Chapter 27 The Gathering

Elizabeth stood in the Elevator to go down below. She got the call before Dawn that Fox had gone into Labor and her and Brooklyn had flew over so she could be with Fox. Brooklyn had stayed cause it was to late to fly back. It was near sunset and Elizabeth was coming down to get Brooklyn where her father and Fox's parents were waiting. She hadn't slept all day. The door opened and she stepped out to find Fox's parents and her father waiting. Owen flew into the elevator before she was out.

"What's with him?" Elizabeth asked as Petros came over to kiss her on the check.

"After he introduced me to Anastasia Renard he said he had to go." Petros said.

"Apparently me remarrying he didn't like." Anastasia said.

"Fox didn't say you remarried." Elizabeth said.

"I remarried my first husband." Anastasia said. Elizabeth knew that Fox's mom was married before she married Fox's father.

"Where's the Godfather?" Mr. Renard said.

"He should be waking up shortly." Elizabeth said. A roar came making Elizabeth smile. "Excuse me. He'll be joining you guys shortly." Elizabeth ran to where Brooklyn jumped off his perch.

"No baby?" Brooklyn asked.

"When I left no." Elizabeth said as she hugged Brooklyn. They head down and join the parents. Petros came over and greeted Brooklyn. An elevator clicked and they turn to see Xanatos coming out with a baby in his hands. Elizabeth grinned, happily.

"You're all here! Excellent. Come meet your new grandson and nephew. Alexander Fox Xanatos." Xanatos said. The Grandparents, Elizabeth, and Brooklyn gathered around Xanatos to peak at the baby. Elizabeth smiled seeing the boy had Fox's red hair. "Does the Godmother want to hold him first? I know you been inching to hold him." Elizabeth held out her arms and Xanatos set Alexander in her arms. Brooklyn put his hands on Elizabeth's shoulders as they look at the boy.

"Glad to see you and your sister getting along now." Petros said, putting a hand on Xanatos shoulder.

"We still got our differences, but we are getting along now for Fox's sake." Elizabeth said.

"Let's go back by Fox." Xanatos said.

Up in the room. Elizabeth handed Alexander over to her best friend. Anastasia and Petros sat on the bed while Mr. Renard sat in his wheel chair on the otehr side of the bed. Elizabeth stood by the bed as Brooklyn and Xanatos stood at the foot, watching. Petros laughs.

"He looks just like David!" Petros said. He puts a finger in Alexander's hand. Elizabeth smiles.

"Yes, but he has my daughters eyes." Renard said. The door opens and Owen enters.

"He's perfect, aren't you, my little prince?" Anastasia said. Owen walked up to Xanatos and Brooklyn.

"A word, sir. With you and Brooklyn." Owen said. Brooklyn and Xanatos share looks. "It is imperative you do not leave either Fox, Elizabeth, or your son alone with Anastasia." Brooklyn's eyes widen as Xanatos looked worried. Brooklyn and Xanatos look at Anastasia as Elizabeth looked at the two and saw the worried looks.

"Let me hold this angel boy." Anastasia said. Fox handed Alexander over to her mother. "Oh yes, my little one. You have so much to look forward to. Such marvelous potential." Xanatos went to ask Owen what he was talking about and Owen was gone.

"What did he mean?" Brooklyn asked.

"I don't know, but don't leave my sisters side." Xanatos said as he goes and sits next to Fox. Brooklyn came up to Elizabeth and wraps an arm around her, pulling her close to his side.

"What's going on?" Elizabeth asked.

"Nothing. Where's your gun." Brooklyn asked. Elizabeth pointed to her hip where her gun sat.

"You look worn out, my dear." Anastasia said.

"I am a bit." Fox said, holding her arms out for her son. Anastasia stands up to shoo the other grandparents out.

"Ok, you two, you can see them later. Fox needs her rest." Anastasia said. Renard and Petros leaves. Anastasia turns to the four. "I'll keep the baby while you sleep." She heads to the door.

