"I looked everywhere. It's like he just walked away. Left his car, his dog." Scott explained calmly as he opened his locker in the boy's locker room and I sat down on the bench across from him as Stiles leaned his side against the locker next to my brother. I had already changed into my Reebok Sports bra, LIJA Ultimate Drawstring Capri Pant, Reebok Sports jacket and Sketchers Women's Gratis in Motion Grey Running Sneaker with my long brunette hair up in a ponytail.
"Okay. Was he, like... could he have been a virgin maybe? Did he look like a virgin? Was he, you know, virginal?" Stiles asked in a hurried voice as he licked his lips nervously with a slightly frantic look in his eyes and I rolled my eyes at him in amusement as he shifted on his feet. Scott had informed me the night before that Stiles thought that the recent murders were ritualistic human sacrifices and had received the Threefold Death like in the ancient rituals.
"No, definitely not. Deaton makes me have sex with all of his clients. It's a new policy." Scott joked with a serious expression on his face as he pulled on his jacket and I ducked my head with a smile as I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from laughing. My brother chuckled in amusement at his own joke as he shook his head but then saw the blank expression on his best friends face and sighed heavily as he stopped laughing. "No, I don't know if he was a virgin. And why are you talking like he's already dead? He's just missing."
"Missing and presumed dead because he's probably a virgin, Scott. And you know who else is a virgin? Me. I'm a virgin, okay? And you know what that means? It means that my lack of sexual experience is now literally a threat to my life. Okay, I need to have sex, like, right now. Someone needs to have sex with me, like, today. Like, someone needs to sex me right now!" he exclaimed wildly as he waved his arms around agitatedly with a frown on his face and I covered my mouth with my hand to stop the laughter that threatened to escape me as the locker next to Stiles' head slammed shut.
"All right, I'll do it." A familiar voice said calmly as Stiles jumped in surprise at the sudden noise and Stiles spun around to face Danny with a shocked look on his face as his mouth fell open.
"What?"
"Come to my place at 9:00. Plan to stay the night. I like to cuddle."
"Oh. That was so sweet. Are you kidding?" He asked in a touched voice as he pressed a hand to his chest and I rolled my eyes at him as Scott pressed his lips together to stop from laughing.
"Yes, I'm kidding." Danny replied with a roll of his eyes as he walked pass him and I smiled at him brightly as he shook his head at Stiles gullibility. Danny broke into a small smile as he winked in my direction and I giggled a little under my breath as he strolled over to the other side of the room.
"Okay, you know, you don't toy with a guy's emotions like that, Danny. It's not attractive, all right?" Stiles called out after him jokingly as Scott laughed at his best friend and I stood up from the bench with a smirk as Stiles squinted in my direction. "Hey, Sophie. You look good today."
"What?" I asked him in confusion as I turned to face him with a frown and he grinned at me crookedly as he waggled his eyebrow suggestively. I stared at him incredulously for a second before realisation hit me and I broke out in loud laughter as I threw my head back. He narrowed his eyes at me with an offended expression as Scott tried to suppress a grin and I bit the inside of my cheek to stop from laughing at him as I wiped a tear from my eye. "I'm sorry. I'm not laughing, I swear."
"Really? 'Cause that sounded a lot like laughter. Didn't that sound like laughter, Scott?"
"It did. It was a lot like laughter. You basically sounded like a hyena." Scott said in amusement with a nod of his head as he smiled slightly and Stiles gestured at him with his hand as he glared at me affronted.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Stiles. It's just that I can't sleep with you. I love you, I do, but it'd be sleeping with Scott. You're my brother." I told him sincerely as I walked over to stand in front of him with a small smile on my lips and he continued to stare at me with narrowed eyes for a second before he sighed. He nodded his head in agreement as he rolled his eyes at me and I grinned widely as I stepped up to press a kiss to his cheek in a sisterly fashion. "I love you, you weirdo."
"I love you too." Stiles said with a smirk as he wrapped his arms around my in a hug and I returned the embrace with a light chuckle escaping my lips as I pulled back from him. I patted his cheek gently with a smile as I stepped backwards and Scott cleared his throat pointedly behind me as I spun around to face her. I quirked an eyebrow at him in question as I stand in between the two of them and he rolled his dark brown eyes at me as he held his arms out wide in expectation.
