Winter wind harshly blew as snow heavily fell from grey sky. Miku sat in the room as she wrapped her arms around her and shivered and shook from the cold. Feeling a blanket drape over her shoulders, she looked up and saw her fiancé sitting down next to her, "Darling?" Shido looked at her in confusion, "What are you doing?"
"Well…the power went out due to the storm and it looks like you're freezing," Shido wrapped an arm around her and held her close to him, "You should be in bed, honey. It's warmer there…what happened?"
"I couldn't sleep and decided to walk around the house for a bit but then it got cold," Miku sighed before resting her head on Shido's shoulder and yawning, "Darling, can you carry me to our room, please?" Shido smiled and nodded before he stood up and picked Miku up and carried her bridal style before he turned and walked down the hall to their room.
The two laid on their bed, Miku cuddled up against Shido as she shivered. Shido slightly smiled as he wrapped an arm around her and pulled her closer to him. She looked up and gave a small smile, "Thanks darling,"
"Don't mention it, honey," Shido kissed her forehead before the two of them fell asleep in each other's arms.