"No!" Xanatos said, standing and stopping her. "That's not necessary. We have a nurse." Xanatos takes Alexander and goes to hand him to Fox.

"But, David. I'm his grandmother." Anastasia said.

"And you must be tired from your trip here. Besides. Elizabeth is staying with us for a week to help with Alex." Xanatos said.

"What's going on?" Fox asked.

"Yes." A voice said. Elizabeth gasped as a man in cloak in armor with white hair with a Gargoyle beast standing next to him stands in the door. Brooklyn growled. The man was glowing green. "What exactly is going on?"

"Who are you?" Xanatos asked. The man approached Anastasia.

"What are you doing here, my love? Have you forgotten the Gathering?" The man asked.

"I am gathering even now." Anastasia said. Elizabeth looked between the man and Anastasia. What was going on?

"Gathering?" Elizabeth whispered. Brooklyn shook his head, not sure what they meant either.

"We discussed this, my dear. It is my law that we not directly interfere in human affairs. Let the women keep her child." THe man said.

"Keep my child? Mother, who is this guy?" Fox asked.

"Mother?" The man said. He laughed. "Titania what have you been up to?"

"Titania?" Elizabeth asked, reconizing the name.

"Who is Tittania? Mother, explain yourself?" Fox said.

"I would like to know also." Brooklyn said. Xanatos approached Anastasia.

"This should prove interesting." Xanatos said.

"More interesting than you know." The man said. Anastasia walks away. The man holds up his hand. "It is time to drop this facade, my queen." He blows a cloud onto Anastasia. She gasps as it disappears.

"As you would, my lord." Anastasia said. Elizabeth put an arm over her face as a green light comes. In Anastasia place stood a beautiful woman with red hair and blue skin in a queen like outfit.

"Avalon." Elizabeth whispered.

"Much better." The man said.

"Mother?" Fox asked.

"You see me as I really am, child. Titania, Queen of Avalon." Titania said with a smile.

"Queen of Avalon? So that means that." Elizabeth said, looking at the Man.

"Your right, child. This is Oberon, My Lord and husband." Titania said. She walks away. "Oberon and I were divorced a millennium ago. With little to do, I have spent the last century studying the human magic men call science." She moves her hands to show images. It was a lab with her and younger version of Renard. "Then some years ago, I met Halcyon Renard. In him I found my intellectual match. We fell in love." The image shows Anastasia pregnant with Fox. "And we were married. Then you came along Fox." The image disappears. "Time passed. Halcyon provided too rigid to hold my interest. Truthfully, no one can, save Oberon. And so we reconciled."

"Fascinating, my dear. And does your daugther possess magic?" Oberon asked.

"Alas, no. Fox was raised among humans and whatever magical abilities she might have inherited have withered to nothing." Titania said.

"Can you be so sure?" Oberon asked.

"I have seen her in crisis after crisis. She has a keen mind, but her magic if she possesses any, has never come to the surface." Titania said.

"And what of her child?" Oberon asked, looking at the son in Fox's hands. Fox clutched him tightly to her.

"That is what I was addressing when you came in, my husband. Although the bloodline is thinned, he has great potential." Titania said.

"With his pedigree? Of course he does." Xanatos said.

"He has magic in him. I would not see it die as did his mother's. It must be encouraged, nutered." Titania said. She turned to Elizabeth. "But there's also something I been hiding from you, my husband. Her." Titania pointed at Elizabeth.

"Me." Elizabeth said.

"What you want with her?" Brooklyn growled.

"You always wanted to know the truth of where you came from, Elizabeth. She's your daugther Oberon. She might have been raised among humans but the Gargoyles have welcomed her into their clan. I found out I was with child when we divorced. I consulted the weird sisters and they said her fate was with the Xanatos family." Titania said. She moved her hands and showed an image of the Xanatos family home with a cloak figure stepping out of a fire of the Phoenix Gate. The cloak figure ran to the door and put a sleeping baby wrapped in blankets on the doorstep. She knocked and ran. The image disappeared. "Shortly after she was born, I left her with the Xanatos family and hid the secret from you all this century."

