This was scrapped because it was a little too different from the original Chapter 1.

[BONNIE #1/ROBBIE, 12:00 AM]

Bonnie awakens to find himself in a new but dimly lit pizzeria, with posters of what appears to be redesigned versions of him and his friends strewn about. The dimly lit atmosphere, although new and strange, reminded the metal rabbit of their old pizzeria at night. His eyes zipped back and forth examining his environment, questions flooded his mind. Where was he? What was going on? How long was he deactivated for?

He was always the most skittish of the Fazbear Four, so this situation wasn't exactly easy for him. It didn't help when he noticed how even his own body was different now, colored blue and very... new. His vision was clearer, his joints were looser, he could move his ears... Now that he thought about it, this seemed like an upgrade. It was a surprise, even his suit was cleaned up. How could the pizzeria afford all this?

Next he noticed a poster depicting him and the others... but a few things seemed off about it. It had names under each of them, but labeled him as "Robbie". Not only that, there was also a new animatronic on the poster. A purple bunny that looked feminine, and had HIS name on the poster. Who was this? Was he being replaced? No, he was still here and even had a spot on the poster, albeit different from how he was before.

When Bonnie(or as he was apparently rebranded; 'Robbie') saw a camera mounted near the stage and another in the dining room in front of the stage, he sighed. Cameras meant endos and that meant he'd have to get to work immediately, hopefully he can get the endo in a suit before Freddy notices. He always got so upset when the rules were broken, so a suit-less endoskeleton would result in a bit of yelling.

It took some searching, but Robbie finally found the office. He found that there are two hallways connected to it just like the last pizzeria, although the doors were different. These doors were closed by default and opened with doorknobs, instead of being open by default and closed using buttons like the last place had.

But that wasn't the weirdest part for him, there was no exoskeleton in sight. Instead there was a hat on the desk, and the other door was open. Seeing as the others are all inactive, this meant that the endo must've left the office. This was new, exoskeletons never left the office before... What was going on?

Robbie checked the cameras thinking he could find the endo from there, he was right. They were in the dining room, looking in the direction of the stage. Robbie also saw the new animatronic behind the endo, who didn't seem to notice them. 'Good' Robbie thought to himself, she'd catch this one... Right?

[BONNIE #2, 12:05 AM]

Bonnie awoke to find herself in a new pizzeria, dimly lit and packing a notably different layout from that of the old pizzeria. She was a little confused, how did she get here? She didn't remember much of what happened to the old pizzeria, but she did remember one thing: Fire, and lots of it.

She looked to her friends and found that they looked different, still recognisable... but still different. Freddy towered over the other two, and had notably wider shoulders. Chica looked more feminine, more human-like apart from the beak and feet. When Bonnie started moving, she noticed that her joints were more flexible and loose. Not to mention that her face was more expressive and she had more control over her ears. It was obvious, they had been upgraded! But... how could Arianna afford this?

She looked to Freddy and Chica beside her, "Hey! Freddy! Chica!" she spoke in an attempt to get their attention. She didn't get a response, only cold silence. "Guys?" Still no response, she was getting worried. She guessed they were deactivated, but the question is 'why'?

She looked around and saw Pirate's Cove in the distance, 'maybe Foxy will be active' she thought to herself... 'Wait a minute', she suddenly realized something; It was one thing for the pizzeria to keep Foxy, Arianna knew he was alive. But keeping Pirate's Cove? That could only mean one thing. Foxy was being brought back to entertain! Her eyes went wide open, and her smile was a mile wide... metaphorically speaking of course.

He was back! After so many years, Foxy could entertain again. He could go back to having fun with the 'little mateys', as he was designed to do. She raced over to the cove to check on Foxy, but saw that he was in the same inactive state as the others.

'What's going on here?' she asked herself, 'are my friends okay?'... 'Is Mike okay? Where is he?', this could be bad. Mike was basically a part of the family, every night he'd be there. Where was he?

