Not the best break, but nowhere near the worst. Next one will be on the week of the seventh or the fourteenth. Please enjoy this bit with Natsumi.
Snow blanketed the streets of the city of Tengu as Shido walked down the street. Spotting a familiar mess of green hair, he sighed and shook his head as he stepped closer to the figure, "Natsumi, what are you doing out in the snow? It's going to get worse," he heard the green-haired Spirit shivering and he sighed before he stepped closer to her before picking her up bridal style, "C'mon, we're almost at the house," Natsumi shivered as she wrapped her arms around her body to try and keep warm, "Let's go. I'll fix you some tea and soup," Natsumi moaned as Shido carried her down the street.
Natsumi sat on the couch, wrapping in a blanket with a cup of tea and a bowl of soup on the table in front of her. Shido sighed and sat down next to her before he shook his head, "Now…why don't you tell me what you were doing out in the snow like this?"
"I just wanted to go for a walk is all," Natsumi moaned as she hugged her knees to her chest, "And then it just started snowing and I didn't know where I was going and I got lost," Shido frowned as Natsumi continued, "I'm just worthless,"
"Stop that," Shido sighed before he reached over and patted the top of Natsumi's head, "You shouldn't have gone out on your own like that, especially if there was a storm coming. You're just lucky I came across you before it got too bad and we'd never be able to find you," Natsumi frowned, "I don't think the others would like it if you were to just disappear like that."
Natsumi continued to pout, "How about we watch a movie together while you get warmed up?" Natsumi hummed and nodded as Shido walked over to the TV and put a movie on before walking back to the couch ad sat down beside Natsumi as the green-haired Spirit smiled and leaned up against Shido.
Just a little something. Enjoy.
