Chaos Rising:

Isaac paced back and forth in front of the large windows in Derek's new loft as I sat down on the metal curl around staircase in my FAUSTO PUGLISI sleeveless shirt, H&M Wraparound skirt, BCBGeneration "Luca" Suede Bootie and Boho Bangle Bracelet Set with my brunette hair in a messy bun.

"You know, I'm starting not to like this idea. Sounds kinda dangerous." Isaac declared as he paused in the middle of the room to look over at Derek who was sitting reading a book to the side of the room and I rolled my eyes in boredom as I rested my elbows on my knees. "You know what? I definitely don't like this idea, and I definitely don't like him."

"You'll be fine." Derek drawled slowly in annoyance without looking up from his book and Isaac sighed heavily as he looked up at the ceiling before frowning at the Alpha.

"Does it have to be him?"

"He knows how to do it. I don't. Be more dangerous if I tried doing it myself."

"You know Scott doesn't trust him, right? You know, personally, I'd... well, I'd trust Scott."

"Do you trust me?" Derek asked him quietly as he looked up at the Beta questioningly and I looked over at them in interest when I heard the underlying nervous in the Alpha's voice. Isaac glanced over me for a second as I quirked an eyebrow at him and then back at Derek with a small frown on his face.

"Yeah. I still don't like him." Isaac said firmly as he shook his head before going back to pacing in front of the windows and I sighed as I rolled my eyes at him in amusement.

"Nobody likes him."

"I like him." I interjected pointedly as I stood up from the staircase gracefully and Derek looked at me over his shoulder with a faint smirk on his lips.

"Nobody normal likes him." He corrected himself in the same assured voice as he closed his book and I scowled at him playfully as I walked down the stairs as Isaac chuckled at the insult. I opened my mouth to retort with a sarcastic comment but just then the front door to the loft slid open and a familiar person appeared in the doorway as I stopped at the bottom of the stairs with a smile.

"Sophie, boys." Peter greeted us all with a smirk on his face as he walked into the loft and Derek stood up from his chair with a sigh as he placed the book down on the table next to him. "F.Y.I., yes, coming back from the dead has left my abilities somewhat impaired, but the hearing still works. So I hope you're comfortable saying whatever it is that you're feeling straight to my face."

"We don't like you. Now shut up and help us." Derek ordered sternly as he glared slightly at his uncle through greenish eyes and I smirked at them in amusement as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Fair enough." He replied in amusement as he smiled brightly and walked further into the room as I strolled over to where Isaac was standing. The Beta shifted nervously on his feet as he looked cautiously at the ex-Alpha and I placed a hand on his shoulder gently as I sent him a reassuring smile. He sighed shakily as he tried to return the smile before sitting down on the seat in front of him and I sent peter a warn look as he walked over to stand behind Isaac. "Relax. I'll get more out of you if you're calm."

"How do you know how to do this, again?" Isaac asked the older werewolf nervously in a tense voice as he looked over his shoulder at him and I looked up at Peter with a frown on my lips as I stepped back so that I was standing next to Derek.

"It's an ancient ritual used mostly by alphas, since it's a skill that requires quite a bit of practice. One slip and you could paralyse someone. Or kill them."

"You... You've had a lot of practice, though, right?"

"Well, I've never paralysed anyone."

"Wait, does that mean that you..." Isaac trailed off with a sharp gasp as Peter dug his claws into the base of his neck and I grimaced in sympathy as I looked away from the pained look on my friends face. Peter's eyes turned a bright blue as his whole body stiffened and Isaac struggled slightly as the ex-Alpha held him down.

"Wait, I see them." Peter announced quietly in a strained voice as his eyes turned back to their normal teal colour and both of the werewolves seemed to convulse slightly as they made painful grunting sounds. I anxiously nibbled on my lower lip as I watched them with a frown on my lips and Derek crossed his arms over his broad chest as he stood up next to me with a worried expression on his handsome face. After a moment, Peter gasped slightly as he pulled his claws out of the base of Isaac's neck and he stumbled backwards as the Beta doubled over in his seat. I rushed over to Isaac's side to help him sit up as he breathed deeply and Peter staggered over to the lean on the doorframe between rooms with a confused expression on his face.

"What'd you see?" I asked the elder werewolf in a mixture of curiosity and apprehension as I rubbed soothing circles on Isaac's back and Derek walked over to stand in front of us as he watched his uncle.

"It was confusing. Um, im... images. Vague shapes." Peter stuttered slightly in a confused voice as though he was only guessing the answer and I frowned in concern when I noticed his hand shaking slightly before he hid it behind his body so that no one would see his weakness.

"But you saw something."

"Isaac found them." He informed us in a sure voice that was filled with disbelief as he looked around the room without actually seeing anything and Derek immediately stiffened at the mention of his missing Beta's as he stepped forward.

"Erica and Boyd?" the Alpha asked in a hopeful voice as he let his arms fall to his side and I tilted my head to the side as I bit my lip uneasily.

"I barely saw them. I mean, glimpses."

"But you did see them."

"And worse." Peter said quietly as he rubbed his hands together in front of himself and I quirked an eyebrow at him in question because of the vagueness of the statement.