"I love you, Scott." I told him honestly with a roll of my eyes as I stepped willingly into his arms and he wrapped me in an embrace as I hugged him back.
"I love you too." Scott said softly as he pressed a chaste kiss to my cheek and I winked at him as I pulled out of the embrace with a small smile. I patted his cheek gently like I had done to Stiles as he scrunched his nose up at me and I grabbed my running jacket from the bench I had been sitting on as I sighed slightly.
"I'm going to wait outside." I said to them as I started walking towards the other side of the room and they mumbled something unintelligible as I strolled out of the boy's locker room. the morning air was brisk as I walked over to the start of the trail we were going to be running and I looked around curiously to see I was the first one out there waiting.
"Well, hello there." An unwelcome familiar voice greeted me from behind as I stretched my arms above my head and I rolled my eyes as I let my arms dropped to my sides. I didn't even bother to turn around to face him as I stretched my arms out in front of me and I tried to ignore the eruption of butterflies in my stomach at the mere sound of his voice.
"Adam." I greeted him by the wrong name dismissively as I smirked to myself and he let out a breathy chuckle as he stepped closer so that I could feel the heat radiating off his body onto my back.
"It's Aiden."
"It's irrelevant."
"Come on, Sophie. Is that how you treat everyone you kiss?" he asked me almost mockingly in a quiet voice so that he wasn't overheard and I scoffed a little as I let my arms fall to my sides again.
"That kiss was to distract people from the fact that you were trying to kill me, Aiden. It didn't mean anything." I insisted softly as I turned my head to the side slightly to look at him from the corner of my eye and his warm breath hit my cheek as he let his hand slid over my hip sensually. I stiffened immediately as I inhaled sharply with a quick glance around to make sure no one was watching and Aiden leaned in closer so that his lips brushed gently against the shell of my ear.
"Just because it didn't mean anything, doesn't mean you didn't feel anything."
"You wanna know what I feel?" I asked him breathlessly as I tried to keep my heart from racing at the contact he was giving me and I felt him nodded slightly against my skin as his hot breath made me fight a shiver. "I feel this little fascination you seem to have is very inconvenient for me."
"Hm. Fascination, attraction. You can call it whatever you like, kitten. It will happen soon enough." Aiden said in a confident whisper as I instantly glowered at the pet name more than the insinuation and I gently placed my hand over his where it rested on my hip possessively as I pursed my lips together.
"'Kitten'?" I repeated in a tight voice as I glared out at nothing in front of me and took a deep breath as I plastered the sweetest smile I could muster onto my lips. I slowly turned around in his grasp to face him with an innocent smile as his chocolate brown eyes twinkled with mischief and he smirked cockily at me as I seductively ran both of my hands up his chest to rest on his muscular shoulders. Aiden's smirked seemed to widen smugly as he placed his other hand on my hip roughly and I ignored the tightening in my stomach as I smirked back at him before quickly lifting my knee into his stomach. He grunted in pain as he bent over in surprise at the sudden movement and I chuckled lowly as I held him upright so that no one would see him hunched over in pain. I licked my lip in satisfaction as I leaned in so that my lips brushed against his ear and he narrowed his eyes at me as he glowered. "Kitten? Honey, I'm a werewolf." I whispered huskily into his ear as I ran my hand up to cup his chin and roughly turned his head to look at me directly in the eye with a blank expression on my face. His chocolate brown eyes darkened with lust as he gazed at me like he was seeing me for the first time and I stared back at him defiantly as I realised how close our bodies actually were. My gaze drifted down to his lips automatically as he slowly loosened his tight grip on my hips so that his hands were just resting there instead of painfully digging into my skin. His thumb gently grazed the skin of my hip just above the elastic over my pants as I moved my gaze back up to his eyes and I bit down on my lower lip instinctively as his warm breath mixed with mine.
"Aiden!" someone called out from behind us as he started to lean in slightly and I instantly snapped back to reality as I blinked in shock at what I had almost done. Aiden swore under his breath as I hurried back a step and I glanced over his shoulder to see his twin brother watching us with a smirk on his lips. I started walking backwards as I tried to stop my heart from racing like an idiot and I quickly turned around with a frown as I internally berated myself for what I had almost done. "What the hell was that?" he heard Aiden's twin whisper in a mixture of amusement and suspicion as I walked away from them and I almost froze to listen but forced myself to keep walk in the opposite direction.