She started hearing footsteps outside the cove, is that mike?

She peaked out of the cove to see a man walking through the dining room, stopping to look at the stage. "Oh great", she could hear him mumble even from a long distance. It seemed that even her hearing was improved. "Just great! First day on the job and something's happened to the animatronics!"... 'Who is this?' Bonnie asked herself.

She got closer to get a better look at him, quietly so as to avoid scaring him. His outfit was black and yellow, with a silhouette of Freddy Fazbear's face on his back. His belt had a taser on it, sporting the exact same color scheme. She could figure out that he was a nightguard, but his outfit didn't match that of the previous ones. He didn't even have a hat!

'...Wait, a nightguard!? But, that's Mike's job!' she exclaimed in her head... at least she assumed it was in her head. Judging from the man spiked upwards and his hairs stood on end the second she 'thought' that, she may have mumbled it out loud.

[ETHEN D'KRAFT, 12:00 AM]

This was easy, a job where Ethen just had to be on standby in case someone broke in. In the unlikely event someone was stupid enough to try breaking in, an alarm would go off and alert both him and the police. All he really had to do was sit back, watch the cameras, and put on some music. The best part is that he gets free pizza from this gig, and free food is the best food in his opinion.

It was amazing that all this just from a side-gig, his main role is actually as the go-to artist for the pizzeria. Designing menus and decorations, drawing the Fazbear crew, he was even the guy behind their new redesigns. Ethen's plan was to draw artwork for the pizzeria and occasionally check the cameras, a plan he'd regret when he noticed that both the purple bunny and blue rabbit were missing. "Uh oh." he mumbled, how could this happen? It wasn't like they could just walk around on their own after all, right?

The alarm wasn't triggered, so it couldn't have been that someone broke in. Maybe it was some sort of glitch with the animatronics, Ethen's boss did mention that they'd walk around and interact with the audience when they opened next week. He left his hat on the desk, and exited through the left hallway. He would've kept the hat, but it was starting to itch and hats weren't really his style.

When he reached the dining area, he simply stared at the stage. He didn't think that far ahead, or at all really. As he looked at the scenario, he frowned. "Oh great, Just great! First day on the job and something's happened to the animatronics!"" He sarcastically mumbled. Ethen desperately hoped he wouldn't be blamed for this, but the fact that he wasn't keeping a close eye on the cameras meant that this was most likely his fault.

But hey, at least getting fired was the worst thing that could happen... right?

"A nightguard?" he heard a quiet voice behind him, this was bad. He was the only one supposed to be there, so that meant that the voice must've belonged to someone breaking in. But the alarm didn't sound, so they must've managed to cut it. Indicating this was a professional mastermind of some sort, leaving him at a disadvantage. Even more than he was already at being caught off guard.

He quickly turned around, preparing his taser. Only for him to trip and fall backwards, hitting his head on the table behind him... Well that was unfortunate, pathetic even. Not surprising though, this was the man who tripped over his own shorts once. While he was wearing them.

[BONNIE, 12:30 AM]

*CRASH*

The man had turned around so quickly that he tripped and hit his head on the table behind him, falling unconscious from the hard blow to his head. If Bonnie had a heart, it'd be beating like there's no tomorrow.

She immediately got down to inspect the guard's head, fortunately there were no cuts or bruises. She noticed he was still breathing as well. Bonnie didn't know much about human biology, but she knew enough to guess that meant they were still alive. After a short sigh of relief, she scooped up the unconscious nightguard and started searching for a good place to put them. Her first thought was the security office, he was a nightguard after all. Maybe he'd be more comfortable there, less jumpy.

It was a longshot considering everyone she saw in the office had been scared of her and her friends at first(most of them being for a good reason), but it was better than anywhere else. She went in the way the man came from, the man she didn't even know the name of...

She stopped and tried to get a good look at their face, it was mostly shaved except for a slight mustache... If it could even be called that. Next she looked at the nametag, 'Ethen Kraft' it said. She didn't know anyone by the name of Kraft, she hopped he wasn't related to any of the nightguards that she...