"Deucalion." Derek interpreted knowingly as he pursed his lips together and I looked between the two Hale's with a perplexed frown as Derek sat back down on the seat behind him.

"He was talking to them. Something about time running out."

"What does it mean?" Isaac whispered in a confused voice as he looked at his Alpha and I followed his gaze with my eyes narrowed as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"He's gonna kill them." Derek said in a sure voice as he let his greenish eyes flicker towards us before looking back at Peter and I reached up to pinch the bridge of my nose as I closed my eyes tightly.

"No, no, no, no, no, he didn't say that. He did make them a promise that by the full moon that they'd both be dead." Peter corrected his nephew as I opened my eyes with my lips pursed in annoyance and I looked over at the older werewolf with a plastered on emotionless mask because I didn't want them to see the pain in felt.

"The next full moon?"

"Tomorrow night."

"Awesome. I'll add that to my to-do list." I remarked drily as I shook my head to myself in irritation and started walking over to the table at the side of the room where I had left my handbag earlier. "And as fun as practically torturing Isaac has been, I have to get to school because, unlike everyone else that's involved in the supernatural around here, I actually have goals that focus on something other than whether or not we'll survive the next month." I announced loudly in a tight voice as I picked up my bag without looking at anyone and sighed heavily as I turned back around to face their shocked expressions. "What? I'm allowed to have an opinion."

"Yeah, but you're not normally this vocal about your opinion." Isaac pointed out slowly with a frown on his face and I rolled my eyes at him as I started searching through my bag for my keys. My cell phone started ringing before I could reply to his comment and I saw Scott's name flash on the screen as I pulled it out of my bag.

"Hey, are you with Derek?" my brother greeted me in hurry as I accepted the call and held it up to my ear before I could say anything to him.

"That depends. If I say 'yes' are you going to lecture me? Because if you are then, no, I'm not with Derek. I'm with Isaac and absolutely nowhere near Peter." I replied to him casually as I sent a playful wink in the ex-Alpha's direction and I heard Scott groan slightly through the phone as Peter smirked in amusement.

"I don't want to know. Just ask Derek to come to the school? I need to show him something."

"Fine. I'll play messenger girl. See you later." I told him happily as I hung up the phone with a sigh and then turned to face the current Alpha with a small smirk on my lips. "Derek, you're coming with me to the school to see Scott." I told him firmly with a small smile as I pointed a finger at him and he lifted an eyebrow at me with a slightly amused expression. Isaac stood up from the seat in the middle of the room with a slight groan of pain and I turned to point at him with a stern expression on my face. "Isaac, you're going to bed. You look like you're about to die." I ordered him in a no nonsense tone of voice as he made a sarcastic face at me for my comment and I quirked an eyebrow at him before turning to face Peter. "And, Peter, go do whatever it is you do in your free time. Ready? Break!"

"Who made her the boss?" I heard Isaac complain quietly in a whisper to the others as I spun around on my heel with a smile and sauntered out of the loft without looking back to see that Derek was following me. As soon as I was out of view of the others, my smile faded to a concerned frown and I allowed myself to actually think about the consequences of Erica and Boyd being held by the Alpha pack. I had no idea who the Alpha's were so I had no idea what they were capable of but I had to assume the worse because you had to kill the previous Alpha to gain their Alpha status. I climbed into the driver's seat of my Camaro with a sigh as I leaned my forehead against the steering wheel and closed my eyes tightly as I heard the passenger side door open. I opened my eyes again as I say back up without looking at Derek and turned on the ignition as I reversed out of the parking lot.

"This isn't going to end well." I said pointedly as I looked over at Derek with a blank expression and he sighed heavily as he nodded in agreement. "The Alpha pack doesn't have a reason for keeping two Betas' alive."

"But they are alive. Isaac saw them, Peter saw them in his memory." Derek said forcefully as he stared straight ahead with a locked jaw and I rolled my eyes as I turned back to the road. We drove in silence the rest of the way to the high school as I thought about the situation and gritted my teeth in annoyance because all I wanted was to graduate high school in one piece. I pulled into a vacant parking spot at the front of the school and climbed out quickly as Derek followed my lead. I tilted my head to the side with a purse of my lips as I ignored the other students around me and listened carefully to where Scott was in the school before strolling in that direction. Derek and I walked into the nearly empty classroom where Scott, Stiles, Allison and Lydia were waiting for us.

"Okay, I've delivered the Alpha, what do you want?" I asked Scott with a slight smile as I walked over to one of the desks and gracefully jumped up onto it as I swung my legs carelessly. Derek crossed his arms over his chest as he narrowed his greenish eyes at the young huntress and Scott looked over at me with a disapproving frown.

"What are you wearing?" Scott asked me in annoyance as his dark brown gaze flicked over my outfit and I glanced down at myself in confusion with a frown until I realised he was referring to my short skirt.

"Oh, you mean the neckline? I know, it's a little higher than I normally wear." I commented calmly with a smirk on my lips as I looked over at my brother innocently and both Lydia and Allison stifled giggles as Scott glared at me. "Can we just get on with it? We have class soon."

"Fine." He muttered under his breath as he turned to look over at Derek and the Alpha raised an eyebrow at him in question. "Look that their wrists."