"Shut up, Ethan." Aiden hissed harshly to his brother as I came to a stop near the entrance to the boy's locker room and I heard Ethan laughed faintly in the distance as I waited for Scott, Stiles and Isaac. I crossed my arms over my chest with a frown on my lips as I kept my eyes pointedly away from the Alpha twins and the door opened as people filed out of the locker room noisily.
"Okay, you lard asses! Go, go, go!" Coach shouted loudly as he waved a hand towards the trail and then blew sharply on the whistle hanging around his neck. I sighed as I started walking slowly towards the start of the trail and looked around for any sign of my brother or friends but couldn't see them. Everyone started running at different speeds down the dirt path but I just stood with my arms crossed over my chest at the entrance until they had all disappeared from sight and I smiled to myself as I took off at a jog knowing full well that I could outrun any of those idiots. I focused solely on the unbalanced terrain underneath my feet as I ran at a steady jog and I concentrated on my rhythmic breathing so that my heart rate stayed at the same level. I vaguely heard low growling in the distance up ahead as I furrowed my forehead in confusion and then realisation hit me that Isaac hadn't known that the Alpha twins were at school because he'd been at home recovering since the start of the semester. I internally cursed to myself as I picked up my pace until I came to a curve in the trail where there was a steep embankment and I came to a stop at the edge of the small hill to see Aiden, Ethan, Scott and Isaac all partially shifted into werewolves.
"Oh god, seriously?" I complained loudly with a scowl as I placed my hands on my hips and they all turned to face me in surprise as I quirked an eyebrow at them accusingly. Scott shifted back into his human formed as he opened his mouth to explain when a loud scream interrupted him and I spun around to face the direction it came from with wide eyes. I glanced back at the others with a confused expression before hurrying towards the scream and I heard their footsteps following me as I came to a stop on the outskirts of a crowd of students. I pushed pass the gawking members of the cross country team as I tried to see what they were looking at and I came to a stop at the front of the crowd to see a young man tied to a tree with a dog leash around his neck, blood covering his throat and deathly pale skin.
"It's him, isn't it?" Isaac asked quietly from next to me as I stared in horror at the corpse and I glanced over my shoulder at my brother as he nodded sadly.
"Hey, get out of the way. Get back. Get this area cordoned off before they trample every piece of evidence. " I heard Sheriff Stilinski call from the other side of the crowd and I looked over as he parted the students with the other deputies. "Get these kids out of here! Coach, can you give us a hand here?"
"You heard the man. Nothing to see here. Probably just some homeless kid." Coach shouted loudly as he gestured wildly towards the school and everyone slowly started murmuring quietly as they shifted.
"Coach. He was a senior." Scott corrected him softly as he nodded towards the body discreetly and I wrapped an arm around my stomach as I tore my gaze away from the corpse.
"Oh. He wasn't on the team, was he?"
"He's the guidance counsellor, right?" I whispered sarcastically to Isaac as I stepped backwards so that I was next to him and he smirked at me slightly as I wrapped my arm through his for a silent form of comfort.
"Kyle! Oh, God, Kyle! Oh, God!" a blonde girl cried hysterically as she ran towards the deceased man with tears streaming down her cheeks and I had to blink away tears with sadness as I looked away from the scene. Isaac tugged gently on my arm as he started walking away from the crime scene and I allowed him to lead me towards where Stiles and Scott were waiting for us.
"You see the way the twins looked at him?" Isaac asked suspiciously as he glanced over his shoulder at the Alpha's when we started walking back to school. I linked my arm through my brother's as we strolled in between our best friends and I risked a glance over my shoulder at the identical twins that were walking the in the opposite direction.
"Yeah, you mean like they had no idea what happened?" Stiles suggested spitefully as he rolled his eyes at the Beta and Isaac shook his head in denial as he turned his head around to face the front.
"No, no, they knew."
"The kid was strangled with a garrotte, all right? Am I the only one recognizing the lack of 'werewolfitude' in these murders?"
"Oh, you think it's a coincidence they turn up and then people start dying?"
"Well, no, but I still don't think it's them." He insisted vehemently as he came to a complete stop in the middle of the trail and held his arm out to stop Scott from walking as well. Isaac gripped my elbow to jump me to a stop as Scott froze next to me and I quirked an eyebrow at them in amusement as I looked between them. "Scott?"