"She doesn't hold magic." Oberon said, eying Elizabeth.

"Her true form has no magic." Titania said.

"My true form? Are you saying I'm not human?" Elizabeth asked.

"No, my child. This is your true form." Titania said. She waved her hands and a flash of green light came and Brooklyn and Xanatos gasped. Elizabeth stood as a Gargoyle with White skin and auburn hair. She gasped as she looked at her hands. Brooklyn came up to her and touched her face. He could hardly believe what he was hearing that Elizabeth was not just a child of Avalon, but she was a Gargoyle. She looked at him with amazement. "You always felt in with the Gargoyles and this is why. Your a Gargoyle by heart." She waved her hand and Elizabeth was turned back to her human form. Elizabeth groaned. "We should take her with so she could learn more." Brooklyn growled.

"This is ridiculous. My son will be nurtured right here with his father and me." Fox said.

"Elizabeth isn't going anywhere either." Brooklyn growled as he pushed Elizabeth behind him.

"No, Fox. The boy must be taken to Avalon, where he can be properly trained in his mystical heritage. And Elizabeth needs to learn more of her abilities." Titania said. She looked at Oberon. "If of course, you will allow it, My Lord." Elizabeth saw Xanatos had a gun in his hand as Brooklyn moved to be in front of Elizabeth.

"As I see it, Fox has turned out to be regrettably human, and thus we cannot interfere in her life. However. The baby is still of our blood and Elizabeth is my child. And if it pleases you to take him and her, you have my permission." Oberon said. Elizabeth nearly had to grab Brooklyn to stop him from tackling Oberon.

"Over my dead body you will." Brooklyn growled.

"No! You can't have him!" Fox said.

"It's all right. No one is taking our son or Elizabeth away." Fox sees the gun Xanatos was holding. Brooklyn noticed and got ready. Elizabeth put a hand on her gun. "Taking a child from his parents is the epitome of interfering in human affairs."

"He's right. By your own law you cannot allow this." Elizabeth said.

"I have made up my mind." Oberon said. Fox huffs as she grabs her blanket.

"To bad for you." Fox said as she rolls off the bed as Xanatos grabs the gun and Elizabeth pulls hers out. Both shoot Oberon at the same time, sending Oberon flying into the table breaking it. Xanatos and Elizabeth took shots and Oberon put up a barrier sending the shots back. Elizabeth and Xanatos roll out of the attacks. Oberon holds out his hand and the guns were ripped out of Xanatos and Elizabeth's hands. Oberon looked at them.

"Hmm. Interesting toy." Oberon said he melts the guns in his hands. Brooklyn roared as he jumped on Oberon. Oberon grunted and grabbed Brooklyn and sent him flying into the wall.

"Brooklyn!" Elizabeth ran for him and knelt beside him. He was unconsious. Xanatos runs and jumps to attack.

"Boudicca." Oberon said. Elizabeth watched as the Gargoyle beast knocks Xanatos to the ground. "You have fought for your child admirably against impossible odds. I hope you find comfort in that." Xanatos punches Boudicca off him and runs at Oberon. Oberon touches his chest and it was like he freezes Xanatos. "I would not see you damaged further." Fox gasps. Brooklyn groans and Elizabeth helps him up as Titania reaches to help Fox up.

"Get away from me!" Fox said. She runs to Xanatos and touches his face. "David."

"We are not not without a heart, child." Elizabeth and Brooklyn look at Oberon. "You have one hour to say goodbye to your son and sister. Before we return to take the child and Elizabeth to Avalon forever." Oberon said. Elizabeth wraps her arms around Brooklyn and burries her face in his chest as he wraps his wings around her as Oberon and Titania disappear. Xanatos unfreezes and Fox cries into him as he holds her as Alexander cries. Brooklyn and Xanatos share looks as they hold their women.

"I can't up and leave. My life is here. Your here." Elizabeth said, looking up at Brooklyn. Brooklyn whipes the tears away.