"I don't see anything." Derek said to Scott as he closely examined the discolouration on both Allison and Lydia's wrists and I leaned back on my hands on the desk with an impatient sigh as I rolled my eyes.

"Look again." Scott insisted firmly as he nodded his head towards the two girls and Derek glanced at them dismissively before turning to face Scott with a frown on his handsome face.

"How is a bruise gonna tell me where Boyd and Erica are?"

"It's the same on both sides. Exactly the same."

"It's nothing."

"Pareidolia. Seeing patterns that aren't there." Lydia said knowingly in a bored tone as she studied her manicure and I smirked in amusement everyone looked at her in surprise with raised eyebrows. She glanced up from her nails with a quirked eyebrow and her lips pursed in annoyance as though she was surprised that they didn't know what she was talking about. "It's a subset of apophenia."

"They're trying to help." Scott said to Derek in a hopeless voice as he turned to face the Alpha and Derek scoffed slightly as he raised both of his eyebrows.

"These two. This one, who used me to resurrect my psychotic Uncle. Thank you." He remarked drily as he pointed a finger at Lydia and she smirked back at him a little as I chuckled in amusement. Then he turned to face Allison with a blank expression as he pointed at her and she stared back at him defiantly with her chin held high. "And this one, who shot about 30 arrows into me and my pack. Including Sophie."

"Okay, all right, now, come on. No one died, all right? Look, there may have been a little maiming, okay, a little mangling, but no death. That's what I call an important distinction." Stiles intervened quickly from where he sat on one of the desks next to me and I looked over at him with a small smile on my face.

"My mother died." Allison said quietly to Derek with her face emotionless as she lifted her chin boldly and Derek turned to look at her with the same blank expression on his face.

"Your family's little honour code killed your mother. Not me." Derek stated unsympathetically as he crossed his arms over his chest and I had to clench my jaw to stop myself from divulging the truth to Allison about her mother.

"That girl was looking for Scott. I'm here to help him, not you."

"You wanna help? Find something real." He told her firmly as he leaned forward slightly and then glanced over at Scott almost accusingly before walking towards the door to the classroom. My brother sighed as he hurried after the Alpha and I watched with interest as they stopped near the door.

"Derek... Give her a chance. Okay, they're on our side now." Scott assured Derek softly so that the humans wouldn't overhear what they were saying.

"Well then maybe you should tell her what her mother was actually trying to do that night." Derek said in the same low tone as he gave Scott a pointed look and then glanced over my brother's shoulder to nod at me before strolling out of the classroom.

Allison and I walked down the hallway with our arms linked together as we headed towards the library for our study period and I sipped the coffee that I had brought from the café a few minutes earlier.

"So, how are you adjusting without Jackson?" Allie asked me curiously with a hint of sympathy in her voice and I sighed slightly in irritation because I didn't want any pity but smiled at her tightly anyway.

"I'm fine. I spoke to him last night." I told her nonchalantly as I pushed open the double doors to the library with my shoulder since my hands were full and she smiled at me as I held it open for her. We started making our way to one of the tables in the middle of the room and I sent her a sarcastic smile as we sat down opposite each other. "What I really need is a new guy best friend. Where can I find a hot, cocky blonde with an amazing jawline?"

"I know someone like that!" she stated with a playful gasp as she pretended to be surprised by the revelation and I matched her excited gasp as I placed my hand over my heart.

"Ooh, Isaac!"

"Are you sure he wants to be your Jackson nicotine patch?" she asked me in amusement as she reached into her bag to grab her laptop and I quirked an eyebrow at her with a smirk on my lips.

"Who wouldn't want to be friends with me? I'm awesome." I said in a mock-offended tone of voice as I tilted my head to the side with a pout and she giggled at me as she shook her head to herself. I smiled to myself as I sipped my coffee and watched as Allison turned on her laptop with a determined expression on her pretty face. "I thought you told your head you were staying out of the supernatural."

"I did. But I can't just stand by and do nothing." Allie replied absently as she started typing with her lips pursed together and I leaned forward on the table slightly so that my elbows were resting on it with a sigh. I could understand where Allison's father was coming from not wanting his daughter to get involved in the supernatural because while I loved being a werewolf, I just wanted to be as normal as possible. I took a sip of my coffee just as the atmosphere in the library shifted slightly and I looked over at the door to see the new twins sauntering into the room.

"I want one." I murmured softly with a smirk on my lips as I tilted my head to the side a little and Allison looked up at me in a mixture of surprise and confusion until she followed my gaze over to the twins.

"Which one?" she asked me with a coy smile on her face as she looked back over at me with her dark brown eyes sparkling and I broke my gaze with the twins to quirk an eyebrow at her.

"The straight one, obviously." I drawled as I watched in amusement as Danny entered the library and one of the twins looked over at him with a small smile causing him to distractedly bump into another student. I chuckled lowly as I ducked my head with a smile at my friend and shook my head at him as he blushed in embarrassment while hurrying to sit down at one of the tables.

"What if it's not a symbol? What if it's actually a logo?" Allison asked herself quietly as she reached across the table to take the coffee cup from my hand and I made an indignant noise in the back of my throat as I frowned at her.