"Sophie, how 'bout you?" Isaac asked me pointedly as he turned his body to face me with his arms crossed over his chest and I sighed slightly as I shared a look with Scott.
"We don't know yet." I answered for us both as I looked from one of them to the other and Stiles gaped at me as though he didn't recognise the language I was using.
"You don't know yet?" Stiles asked in outrage as he threw his arms out to the side with an incredulous expression and Isaac groaned in frustration as he rolled his steely blue eyes.
"Well, he's got a point. Seriously, dude, human sacrifices?" Scott asked in slight amusement as he quirked an eyebrow at his best friend and I nodded in agreement with a dubious expression.
"Scott, Sophie, your eyes turn into yellow glow sticks, okay? Hair literally grows from your cheeks and then will immediately disappear, and if I were to stab you right now, it would just magically heal, but you're telling me that you're having trouble grasping human sacrifices?"
"That's a good point too." I said diplomatically with a sigh as I turned to look at Isaac with an apologetic expression and Scott nodded his head in agreement as Stiles smirked victoriously.
"I don't care. They killed that kid, they killed the girl that saved me. I'm gonna kill them too." Isaac declared firmly as his eyes hardened angrily and he started hurrying away from us towards the school without a backwards glance.
"Isaac!" I called out after him with a pleading edge to my voice but he just continued walking and I sighed heavily because I knew that the Alpha twins wouldn't hesitate to kill him. "He's going to get himself killed."
After we had returned to school that morning, I had changed into my Jack by BB Dakota Tank top (2 thick straps) A-line Chillin' dress and JustFab Selene heels with my brunette in a loose side ponytail. The rest the of the morning had been quite boring with my normal classes that had no supernatural problems and I was able to enjoy the few minutes of peaceful teenage bliss without worrying too much. I was opening my locker after French class with a small smile on my lips as other students passed behind me and I sighed slightly in contentment as I placed my textbook inside.
"What do I have to do to get you to agree to have lunch with me?" a familiar voice asked curiously from besides me as I gritted my teeth in aggravation and I peeked at Aiden from the corner of my eye as I forced a tight smile.
"Change personalities?" I suggested innocently as I turned back to my open locker and he laughed genuinely as he leaned his shoulder against the locker next to mine with a small honest smile. The appearance of an actual smile instead of his usual cocky smirk made me smile slightly despite myself and I bit the inside of my cheek in reprimand as I reached into my locker to grab my lipstick before turning to face the mirror on the inside of the locker door.
"Come on, I'll be a perfect gentleman."
"Don't use words you don't know the meaning of, Aiden." I taunted him lightly with a small smirk as I fixed my lipstick in the mirror and he chuckled softly as his smile widened slightly.
"Oh, trust me. I know the meaning of the word 'perfect'. I see it every day when I look in the mirror." He said cockily with a smirk on his lips as I placed my lipstick back in my locker and I couldn't help the light chuckle that escaped my lips. it felt so natural to be joking around with Aiden that it just flowed freely without me thinking about what to say next and I didn't even think to censor what I said to him because I knew that it didn't matter what he thought of me so it didn't matter if I was myself.
"I meant 'gentleman', actually." I corrected him pointedly with a smile in his direction as I closed my locker and I tilted my head to the side when I heard his heart rate accelerate slightly before returning to normal.
"So, lunch?"
"Nope. Plans."
"What about tonight?"
"Nope. Studying."
"I could help you." He offered confidently with a smirk on his lips as he took a step closer to me and I leaned my back against the cool metal of the locker with a quirked eyebrow.
"Do you have an IQ higher than 170?" I asked him with a dubious expression as I tilted my head to the side in question and his lips quirked up in a smile as he shook his head in answer.
"Okay. You could help me." Aiden said nonchalantly as he shrugged one shoulder innocently at me with his chocolate brown eyes twinkling with mirth and I scoffed out a laugh as I turned my head away from him before looking back at him with an amused smile. He stepped closer to me as he leaned in conspiratorially with a small grin on his lips and I bit my lower lip in between my teeth as his gaze darted down to my lip before meeting my lips. "I know we don't need any help with chemistry."