"You and Alexander aren't going without a fight." Xanatos said.

"Agreed." Brooklyn said.

"David. Your facing the King of Avalon. How do you expect to fight against a powerful being?" Elizabeth said.

"Let's go talk to Owen." Xanatos said, letting go of Fox. Brooklyn let Elizabeth go so that they head towards Owen's office. Owen was sitting at the desk as the three entered the office.

"Did you know that Anastasia was actually Titania?" Xanatos asked.

"Yes I did." Owen said as he pulled a disk from the computer.

"Then you knew that she came here to steal my son?" Xanatos said.

"No, but I feared it." Owen said.

"So you knew the truth about who I was from the beginning?" Elizabeth asked.

"What's going on?" Brooklyn asked.

"Owen is Puck." Elizabeth said. Brooklyn's eyes widen. "I found out awhile ago."

"I did. I was sworn to secrecy, but when Titania found out I was working for you and your brother, I was to protect you. But you didn't need it." Owen said. Elizabeth grinned. Owen held out the disk to Xanatos. "This contains security measures, which I have already implemented." Xanatos takes the disk.

"Who authorized this?" Xanatos asked. Owen organizes the papers on his desk.

"I did, sir. As soon as I learned that Fox was expecting. Everything has been built to my precise specifications." Owen said, standing up.

"Excellent." Xanatos said.

"There are two things to remember. One. Energy is energy, whether generated by science or sorcery. Two. Oberon is vulnerable to iron. His magic's are powerless against it." Owen said.

"That's good to know." Elizabeth said.

"I knew you wouldn't let me down, Owen." Xanatos said. Owen starts walking towards the door. "Wait! Where are you going? We've got a fight on our hands."

"I'm truly sorry, Mr. Xanatos, but this is one battle in which I cannot risk becoming involved." Owen said. He walks out.

"I'll get the Gargoyles. Soon as they find out Elizabeth is in threat they will help." Brooklyn said, turning to Xanatos.

"After all I did to you guys, you would help?" Xanatos said.

"David. I'm part of the clan. They will help." Elizabeth said. Xanatos nodded.

"Brooklyn. I want you back to protect Fox and Elizabeth while I fight Oberon. Try and get back fast." Xanatos said. Brooklyn nodded. He ran out the door. "Liz. Go be with Fox. She's gonna need you." Elizabeth nodded. Elizabeth went to where Fox is.

Brooklyn flew fast towards the clock tower. Thoughts were racing through his mind. Elizabeth was a daughter of Avalon and she was a Gargoyle. It was raining as he got back to the Clock Tower. He burst through the door.

"We need to get the Castle..." Brooklyn froze when he saw Goliath, Bronx, and a female Gargoyle there. "Goliath your back." He stops Bronx from tackling him. "Down boy. Its good to see you." He looked at the female. "Your Angela. Liz said you were with Goliath." Angela smiled at him.

"What's wrong?" Goliath said.

"Oberon wants to take Elizabeth and Alexander away." Brooklyn said. Goliath looked worried.

"Why would they want to take the lass away." Hudson said.

"She's a child of Oberon. Her true self is a gargoyle." Brooklyn said. The Gargoyles shared looks.

"He's right." Titana's voice came and Brooklyn spun to see Titana standing there.

"You!" Brooklyn growled. Goliath had to stop his second in command from attacking Titana. "You want to take Elizabeth away from me."

"Titania. There must be an explanation." Goliath said.

"There is. He's right. Elizabeth is my daughter and Oberon's. Her fate was to be with the Xanatos family and to find you and your clan to free you." Titania said.

"My lady. You know how close these two are. You know what love is and you want your husband to seperate two loved ones?" Goliath asked.

"I wasn't thinking he would. I want you to protect my daughters and the baby from the upcoming battle." Titania said.

"So you want us to protect Liz and the kid but still want to take them." Broadway said, crossing his arms.

