto. She never hides anything from him. What if he discovered it on his own, what would she say? She went slowly home.
She sends a message to Hanabi, to leave Boruto there for the night. She went home rolled in her bed and gave herself to endless sobs until she passed out asleep.
In the morning Naruto left early like most days. But tonight, she'll tell him. She can't live with this guilt.
She heard the doorbell. It was Hanabi bringing back Boruto. He missed his mother and fussed all night. Hanabi noticed her sister's puffy red eyes. She lied and told her she is probably getting the flu.
After a while, the doorbell rang again. She doesn't want to see anyone. Why can't they leave her alone?
It was Sasuke Uchiha.
He didn't sleep all night. He analyzed everything that happened with Hinata. It wasn't an ordinary attraction. Everything about it was out of this world. The desire was electrifying. Both felt it. They were on fire; they barely could stop.
But he never forgot she wasn't his. Not officially, not in flesh and blood. But her heart and soul were his. He knows it. He is certain of it. He couldn't kiss her on the lips, how much he wanted to. For a promiscuous Uchiha, he is one with boundaries. He would never have sex with her while she was somebody else's wife.
But he could never stop what they did. It was meant to be. They were lost souls who found each other at last. She wanted him. She moaned and arched at his touch. She wrapped her legs around his waist. And she g... How could they stop? They were both on the edge. How much loyalty does she have to stop herself and him at this point?
What would she do? Would she tell Naruto? He believed she was naive enough to do it. She is too innocent. She would never live with the guilt of what she did. He knows her.
He must talk to her. He must confess his feelings and make her leave Naruto and be with him. There is nothing between her and Naruto for sure. His blond friend told him that the relationship between them is not as before. They haven't had sex for a long time. She claims she is always too tired.
Sasuke thinks she is just not in love with Naruto as she was before. She has a new feeling for him instead which is why she is avoiding her husband.
"Did you tell Naruto?" He asked after he closed the door behind him. She was looking to the ground
"No". He came closer " are you going to?". "Yes," she answers coldly. "Why?" He knows why.
"Sasuke-Kun I can't do this, I'm not that kind of woman! I'm loyal to my husband." She answered with tears polling in her eyes again.
"This is all my fault. We could have been together if I didn't leave years ago. We could have lived happily together in our house. We could have a lot of children around us. But I lost my chance of happiness with you. I left you... to him." He grits his teeth. It Is impossible for an Uchiha to admit his fault. He was just honest with himself.
She was startled by the thought. Everything he said was true. She was losing faith in Naruto's love after he didn't answer her, after Pain's attack. She was attached to Sasuke, and they became friends. She even made him a Pancho. But he left her. She understood back then. But now she feels regret that she let him go.
If he stayed, they would be together. She would have her love Sasuke. She would enjoy life with him by her side. She would live in her favourite house. Surrounded by her plants and garden. Having a gorgeous Uchiha child. She never thought about it before. But she loved the prospect.
He came even closer. " Hinata, I came to realise, I want you in my life. What we had yesterday wasn't ordinary, believe me. It meant a lot to me. It showed how much desire we have for each other. And I want to feel that desire every single day. I know you want me as much as I want you. You have to leave Naruto." He spoke his heart out. The ball is on her side now.
She thought for a moment about what to say. Her lips shivered from the overwhelming emotions. "What about your wife?"
"I'll leave her," he answered quickly.
"I can never leave Naruto" she announced shortly, eyes wide looking into his.
He moved to the door. Then looked to the side "then don't tell him, it would never happen again. "
"Sasuke-Kun, I am pregnant," she said in a sad tone. A month ago, she was able to see her baby's chakra. She didn't want to get more bound to Naruto, an raise another poor kid alone.
Sasuke was about to leave her; this is way too much for him to handle. But her sad voice stopped him. He knows she and Naruto haven't shared a bed in a long time. How is this possible?
As if she could feel his confusion "it was a one-time thing. Naruto used the opportunity that Boruto was asleep nursing by my side. I didn't want to wake him up so I accepted forcefully. It was nothing. It was an accident. I didn't even know why I'm telling you this." she fell to her knees, her face in her hands.