"Oh, god." I muttered in amusement with a groan as I laughed freely at his cheesy line and he chuckled as he leaned his shoulder back on the locker next to me with a smug smile on his lips. I shook my head at him as I pushed myself off of the metal locker with a smile on my lips and he watched me intently as I took a small step closer to him. My lips pulled up in a confident smirk as I slowly ran one hand up his chest to his shoulder and leaned up so that my lips gently brushed against his ear. "I think I'm more interested in biology."
"I can help with that." he whispered back to me huskily as he turned his head slightly so that our breath mixed together and I tried to suppress a shiver as his warm breath caressed my lips. I inhaled sharply as my stomach tightened with lust at the dark look in his chocolate brown eyes and I bit my lip seductively as I gently patted his shoulder before sauntering pass him. "Tonight then?" he called out after me in amusement as I strolled confidently down hallway and I chuckled lightly as I shook my head at his conviction.
"Not going to happen!" I called back to him without turning around as I waved a hand over my head and I heard him laughing faintly as a smirk pulled onto my lips. I immediately crashed into someone as I walked around the corner and I jerked to a stop as I scowled at the person before my eyes wide eye in surprise.
"Hey there, Sophie." Scott said tensely as he crossed his arms over his chest with a blank expression on his face but I could see the anger in his dark brown eyes and I instantly knew that he had heard at least some my conversation with Aiden. My brother gripped my elbow tightly as he started dragging me into an empty classroom and I rolled my eyes at him in annoyance but let him pull me into the room. Scott checked to make sure the door was locked as I strolled over to one of the desk in the front row and gracefully slid on top of it as I waited for my upcoming lecture. I pursed my lips together as I swung my feet carelessly over the edge of the desk and Scott sighed heavily as he turned away from the door with a frown on his lips. "What the hell was that, Sophie!?"
"It wasn't anything, Scott." I replied calmly with a roll of my eyes as I looked at him and he ran a frustrated hand through his hair as he clenched his jaw.
"You do realise that the twins are the bad guys, right?"
"The 'bad guys'? This isn't a comic book, Scott. They're actual people, not characters." I scolded him pointedly as I forced myself not to roll my eyes at him again and he shook his head slightly as he looked away from me. "It was a conversation. That's it. Besides, are you really going to lecture me on who not to date?"
"What's that meant to mean?" he asked me in confusion as he looked at me with a furrow forehead and I scoffed loudly at him as I gracefully slid down from the desk I was sitting on.
"Allison, Scott! It's meant to mean that you are the dumbass who risked his life repeatedly for a girl you knew for all of two seconds. Allie's great, and I know that now, but back when you had just changed and you were struggling to hold it together? We didn't know her at all. For all we knew, she could have known about her family history and was using you to get to Derek. Allison's family, Allison, they're werewolf hunters, Scott. And, you are a werewolf. Talk about irony. You love her, I know, and I support you, no matter what but this 'Romeo and Juliet' situation is driving me crazy worrying about you. You nearly died last time one of her relatives came to town and it might happen again. How am I meant to feel if you die because of Allison? She's my friend but if you died because you love her, I don't know what I'd do. " I cried angrily as I clenched my hands into fists at my side so that I didn't end up hitting my brother and I shook my head at myself as I looked away from him with tears in my eyes. I blinked away the tears as I cleared my throat and crossed my arms over my chest as I looked down at my feet before meeting my brother's conflicted gaze. "I love you, Scott. And I value your opinion but I'm not going to just blindly follow what you want. I know that Aiden and Ethan are part of the Alpha pack, I know that they're the 'bad guys' or whatever but I don't see things in black and white like you do."
"I'm just worried about you." He admitted in a small voice as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and I saw the sincere concern in his dark brown eyes as I smiled feebly.
"I know. And I love you for it, but please don't treat me like a child. I can make my own decisions, my own mistakes."
"I don't want you to make mistakes." Scott joked lightly with a weak smile on his lips as he ducked his head before looking back up at me and I chuckled softly at his words as I wrinkled my nose at him jokingly. I opened my mouth to respond with a witty comment but a faint growling interrupted me and I immediately turned to the door with a frown on my lips at the same time Scott did.