"I realize that you can't seperate someone from someone they love. If you can convince Oberon not to take the two, I'll consider it." Titania said.

"Lady. I don't think I can trust you. You want to take my girl and my Godson away from me and my clan." Brooklyn said. Titania didn't miss the hurt and anger in the young gargoyles eyes.

"Calm down, Brooklyn. No one is taking Elizabeth away. We will protect them." Goliath said. Brooklyn turned towards Goliath.

"I have to get back to Liz. Xanatos wants me to stay with the girls." Brooklyn said. Goliath nodded.

"I can get you to the girls faster then flying. My son in law is getting the defence system going." Titania said. Goliath thought it over and nodded as he looked at Brooklyn.

"Stay with the girls. We will handle Oberon." Goliath said. Titania and Brooklyn disappear in a flash of green light.

"You sure on this, lad?" Hudson said.

"Elizabeth is part of the clan. I'm sure. Let's get to the castle." Goliath said, running for the door with the others behind him.

Elizabeth and Fox were sitting on the couch talking as Alex laid in the cradle.

"Liz get some sleep. I know you haven't slept till the ohter day." Fox said.

"I'm fine Fox. I'm not going to sleep without Brooklyn here." Elizabeth said. A flash of green light came and Elizabeth and Fox grabbed their guns and pointed them.

"Hey. Hey. No need to shoot." Brooklyn said, holding up his arms. Fox and Elizabeth sighed in relief and lowered their guns. Elizabeth dropped hers back on the couch and ran to Brooklyn, hugging him. He returned the hug.

"How did you get here?" Elizabeth said.

"David just put up the barriers." Fox said.

"Your mother." Brooklyn said. Elizabeth and Fox shared looks. "She's wanting the Gargoyles help protecting you and changing Oberon's mind about taking you and the boy. She transported me here to stay." Brooklyn picked up Elizabeth and headed for the couch.

"Tryign to get her to sleep a bit and she refused cause she was making sure you got here." Fox said.

"Fine. Fine. I'll go to sleep." Elizabeth said with a yawn, making Brooklyn chuckle a bit. Fox smirked as Brooklyn laid Elizabeth down and he laid with her with his wings wrapped around him as he pulled her to him and she laid her head on his chest. Brooklyn watched as she fell asleep on his chest. Fox nodded in approval.

"She's been with me since you guys arrived. She needed some sleep." Fox said. She went to go get them some food. Brooklyn could hear the battle with the Gargoyles and Oberon outside. He ran his claw through Elizabeth's hair. Fox came back and gave Brooklyn some food while she sat in a rocker.

The fight was still going and Brooklyn wondered how long it was going to last. Fox seemed to be stressing as she sat. She got up and went to check on Alexander and he was fast asleep. She looked towards her sister and Brooklyn. It was still running through Fox's mind that her mother was Titania and Elizabeth was the Daughter of Avalon. It did explain why Liz loved the middle ages and fascinated with King Arthur and Merlin.

"I'm still wrapping my head around it." Fox looked at Brooklyn. He was watching her. "Your mother is Titania. I would never suspect with you." Fox nodded.

"Elizabeth it kind of explains why she loves King Arthur and Merlin. But she always wondered why she was abandoned. Mother said her fate was with the Xanatos family to find you Gargoyles. She is part of your clan." Fox said. Brooklyn nodded as he looked at Liz.

"She wants to give up everything to be a Gargoyle for me. I hate for Oberon to take her from me. She's part of the clan." Brooklyn said. Fox smiled.

"I know she does. She talked to me about it cause she wants to help with Alex when she can and I told her she can help at night with him and not to worry." Fox said. Brooklyn turned his head as Elizabeth let a sigh out in her sleep.

"She does. We talked about it cause she's worried of leaving me when she was gonna help with Alex. I told her she can help at night at least. But she will not leave you to go to Avalon. She doesn't need you to protect her but yet you protect her. I have never seen her happy like this after her and Derek broke up." Brooklyn nodded.