"Or it's nothing." I said to her as I snatched my coffee back from her with my eyes narrowed and she grimaced apologetically as I stood up from my seat. "I'll leave you to your research, Sherlock."

"No, don't go. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. I'll see you later. Love you!" I called over my shoulder to her with a smile as I strolled towards the double doors and she waved at me before going back to her laptop with a determined expression. I froze when I felt someone's gaze burning into my back as I frowned slightly and I glanced over my shoulder at the straight twin that was leaning against the bookcase with a smirk on his lips. I sent him a flirty smirk back as I quirked an eyebrow at him before I turned around and sauntered out of the library with a confident stride. I heard footsteps following after me as I walked down the empty hallway towards my locker and I smiled to myself as I stopped in front of my metal locker. I glanced over my shoulder curiously to see one of the twins approaching me with the same cocky smirk on his handsome face and I opened my locker carelessly as he leaned against the locker next to mine.

"Hi. I don't think we've been introduced." He said to me in a confident voice as I ignored the butterflies in my stomach and glanced at him dismissively before turning back to my locker. "I'm Aiden."

"I'm not interested."

"Oh, that's the first lie in our relationship!" he exclaimed dramatically as he leaned the side of his head against the metal with a smirk and I couldn't help the small smile that tugged at my lips as I turned to face him.

"Our 'relationship' is non-existent." I reminded him with a small smile as I patted his chest gently and he grinned at me as he took a step forward into my personal space. A familiar scent drifted to me as I looked into Aiden's chocolate brown eyes and I stiffened instantly as I felt my blood run cold. The pieces of the puzzle that were right in front of me suddenly started to fit together and I realised exactly who Aiden and his brother were. I let out a humourless chuckle as I ducked my head before looking back up with a slight smile and stepped backwards as he frowned in confusion at my sudden change in demeanour. "I just figured out who you are, Aiden."

"And who am I?" he asked me in an amused voice as I slammed my locker door shut and I started walking backwards away from him with a tight smile on my lips.

"Someone I don't want anything to do with." I said firmly as I plastered a blank expression on my face and I noticed his eyes narrow with realisation as I turned around. I shook my head at my own stupidity for not putting two and two together before now as I hurried to the find somewhere private. I turned into the boy's locker room because I knew that no one would be in there at the moment while classes were in session and I quickly checked to make sure that the room was empty. I leaned my back against the cool metal of the lockers as I closed my eyes in exhaustion and mentally berated myself for feeling dismissive of the danger around us when everyone else was bending over backwards to help. I heard the locker room door open with a soft click and I immediately stiffened when I caught the familiar scent of another werewolf enter the room. I slowly opened my eyes to see Aiden leaning against the opposite set of lockers with a smirk etched onto his lips that I was starting to think was permanent and I sighed heavily as I pushed myself off of the locker with my eyes narrowed.

"You know, I was just starting to like you." Aiden murmured with mock-sadness in his voice as he looked me directly in the eye and lengthened his claws as his eyes glowed a bright scarlet red of an Alpha.

"What are you going to do, Aiden? Kill me here? Slash my throat with your claws? I'm pretty sure the blood spray would make it nearly impossible to hide."

"Practice makes perfect." He said menacingly as he stepped forward threateningly and I ducked just as he swiped at me with his clawed hand. I blocked the punched he aimed at my stomached as I grunted slightly at the sudden attack and he snarled at me as he used his other hand to grab my throat. His hand curled around my neck as I gasped for breath and he pushed my back roughly against the metal locker behind us. His broad chest rumbled slightly with a low growl as I gritted my teeth so that I wouldn't show any weakness and I narrowed my eyes at him as he tightened his grip so that I gasped for breath. Aiden was so close to me that his breath mixed with mine as we both stared at each other heatedly and his eyes faded from fiery red to their normal chocolate brown as I relaxed slightly in his hold so that it would hurt less. His claws retracted but he still kept hold of my throat as he stepped forward slightly so that I was pressed firmly between his muscular body and the cold metal lockers behind me as I lifted my chin defiantly. I heard the sound of footsteps heading in our direction and I panicked slight because I knew that we could get caught fighting in the boy's locker room. I turned my head in the direction of the door at the same time Aiden did as he loosened his hold on my throat cautiously and the footsteps got loudly as the sound of muddled voices joined in outside the locker room. I pursed my lips in annoyance as the door opened loudly followed by the sound of footsteps approaching and I grabbed Aiden's chin roughly before pressing my lips against his passionately. He froze in surprise as I grabbed him forward slightly and his hand shot out to rest on the locker besides my head to give him balance. After a moment the shock wore off as he responded to the kiss eagerly and he wrapped his free arm around my waist to pull my flush against his body. I gasped in surprise at the sudden movement as he took the opening to connect our tongues together in a battle for dominance and I gripped his shirt in one hand as the butterflies in my stomach went wild.

"Why am I not surprised?" a familiar voice asked in amusement from the side of the locker room and my senses came back to me suddenly as I pushed Aiden off of me as I cleared my throat gently. I faked an innocent smile as I turned around to face Danny and he quirked an eyebrow at me as I straightened my shirt.

"Not a word." I warned him firmly as I pointed a finger at him threateningly and he held up his hands in surrender without a word as I stalked past him out of the locker room. I huffed slightly at myself as I strolled out into the vacant hallway just as the bell rang to indicate that class was over and students started filing out of classrooms noisily.

