Kotori moaned as she slowly opened her eyes as she sat up and the smell of cookies baking filled the air. She stood up and walked out of the room. Walking down the hall and into the kitchen, she saw Shido standing in front of the stove, "Shido?" Shido hummed and looked back in confusion, "What the heck are you doing?"
"Christmas cookies," Kotori's eyes widened as she walked up to her adopted brother and looked down at the holiday cookies resting on the plate, "Since it's getting close to the holidays, I decided to make some…here," he turned around and handed one to Kotori, "Try one,"
"I…you know the only sweets I like is candy,"
Shido hummed and shrugged his shoulders, "Okay, suit yourself, I just thought-"
"Okay, I'll have the damn cookie, just stop pressuring me," Kotori took the cookie from Shido and bit into and a smile formed across her lips and Shido smiled before h e turned and continued what he was doing.