"I never thought I would find love for awhile, especially after my clan was destroyed. When I saw Liz, I had a feeling she was the one." Brooklyn said.

"Elizabeth. Oberon is coming." Titania's voice came in Elizabeth's head, making her eyes shoot open.

"He's coming." Elizabeth said, sitting up and Brooklyn and her get up. Fox grabbed her gun as Elizabeth grabbed hers and got in front of Alex's crib and Brooklyn stood behind it. A flash of green light came and Fox and Elizabeth turn as Brooklyn growled as Oberon stood behind them.

"Titania!" Oberon shouted. Titania appeared and Elizabeth and Fox pointed their guns at Oberon. Brooklyn's eyes were glowing white. "Let us conclude this business, so that we may return home." Titania nodded.

"As you wish, My Lord." Titania said. Elizabeth gritted her teeth. She wasn't sure who side Titania was on. Oberon turned on Fox and Elizabeth.

"It is time to relinquish the child and you my child are to come home to Avalon." Oberon said, looking at Elizabeth.

"Over my dead body." Fox said.

"And mine." Brooklyn growled.

"As you wish!" Oberon said. Fox and Elizbeth both shoot at Oberon and he directs the fire back hitting both girls. They hit the ground. Brooklyn roars and jumps at Oberon. Oberon uses force and sends him flying through a table. Elizabeth sees and her eyes glow red.

"NO!" Elizabeth breaks through the spell holding her gargoyle form in place and changes into her gargoyle. Titania's eyes widen as Elizabeth jumps at Oberon. Brooklyn looks up to see Liz tackle Oberon to the ground in a Gargoyle form. Oberon was shocked as she knocks him to the ground. He put his hands up and send her flying into a wall. She groans and hits the ground, a flash of light changes her back to human form. Oberon walks to the grib as Fox sits up.

"No!" Fox said. The doors burst open as Xanatos, Goliath, and Puck come in. Titania surrounds them with green light. Brooklyn hurried over to Elizabeth. Oberon looks at Alex and Elizabeth's eyes open as Alex started crying. Brooklyn helped her sit up. Oberon reaches for Alex.

"NO!" Elizabeth gasps as Fox's eyes turn green and she shoots greet light at Oberon and sends him flying through a wall.

"Avalon." Elizabeth said.

"You turned Gargoyle. I think both of you are clicking into your magic." Brooklyn said. Fox falls to the ground. Elizabeth runs to Fox.

"You hurt him with that one. Do it again." Puck said as Elizabeth helped Fox sit up as Brooklyn ran to check on Alex who seemed to calm when he saw him.

"I.. I Can't. I'm trying." Fox said. Titania walked up to her daughters.

"How did you do that? Both of you?" Titania said.

"I don't know. I don't know. I just couldn't let him take my baby." Fox said. Titania looked at Elizabeth.

"I saw Brooklyn get thrown and I didn't want Oberon to hurt him anymore. I just wanted to protect." Elizabeth said, looking at Brooklyn. Oberon blasted through the wall. Brooklyn jumped in front of the girls and Alex.

"I have had ENOUGH!" Oberon said.

"Wait, your Majesty. This changes everything." Goliath said. Titania waved her hand freeing the three from the Green magic. Elizabeth comes up to Brooklyn and puts a hand on his shoulder. He calmed at her touch. Xanatos goes to Fox and pulls her into his arms. Goliath walks over to Oberon and kneels down. Brooklyn wrapped an arm around Elizabeth and pulled her close. "Fox's outburst renders this battle unnecessary." Fox goes over to Alex's crib and Alex laughs at the sight of his mom as she picks him up. "If she can tap a talent so woefully undeveloped, the child can certainly be taught to harness his powers here. He needn't go to Avalon to realize his full potential. He can stay with his parents." Elizabeth watched as Fox nuzzle Alex as Xanatos put his hands on her shoulders. "Frankly, it would be less trouble for you. And you really want to seperate Elizabeth from the Gargoyle she loves. Of anyone, you should understand love. She is part of my clan and an amazing fighter. I hate to loose her." Elizabeth looked up at Brooklyn, who was watching her and smiled. Oberon watched them with a hand to his chin.