"Scott, I don't know. I don't care. All right? This girl... Our moms were best friends before mine died, all right? We used to take frickin' bubble baths together when we were three. I gotta find her." I heard Stiles say somewhere down the hallway as I wiped my lip with my thumb to make sure I'm lipstick wasn't smudged and I started walking in the direction I heard them.

"Then we need Isaac to remember." Scott stated in a calm voice as their voices got closer to where I was and I bit back my guilt at kissing the enemy as I took a deep breath so that Scott wouldn't think something was wrong.

"How? Peter and Derek couldn't do it. You know any other werewolves with a better trick?"

"Maybe I do. Sophie!" my brother called out to me loudly over the chatting students in the hallway and I turned to face him with a fake-surprised expression as he hurried over to me with Stiles trailing after him. I forced a small smile at them as I continued walking down the hallways towards my locker and the boys moved so that I had one on each side of me. "You know how Peter wasn't able to get Isaac to remember?"

"I was there, Scott." I reminded him with a roll of my eyes as I linked my arms through each of theirs and he sighed slightly as he nudged my side to be serious.

"Right. Do you know any other way to get him to remember?"

"Hm. Actually, I think I do."

I watched as Derek, Stiles and Scott emptied large bags of ice into a metal bath tub in the back room of the animal clinic and I stood to the side of the room with Deaton as Isaac shifted nervously next to me. I knew that he was feeling anxious about putting his trust in me and Deaton because he wasn't used to trusting anyone with good reason.

"Obviously, it's not going to be particularly... comfortable. But if we can slow your heart rate down enough, you'll slip into a trance-like state." Deaton explained calmly to the Beta as he looked at him earnestly and I crossed my arms over my chest as Isaac looked at me for assurance.

"Like being hypnotized." Isaac stated as he nodded slowly in understanding and he started walking over to the bath tub full of ice.

"Exactly. You'll be half transformed. It'll let us access your subconscious mind." I told him as I followed him slowly and he crouched down at the side of the bath tub with a frown on his lips.

"How slow does his heart rate need to be?" Scott asked me curiously as he dumped the last bag of ice into the bath tub and I glanced over at Deaton hesitantly before looking back at my brother.

"Very slow."

"Okay, well, how slow is very slow?" Derek asked me with slight irritation in his voice at my vague answer as he turned to look at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Nearly dead." I said nonchalantly as I shrugged my shoulders innocently and the three other werewolves looked at me with slightly shocked expressions. Isaac grimaced as he looked away from me and slowly lowered his hand to the freezing cold water before inhaling sharply as he removed it.

"It's safe, though, right?" Isaac asked me hopefully as he looked up at me and I licked my lip nervously as I walked forward to stand at the end of the bath tub with my arms crossed over my chest.

"Do you want me to answer honestly?"

"No. No, not really." He said quietly with a sigh as he looked away from me towards the ice water and I put my hand on his shoulder sympathetically. There was a loud snap sound from behind me and I frowned slightly as I turned around to see Stiles pulling on a long sleeved rubber glove.

"What?" Stiles asked when he saw everyone looking at him blankly and I rolled my eyes at him as he ripped the glove off of his hand sheepishly.

"Look, if it feels too risky, you don't have to do this." I assured Isaac as I turned to face him with an earnest expression while Derek and Scott nodded in agreement with my words. The Beta looked at me silently for a second as he thought about it and then sighed loudly as he lifted his shirt off over his head. I tilted my head to the side in appreciation of his muscular torso with a quirked eyebrow and he smirked back at me as he tossed his shirt to the side of the room.

"Stop looking at me like that." Isaac demanded in mock seriousness as he pointed a finger at me warningly and I rolled my eyes at him with a smirk as I held my hands up in surrender. Scott scowled at both of us as he gently pushed Isaac towards the bath tub away from me and I chuckled lightly at my brother's overprotective attitude as I hugged his arm. Isaac stepped into the bath tub as his face distorted from the shocking frigid water and his breath came out in sharp gasps as Scott and Derek both pushed him under the water. I grimaced in sympathy as Isaac let out a loud roar and his fangs extended while his normally steely blue eyes turned bright amber.

"Get him back under. Hold him." I ordered firmly as Isaac struggled under Derek and Scott's hold and stepped forward to help them if they needed it because I knew that the Beta needed to be basically unconscious for this to work. The water continued to splash outside of the tub until Isaac suddenly went still at the behind of the water and when he was released, he floated to the surface with his eyes closed, his breathing shallow and his skin a sickly pale colour.

"Now, remember, only Sophie can talk to him. Too many voices will confuse him and draw him out." Deaton told the others sternly as I turned to face him in surprise that he wanted me to lead the session because I had never done anything like this before but he just offered me a small smile and nodded towards the bath tub.

"Isaac? Can you hear me?" I asked softly in the calmest voice I could manage as I crouched down next to the tub and Deaton stood behind me to oversee the experiment.

"Yes. I can hear you." Isaac said almost robotically as Scott and Derek stood on either side of the tub in case they needed to hold the Beta under again.

