Bonjour everyone!
Abhijeet – Chalo shreya tumhe forensic se bhi introduce karwa de. Salunkhe sir ne bulaya hai.
"Ha ha sir bilkul mai bhi bohott excited hu dr. Ta-" I stopped instantly realizing what I was about to say.
But unfortunately, he possibly understood as his eyes went from normal to as wide as saucers.
"I-I-I me-mean dr. Salunkhe se. Unke baare mai bhi bohott suna hai ke vo bohot hi smart hai aur tricky se tricky case ka bhi solution nikaal hi lete hai." I tried to cover up and literally ran out of the bureau.
Abhijeet sir also moved out of the bureau after me as everyone was silently laughing at my slip of tongue.
Soon we all are standing at the entrance of the forensic lab. Abhijeet sir pushes the door and moves inside with
Abhijeet – Haa Dr. Sahab kya pata chala aapko?
Dr. Salunkhe – Are Abhijeet itne wakt baad mile ho na hi na how are you sidha kaam ki baat pe aa gaye?
Abhijeet (sarcastic smile) – Are dr. Sahab naraz kyu hote hai, abhi puch lete hai. (To dr. Tarika) Hello tarikaji, kaisi hai aap?
Dr tarika (shaking her head) – Hello Abhijeet.
Dr. Salunkhe (angrily) – Mai apni baat kar raha tha Abhijeet! Jab dekho tab tarikaji tarikaji karte rehte ho! Usi se pucho phir tum.
With this, he moved towards his seat and sat down with a 'phula hua' face.
Abhijeet (happily) – Ha ha kyu nahi. (Moving towards dr. Tarika)Chhodiye inhe aap bataiye tarikaji kya pata chala aapko?
Dr.Tarika – Vo abhijeet dr. Salunkhe ko hi pata hai... To tumhe unhe hi puchna hoga.
So now with his famous 'oh no let's apologize' look, he moved towards dr. Salunkhe and started buttering him
Abhijeet (sweetly) – Are kya dr. Sahab aap to naraz ho gaye! Aapke haal chaal puchne ki zarooat hi kya hai aap to hamesha hi fit rehte hai! (Looking at all as sign to say something) kyu hai na?
Sachin (agreeing) – Ha sir aap to vaise hi young and fit dikhte hai! Ab bata dijiye na kya pata chala.
"Ha sir please bata dijiye na!" I requested.
Listening to a new voice, Dr. Salunkhe turned towards me with
Dr. Salunkhe – ye kon hai?
Abhijeet – Dr sahab ye Inspector Shreya hai. Abhi hi join kiya hai isne. (Turning towards me) Shreya ye hai hamare forensic expert , Dr. Salunkhe.
Nodding, I shook hands with him and replied 'Aapke baare mai bohot suna hai sir! Aapke saath kaam karke bohot kuch sikhna hai'
Dr. Salunkhe to Abhijeet sir – kitni pyaari bacchi hai. Sikho tum isse kuch!
I giggled while Abhijeet sir ,with a 'huh' , pointed towards dr. Tarika with
Abhijeet (sweetly) – Aur ye hai inki assistant , jo ki inse bhi jyada kabil aur intelligent hai. Aur bohot jald inko apna assistant bana-
Dr. Salunkhe (interrupting) – Abhijeet!!
Abhijeet (nervously) – Are are dr. Sahab aap to phir rooth gaye! Mai mazak kar raha tha!
Dr. Salunkhe – Tum apne ye bekaar ke mazak mere saath na kiya karo!
Abhijeet – Accha accha theek hai ab intro to dene dijiye! (Turning towards me) Haa to ye hai dr. Tarika.
With the intro, she came out from behind the table and shook hands with me with a 'nice meeting you'.
But what caught my attention was that the red thread on her hand was totally pink.
Following the thread with my eyes, I realised that Abhijeet sir's thread is also pink! Which means!!!!!! Yesss!!
My smile widened as I saw the two threads connecting to each other! Soulmates in the house!! Or rather bureau!!
This was like a relief because they already liked each other. So I didn't had to do anything to get them closer. I guess they knew they were already made for each other.
My thoughts broke when Abhijeet sir asked about the clues.
Dr. Salunkhe- Accha accha ye bacchi keh rahi hai is liye bata raha hu! (Pointing at Abhijeet) Varna tumhe to kabhi nai batata!
This made everyone giggle again whereas Abhijeet sir just rolled his eyes with 'haan haan theek hai'.
And soon we started discussing about the clues. But my mind was stuck on two things-
First was that how cute it was that Abhijeet sir and dr. Tarika are soulmates.
And second was that now I was more eager to meet mine! How much I wish that he would have been here at this moment! ...
Soon the discussion was over and now we were about to go back to bureau. All others were almost out when Dr. Salunkhe called Abhijeet sir back.
Before I came out, I heard Dr. Salunkhe asking about Daya sir. But before I could hear any reply, I was out of the lab. About to move, I stopped when I heard Dr. Tarika's voice from behind.
Dr. Tarika – Hi shreya. Andar acche se baat nahi ho paayi.
"Hello dr. Tarika! And it's okay I understand." I replied politely.
Dr. Tarika – Dekho pehle to tum mujhe sirf tarika bulao! Ab tum is team ka hissa ho to hum dono dost hue!
With this, she moved her hand ahead with 'friends?'
"Friends" I replied with wide grin , shaking her hand.
Her pretty brown eyes sparkled at this and she went inside the lab , her curls bouncing with each step, after a bye and a promise to meet soon.
Wow she really is sweet!
Soon Abhijeet sir came out and we both started walking towards the bureau. I was about to say something when my phone rang and I saw Sheena calling me. Oh man I didn't talk with them at all in these days! Shit.
But before accepting the call, I turned towards Abhijeet sir with "Sir"
Abhijeet – hmm?
"Nice choice" And winking naughtily, I rushed from there picking up the call. But I saw his face turning red before going, making me laugh.
Sheena – Are itna khush ho gayi kya mere phone se ke uthate hi hasne lagi?
Me – Chal hatt tu itni khaas nai hai! Vo to mere senior itne cute hai, isiliye hasi aa gayi.
Sheena – ohohoho cutee hai .. kahi...
Me (interrupting) – Chup be aisa kuch nahi hai. Unki soulmate unhe almost mil chuki Hai. Vo sab chhod tu bata phone kaise kiya?
Sheena – Waah waha jaane ke baad ek msg tak nahi hua tujhse aur maine saamne se phone kiya to puchti hai kyu kiya. (Dramatically) Dekh li Teri dosti!
Me (with sarcasm) – Haa to Mai teri tarah free bhi to nahi hu na.
Sheena ( angrily) – Tera matlab-
But before she could show her anger, Acp sir called her so promising to call later , she said bye and cut the call.
Sigh... I have to face some pretty long taunts during that 'later' call. God please save me.
Reaching the bureau, I entered in while I found everyone happily talking. Soon Purvi rushed to me with
Purvi – Kaha reh gayi thi tum Shreya! Abhi Acp sir Ne hum sab ko kitni acchi khabar sunai!!
"Accha kya?" I asked curiously.
Purvi – Yahi ki-
But before she could complete, I heard some footsteps and deep voice from behind as
Voice – Kese ho sab log?

Salut! How are you guys?? I know I know I am pretty late but I have exams after 4 days and they are like career deciding exams! So you gotta keep your curiosity at bay for sometime. And I promise to give regular updates after these exams!