Ugh, she didn't even want to think about that right now, or at all really. She wished that horrible period of mistaking nightguards for endoskeletons never happened in the first place, or at least that she never crammed any of them into those spare Freddy Suits. But she couldn't change the past, all she could do now was try for a better future.

When she got to the office, she was surprised to see a blue rabbit animatronic in the office chair. They looked as perplexed as her, but he shook his head as if to clear his thoughts. "Okay, you've caught the rouge endo, now all we have to do is get him suited up before anyone notices."

Bonnie was stunned, this new animatronic mistook Ethen for an endoskeleton? Sure, she and her friends had made the same mistake of other endoskeletons, but she didn't expect any other animatronic to have that glitch. "Uh, he's... not an endoskeleton..."

"...Okay, I've been suiting endos for long enough to know that's an endo," the blue rabbit got up, approaching Bonnie and the unconscious nightguard.

"...What!?"

"Yeah, I've been doing this since the 80's." This was surprising, she assumed she and her friends were the only animatronics active in the 80's.

"Uh... what state are you from?"

"Oregon."

"Well... I'm from [See Bottom Notes], and I've been active since the 80's as well..." The new animatronic went wide eyed at that.

"...uh, did you happen to have versions of Freddy and Chica in [See Bottom Notes]?"

"...Yeah... why?" Bonnie asked, putting the nightguard down.

"Because I had a Freddy and Chica, and used to be called 'Bonnie' before waking up here." That was a surprise, but Bonnie wasn't new to the idea of a boy Bonnie. T-Bonnie fit that description, before being burned to a crisp. Oh the toy animatronics, she had barely knew them.

"...Did you even have a version of Foxy?"

"Yeah, in fact I might still have him... Unless that's your Foxy in Pirate's Cove."

Well this was concerning, the Freddy Chica and Foxy in the pizzeria could either be Bonnie's family or this other animatronic's family. The silence was deafening, and Bonnie didn't know what to hope for. On one hand, she was attached to her family and they were trying to turn over a new leaf after the whole 'endo' thing. But that would require this animatronic being on his own, without his family.

"...What was your Foxy like?" the blue rabbit asked, breaking the silence.

"...Well, he always wanted to protect his crew, even if he had a bit of a temper." Saying 'A bit' was an understatement, considering what happened in '87... But he didn't didn't need to know that.

"Huh, well I hope that's your Foxy then. To be honest, the only one at my old place not to push me around was Chica. And that's just because she didn't interact with me much." It was hard for Bonnie to imagine versions of Freddy and Foxy being... like that. It was also kinda sad, not having any friends or proper family must've been terrible!

What's even worse is that he was making the same mistake she made not too long ago! "...So, do you still want to stuff this guy into an endoskeleton." She asked.

"Well that depends on if the Freddy on stage is mine or yours, I never did like the whole endo-stuffing process. Too messy for my taste, and I never did like having to force someone who was squirming the whole time. I only ever went through with it because Freddy got mad when the rules were broken." Well, that was a slight glimmer of hope.

"Well, if it turns out to be your Freddy, I'll tell him that us not suiting him up was my idea." Bonnie comforted, still trying to think of a way to break the news of what this new animatronic was really doing.

"Thanks... And uh, it's... 'Robbie' apparently, I saw a poster depicting me and it had that name on the bottom." It was good to know his name, she could actually address him and properly greet him.

It was just then that she heard a slight moan from the unconscious nightguard, as if they were waking up. She was starting to panic, what if he freaked out again and was scared of them? What would happen if the other animatronics activated and turned out to be from Robbie's pizzeria? What if the new nightguard got hurt? As many questions as she had, there wasn't much she could do. Ethen was waking up, and fast.