"Why is it a one-time thing? Naruto is your husband. Why do you separate in bed? Why is there no intimacy between you? And if you are done with each other, why are you still with him?" he demanded in frustrating questions.
"I can't... I can't do it while...while thinking of you," she admitted, defending herself from his questions.
He couldn't help it. He was overwhelmed by her confession. He never thought she would admit her feelings for him. She said it. She thinks of him while having sex with her husband. And that made it impossible to be intimate again. She'd feel guilty every time.
He pulled her by the shoulder from the floor. Lifted her chin slowly to see her eyes. "Say it again," he said in a demanding soft voice.
"What? " She didn't understand his request. She doesn't know what one word did to his heart.
"Repeat what you just said! " He hoped she would understand how desperate for her affection he was.
"I can't do it while thinking of you... Sasuke" like she was torturing him, she left the honorific.
He exhaled and bent to suck her lips in an inhale. In a yearning. In delicious torment. Slowly tasting her lips for the first time. He closed his eyes, enjoying the moment with all his other senses. He thought for too long about it. How would it taste? How would it feel? How intoxicating would it be? Their first kiss ever. It have had happened long ago. But he was an idiot. He admits it to himself.
His tongue brushed lightly between her lips before he opened his drank eyes, capturing her surrender to his sweet torture.
He straightened up slowly leaving her with bruised red lips and closed eyes. She blushed heavily and opened her eyes slowly. He watched her and her reaction to his new intimacy.
Her eyes filled with longing for more and lust. He could devour every inch of her. Her glance is not helping. But he could read her mind behind her moon-like lavender irises. She conflicted with herself. He knows he pushed it this time. He even crossed his own boundaries.
"Leave Naruto. I don't care if you are pregnant or not. Your kids are mine. I want you. We are meant to be Hinata. Can't you feel it?" he was determined. He would not leave her. "Do you know what binds me to stay in Konoha all these years? YOU, only you. Until the arrival of Sarada. You both are the most precious things I have. Don't worry about anything. I will deal with Naruto." he pleads with her. He always gets what he wants. He thought.
She was silent for a long moment in deep thought. Her mind beating the heck out of her still-pounding heart.
She spoke regretting her whole life and ever being born. "I made a promise to Naruto and I never go back on my word, that's my ninja way," she explained her refusal. Looking down in an apology.
With that, he was done with this village. He will leave and never return.
Sasuke was so disappointed in Hinata. How could she refuse him? The only woman he ever wanted doesn't want him. Though he knows she loved him and longed for him.
After months of yearning. All was over, he was done with Hinata, Naruto, Sakura, and the whole fucking village.
He went to the Hokage tower to discuss the latest development they discovered. The White Zetsu track they found and the lair of Kaguya.
He got a tracking mission with Naruto, Shino, and Kiba (team 8 was the best at tracking). Sasuke, Naruto, and Kiba couldn't stand each other and they avoided being together in the same place but that didn't stop the mission from getting perfectly completed. And they could track some of Kaguya's many lairs.
But at night, it was never quiet. Kiba and Naruto just couldn't shut their mouths. And another thing that irritated Sasuke was that every now and then the mention of Hinata must come. All males were related to her. Her two teammates were like brothers to her and loved her with all their hearts. She worries about them too all the time and wishes them love and subtle marriage. Not like hers.
But he doesn't want to hear her name. Doesn't want to hear about their travels with her, how she smothered all three males, how strong kunoichi she is, how delicious her food is, how she has the gentlest heart on earth, how a perfect mother to Boruto and a perfect housewife. Naruto couldn't stop bragging about that. She was so understanding of his workaholic schedule and unorganized character.
They remembered the time they discovered the enemy, turned into Hinata in the way she didn't blush at the mention of Naruto, while the original Hinata would. How idiot Naruto was to be oblivious to her love. How she was the only one to defend Naruto from Pain's attack...
Naruto mentioned that she doesn't faint or get tomato-red around him anymore. He is lucky if she blushes. Sasuke was surprised at the note because he had surely seen her blush heavily and get tomato red on many occasions around him.
Nonetheless, he didn't want to hear any of it. But he couldn't do anything about it. He couldn't stop thinking about her anyway. And he wouldn't forget her that easily.