"Isaac!" I exclaimed in realisation as I started rushing towards the door to the classroom and Scott followed after me quickly as he swore under his breath. I followed the growling as it got louder the closer I got to Isaac and I turned a corner to see a soda machine shoved up against the outside of the supply closest. I turned my head to Scott as I nodded my head towards the machine and he nodded back at me in understanding as we moved to the side of the machine. We both pushed as hard as we could on the metal and the machine instantly slid out of the way as though it weighed nothing at all. The closet door immediately flew open as I spun around with wide eyes and Isaac stumbled out where his werewolf features displayed as he growled loudly. He snarled angrily as he started down the hallway with a murderous glint in his amber glowing eyes and my eyes widened in fear as I rushed forward to grab his shoulder from behind before tossing him to the ground before he could attack someone innocent. Isaac growled loudly as he tumbled to the floor on his back and he started to climb to his feet quickly but I punched him in the stomach so that he stayed down. I growled lowly in the back of my throat as I surged forward to stop him before he could get back up and I straddled his hips as I gripped his wrists over his head so that he couldn't move. I grunted in frustration as he struggled to escape from my hold and I glanced up pleadingly at where Scott stood next to Allison as he moved crouched next to me quickly.
"Isaac!" Scott roared loudly as his eyes turned brilliant amber and Isaac froze under me as he stared at my brother in silent astonishment with a weak growl. I gaped at him in shock as his eyes flashed a scarlet red like an Alpha's before returning to their normal dark brown and Isaac's werewolf retreated as he exhaled quickly like he was hyperventilating. Scott stare at the Beta in concern for a second as I continued to gape at my brother because I was in shock that his eyes had changed to red and I tried to convince myself that I had imagined it. Scott stood up from his crouch as he moved to stand next to Allison with a concerned frown and I noticed that Allie was holding her arm to her chest with two bloody scratches.
"I'm okay. I'm fine." Allison assured us all quietly as she glanced at all of us in turn and I offered her a small smile as I climbed off of Isaac carefully. Isaac pulled himself up to sitting position as he shuffled back against the wall and I crawled over to him with a small frown on my lips as he blinked away tears from his steely blue eyes.
"I'm sorry, I didn't... I didn't mean to do that. I'm so sorry." Isaac stuttered towards Allison as he pulled his knees up to his chest with tears filling his eyes and I took a shaky breath as I wrapped my arms around his head comfortingly knowing that he was having flashbacks to when his father locked him in the freezer in his basement.
"It's not his fault."
"I know. I guess now we know they want to do more than get you angry. They want to get someone hurt." Scott said softly as he wrapped an arm around Allison's thin waist and Isaac sniffled slightly as he pulled out of my embrace with a small smile in my direction.
"So are we gonna do something?" Isaac asked my brother pointedly as I sat down next to him with a frown and Scott glanced in my direction quickly before nodded in answer to the Beta's question.
"Yeah. We're gonna get them angry. Really angry."
I came to a stop in the doorway with a smirk on my lips as I looked around the classroom for the Alpha twins and my smiled widened slightly when I saw them sitting at their desks in the middle of the room. Scott approached me from behind with a smirk on his lips as he stopped next to me and I glanced at him over my shoulder as he held his phone out for me to take. I winked at him playfully as I accepted the phone from him and chuckled lightly when I saw the photo of Isaac sitting on one of the twin's MV Agusta motorbike.
"Okay, everyone. I know this is the last class of the day. To be honest, I want to get out of here too." Ms Blake announced brightly as she walked to the front of the class and I strolled over to the seat next to Aiden as Scott sat down on Ethan's other side. Aiden glanced at me in surprise with a smirk on his lips as I smiled at him innocently and I felt a wave of guilt over what I was going to do but quickly diminished it when I remembered that they had hurt Isaac.
"Looks kind of important." Scott said cheerfully as he pulled a metal bolt out of the bag with a grin on his face and both of the Alpha twin's stared at the piece of machinery in horror.
"I have no idea what that thing does." I commented in mock-confusion as I pulled out the spark plug of the motorbike out of my bag and the Alpha's snapped their gaze's around to me as I placed it on Aiden's desktop. A motorcycle engine revs outside in the parking lot as Aiden's chocolate brown's eyes fired up with rage and he climbed out of his seat quickly as the engine roared loudly.
"Wait. Aiden, don't!" Ethan called out to him as Aiden ran out of the classroom without looking back and Ms Blake stared at the door in surprise as the sound of tired screeching out in the hallway echoed into the classroom.
"Get off my bike!" I heard Aiden scream angrily at who I assumed was Isaac as I shared a grin with Scott and Ethan clenched his jaw closed as his knuckles turned white.