"This is Sophie. I'd like to ask you a few questions. Is that all right?"

"Yes."

"I want to ask you about the night you found Erica and Boyd. I want you to remember it for me in as vivid detail as possible, like you're actually there again."

"I, I don't wanna do that. I don't... I don't wanna do that. I don't wanna do that."

"Isaac, it's all right. Just relax. They're just memories. You can't be hurt by a memory."

"I don't wanna do that. I don't wanna do that." Isaac repeated over and over again as he started moving slightly in the water and the lights in the examination room started flickering as I looked around in concern.

"Relax. Relax. Good." I said soothingly as I glanced at Deaton to make sure that I was doing this right and he nodded at me reassuringly as Isaac stopped moving once more. "Now let's go back to that night. To the place you found Erica and Boyd. Can you tell me what you see? Is there some kind of building? A house?"

"It's not... it's not a house. It's stone. I think marble."

"That's perfect. Can you give me any other descriptors?"

"It's dusty, so empty. Like an abandoned building? Someone's here. Someone's here." Isaac said in a panicked voice as he blindly grabbed onto Scott's arm and the lights flickered again as I glanced around the room before focusing on the Beta. "No, no, no, they see me, they see me!"

"They're Just memories. You won't be hurt by your memories. Just relax. Relax. Good. Now tell us what you see. Tell us everything." I told him slowly as he loosened his grip on my brother's arm and Scott sent me a grateful look as he massaged where he'd been grabbed.

"Boyd. I hear him. He's talking about the full moon, about being out of control when the moon rises."

"Is he talking to Erica?"

"I think so, I can't... I can't see her, I ca... I can't... I can't see either of them."

"Can you hear anything else?"

"They're worried. They're worried what they'll do during the moon. They're...Worried that they're gonna hurt each other."

"If they're locked in together on the full moon, they're gonna tear each other apart." Derek informed us quietly so that he wouldn't break Isaac's concentration and I sighed as glanced up at him with a small frown.

"Isaac, we need to find them right now. Can you see them?" I asked him in a stronger voice as I stood up from my crouch but kept my hands resting on the edge of the bath tub. Do you know what kind of room it is? Is there any kind of a marker? A number on a door? A sign?"

"No." Isaac murmured softly as he stared blankly ahead at the ceiling and then he let out a sharp gasp as he shot straight up into sitting position with wide terrified steely blue eyes. "They're here. They... They... No. They see me. They found me. They're here!"

"This isn't working. Isaac, where are you?" Derek asked loudly as he glanced over at me and then back down at Isaac who was trembling with fear. I shot the Alpha a reproachful look as I stood up quickly because I knew that it wouldn't work if you pushed too hard and I looked over at Deaton as he stepped forward to stand next to me.

"I can't see them. It's too dark!"

"Just tell me where you are. Isaac, where are you? Just tell me where you are."

"You are confusing him. You need to stop. His heart rate... he could go into shock. Derek, let him go!" I interrupted sternly as I glared at him with narrowed eyes but he ignored me as he shook Isaac's shoulders slightly.

"Isaac, where are you? What did you see?"

"There's a dead body. It's Erica." Isaac murmured quietly in a whisper before his eyes rolled back into his head and I felt my eyes go wide as I stared at his unconscious form. Everything was silent for a few moments before Isaac suddenly inhale sharply and he sat up fully awake now with his eyes wide. "A vault! It's a bank vault! I saw it! I saw the name. It's, uh... B-beacon hills first national bank. It's, um... it's an abandoned bank, and they're keeping them locked inside, inside the vault. What?"

"You don't remember what you said right before you came out of it, do you?" Stiles asked him quietly as I moved to help Isaac climb out of the tub and Scott handed him a towel as he shook his head in answer to the question. "You said when they captured you that they dragged you into a room and that there was a body in it. Erica. You said it was Erica."

"Come on." I said to Isaac as I wrapped an arm around his waist and started to lead to out of the room so that he could use the hot shower in the other room.

The next night, I was standing next to the spiral metal staircase where Peter was sitting in Derek's loft while Stiles, Derek and Scott went over the blueprints to the Beacon Hills National bank. I leaned my side against the railing as I looked down at my D&G Underwear Vest, Topshop 'Scarlet' Faux Leather Biker Jacket 8, MANGO Super slim-fit black jeans and Sergio Rossi Patent Leather Flat Boot with my hair in a messy bun.

"Okay. You see this? This is how they got in. It's a rooftop air conditioning vent. Leads down inside into the wall of the vault, which is here. Okay? One of the robbers was lowered into this shaft Now, that space is so small, it took him about 12 hours to drill into that wall, which is stone, by the way. Then throughout the rest of the night, they siphoned the cash up to the guys back on the roof through that one little shaft in the wall. Boom." Stiles explained almost excitedly as he circled all the points on the blueprint that he mentioned and I rolled my eyes at him as I shared a bored look with Peter.

"Can we fit in there?" Scott asked him with a slight frown as he looked at his best friend and Stiles nodded his head as he waved his hand over the map on the table.

"Yes, we can, but very, very barely. And they also patched the wall, obviously, so we're gonna need a drill of some kind. I'm thinking maybe a diamond bit..."