The thought of her made him furious and disappointed. He wants to forget her with all his heart. He must leave Konoha as soon as possible. But he doesn't want to be a missing-nin and have Naruto track him for the rest of his life. That is so suspicious. But he will make Kakashi sign him up for a far unlimited mission. He will make a plan.
They went back to the village to report what they tracked.
After the team left, the Uchiha stayed to have a word with the Sixth. Sasuke wants a long, unlimited mission to deal with all the war aftermath and ensure that no harm would come to the village again. Their worries are long not over.
It was a good plan. His former sensei was convinced because of Sasuke's eye abilities and dimension travel. But he must discuss it with the council. He has a week to hear from him back.
He went home hoping he won't have to see her until he leaves... forever.
Naruto heard about Sasuke's request. He couldn't believe it. How could he leave again? and what about his child? It's like he is always searching for an excuse to get out of Konoha.
The Jinjūriki saw the monsters Kaguya left and he knows the dangers that threaten the village. He also knows only Sasuke can deal with the Otsutsuki. But he doesn't want to lose his best friend.. again.
In a few weeks, it will be their kids' birthdays. He must wait at least until then.
He told Hinata about it. He was so frustrated. She was listening in the kitchen, her back to him.
Then he saw her collapse on the floor. She fainted. It's been a long time since she last fainted. Even in her first pregnancy, it didn't happen. But the news of Sasuke leaving the village was too much for her poor heart.
The week was too long, he couldn't sleep and his depression is getting worse. He must leave this house, everywhere he looks he sees her ghost. Her smile, her graceful walk, her pretty face. She is everywhere even when he closes his eyes. He could smell her, taste her, feel her.
Why is this torture happening to him from all people? Why can't his life be normal for once?
Like he hadn't suffered enough? Like his life wasn't exciting enough? Like he didn't already lose everyone he loves? His clan, his family, his mother, his Itachi, and now his love.
He hates her and her memories. How could she do this to him? She just wants to play with him. He is her toy. She is just having fun. If she ever loved him or had feelings for him, she would be with him. But she didn't. She is just a bored housewife having fun with her husband's best friend.
He was sure of it. There is no other explanation.
In a few days, he heard from Shikamaru that the council accepted sending him on this open mission for unlimited time and unlimited resources on the condition only to collect information for Konoha in top secrecy and not engage in battles only for self-defense.
His life is very precious for the protection of the village and mankind.
He heard Naruto screaming at the gate. The last one he wants to see right now.
"What do you want Dobe?" He is always irritated when he sees Naruto.
"Sasuke, how could you leave Konoha? We need you here. You can't leave forever, how could you do that? What about your daughter, and Sakura-chan?"
"Take good care of them ok!" he calmed down.
"Of course, I will, I'm going be the Hokage, the whole village is my responsibility, but I need you with me,"
"I will visit and report from time to time, if you need anything you know how to contact me"
"Temmee it is not like that, you're my best friend, and the village is not the same without you. Please cancel the mission. Will go together, what do you think? " He can't convince him.
"No, you must stay here, I need to do this alone, I don't have the energy to travel us both into dimensions, not yet." he was right.
"I understand... What about a spar before you leave? "
"I'm not in the mood. " he is a depressed person.
"Come on Sasukeeee, how about ramen, you know I will not leave you that easily. " he grins and scratches his nape, very proud.
"Alright Usuratonkachi, your treat" he smirked.
Seeing Naruto cheered him up, but he couldn't forget that he loves his wife. It hurt him to do this to his friend, he was glad he was leaving.
"Take care of Hinata alright, she needs you" is the last thing he said to him.
On the day of his mission, he saw Sakura and Sarada before she left for the Hospital and dropped Sarada off at the Uzumaki residence.
He had a green teddy for Sarada and told Sakura to gift her it for her birthday.
"Don't forget what I told you. I may never return. Sarada is your responsibility. But I want her to be a strong kunoichi and make the Uchiha proud. You are free, you can divorce whenever you want. Kakashi knows about it and will do the paperwork."
"I don't want to divorce you… and don't worry about Sarada... Please keep looking out for everyone... Sasuke-Kun" she said smiling
He smiled too "hm".