"No problem." Isaac replied cockily from the hallway as we all stood up and started to follow Ms Blake out into the hallway to see Aiden standing in front of his motorcycle alone in the middle of the hallway.
"You have got to be kidding me. You realize this is gonna result in a suspension." Ms Blake exclaimed incredulously as she placed her hands on her hips and Aiden spun around in surprise to face the teacher just as Isaac wandered over to my side with a smirk on his face. Allison strolled over to stand on Scott's other side as I wrapped an arm around Isaac's waist and we all smirked triumphantly when the Alpha twin's look over at us.
"Yeah, I wish I could have seen their faces. They look seriously pissed?" Isaac asked excitedly as we walked down the stairs together and Scott laughed at the eager expression on the Beta's face as I giggled slightly.
"Yeah." I answered him with a grin as I linked my arm through his casually and he chuckled happily as he nodded in pleasure. Scott froze at the bottom of the stairs in the middle of the hallway and I frowned in confusion as I hurried over to his side with Isaac next to me. my eyes widened slightly as I took in the sight of the Alpha twin's standing at the opposite end of the hallway with serious expressions on their faces. "Kind of like that. I blame you for this, Isaac."
"Yeah, I kinda of blame me too." Isaac murmured quietly next to me as Scott grabbed my hand on the other side and I watched in dismay as Aiden and Ethan started to silently strip out of their t-shirts. Ethan knelt down onto the ground as Scott, Isaac and I looked at each other in confusion and then Aiden slammed his fist down into his brother's bare back as they both growled. Their normally chocolate brown eyes changed to scarlet red as their bones started to crack noisily and they bodies seemed to merge into one as they formed one giant Alpha with one final echoing roar. "We can take them."
"Are you kidding?" I asked in disbelief as I started running backwards with Scott next to me and I grabbed Isaac's hand to pull him with me as we turned around running down the hallway. I heard footsteps chasing after us Scott pushed me roughly forward and I sprawled onto the floor with a grunt as I rolled onto my back. I stared in horror as the morphed Alpha speared their elongated claws into my brother and best friend's back as they eyes went wide with panic. I felt tears spring to my eyes as I tried to stand up but the Alpha growled lowly at me and I stayed down in a crouch as I glared at them heatedly. Scott's face scrunched up in pain as he tried to shake his head at me and I pressed my lips together as the Alpha smashed the two boy's heads together with a sickening crack. The Alpha tossed the boys down the opposite end of the hallway from me as snarled angrily and I tried to stand up but the Alpha kicked me in the stomach so that I sprawled to the ground with a grunt of pain. I hissed in pain as my wrist snapped out of place when I landed on it wrong and I heard a faint tapping coming from down the hallway. I frowned in confusion as the tapping got closer to where we were and then gaped when the blind man I had meet at the hospital appeared at the end of the hallway with his cane in hand. The morphed Alpha froze in the middle of the hallway for a second before it started to separate with a loud crack of bones and then Aiden and Ethan were once standing in its place. Ethan stared straight ahead with a blank expression on his face as Aiden looked down at the ground with a slightly ashamed look and it wasn't hard to tell that the Alpha twins were afraid of the new occupant of the hallway. The blind man came to a stop just in front of the twins as Aiden shifted on his feet slightly and I glanced over at Scott and Isaac to see that they were just as confused as I was. The man lifted his cane up off of the ground and removed a cap off the end to reveal a sharp metal knife in the handle before whipping it so that sliced them both on the cheek in one swipe. I whined slightly in sympathy for the twins as the blind man silently covered the end of the cane once again before he started walking passed them without a word and I looked up in surprise when he came to a stop in front of me.
"Well, hello again, Sophia." The blind man greeted me calmly as though we were running into each other on the street and I lifted my chin up defiantly as I tried to get my heart to stop beating so quickly.
"Duke. Or should I be calling you Deucalion?" I asked in the smoothest voice I could muster and he chuckled lowly as he extended a hand to help me off of the floor. I stared at his offered hand for a moment before hesitantly placing my hand in his and he carefully pulled me to my feet before kissing the back of my hand gently like he did the first time we meet.
"Always a pleasure, Sophia." He said to me without answering my previous question as he started walking around me and I followed him with my eyes suspiciously as the Alpha twins trailed after him.