"Hmm. But the Gathering has begun. Who would train the boy in the use of his powers?" Oberon said.

"What about him?" Elizabeth asked, pointing at Puck, who was standing watching. Oberon looked at Puck.

"Yes, what about him?" Oberon asked.

"I've got a sunny disposition and I'm always kind to animals." Puck said. Brooklyn snorted, making Elizabeth elbow him. Titania walked up to Oberon.

"Puck would make a fine teacher. He wishes to stay, and he already protective of the boy." Titania said. Puck appeared in front of Fox and patted Alex on the head.

"I suppose I could give the little tyke a few pointers and change Elizabeth into a Gargoyle fully when she is ready." Puck said. Elizabeth and Brooklyn share smiles. Even Goliath smiled as Oberon approached Puck.

"Very well, Puck. You have made your choice." Oberon said. Titania got behind her husband. "And now you shall live with it.. Forever. You are eternally banished from Avalon, Puck. Never again will you sample its paradise." Elizabeth put a hand to her mouth.

"No, wait! Not eternally!" Puck said, backing away.

"We hearby strip you of all your powers, save when you are training or protecting the boy and turning my daughter into her true form forever." Oberon said as he raised his hands and started pulling the magic from Puck as he talked. Puck screamed in pain. "Such is your punishment. So speaks Oberon." He lowers his hands and the green light disappears and Puck falls to the ground.

"Remind me not to make your dad angry." Brooklyn whispered. Elizabeth smiled.

"No, please, My Lord. Pleasle reconsider. I'll do anything." Puck said, reaching for Oberon.

"Pathetic." Oberon said. Puck bows his head and changes back into Owen. Owen stands up.

"Forgive me, My Lord. You must do as you see fit." Owen said. He puts his glasses back on. "i will stay here with young Alexander and Miss Elizabeth." Owen said. Oberon groans and holds out his hand for Titania.

"Come, my Queen." Oberon said. Titania takes his hand and they went to walk out. "Never have I so badly desired departure." Goliath looks at Oberon.

"What about the city? Everyone is still asleep." Goliath said. Oberon and Titania looked at Goliath.

"The humans will awaken in the morning." Oberon said, sending green magic out of him towards the air. "And this will seem naught but a midsummer night's dream."

"Allow me one moment more, My Lord." Titania said. Oberon nodded. Titania walked up to Fox and Xanatos. "Be well, Fox. I plan to look in on you and Alexander from time to time." Fox held her son close.

"Must you?" Fox asked.

"Why you so angry? Didn't things work out to your satisfaction?" Titania said.

"That hardly changes what you tried to do." Fox said.

"What makes you think this isn't exactly what I've been trying to do from the beginnig." Titania said. She whispered something to Fox and she looked shocked. Elizabeth wondered what she whispered. Titania walked up to Elizabeth and Brooklyn. "I'm sorry, my daughter that I hid the truth from you, but you had to wait till the right time."

"Not happy how I found out, but I'm happy to know the truth, mother. Its just a lot to take in." Elizabeth said. Titania looked at Brooklyn.

"Take care of Elizabeth, Brooklyn. You fought well for her." Titania said.

"I will, My Lady." Brooklyn said. Titania looked at Elizabeth.

"When your ready, my daugther. Puck will break the spell keeping you in your human form and you'll be Gargoyle." Titania said. Elizabeth smiled and nodded as Titania walked up to her husband. She looked back at everyone.

"Til we meet again." Titania said.

"Which for your sakes, had better not be soon." Oberon said as the two turn and disappear. Elizabeth threw her arms around Brooklyn's neck and hug him as he sighed in relief as Goliath walked out. Brooklyn hugged her back. She was staying with the Gargoyles for good and she knew her future looked bright.

AN: SORRY FOR THE WAIT. Hope it held up to your standards and worth the wait. Till next time.