"Look, forget the drill." Derek interrupted quietly as he shook his head and Stiles turned to him with an irritated expression on his face.

"Sorry?"

"If I go in first, how much space do I have?"

"What do you... what do you think you're gonna do, Derek? You gonna punch through the wall?" Stiles asked him in mockingly as though he didn't believe the Alpha could do it and he threw his pen down on the table as he faced Derek.

"Yes, Stiles, I'm gonna punch through the wall." Derek stated with a slight smirk on his handsome face as he turned his body to face the human and I pushed myself off of the railing so that I could see them better.

"Okay, okay, big guy. Let's see it. Let's see that fist. Big, old fist. Make it, come on. Get it out there. Don't be scared. Big, bad wolf. Yeah, look at that. Okay, see this? That's maybe 3 inches of room to gather enough force to punch through solid co..." Stiles taunted the Alpha as he held his hand up a few inches from Derek's fist and then trailing off with a whimper when Derek punched his hand. I ducked my head with a chuckle as Derek shook his head at the human and Peter smirked in amusement next to me. "He could do it."

"I'll get through the wall. Who's following me down?"

"Don't look at me. I'm not up to fighting speed yet, and honestly, with Isaac out of commission, you're not looking at very good odds for yourself." Peter said calmly as he clasped his hands together on his lap and looked over at Derek with a pointed expression as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"So I'm supposed to just let them die?"

"One of them is already dead."

"We don't know that."

"Do I have to remind you what we're up against here? A pack of alphas. All of them, killers. And if that's not enough to scare your testicles back into your stomach, try to remember that two of them combine bodies to form one giant Alpha. I'm sure Erica and Boyd were sweet kids. They're gonna be missed." He commented insincerely with a slight sigh as he looked away from the others and I shook my head at him with a small smile on my lips.

"Could someone kill him again, please?" Stiles asked no one in particular as he glanced around at all of us in turn and I scowled at him as Peter glared at him through narrowed eyes before looking back at Derek.

"Derek, seriously? Not worth the risk."

"Sophie?" Derek asked me as he ignored his uncle pointedly and I looked over at him with a guilty grimaced on my face as I stepped backwards a little.

"Sorry. I'm with Peter on this one." I informed him with a shrug of my shoulders and he lifted an eyebrow at me in surprise as Scott and Stiles both spun around to look at me. "Don't get me wrong, Boyd and Erica were my friends and everything, but walking into an unknown situation without adequate backup? I'm not willing to risk my life or Scott's for a maybe."

"What about you?" Derek asked Scott almost pleadingly as he turned his attention to my twin brother and I sighed because I knew that if Scott decided to go then I would be going as well to make sure that he was safe.

"Yeah, if you want me to come..." Stiles started to say nonchalantly as he leaned on the table in front of him and I scrunched my nose up slightly at the misunderstanding.

"Not you."

"Scott…" he trailed off with a nod of understanding as he pointed at his best friend and Scott glanced over his shoulder at me before turning back to face Derek.

"I don't know about Erica. But if Boyd's still alive, we have to do something. We have to try. But who's the other girl? The one locked in there with Boyd?" Scott asked curiously as he looked at each of us with a frown and I sighed heavily as I rolled my neck with a pout on my lips.

"Oh, I need a day without a felony." I commented playfully as I rubbed the back of my neck and Peter chuckled softly as he stood up from the stairs. I shot him a small glare over my shoulder as I stepped away from the staircase and he met me at the bottom with a raised eyebrow. "But look who I'm talking to, Beacon Hills very own serial killer."

"What are you wearing anyway?" he asked me in amusement as he looked at my outfit with a smirk and I glanced down at myself with a frown as my arms went out to my sides.

"What? I'm going on a bank heist, Peter."

"This isn't an Ocean's movie, Sophie. You have to be careful."

"I'm always careful."

"And I'm a nun." He countered with a roll of his teal coloured eyes and I pressed my lips together to keep from laughing at his comment. Peter smirked at me as he placed his hands on my shoulders and looked me right in the eye as he squeezed my shoulders gently. "Be careful. We have no idea what this Alpha pack is capable of."

"I'll be careful." I assured him sincerely as I nodded my head once firmly and he searched my eyes for the truth before he nodded back once as he pressed a kiss to my forehead.

Scott, Derek and I slowly walked into the newly punched hole in the vault wall and I looked around nervously as I heard a low growling coming from the back of the vault.

"Boyd? Boyd? It's me. It's Derek." the Alpha announced softly when Boyd appeared from behind a wall with his eyes growling golden amber and I prepared myself for a fight when his growl echoed through the vault. I heard a soft vibrating sound coming from behind me and I turned around to see Scott holding his cell phone up to his ear.

"Stiles, now is not the best time." Scott said quietly into the phone as I stepped back next to him so that I could hear well because I knew that it had to be important if Stiles was calling in the middle of this.

"Scott! Scott! No, listen to me, okay? Look, you gotta get outta there. Look, the walls of the vault are made with a mineral called hecatolite. It scatters the moonlight." Stiles told him in a rushed voice as I felt my eyes go wide and I turned to look back at Boyd with terror running through my veins. "Look, it keeps the moonlight out, okay? They haven't felt the full moon in months."

