A loud screech wakes me up and I sit on my bed looking around my room lazily. Damn it's morning already! Wish I could sleep some more...
Sighing, I get up and move inside my bathroom, to get ready for the day.
'Oh no, it's 9:30 already! Damn, why did I spent so much time bathing? Ugh, why do I do that every time?'
I scolded myself and rushed towards the toaster to have the same breakfast I always have, toast and juice. Only if I wasn't so lazy, I would get a better breakfast!
Locking the house, I rush out of the house taking my bag and my keys. My boss is very friendly but when it comes to discipline, he doesn't spare anyone!
As I sit in my car and rush out towards my office, I see red strings passing through people. Going in different directions, some just around the corner, others, probably to another country.
What are these red strings, you ask?
These are strings connecting soulmates. If two people are meant to be together, they will be connected through this string. Fate has decided who will be with whom.
How am I able to see this? *sigh* even I don't know. I was a teenager when I realised that I had a unique ability. Unfortunately, I still haven't found my soulmate. Yeah yeah maybe I didn't try, but... Anyways so my part-time job is to be the best matchmaker people can get.
I try to find the soul mates of those who are near me. Can't go too far but can help those around me. Good thing right?
As I wait at the traffic signal impatiently, I see a couple hugging each other. But their strings aren't attached! I sigh as I realise they aren't meant to be together...
'Okay now is not the time for all this! You will lose your full-time job if you don't stop with this!' I scold myself again as I reach my office. 10! Damn, I hope I get in alive!