[ETHEN D'KRAFT, 1:30 AM]

Ethen was just waking up from the unconsciousness induced by his incredibly pathetic display, but his first thought was 'I shouldn't have left the office, I should've kept an eye on the cameras.'

As he came back to reality, the first thing he saw were the very same animatronics missing from the stage. The looks on their faces were... interesting, considering that Ethen didn't think they would be sentient. Robbie was wide eyed, looking surprised and almost like a fish out of water... Or rather a rabbit out of their rabbit hole.

Bonnie, on the other hand, looked more concerned than surprised. Their pleading eyes focused on him, and her hand was close to her chest like they just pulled it back. Ethen could guess that they were concerned about one of two things: that Ethen was hurt, or that he would try and do something stupid.

Ethen didn't even know what to say, he just looked between them in a confused manner. The silence was a combination of awkward and stressful. Ethen decided to break that silence, "Am I... dreaming?"

"I didn't know endoskeletons could dream." Robbie commented.

Bonnie sighed, "He's not an endoskeleton, he's a human."

"...A human? After dark?"

"Yes, and I was hired to watch over the place at night. Us humans might prefer sleeping at night, but we can move that to the daytime if necessary." Ethen answered.

"Wait... hired? Like the daystaff?"

"Yeah, but I'd probably be classified as nightstaff instead." Ethen chuckled, prompting Bonnie to put out a sight of relief. Ethen didn't know why she did, but hey. "Hey uh, it's hard for me to tell, what with how advanced technology has been getting over the years, but are you two people in costumes or animatronics that have gained sentience?"

"...animatronics..." Bonnie answered, "Uh, what state are we in?"

"Tennessee, why?"

"Because I used to be in [See Bottom Notes], from 1980 to 1994." Uh oh, did she know what year it was?

"And I was in Oregon from 1980 to 2003." Robbie commented, Bonnie looked surprised. But Ethen was mostly focused on the location Robbie mentioned.

"Oregon? Hey, I was born there! ...Before moving here to Tennessee of course."

"2003? Have I really been gone for so long?" Bonnie murmured.

"Uh..." Ethen got up and walked over to Robbie, "How do I tell her that it's 2024?"

"WHAT!?" Bonnie exclaimed. Oops, Ethen didn't think she would've heard that.

[BONNIE, 2:00 AM]

"I've been gone for 30 years!?" To say Bonnie was dismayed by this was an understatement. So many questions flooded her mind, it would take a while to answer them all. "...Have there been other Freddy Fazbear's Pizza locations?"

"Nope, but there have been some video games! ...You know what a video game is right?"

"...Yeah, both arcade and NES." Bonnie also knew that the newer an arcade game was, the better it looked. She didn't know exactly how good they'd look nowadays, but she wouldn't be surprised if they could look realistic. She wondered what these games about her and her friends would be like... "What are the games about?"

Ethen raised his hand to speak, smiling in anticipation. But then both his expression and his hand dropped, Uh... well, how do I put this?" This all but confirmed Bonnie's suspicions. "Okay, first of all, there have been some nasty rumours about the Freddy Fazbear brand, regarding what happens at night."

'Nononononono Please No, anything but that!' Bonnie thought to herself. "...Does it have anything to do with the animatronics mistaking staff for endoskeletons?" Bonnie asked cautiously, and noticed the man go wide eyed at that.

Ethen flinched, "Uh... Yeah, and then cramming said staff into suits full of sharp metal." Wow, even after 30 years, everyone still remembers... But, wait a minute... Ethen didn't seem too scared of them, and he did say they were mere rumours. Maybe he didn't know they actu- "Let me guess, not simple rumors?"

"Yes... I'm... I'm so sorry." Was all Bonnie could think to say, nodding her head sadly. She looked at the man in with a concerned expression, she could only imagine how he'd react.

[END CHAPTER 1]

Okay, if anyone knows what state the JANAF animatronics are from, PLEASE mention it in the reviews. I'll have to edit this chapter to put that in... I'll also remove this request when doing that.