"Okay, think of it like the gladiators in the Roman colosseum. They used to starve the lions for three days, making them more vicious, more out of control. Deucalion has kept them from shifting for three full moons, diminishing their tolerance to it. Scott, they're gonna be stronger... More savage, more bloodthirsty, Scott, they're the lions. They're the starved lions, and you, Sophie and Derek just stepped into the colosseum." Peter explained quickly as I groaned slightly in annoyance that this had turned out even more dangerous than originally planned and Scott hung up the phone as he glanced at me.

"You so owe me, Scott." I told him pointedly as I narrowed my eyes at him and he nodded in agreement as he reached for my hand. I pulled him forward quickly towards where Derek was standing and the Alpha glanced over at us when we stopped next to him. "Derek, we got a problem, a really big problem."

"What…" he started to ask me in confusion just as another set of growls echoed throughout of vault and we all turned our attention to the other werewolf that was approaching us slowly. Their features slowly became more visible in the darkness as they stopped next to Boyd and I stifled a surprised gasp when I recognised them instantly.

"Cora?"

"Cora?" Derek and I both asked softly at the same time as I stared wide eyed the brunette like I had seen a ghost because for me it was the truth. I squeezed Scott's hand tightly as Cora's gaze flickered over me to me and then fell back onto her older brother.

"Derek, get out. Get out now!" Cora warned us lowly in a growl as she clenched her fists and I stumbled back slightly at the sound of her voice after so many years. The sound of the vault door opening jerked me out of my stupor and I turned my head to see Ms Morell standing in the doorway with a blank expression. She bent down slowly as I noticed that the vault had a ring of mountain ash around it and she quickly completed the circle before standing back up. I scoffed quietly when I realised that she was the emissary for the Alpha pack and she met my gaze almost apologetically before sauntering out of the vault. The growls coming from Boyd and Cora intensified as I looked back over at them and Scott started pulling me behind one of the walls as Derek followed quickly.

"You know her?" Scott asked us in disbelief as I closed my eyes and leaned my head back on the wall for a second to absorb all that I had just discovered.

"She's my sister, my younger sister." Derek answered for us as he snuck a look behind the wall and I opened my eyes to share a confused glance with the Alpha.

"What the hell is she doing here?"

"Like I have a clue. I thought she was dead!"

"Look out!" I heard Allison shout loudly but I didn't have time to do anything more than frown in confusion because Boyd came changing at us and I quickly stepped in front of Scott protectively only to get thrown across the room. I let out a grunt of pain as my back collided with the solid wall and before I could get up, Boyd had tossed me carelessly against the other wall. I grimaced in pain as I landed on the ground and Scott stepped in front of Boyd as he started towards me again. I watched with a horrified expression as Boyd dug his claws into Scott's abdomen and then slowly dragged his body up the wall as I struggled to stand up.

"No! Don't break the seal!" I heard Derek call to someone who I assumed was Allison because she was the only other person there but I didn't turn to check as Scott started coughing blood. A sharp pain erupted from my side as I tried to stand up and I cried out in pain as I collapsed back to the ground. Tears sprung to my tear as I watched Boyd suddenly stiffen before dropping Scott to the ground and turning to face the entrance of the vault. I crawled over to Scott's side as the two rabid Beta's exited the vault and I felt my eyes widened with panic as I tried to get to my feet. I gasped slightly as I felt the wound on my side start to heal and Scott stumbled to his feet as he looked at me in concern. I nodded at him reassuringly as I checked him over for injures and he nodded back at me to let me know he was fine. I looked over at the entrance of the vault to see Allie watching us in concern and I felt a wave of anger at her as I stalked over to her side as I ignored the pain shooting up my side.

"What were you thinking, Allison?!" I asked her angrily as I grabbed her arm roughly with a glare and she gaped at me for a second in surprise. Scott leaned against the vault doorframe and Derek stood behind us with scowl directed at the young huntress.

"That I had to do something." Allison answered me heatedly as she ripped her arm out of my grip and I shook my head at her in denial as I stepped backwards.

"She saved our lives." Scott insisted harshly as he leaned his head back against the metal door frame in pain and I looked over at him with my lips pursed as I ran my hand through my now loose brunette hair.

"Yeah, and what do you think they're gonna do out there? Do you have any idea what we just set free?" Derek asked loudly as he threw a hand in Allison's direction with a glare scoff and I put my head in my hands as I groaned slightly from the pain in my side.

"You want to blame me? Well, I am not the one turning teenagers into killers." Allie retorted coldly as she narrowed her dark brown eyes at the Alpha and I felt my hands shake slightly as I gently lifted my blood soaked shirt to reveal the three gashes on my side.

"No. No, that's just the rest of your family."

"I made mistakes. Gerard is not my fault."

"And what about your mother?"

"What do you mean?" Allison asked in confusion as she faltered slightly with a blink and I looked up from my wound with a blank expression as I slowly covered it back up.

"Tell her, Scott." I demanded quietly as I glanced over at him with a pointed look and he sighed slightly as he pressed his lips together in a tight line. Allie furrowed her forehead at me in confusion as her lower lips trembled slightly and then she turned her attention to my brother with a steely glint in her dark brown eyes.

"What do they mean, Scott? What do they mean?"
